Honestly I got introduced to Persona by a friend's Shuake content but I feel like the bathhouse has gotta be mentioned because shoutout to traumadumping. I wish I could say "honey I'm home" bc it's iconic but no it was already established by then

The bathhouse scene needs to be studied... like I know going to the bathhouse with the homies isn't gay by itself but the way they were facing each other the whole time like cmon

"what made you go shuake canon the most" i actually watched the anime before playing the game because i needed to Consume The Plot and I couldn't play the game fast enough when I was sick sometime last year. It was actually the scene in the TV studio where Akechi notices Akira and it just zooms in on his mouth and he smiles like "huh interesting". Not the best introduction to thinking it was canon but hey. It's just incredibly funny to me that Akechi sees a beautiful guy in the audience and is like "I must talk to him now now now now now now let me think what will make me sound smart, ah *Hegel*" right away when he really should be desensitised to it considering he's a literal celebrity and he's surrounded by beautiful people on the daily

Also the fact that the anime puts more emphasis on Akechi (before Royal released) really helped I think. Now the brainrot has taken me and I can't escape

That's a good one~ There's this one scene in the anime, before Akechi and Ren meet at the studio, where Akechi sees Ren on the subway... and he like stares and gasps and to this day I'm not sURE WHAT THAT WAS like as far as we know they haven't met each other until that point... so unless Akechi has seen him in the Metaverse off screen I can only explain it as Goro Akechi's Gay Awakening (tm)

It would probably come as a shock to him considering what Akechi did to Wakaba but I don't think he'd treat him much differently, though maybe that's just because I like to imagine Sojiro as a dad figure to Akechi anyway 🤧 He can have a good dad! As a treat!

I like pretty much everything by Clamp, they're everything I aspire to be as an author 👌 But Tsubasa is special to me, it somehow ticks all the right boxes, I haven't found any manga I enjoyed nearly as much ever since I read it back in 2016!
