Take note, commission artists

Let me break down why Fiverr is AWESOME for commissions. 

You can neatly lay out how much the commission will cost in tiers. Let’s face it, commission sheets can get really cluttered fast. This makes it ten times easier to say “it’s $15 for lineart, and $10 extra per character bla bla bla”. There’s no confusion. 

People can search for services and find you. You don’t have to rely on building up your social media to get customers (though it helps).

You can outline how many revision you include, and charge more for additional revisions. This is FUCKING GREAT because it pretty much eliminates this awkward exchange of “welllll, it’s just a tiny tweak, I shouldn’t have to pay for it”. Now’s there’s no contest, you can do the revision and get properly paid for it.

It’s easy to use.

You can make it mandatory for customers to provide additional information, photos, etc when they purchase if you want to make your life easier. 

The only real gripe I have is that the platform doesn’t allow for more than three photos, but other than that, it’s awesome for commission work.
