This is how I go from fibre to yarn, first it is spun into singles (1 thread) then wound to form a centre pull ball, so I can pull the thread from the outside and inside of the ball to ply it into the finished yarn (2 threads together). I then wind it on my niddy noddy to form a big loop that can be twisted into a hank. I then dyed this particular lot (over 1.1 kgs!) in a dark jade/teal colour to be knitted into a cardigan.
