I just started following you, and I just wanted to say I'm so happy someone actually acknowledges cv64. Carrie is a good witch friend.

CV64 has many, many flaws, and I don’t fault the fandom for giving it the reputation it has - but at the same time, it has a lot of really interesting things about it, and I’m very glad I played it and Legacy of Darkness (which I did finally finish…after about 25 tries at the final boss).

I love Carrie because she gives so few fucks. Nobody forced her to go to the castle. She didn’t get kidnapped. Nope, this 12-year-old pile of whoopass goes to the most dangerous place in Europe, alone, because she wants to beat Dracula up herself.
