Jimmy Cliff feat Lebo M - Hakuna Matata 1995
A second version of the song "Hakuna Matata" from the 1994 film The Lion King was produced for the companion album Rhythm of the Pride Lands. Just as with the original version, it was written by Elton John and Tim Rice. This version has a slightly modified, previously unreleased verse focusing on Timon's past. It was partially rewritten with a different instrument arrangement, but remains very similar to the original. The music video was featured on the VHS tapes of the Lion King film in some countries.

Nat King Cole - Nature Boy 1948
The single was released in 1948, and later appeared on the 1961 album The Nat King Cole Story. It reached the top of the Billboard music charts and sold over a million copies, and introduced him to the white music market. In 1999, the song was awarded the Grammy Hall of Fame Award, a special award established in 1973 to honor recordings that are at least twenty-five years old and that have "qualitative or historical significance". Following Cole's success, rival record companies released cover versions of "Nature Boy" by other artists which ultimately became a pop and jazz standard, with many artists interpreting the song. It was also used in numerous films like The Boy with Green Hair, The Talented Mr. Ripley, and the 2001 musical Moulin Rouge!, for which David Bowie recorded a version. Both new and old listeners like the song, with a total of 74,6% yes votes in total.

Ryan Gosling - Put Me in the Car 2000
Ryan Gosling, from Young Hercules fame (also some movie credits such as Blade Runner 2049, Drive, Barbie, La La Land…), released the album Angel With Tatooed Wings in 2000 where "Put Me in the Car" was featured, and later made the song available for download in 2007.
He later started a band, Dead Man's Bones, who released their self-titled debut album and toured North America in 2009.
Tumblr wasn't impressed but it's ok, Ryan. You'll always be kenough for me. 💖

*I tried to select the films that come up the most and the highest on lists of the best films ever, both those by critics and those based on audience votes. I understand there are several others that you see a lot as well, but there are only limited options and I think I managed to select the ones you see the very most.
