the thing about bracken/masked is that theyre very different from each other. Brackens are made for the dark, to hide away, to strike so sudden. Maskeds are open though, they'll make their presence known before you even see them: laughs echoing throughout the manor, weeps of sorrow, breathing, loud steps.

You'd think they'd never interact, but they do. Their relationship is stronger than any of the others as well.

Masked aren't usually aware of Bracken behaviour though, often bossing them around when their plan didn't work out cause of it. (Like hunting for a host that the Bracken sucked the life out of, like, completely.)

Brackens won't take that even if they aren't hostile creatures. They'll take control since they're a lot stronger than the slow deteriorating body of the Masked. Forcing them down and nearly cracking their bones under the pressure. The Masked only laughs, panting as it's body trembles with the pain.

As freaky as it is Maskeds enjoy it. Playing with the Bracken who thinks it has control as they continue with their (now taunting) chuckles.

Learning about each other through heated confrontations (fights). Turning into an aggressive symbiotic relationship. Some moments filled with honest adoration, some full of uncontrollable lust. Who knows whats going on with them anymore?
