Social media rots your brain. The very least one can do is search it and verify instead of believing everything anyone says that fits ones paranoia and ignorance
"All people must provide proof of identity when they register to vote in California. Falsifying voter registration information is a felony punishable by up to three years in prison."
Fuck California & Gov Newsom who signed an unconstitutional law that allows anyone in Ca. to vote in federal elections. IMO, the state electoral college votes of any state not following the laws of the U.S. Constitution concerning Federal elections should be discarded & not counted.

its odd that this is an issue and more focus isn't put on the state governments counting of ballots. So many ballots are thrown out because of multiple entries or incorrect information, why is it so difficult to think that there are checks against illegal voting?
Ballots are indeed counted. Even if anyone and everyone could cast a ballot that doesn't mean they are going to be counted.
An even better idea is equal weight of votes among all 50 states so that there aren't any swing state or that all states are swing states. It starts with criminalizing redistricting and then using AI and the tech we have to generate equal districts for all states, equalizing the vote and making the election less of a sports event and more of a smart democratic republic.
If anyone is really so concerned about who's voting and if they're votes are being verified for citizenship then go out there and be a poll worker and ballot counter. Maybe musk instead of all the melodramatics and fear mongering could get his team, because I know its not him doing it, to create better voting machines.

"The Nuremberg Code is a set of ethical research principles for human experimentation created by the court in U.S. v Brandt, one of the Subsequent Nuremberg trials that were held after the Second World War."
Now in the context of a viral epidemic, there should be an attempt to understand oth sides of an argument. We can speculate that the Covid virus was a form of experimentation, but until evidence condemns the guilty party, the virus was recklessly created and mismanagement resulted in its escape/release into the world.
In an epidemic of an unresearched strain and highly contagious virus we would hope public officials would seek the protection of all the citizens they serve. We would also hope that individuals wouldn't actively seek to put their community at risk.
yet, if we allow ourselves to move forward with a perspective or rhetoric in our minds that there is a centralized authority attempting to diminish individual liberties and something like masks is an attempt to subdue the will of a people then any effort by public officials would and could be scrutinized.
Sure the international and global entities must be viewed with skepticism by most sovereign nations and required to show the necessity of their existence through their reliability and trust.
Now if government could not protect the public spaces used by the population that are ran by governments? What if corporations themselves were the ones enforcing a mask mandate?
No shoes, no shirt, no mask, no service.
Yet if it were a more deadly disease all would end because of paranoia and self righteousness that resulted in the more rapid spread of a virus. However, that was not the case and it later was known that merely any mask could prevent a contagion spreading but only certain ones.
Now what if governments required households to maintain an inventory of select masks or even more industrial strength gas masks? Of course, personal property and individual liberties would need protection and defending but in comparison to the a mask mandate for government ran public spaces it seems that there is more defense in protecting individual liberties when they remain on personal or private property rather than in public spaces.
Perhaps we must be reminded of a balance of government and governed for the US is no longer the wild west nor are we under the rule of a monarchy. Yet even within this balance the other threats are to be remembered as well; fascism, communism, an oligarchy, and any other form of unjust corrupt faction rule over a lawful people.
Much criticism can be detailed about the management of the pandemic and much should and always be remembered.

Thought about this the other day not about the watches but about anything offered for sale while running for public office or in public office.
If we hold the office of the presidency as a pinnacle, or some high regard, perhaps even something special, and I use the church as an example similar to what I am seeing then I see parallels to how the church was when Jesus walked the earth and the publicans and pharisees made a house of worship into a den of money changers.
I would argue about a conflict of interest, but I suppose the run for the presidency isn't as secure as holding the office. This is partially why I believe the grifter narrative, and though he may not be the only one to have made the office of the presidency into something less than honorable, he blatantly does so and our patriots and people of faith love it for some reason.
Even the social media business, I believe, is a conflict of interest. Its the use of public office for personal gain. Unconstitutional. Now again, he is not the only one of course. I hope those who truly believe in the progress of our nation being further built with the foundation that it was made with realize that it may be better for them to remove themselves if doing those that can be accused of the most recent, or if they're willing to sacrifice the reputation of political office and the larger party associated with. Maybe it's a large ask, but one that should be mentioned.
Does public office and public service truly mean anything, or is it simply a means of wealth accumulation while speaking words that want to be heard?
This has nothing to do with the debate. Though on that topic, I dislike news conglomerate held debates which now seem the standard. I'd appreciate if they could hold up a newspaper with the date and have a live broadcast in the background as a timestamp, but perhaps it's too soon for it. It's odd how the VP position was a joke and now seems to be a position of authority as much as the president. Lots of talk of going back, but Trump inherited an Obama economy and kept or capitalized on his policies, changed a few. He won't have that luxary if again.
I'd prefer to not go back and to move forward towards prosperity, prudence, and strength. Many other virtues I'd ask from representation as well, but perhaps.. It's too soon or too late to ask.
Dislike the conglomerates and monopolies which I blame high electricity prices on. If more competition existed then there could be better rates, a decentralized grid, and perhaps green energy farms. PG&E probably has not improved their infrastructure since the big deal about it and fires around 2016. Probably much better ways to spin an alternator.
Idk, the rich illegal immigrants competing for housing sounds very unbelievable because if they're rich and buying houses?? Who's selling to them??
States are willing to allow women to either die or become infertile, if healthcare is debatable, what protections can be promised? Definitely more can be done on and by the dem side.
Aca is beneficial. Social security is necessary to care for the elderly and disabled, but much better if improved to a needs-based and elderly wealthy people were later to receive it and priority was the poor and needy.
A wall is built one brick at a time. I'd prefer a great wall of the Americas for sure, but likely over the course of decades. Create many jobs too. Maybe a continental project.
Sounded like shipping was the reason for the high costs of goods because of gas and fuel cost. Electric vehicles could probably help. Shipping is one thing that should be better improved.
All in all, more can be done. Instead of going backwards, because again though there is a post-"recession" economy, or better said a recovering economy, to inherit it is not the Obama economy left in 2016. Likely still fragile, because more can be done.
Consumer protections are necessary and though regulatory bodies sound restrictive they are what separate us from poor quality goods that break quickly, goods and services that are hollowed out and overpriced, and something like cars that are made to be lemons after a certain amount of regular use.
More can be done in the middle without needing the extremes and much more can be discussed IMO. In my personal opinion.

Tax Plans
youtube
On Tax Reform:
2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act is set to expire in 2025.
Tax cuts for the lower income gave a majority an extra $900 on average while the higher income obtained $61,000 on average.
DJT is likely to continue the TCJA,
While the idea proposed through VP Harris cabinet would leave taxes unchanged (a continuation of the TJCA cuts) for those with an income under $400,000, per the video is 98% of Americans, which in essence means that any criticism about tax plans is criticism about how to tax the 2% of Americans making over $400,000 in income.
A note on the wealth disparity: <$400,000 = 98% of Americans and >$400,000 = 2% of Americans.
So the tax debate boils down to how are the 2% to be taxed?
Taxes support Government Spending. Tax Cuts support those they are crafted to support.
Government spending includes the roads, bridges, highways, public spaces, public transportation, public healthcare, social security, interest payment on the deficit, military and agency budgets, and much more.
If this were a better today, we would see public servants and not an imitation of royalty or oligarchy. A discussion for another day.
Now with tax cuts the discussion broadens to how do Americans use their money and where does that money go? Does it stay in circulation or is it in some way removed from the US economy?
A majority is likely remaining within the US economy for the 98%. Purchasing goods and services, paying debts, and all the dad to day uses to support ones lifestyle. Of course if there are purchases of assets/commodities such as precious metals and cryptocurrencies then if unreported or not used then that money would be considered removed from the economy. But the likelyhood of not reporting and commuting tax fraud isn't high, and certainly there aren't many role models out there that significantly benefitted from tax fraud. Maybe the likelihood isn't high for the 98%.
So you spend your money and it goes into the ledger of a company. I suppose it would be fine to stop there and say well it goes to a company and companies pay taxes and so it goes to the government.
Just because it looks like a pyramid scheme, doesn't mean it is!
You're fed note goes to a company and that company purchases from suppliers and pays off its debts and purchases assets and much more. So from you to companies to companies and to companies, and if followed it should return into the US economy, right? Seems like that's how circulation works, but perhaps there are places where money is removed from circulation is vast amounts resulting in weak circulation.
What would these holes resulting in weak circulation look like?
Tax evasion, offshore accounts, foreign assets, hoarding of cash (looks like neglect of reinvestment), to name a few.
If government spending pays for public infrastructure and services, and if the tax cuts for the 98% seem to be potential corporate profits what are the benefits of tax cuts for a 2% that do not have the social responsibility that is placed on a government to maintain while being expected to strip its budget by avoiding higher taxes for the 2%?
All in all, your tax cuts become corporate profits that do reach the 2% that don't pay taxes or are able to pay less taxes than you resulting in less money for the government to use on public infrastructure and services that are complained about being forgotten and deteriorated that continued to be forgotten and deteriorated is going to cost more to build and upkeep that would then lead to higher taxes because some didn't pay their fair share or more printing for government spending which would result in higher taxes because some don't pay their share.
The economy truly is on the backs of the 98%, but only because it is allowed. 2 wars in the new millennia and corporate taxes were far below what taxes were for during war time, and now during a US non-war period corporate taxes are wanting to be lower.
Yikes.

Please ensure any of your IoT devices that connect to your home internet and stay on there do not connect to a server in another country. This includes literally any device that you connect your phone to to control lights, plugs, and anything else.
A hole is cyber security that is rarely discussed or when it is people pass it off. Don't think because you have nothing worth collecting that you are excluded from collection or that it isn't damaging. So much information is passed online.
