previously, on the original blog i had for Eph, I was toying with the idea of an "immortal founder" who came to Scala ad Caelum over centuries, through the use of a modded capsule. he would appear years between visits, never seeming to age. he's hopping worlds and times in search of his friends, so he ends up sort of a legendary figure as time goes by in Scala ad Caelum.

i'm also considering an additional concept where, during his search, Ephemer gets stuck on a Sleeping World - or Scala itself becomes a Sleeping World, with only parts of it accessible; kind of like how DDD established that part of Traverse Town was still asleep.

I'm trying to make sense of my own convoluted time-travel idea to allow Eph to reach out to modern times. Listen, he just wants to find his friends, he'll break Laws to do it.

"Is he okay?" He would ask Brain but he hasn't exactly been able to work up the courage yet... their fellow leader was right, he really should grow a backbone.

"He's out with a friend, I think." Ephemer has, admittedly, been a little distracted himself as of late, letting the others go off to do their own things, and not really paying as much attention as he feels he should. There's just been so much to do since they'd been set up in this new version of their world and Master Ava's instruction were... odd to him.

Looking up at Ventus, Ephemer caught sight of the way the younger boy wrung his hands, the worried look on his face. Ephemer offered a small smile. "Hey, I'm sure he's okay. We could go look for him, if you're that worried."

I am open to shipping - I’m portraying Ephemer as pan-romantic and will ship with any character around his age; no adult muses.

Finally, I am likely going to be low-activity - I work Monday through Friday, in addition to running multiple blogs. Please have patience with me as I shuffle through muses frequently.

About the Muse ;

Born in a small village, Ephemer longed for greater things and always showed an affinity for adventure, justice, and good-will - this made him a perfect candidate for a Keybearer. He was chosen by the Master of Masters and his Apprentices to come to Daybreak Town, where he would be trained to forge and wield a Keyblade, join the ranks of the Unions, and eventually, join Ava’s Dandelions, later becoming one of the Union X leaders.

Ephemer has strong ties to his friends and wants to do everything he can to protect them - he is particularly close to Skuld and a friend they both made close to the events of the Keyblade War. Those two are the most important to him, but he cares deeply for all of his friends, even when circumstances pull them apart.

His desire to protect his friends is so strong that it carries across time to help a boy named Sora in the distant future.

Other Info ;

I portray Ephemer as 16-17 years old - he will appear so regardless of what timeline I’m writing him in, unless a specific au comes up and calls for him to be older.

My headcanon is that Ephemer’s home town was Dutch-inspired, as when Ephemer eventually founds Scala ad Caelum, there seems to be a lot of Dutch architectural influences.
