The original book characters would have a lot of friction but you just KNOW that carefully selected movie versions of them would become besties.
Henry Jekyll and Victor Frankenstein would absolutely be best friends

antithesis: saying "none of these words are in the bible" isnt funny anymore either
synthesis: theres some level of biblical relevance that will make jokes funny but we havent found it yet

you know honestly i would respect taylor swift a lot more if she wrote about being a child star forced into a celebrity career instead of like, still making songs about high school breakups as a 30 year old woman

Sorry but what are the problems with the Glass Scientists?? I really don't know much about it except that it's about JnH and the art is okay
Somehow manages to simultaneously depict Mr. Hyde as the evil alter trope Fantasy Not-DID Possession Edition (he’s not) and so immature he’s basically a 12 year old that has adult sex (he’s not). And honestly I don’t care that much that an adaptation makes a character so OOC but (deep long sigh) this characterization has deeply influenced the Jekyll and Hyde fandom to the point some people have kind of… forgotten what Mr. Hyde is like in the original book (a fully developed adult man)

Sharikov nevertheless settled in Hyde's house. Edward couldn't resist the puppy dog eyes.
(Sharikov, according to the plot of the book, is 90% a street dog)
