Finding out that summer seasonal-affective disorder is a real thing has explained so much about my struggles throughout my life. I was always taught it was only in winter and caused by lack of sunlight or Vitamin D, but more than 10% of people experience it in the summer.

So like, for anyone else out there who feels paralyzed with depression and anxiety all summer, who lost their routine, who feels like they should be out with friends or having fun but they’re stuck here missing out

It’s not your fault, you’re gonna be okay, experiencing summer depression does not make you unfun or broken. You will find your way, make coping mechanisms, and heal. There are options <3

Hi, you guys!

If you follow me for awhile you know I had to ask for help before, then had a couple temp jobs that helped us a lot, but now I'm back to not working so I can take care of my mom. I will upload pictures of some of the tests, appointments and all the medical assistance my mom had and/or has scheduled for the next couple weeks/months, bellow. There's still some we're waiting for the papers.

Those are supported by the free clinic, so we don't need to pay for them, but we do need to pay for transportation and for the other half of her medication/diapers.

She's finally scheduled for her first eye surgery, something we have been waiting for 3 years. Once she's finally done with it, we will have to do the whole waiting list again, for the other eye, plus more appointments, tests, medicine, food etc., because nothing is easy with public health. She will need bed rest and I will be with her.

I can't secure any 9 to 5 job right now because every day she needs something of me. Be it going to appointments or going to the free clinic to try to schedule one, and we can't miss the slots they fit us in or we have to wait another month (or more). So I'm back to ask one more time, and I'm so sorry about that, to see if my initial goal can be met (this goal was so we could move but since then we had to use it for health/food).

We still pay $160 of rent plus house expenses (electricity, water, wifi, groceries, some of her medication, phone plan, kitchen gas, mineral water etc.) and our income is of $388, plus our wifi bill has gone $20 bucks more expensive as of this month.

We're using almost $50 on ubers a month, cause she can't take the bus, so anything helps. Starting the goal once more.
