Toki headcanons !

Learning english - despite in the movie him knowing English when he meets the band, I like to think skwisgaar taught him most of his English hence it being really scuffed. Skwisgaar already has messy English and given how we see Toki give up on guitar lessons and other ideas left and right he'd probably cut his English lessons short, maybe even Charles had to step in and make him go to proper lessons [ most of the stuff that stuck was definitely Skwisgaars anyways. ]

Into taxidermy - we see him constantly interested on the arts [ building model war machines, drawing ] I could imagine him trying to [ and possibly POORLY ] taxidermy-ing any pets he gets and possibly any animals that die left after shows. The rest of the band is 100% down with this.

Food sensitivity - like Nathan I think Toki would be very [ way more ] limited when it comes to food options. Obviously partially with his diabetes I think that'd prevent him from over consuming sugar but that's still something he loves; what I mean is I imagine he struggles with very strong flavors and salts. Growing up he was very underfed and probably only ate the bare minimum like breads his mom gave him, he never really experienced American food so it'd definitely be overwhelming and possibly even unappetizing to him the amount of salt. He'd definitely also prefer warm foods like low sodium soups and stews and sweet pies.

Existentialism - yes Toki was raised under a religious "household," but even as a kid I could imagine him being untrusting of these ideas and much less naive than his parents would've wanted him. Especially after meeting Skiwsgaar [ whom I believe to be nihilistic ] I think he's views would change to rather "we're all gonna die, there's nothing after and that's that, though we should find our own purpose while living and enjoy it none-the-less" taking up a much more existentialist view on life.

Nathan headcanons !

Weirdly good with tech - never made fully Canon, or we never had a statement about it but just based on what we see I like the think he's super good with tech, and also given how outcast he was when he was younger it wouldn't surprise me if he got into super techy things and early computer design and components. Building off this I think he'd be super territorial of files when it comes to the band music, he doesn't quite like other people going over his shoulder and he'd hate working with other composers and managers due to not only wanting to keep the general sound of his band but also in fear of them completely using the tech component differently.

Enrolled in sports (involuntarily) - not sure if it was ever shown in the show but I see so many people when it comes to university aged / highschool aged Nathan make him dress in football wear and varsity jackets.. I could imagine his mom especially enrolling himself in these teams as an attempt to making him fit in more due to how cold he came off. This would also be part of his pushing factor to stay fit, not only to preform well [ since he wasn't getting academic validation through the maths and other harder subjects ] but also so people didn't think he was some smuck. At the end of the day the poor guy would still get voted in year books " most likely to go to prison - life sentence" or something like that.

Early relationship with pickles - I like to think he had met pickles in either late highschool or college age [ very early 20s ], would ask him to get him beer and pot since he wasn't legally allowed to yet and carried a small friendly relationship with him even once he was able to afford his own booze. Once he was old enough and didn't really need him, he'd start attending snakes n' barrels [ if not some other first band pickles might've had. ] shows. Not talking or even really bonding with pickles but still feeling a comfort of seeing him again. Not gonna make this any longer but I could see them getting much closer pre snakes n barrels breakup - leading way to his place in dethklok.

Eating - selective eating all the way. Pulling straight from cases I've seen in real life of families from around the same time nathan would've been a kid - the misunderstanding of lower-spectrum autisitic / neurodivergent kids and the rising diet crisis I don't think he mom would've pushed him much to try new foods or get anything as a substitute that he would've liked. I think Nathan as a kid had very few actual foods he'd eat [ mostly junk ] and only now [ I like to think in canon he's mid 40s ] he's expanding his diet.

Skwisgaar headcanons !

Insomniac - there's a billion reasons I could think this [ even just looking at his eyebags ] but this leads into another headcanon about his childhood. I like to think since his mom seemed to be a [ for the most part ] stay-at-home prostitute he'd have to deal with alot of noise, so he permanently damaged his sleep schedule / ability to sleep due to the constant noise. Possibly going days on end without sleeping until he completely crashes and falls asleep for a whole day. Even in mordhaus where he does 100% have access to quiet rooms and headphones ect ect. I think he'd still struggle to sleep. The noise is somewhat comforting, albeit he can't sleep with it and he can't sleep without it.

Lack of comfort in his gender - I 100% believe in transfem skwisgaar but I could imagine a few things holding him back from ever really giving these feelings a second thought / considering such as the bands views on masculinity and sexuality / queerness as a whole, his inability to open up to people and fear of being like his mom. Since he sleeps around so much I could imagine especially if he transitioned and he looks alot like his mom he'd struggle to see himself as any better than her.

Secret accounts - I've seen people do this with other members and I can totally see the same with Skwisgaar. He'd make secret accounts on forums and just glaze himself so hard or argue with people and blame their stupidity on them not being of "better scandinavian intelligence". On the other hand I see him as a perfectionist and I can imagine him generally brushing off most hate and what not, he knows he's famous so it's bound to happen, but when it comes to appearance or sex, comments LINGER in the back of his head.
