UNDER THE CUT.

Samantha Arias had never been more amused. Granted, it was for a bad reason—  but still. She was currently sat in her office at L-Corp, reading a text from her (embarrassed, very embarrassed) daughter. “Help, momma. Supergirl is at my school.” The text read. “And so is Mama Lena’s car.”

“Well,” Sam texted back. “Let me know how that goes.”

Sam could hear her daughter’s moan of denial from all the way across town. See, the truth was, Ruby Arias had been getting bullied at school. Of course, Sam was not happy about that either, but Kara and Lena? Ruby’s bonus moms?

Oh, they were furious.

Guess that explained why Supergirl was going to an elementary school. Sam wondered if she’d pull the same “I’m friends with all the nice girls” stunt. And Lena, of course, would never stand for any bullying so it made sense she would go straight to the source of the problem…. If the problem weren’t some teenage girls.

So the next best thing would be to get them suspended, naturally. “It’s the Luthor in me, darling,” Sam could already hear Lena defending herself.

So yes. She was amused. But she had a good reason to be, darn it.

“But Ally, I really want you to be Merida.” Jamie Sawyer complained for about the millionth time. “You could get a wig ‘cause your hair is the right colour, but not long enough.” Jamie continued.

“Yeah, no, that’s not happening.” Alex Danvers coughed, shaking her head. “Sorry kiddo, but Ally just… doesn’t dress up. Maybe I’ll be a cop for you though, okay?” She tried to compromise.

Jamie stomped her foot. Only stopping the full pout when she received a glare from her mother, Maggie. Then she turned on her heel, wheedling out that, “But Merida is brave like you, Ally.” She tacked on the sweetest smile, and darn it. Alex was falling for it.

“You’ll have to share your candy with me.” Alex warned. “And I’m going to teach you how to use a little bow’n’arrow of your own, if your Mamma says it’s okay.” she glanced at Maggie, who shrugged a non committal answer.

“Deal!” Jamie smiled triumphantly.

10. “Wait, what?! Since when?!” For SuperCorp

Kara had begun to feel the same betrayal that Lena had. Or at least, to some extent. Now that she was here, standing in front of Lena—  They were in their shared apartment, Lena’s things newly placed in shelves and on counters and the like. Kara and Lena had been talking animatedly for hours, before finally sending Kara off to go get food.

“Wait, what?” Kara blinked as she returned into the apartment; eyes immediately going to where Lena was stood in front of the mirror. Wearing…glasses. “Since when do you wear glasses?” she raised a challenging, perfectly manicured eyebrow.

It wasn’t like Kara didn’t think Lena was the cutest thing on this earth or the next wearing glasses (because she did). It was more of a surprise factor than anything. And of course, that pesky betrayal. Lena hadn’t told her she was this cute!!! It was things like this that could wreck a relationship.

Lena jumped, having been caught in the act. She turned, blushing, to Kara. “I don’t, usually. Just when my contacts bother me.” She explained. “I don’t like the way they look on me. I’m sorry you had to see it,” Lena tried to laugh it off.

“I’m only sorry I hadn’t seen it sooner,” Kara stuck her tongue out at Lena. “You’re ADORABLE!” She proclaimed, putting the food on the island counter and walking back over to Lena to kiss her soundly.

That was the last thing either of them said for several minutes.
