1: the character everyone gets wrong

Dave. Motherfucking. Strider. Holy shit, it's not just wrong but bad. Bad to the point that I've stopped interacting with a lot of the fandom because his character is aggressively watered down. I find there is two main interpretations of him, either "swag white boy too cool to feel" or "soft sad boy who is crippled by his trauma". First things first, this guy's a fucking nerd. His fetch-modus is just straight up math, no normal person would willing do math everytime they wanted grab their shit and look at his friend group, they're all nerd too. He's not cool by any stretch of the imagination, not in the way he want to be perceived as and not in the way that a lot of the fandom sees him. Rose even calls him out for trying at act cool when he's painfully not. Him being an try-hard attempting to cover up his actual emotional nature is a massive part of his character arc, because what was sold to him as "tough" and "Cool" was toxic masculinity and homophobia by his brother, who's god tier could literally be interpreted as "destroyer of soul/personality". HE'S ALSO NOT A SOFT BOY. This guy had to "dispose" of alternative versions of himself, REGULARLY. He cuts off Dirk's head in the middle of battle and then kept moving, and that was right after confessing to him how he actually felt about Bro (who, mind you, is the same person as Dirk). He is seen constantly putting aside his own fears for his friends sake or for the sake of moving things along in sburb. He's also not soft for the fact we see him get pretty callus and kinda rude with other characters especially when getting defensive, not exactly what I would consider soft boy behavior 💀 my boy is the exact definition of "I bend but do not break". He's not tough, but he is strong as hell. Hipdadz aka ultimatum is the only person I've ever seen get his character down pat. I rest my case.

20: part of canon you found tedious or boring

I can't remember what act or the page numbers but literally anything with doc scratch. I don't want to have to highlight his text to read it, it just goes on and on and on for so long, and I didn't find his personality exactly interesting. I tried so hard to not skim read those bit because they do hold storyline importance, but it felt like pulling teeth. I also really struggled to read anything with Caliborn or doc english in it. Not that it bad or anything, it was just really fucking slow and I can only read about one topic/character for so long. I could also put Aranea here but I think everyone also skim reads her bit, it goes on forever.

You cannot convince me that Ford would ever top despite the neverending BillFord fics that try to convince me otherwise. He definitely gives off the vibe that he could and would try but he is way too socially awkward, is bossy enough that people just stop listening to him after a minute, and is a little too self centered to be any good. My man was canonically used as a human puppet by Bill 💀 that is not top behavior. This 100% goes for any other pairing with Ford too, I love the man but it just ain't happening.

Davesol. Ngl I'm really stubborn and I rarely change my mind on ships, but the only reason I didn't care for this one was because I thought it was boring. Changed my mind after reading a couple of fics, they definitely have some chemistry that I didn't really see at first. Not exactly my favorite still but I definitely don't avoid it anymore.

Mascots. Furries are fine but mascots in costume are fucking terrifying to me, and I also have megalophobia. worst culprit? saturn. that thing is freaky and I genuinely freak myself out with the idea of earth falling into it (I know it won't happen but still)

I do! Lava lamps, bones, rocks, and dried mushrooms! I'm actually currently cleaning up a possum skull I found a bit ago in my backyard, very cool stuff

I play a few actually! Guitar (Acoustic and Electric), Ukulele, and Flute (I picked it back up after 7 years) I can play most songs but ngl I avoid bar chords whenever I can lol. I used to play piano and clarinet but I lost interest years ago and stopped. I've been eyeing some banjos lately so that will hopefully soon be on this list!

87: where’s "home"?

North Florida. The nature in north florida is just different man... Everytime I try to make plans to move away, I just can't bring myself to do it. There's quite literally is no other place on earth like here and with all the development, if I go it'll just be gone. That and with my friends and family. Holy crap, that feeling of community will literally kill me with joy. There's nothing I've tried that even hits as remotely hard as the feeling I get when/after hanging out with my people.
