Just as he’d expected, she hadn’t given up that easily. An admirable trait to some, an annoyance to others. Right now, it was proving to be both. She was going to be exhausted if she continued. They both needed this training to catch up to the other, seasoned knights’ level, he knew that. Defending himself against plants and trees wasn’t exactly the same as fighting against other men. Then, there was the possibility of Ayden being shot down…

At her offer, he gave it some thought, before slowly nodding. Seemed fair enough. After all, he had Ayden on his side and she did not. It should — hopefully — be an easy win.  

“Okay, fine! Let’s hope, for your sake, that I win.” Thus, he moved back to his previous spot with Ayden following. He then took his position, remaining senses on alert for her first move.

          “Not gonna happen!” Kayley remarked with a bit of a smirk, content she would be having her way for at least a little bit longer.

          Honestly, probably looking better than she felt. Still, if there was one thing she had in spades compared to the energy and endurance--not to mention more agility and probably fighting experience--of the other, was sheer, unadulterated determination. It was in part to that that she earned her place as a knight, it would hopefully be enough to see her through the spar. 

          She eyed him careful, moving on the tips of her toes. It served when in making her footsteps softer, though she knew Ayden would still pose an issue. Unless she moved too fast for him to alert the other. Foolish idea as it was, that what she had in mind as she quickly pivoted on his feet and darted forwards.

          Her body trembled, the exhaustion clearly read on on her expression, in her stance. Sweated on her forehead while red flushed on her face, but even with every part of her screaming for her to stop, she just couldn’t. Even the greatest needed rest, yes, but all the other knights would have had years of practice and training. To meet the expectations set upon her now, either actually theirs or her own, she just couldn’t stop now. To push past the pain, the heavy weariness would be better.

          “Haa...!” A slight, breathless laugh left her lips as she straightened up a little. “You make a pretty good case! Why don’t we...spar it out, hm? One last time! You win, I can...stop! I win, I keep...going a little more...!”

A few tips && tricks on fancy formatting

WITHOUT using html

First things first, a very easy way to make your text look fancy is to switch between big && small text, CAPITALIZED words && normal written words, && CAPITALIZED BIG WORDS and small text. As you can see this already looks somewhat fancy.

Now: If you want to format without html, the most easy way is to highlight a word && wait for these things to pop up:

What you can do with these things is bold, italic, strike, underline (technically that’s a link but whatever) 

&& this big font thing.

Now I personally don’t really use these, I prefer to use key-combinations ( because for me it’s faster ): ctrl / b –> bold ctrl / i –> italic ctrl / shift / 2 –> big font thing ctrl / shift / 6 –> strike

ctrl / shift / 9 –> blockquote

Now these are the basics, but there are more. Most roleplayers like to use small text like the one I’m writing this tutorial in. But to use it you have to go into html mode and type <small></small> everywhere. Or, you use some more key-combinations: ctrl / shift / + (plus) or  -  (minus) ([you gotta try this one]–>small to make it big again (the usual size) just highlight the small text again and press the keys again [logic i know] ctrl / , (comma) –>makes your text go down ctrl / . (dot) –> makes your text go up

NOTE: when you use up/down, it automatically makes your text smaller. If you want it to have the same size, make the text big && then use the combination for up/down

Now we got that out of the way, let’s talk about text like this:

The LAST thing you have to do is to combinate these things at will && voilá: a normal sentence looks FANCY wow && guess what?? You didn’t have to go into html mode once yay!! [just don’t over-do it]
