its so INSANE to me that we can have A TWO PART EPISODE about virgil & his acceptance. have an entire arc where they show that virgil is not a bad side 4 his mistakes, & NOT have people apply that to ANY ONE ELSE. Have people watch that & STILL proceed 2 fucking attack janus as soon as he reveals himself for "being evil". STILL have people attack logan & roman . STILL have people attack patton in later episodes, simply because the other sides start to not like him or call him out on his mistakes . like HEAD IN HANDS.

#its def because 1: almost all the fans were children & couldnt comprehend anything #but especially bcuz 2: thomas & co just. could not write these arcs Well enough.#The reason janus was treated as an evil side despite the entire point of the dark sides arc was that they WERENT evil. was because #the moral of CLBG was still “lying is bad”.#we didnt have a morally grey ending.#people immediately ignored what the storyline was bcuz it Wasnt Written Well. it was not showcased in a way that allowed for the viewers #to think about lying as a morally grey concept #& 2bh virgils arc was written the exact same way. but it was taken differently bcuz (& heres my 3rd reason:) anxiety is something people #can infantalise. anxiety is something that can be treated as a “everyone who has it is actually a pure little angel baby who needs help”#people could not infantalise janus bcuz he represented lying. he represented deceit.#IS THIS MAKING SENSE.
