✙ | “Any kitty cats out over here? Hello--?” Is the Queen of the One United Valentia trying to scout out for cats around Zenith? “I’ll get you some fish if you come on out!~” She says, but the moment footsteps approach the royal, Celica nearly jumps in place, before letting out a sigh, placing a hand above her chest. “WAH! G-Goodness, Alm...! My apologies, I hope I didn’t startle you.”

‘I want the K’ {Celica and Alm because its HAPPENING}

     ORANGES ALWAYS REMINDED HIM OF HAPPIER DAYS, of days long stolen by knowledge and time. Happy mornings where Alm and Mycen had breakfast together even though there had been less and less each month to work with, happy afternoons where the children of the village played in the fields and trained with swords for an enemy they thought would remain nonexistent, and happy evenings spent before the fireplace pouring over storybooks with Celica when she had still been among them in Ram. What number of things have been stolen from him beyond that? How much did the world want from him— did the world beg from him?

Once news had broken out that the little orange tree Alm had planted in the Zofian castle grounds was starting to blossom, the king had taken to visiting it so often. He would sit there with no aim in particular, coming back in to the comfort of a bed when the night air became too cold to keep him there.

It was like the night wanted to steal this little slice of home away from him too. Of course it didn’t, but the melancholic mood has him smiling ruefully anyway. The stars seem too bright for someone so sorry for himself to be gazing at them, so Alm kept his eyes on the petals that had yet to bear fruit. He’s not sure for how long he had sat up in the tree when he hears someone call for him.

❝ Celica? ❞ The bitter sweeps up for the sweet as his expression softens at the sight of her. He’s pretty confident she can’t make out his face right now from where she’s standing, the leaves providing a decent cover for him in the night, so he beckons her to tread closer. ❝ C'mere, ❞ he calls, though he knows it would be so much more reasonable for him to come to her.

In a less lonely mood, he might’ve, but the sadder part of him wants to see her come for him. He’s chased for her these years, and just now he feels childish and wishes to see her do the same — even if it’s not on the same scale, not with the same deliberation, it’s enough for him.

Once she’s close enough, he throws himself back, letting himself dangle from the branch upside-down as he continues to tether himself to it using the back of his knees as his anchor. The tree is too small to replicate the ones from back in Ram but they’re perfectly short enough so that his face might be level with hers in this fashion, and he takes advantage of it by dropping a peck on her lips.

He’s practically glowing, the ghosts haunting him chased away by the warmth of Celica’s presence so close. Alm might have lost so much in the war, but he’s regained a bond so precious that it’s hard to not grin when he’s given the freedom to do silly things like this with her. 

With her, he’ll be alright.

“Lord Alm? While Lord Berkut is not fond of him, I don’t mind Lord Alm. In fact I think he is a kindhearted young man.” Rinea said as she thought about how she felt about her future cousin in law. “He is a little bit stubborn though but I can see why he was able to get people to trust in him. He wants to do what he feels is right.” 

“I have noticed that he likes to be casual with everyone which I am not used to at all. I feel a little bit bad that I just don’t know how to...and to be honest I’m afraid to do so. There are things like, gardening and even farming that I do enjoy talking about with Lord Alm. He knows a lot of things about that and it is nice to talk to someone who loves it just as much as I do. So...I am sad that Lord Berkut does not seem to like Lord Alm, but...I do see him as family regardless of Lord Berkut’s opinions...even if I cannot express it to him like I would want to...”

✙ | “Somehow, I knew you’d be over here.” She just happens to find Alm right in front of the Armory in the Aether Resort, and a laugh escapes her. “Planning to try out a new weapon, I assume?” Askr was quite the realm, and to have a place where heroes can rest and relax, it was almost too good to be a slight vacation! (Then again, it is a Resort, after all.) “Goodness me, I don’t even know where to start in this place!”

OOOO hard question… i think caspar has been super fun to rp so far! but i think alm (@gaileon as a shameless plug) is my most enjoyable muse!

i just have a lot of passion for alm, he has a lot of easy dialogue for me to read without straining myself, and i could get both lighthearted AND intense threads with him back in the day! i’m a li’l sad it’s hard for me to really start up interactions there, which is why i’ve been sticking a lot to my multi but i never say no to writing my boy really

i think another bonus of alm is that i got people who out of the blue would ask me about my hcs and that was cool! there’s definitely perks of singlemuse blogs. i feel like with a multi, i don’t really get that kind of attention, but i also get some ability to try out muses i wouldn’t feel confident making a singlemuse blog for.

It is an Alm and an echoes character. So yes I do like the character a lot.

Favorite part of portrayal:

I would say your interactions with @vallablooded. I also love the interactions your Alm has with @ascendinghatred (who I feel so unworthy of by their beautiful writing as well!),

I also give credit to your interactions with Faye that made me like her a little bit more...I still can’t stand her in the game though...

One piece of advice:

I guess I just want to see more of you. I know you probably are busy so it’s ok. As long as you take your time and make awesome posts you will be fine. 

A verse (mine or theirs) I want a thread in:

I don’t know? I mean Rinea would just talk to him if she has the chance in heroes but if he knows her fate, would he do anything about it? Who knows. Still I think we need to talk more to see what kinda thread you want.

i don’t know how much i’ll be around today but in light of the harvest tourney, here’s my two participants:
