I see him staying inside warming up while watching the snow fall, not really liking going outside. Idk.

He wouldn't deal well with winter. I don't think Vasco would be a fan either, they're both short coated dogs that are used to the comparatively warm Mediterranean climate.

I guess there would be an element of novelty to it at first, and maybe even Machete would find the snowy lanscapes pretty. But he's already having issues with thermoregulation in the canon setting (mostly due to anemia and low body weight. He tends to have cold hands and feet), adding in freezing weather would drain all life out of him very fast. He'd be taking even more hot baths than usual and spending as much time as possible near fireplaces.

hes also so tall because. well honestly my headcanon is he has an insane growth spurt in his teens. have you SEEN bud gleeful? he's huge. hes got Big Dude Genes. also honestly i just think its funny if he goes from being knee-high to 6 feet tall in the space of like, 6 months.

I had this stupid idea that Will would fuck with Hannibal in their injured and sick states after the fall. Maybe out of spite that they're both still alive. Just one time. Will had a nasty fever that broke recently but isn't quite in the clear when it comes to concerns it may come back. Hannibal miscalculated the amount of food they had for the next couple weeks when he was semi-high on pain meds, so he has to reluctantly go out and leave Will alone to go and grab food supplies (Chiyoh is too busy finishing an errand for Hannibal on the other side of the area they're residing in, so she can't come watch him. Hannibal is out for half an hour). Lucid enough to be in the mood to fuck with him, Will just shoots him a text that says "Happy birthday. My limbs are numb :)" even though it's not even close to Hannibal's birthday. Then almost as soon as he sends the text, his phone lights up and he gets 15 calls in a row from Hannibal, all which he lets go to voicemail. Hannibal rushes home and finds Will laughing so hard he thinks it's delirium from the fever returning. You could play with the dirty part of the canon description by having Slash and his people roll in mud to hide their scent.

Parts of the Code labelling using weapons/traps as dishonorable could have started as agreements made that Slash's people wouldn't keep using their old tactics, maybe forced on Thunder's Clan to keep them from becoming too powerful, if they DID fuse.

I'm more liable to just remove the "dirty" thing entirely honestly; I just think it's so shitty I'd like to nuke it from orbit, you get me? Every single time they want you to hate someone, they make them fat and/or stinky. I'd rather just put that kind of rhetoric in the mouths of cats like Clear Sky and The Wind Runner, a lie to demonize their enemies, not really based on truth.

I think I might take the trap stuff though; that actually fits in nicely with how ThunderClan's the only one that uses spears. I won't have it be code yet, though, that's going to come a lot later. And sure, he thinks he's going to die anyway. They're going to be hurt regardless and he can't do anything about that. His odds are low of the Styx flower even working. But ultimately, he refuses to even consider trying. Li Xiangyi has been dead a long time and Li Lianhua is just there to tide things over. What value is the life of a ghost

To the end, he lives and dies a hero. To the end, he refuses to live for himself.

on the topic of talon's design... what's the story regarding the scars? i was always curious about where they came from but could never find any explanation about it.

the torso ones? honestly im debating on whether or not to keep em bc i always get sick of or forget extra details on an oc (did u know al used to have an arm tattoo... i got so tired of it so quickly lmaooo) BUT they're from unintentional self harm, he's got his claws (his talons wee hee) and he grabs at his sides with them unthinkingly when he's nervous....think of it like somebody not noticing they've bit their nails to the point of bleeding because of...whatever's making em bite their nails LOL....

it's why I also often draw shapes on the sides of his tops, they're patches of fabric for reinforcement or replacement... its both a Fix and also a bolder reminder (if he sees em out of the corners of his eyes) to stop ruining his shirts (this was more important when he didn't really have easy ways to get New clothing or make his own if necessary)

honestly i enjoy the character action behind em (unthinking focus, the fact that he has small harm he causes himself subconsciously along with the major, On Purpose stuff) as well as the result (the mending) but I also fear my just-for-fun ocs being Laughably Bad and I know scars are a little 🙄 especially since these also don't even look particularly good on his design ykwim...just looks like when ppl close their eyes and fling em onto their characters 😭 ah well im in no rush to figure it out, he's gonna be changing for as long as he's in my brain
