first is his relationship with crick which give me the 🤨 look all you want but listen. I’m not even talking about the ship this time, I just mean their general dynamic, which yes is very goofy at times but it’s also so complex and interesting. especially when you get into everything crick tells him in chapter 3 stormhail. I don’t like.. I don’t like crick’s death from a literary perspective, idk I just never enjoyed characters being killed for the sole purpose of making you hate the villain or for the emotional appeal particularly when said character is clearly at their lowest point. meeting temenos lead to crick having to learn to doubt (for lack of a better term pf) everything he has ever known, and that has practically brought him to a pit of despair in chapter 3 stormhail and idk I think he deserved the chance to claw his way out of that pit and actually get to learn what faith really means to him and stuff. and also it would be interesting for temenos’ character if one person survived, he already pushes people away out of fear of losing them, if he thought it was just happening again, but it didn’t, he still lived, how would he react to that? how would he develop and move on from that? idk it’s just more interesting to me, but again, conversation for another day, the important part is, their dynamic is very fun and also genuinely interesting, and I like how their characters develop throughout the game because of each other

the second is everyone’s favorite detective duo, temenos and throné. I am a claudelet temenos truther, so siblingisms real, but besides that, their crossed paths and travel banters really hit me I think. my favorite travel banter of all time is one of theirs, “the wool dilemma,” from throné chapter 3 father’s route. wherein throné asks temenos to tell her a story to get her mind off of all. that. and he tells her about this wool dilemma, where wool keeps the sheep warm, but because of that, a lamb never truly feels the warmth of their parents. throné’s response is “I’m not a sheep,” and that to me speaks volumes. she understood exactly why temenos chose this story to tell her, she understands him perfectly. and that’s saying a lot! temenos has a travel banter with osvald in his chapter 5 where osvald explicitly states that temenos never says what he means and it is very confusing and people are bound to misunderstand him. osvald, resident genius scholar, struggles to understand temenos, but throné understands him perfectly. and then their crossed paths… they both have a lot of pent up grief that they are not really… addressing or conveying and they end up working together to tie loose ends both for themselves and others. alpates…… but yeah, they’re a very good duo and the devs made a very good decision having them as a crossed paths duo. I like them a lot….

B I O

Growing up without parents is something that no one should have to suffer through, but unfortunately for Theodore, he had no choice. When he was eight years old, his parents were taken from him too soon, due to a drunk driving accident. He himself was in the car along with them, but fortunately he wasn’t harmed in the collision apart from a few scrapes and bruises here and there. Despite being so young when he lost his parents, he remembers them with crystal clear accuracy. He was very close to his parents, especially his mother. He was what people would normally call a mama’s boy.

Unlike a lot of boys who cling to their fathers while growing up, Teddy found himself clinging to his mother instead. He formed a special bond with her that people couldn’t really understand and after a while stopped trying to understand. He spent a lot of time with her during the first six years of his life. She was an art school teacher, and she would bring him along with her to work, which was the jumping off point for his love of art. Everything he knows about art today stems from watching her teach her classes, and while he couldn’t really comprehend everything she was saying back then, he was exposed to it quite early, which made it easier for him to adjust to art and all its forms when he started to really study it.

When he was just a few years old, his parents had another baby. He was excited to have a younger sibling, one that he could take care of and have a strong bond with. His little sibling had a love for art as well, and that was something they both bonded over. Even though they were both very young, it was very obvious that the both of them wanted to be artists in some way, shape or form. Their mother surrounded them with art and they both took to it like fish to water. His younger sibling was incredibly close to him, and he loved the bond that the two of them shared. Despite the difference in their ages, they were practically best friends who did everything together.

When their parents passed away, the two of them were forced to separate from one another. They weren’t given a choice in the matter because they were so young. Almost immediately his sibling was adopted and he was placed in foster care, something that he hated with every fiber of his being. The foster family he lived with drove him absolutely crazy. They were diehard Catholics and always tried to enforce their views and religious values onto him, which he had no choice but to accept when he was growing up. As he grew older, the more they tried to force religion onto him, the more he rejected it. By the time he was twelve or thirteen years of age, he had already come to the conclusion that he would not follow through with any religion once he came of age. The idea of organized religion had already been tainted for him, and he no longer wanted anything to do with it anymore. Despite his conclusion that he wouldn’t affiliate himself with any religions anymore, his foster parents forced him to attend bible study, Sunday school and even made him participate in the church’s art classes for children. Although that was something he didn’t really mind in the slightest. Being a part of the church’s art class had somewhat revitalized the love he had for art when he was a little kid, and he found himself looking forward for church every Sunday, because that meant he got to do what he loved.

As soon as he turned eighteen, Teddy set off on his search for his younger sibling, wanting to find them and reconnect with them. His foster parents hadn’t allowed him to do so while he was growing up, but now that he was legal and officially out from under their thumb, he knew there was nothing they could do to stop him from looking for his lost sibling. His search for his kin led him to South Korea, where his parents grew up. Upon finding his sibling and reconnecting with them, he also fell in love with the country. It was the exact change of scenery that he needed and had given him a new incentive to continue on with his art. 

These days, Theodore works as a freelance artist and when he’s not making money doing commissions and projects for people here and there, he makes a living being a personal trainer. He hopes to someday kick off his career as a professional, full time artist, but until then, he’s happy having it as a side job and hobby.

bad influence: teddy, despite his appearance, is a lot sweeter and soft than he appears to be. this person is the one that talks him into tapping into his not so nice side. he's been taken advantage of for his kindness before, and this person is tired of seeing people use teddy like that.

tug-of-war: these two go back and forth. one minute they're going on outings and dates and are all cuddled up, then the next they're arguing and fussing. a hot and cold type of relationship that teddy can't seem to get out of. they care for each other, but whenever they try to be anything more than friends, it falls apart.

practically roommates ( multiple ): teddy has his own place and his own roommate, but these two are always hanging out at each other's places. teddy really enjoys their company and vice versa.

I made a Comic today of Little Haydin and Little Charlie and came up with an idea of a Nickname Charlie would’ve given Haydin, its Hayds!!

Sitting at the top of apartment complex just to examine the city and stars feels like something they would do together (Haydin has a thing for Stars :])

LITERALLY FOR THE DAMN FUN OF IT I THOUGHT OF THIS,,, THEY BOTH GO TO CHUCK E. CHEESE AND PLAY GAMES AND EAT OVER THERE

You know that yellow clock ride they have over at Chuck E. Cheese?? The one that goes up and then back down, Yeah I had this thought that Charlie would get on it just to prove something to Haydin, poor dude gets stuck and Haydin is just standing there laughing. But dw he helps him out after

The moment Chuck comes out for that mini dance party for the little kids, Haydin looks at Charlie with a smirk and say “AWHH CHARLIE.. DIDNT KNOW YOU HAD A CLONE” with Charlie telling him to shut up and just covering up his mouth quickly just out of sheer embarrassment.

Funny thing I talked to somebody about: Charlie does the whole “would you still love me if I was worm?” to Haydin and he’d just respond with leaving for a moment only to come back with some worm costume and say “Put this on and then we’ll see” (Spoiler Alert: He loves it)

If it wasn’t obvious, Haydin is taller than Charlie, So imagine the amount of times Haydin would pick on him for being short (tho I think Charlie would enjoy that–/j../hj?)

Haydin used to live with a Horrible family so, he either lied about going to some other friends house or snuck out to Charlie’s House just to hang out with him (Haydin’s Family have like a DEEP HATE for him)

Depending on what activity Haydin’s parents had him doing, if there was some sort of presentation, Charlie would go and just support his best friend and probably give a gift after the presentation in secret

When Haydin had long hair, it felt like Charlie could lay his head on his and just take a tiny nap, they were nice

Haydin has a new redesign (will post eventually) and he has shorter hair now. I like to think that in the hopes that if he ever ran into Charlie again once he went back to the city, he’d look like a super badass best friend.

Charlie’s pet name for the lis is Casper/Cas, i like to think that when Haydin heard it the first time, he sorta just stood there like “should I think this is cute and just say I wanna make out or think this is just him being him??”

Haydin’s form of flirting would be either “your looking submissive and breedable ” or literally any flirty like in Spanish since that is his second language but when he’s serious about something, he just compliments Charlie and ramble about everything he loves about him.

Elena is very affectionate and flirtatious. She likes flirting with you and flustering you, and definitely likes to be holding hands or holding onto you someway at all times.

Elena is really cool. If you’re willing, she loves bringing you with her to parties and concerts, and other high-energy events. If you’re not into the night life and going out too much, she enjoys staying in and watching movies just as well tho she might lay down on you and pretend to be asleep. Either way she also loves showing you projects she’s working on and will do her utmost to convince you to go dirt biking with her.

Elena adores cuddles! She likes holding you and being held~ especially when she’s holding you, she loooves dragging her sharp nails over your skin and making you shiver.

Elena is not the most domestically-minded, but she’s alright at cleaning! Her restoration projects would be difficult to pull off if her place wasn’t clean. She isn’t the best at cooking; she doesn’t really see the point in cooking since she can’t eat it… any meat she cooks ends up underdone. She might make an effort to cook something delicious for you but might also spit in it. Not to be mean to you, but because she likes the idea of you eating her vampire venom…

She’ll turn you into a thrall, keeping you under her influence forcibly. She hates the way your personality dwindles under her influence, but if it keeps you from leaving, then… it’s worth it.

Ohhh she wants to elope immediately! Loves the idea of starting a new life with you, and running around like Bonnie and Clyde 😏

Elena is very bubbly and energetic, and can lose track of how much force she uses, but she’ll never intentionally injure you physically (at least not severely). Emotionally is another story. She’ll stay sweet and cute with you as long as that works to keep you around, but she’s willing to resort to manipulation and negging too.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

She loves hugs and hugs you all the time! Every time she sees you she’ll act like it’s been decades, bounding up to you and almost tackle-hugging you, rubbing her cheek against you like a cat. Her hugs are tight and warm 💕

She says it pretty early on and “casually,” saying it as “a friend,” to gauge your reaction. When you don’t push her away over it, she just says it more often and more seriously. No shame in her game.

Elena gets furiouslyyyy jealous. She has a penchant for hunting down anybody who gets between you and toying with them before ripping their throats out. She also likes the good ‘ol bat to the kneecaps move. Enjoys the cronch 😌

Her kisses are warm, wet, and intense. It’s almost like she’s trying to devour you, but really she can smell and taste how you’re feeling and it drives her wiiiild. She loves kissing you on your neck and shoulders for obvious reasons, but also on your thighs.

Elena is definitely the fun, cool aunt type! Kids have a blast hanging out with her and she keeps them safe, but she’s probably not the best influence haha

You’ll often wake up to her holding you, and she’s always already awake. She lovessss cuddling with you and nuzzling you, and if you try to get up she’ll whine and pull you back in 🥺

Partying~! With or without you, she’s gotta feed sometime. Though obviously she prefers for you to be around where she can keep an eye on you. Otherwise, with Elena, it’s just more cuddling. And some extra intense flirting when she’s buzzed~

Elena’s pretty damn open about everything, except for the vampirism. And killing people. She’ll try to hide both of those facts for as long as possible to avoid scaring you off before you’re dependent on her.

Elena is pretty easily angered; not with you, but anyone else is fair game. Her anger generally passes as quickly as it ignites though.

Elena remembers everything, of course! You’re just so interesting, how could she possibly let anything about you slip through the cracks of her mind? That being said, sometimes she will play dumb just to see you pout or give you a surprise~

Definitely the first time you said that you loved her back~! She was content, or she thought she was, just smelling the affection wafting from you… but when she said it, and you said it back, Elena felt like her damned soul had ascended and been blessed by the light of the pearly gates. She’ll literally roll around her bed blushing and kicking her feet just thinking about it to this day 💞

She’s super protective— you’re so delicate, being a mortal and all, she just has to make sure you’re safe! You won’t necessarily see it, though. She’ll get you to safety before disposing of the threat. Permanently.

She goes ALL OUT for anniversaries and dates. Super cute, super romantic, super fun~! Think of all the candies and cute little gifts she picks out just for you~! And the rose petals on your bed—

Anyway! Everyday tasks get the least effort; Elena is a busy gal after all. Things to do, people to drain. Y’know. But if you complain she’ll put in some more effort then.

Elena is a flirtatious person and will flirt with a lot of people to get what she wants, but if you flirt with anyone but her she gets pissy about it lol

Of course, sweetheart! It’s hard for a vampire to die but if that’s what she has to do to be with you, she’ll figure out how to make it happen.

Elena loves just pressing kisses all over you when you cuddle, tasting your contentment, happiness, desire… enjoying the smell of your blood immensely. All of your feelings smell interesting to her. The one that makes her the hungriest, though, is fear… try to ignore the hungry look in her eye when you watch horror movies together.

It’s not a “dislike” or “dealbreaker” to Elena, but if you’re really shy and unconfident it breaks her heart a little bit… why can’t you see how great you are the way she does?

Being a vampire, Elena doesn’t need to sleep very often, if at all. Feel like I gotta say this, she does not sleep in a coffin. Although she does have a fuzzy blanket with little coffins printed on it because she thinks it’s funny.

E and Jacob relationship headcanons

E met Jacob when she went to the town he was born in on VFD business.

Jacob, at the time, was a burgeoning grifter. He played people at cards, he hustled pool, he conned people. He did odd jobs that weren’t scams too, but his strengths were in social cons. He could tell E was socially high-class, and she caught him by surprise by not being an easy mark.

For Jacob, it wasn’t love at first sight, but it was curiosity at first sight. Finding someone who could match him at cards was fun. Finding someone who could see through him was a rare novelty. And while E was good at keeping secrets (years of VFD training wasn’t for nothing), Jacob could tell she had secrets, and that intrigued him. He started to take notice of her whenever they crossed paths.

Jacob did not believe E when she said she could knock him on his ass if he bothered her. One flip was basically the last straw for him to start following her around town like a puppy dog, just trying to understand who she was and what the hell she was up to. 

From E’s side of the equation, it wasn’t romance and hearts at first sight either, but it was fun and fascination. Jacob was quick on the draw, resourceful, and had a talent for reading people and playing roles. Besides the traits that made him a good potential recruit, he proved to have a decent sense of humor and wasn’t half-bad at dancing. Over the course of E’s mission, she told Jacob about VFD, though if she hadn’t, he was interested enough by that point that he would have gone looking for himself. By the end of her time in town, they weren’t in love, but they liked working together and wanted to keep doing it.

Being rich was a bigger culture shock to Jacob than the secret organization.

As a married couple, E and J are sickeningly sweethearts, but in ways that aren’t always obvious to outsiders. He’ll joke that he conned her into liking him. She’ll joke that he’s her rebellious impulse- it was either recruit Jacob or buy a horse.

Sometimes E will joke that she rescued Jacob like a stray dog, though deep down Jacob thinks that’s not far from the truth.

Calling her E feels more affectionate for Jacob rather than less. When they met, she went by her name or a pseudonym, depending on the situation. Getting to call her ‘E’ like her fellow volunteers did was a sign that he was part of the in-group.

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

He shows his affection by acts of service. His definition of ‘I love you’ is ‘I will do things for you’. Rather than wanting you to do stuff for him he loves it if he can be of help and if you rely on him. Of course there are days when he’s worn out and needs being taken care of but mostly he’s full of energy.

B = Before (What were they like when they had a crush?)

Painfully obvious. He would ask everyone about you. Talk about you relentlessly. Try everything to be around you more.

At some points your mutual friends would go to you and beg you to go on a date with him just to make it stop.

C = Confession (What was their confession like?)

After that whole story I don’t think it needed a confession. As Rengoku was aware. He probably would have loved to properly confess but … yeah he kinda blew it.

D = Date (What was the first official date they went on?)

For the both of you the first date wasn’t an actual date. It was just one of the times he rescheduled everything to be with you on some actual lame thing like … studying or whatnot but because this man was so obvious there had already been sparks all over the place.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

I suppose you would already know before it even happens. His demeanor and way he behaves when you’re around would already have changed. I can see him trying to pull through and hoping for things to get better but once he notices that won’t happen he break up very fairly. If you already live together he’d move out. Just because his romantic feelings for you have changed doesn’t mean he doesn’t still care about you. And since it is him breakingup he’d want you to be as comfortable as possible with the change of situation. (Maybe he’d even ask mutual friends to check in on you from time to time.)

F = Fights (What would fights look like? What are things that upset them?)

It’s difficult to fight with him because a) he can be _intense_ and b) storms out and doesn’t come back.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

His Love language is (apart from acts of service) physical touch. Therefore I can’t see him talk much rather than listening to you and hugging you on the sofa or holding your hand across the table.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Rengoku yearns for physical touch. He hugs you often, at all different kinds of occasions and in so many different ways. He pulls you closer by your waist when introducing you to someone or puts his arms around you on an escalator.

I = Intimacy (What is their favorite form of intimacy? Do they have problems with it?)

Getting ready together. It is important to him that you take good care of yourself. He enjoys seeing you do skin care and taking vitamins because it’s a sign to him that everything is in order.

Rengoku also enjoys taking you out to eat for the same reason.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

Uhm… hm … difficult. I’d say he would only get jealous if there is a reason. For example that you talk about them too much or spend too much time with them (to the point you don’t have time for him anymore) or if there’s a shared past/trauma. Other than that I suppose he’s chill bc he knows and trusts you.

K = Kisses (Are they a good kisser? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

His favorite place to be kissed is the back of his neck. When you hug him from behind and place a small peck in his neck. He loves it.

His favorite place to kiss you is inner thighs *coughs* you didn’t get that from me.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

Of course. I suppose if you read this you’ve seen him with his brother. And please, those genetics really gotta be passed on.

M = Messages (How often do they text his S/O?)

Since Rengoku is usually at work he doesn’t text much. One thing you like about him is being serious about everything he does but that also includes following the no-phone rule at his workplace almost up to 100%.

I can also see him not texting you ‘good morning’ but leaving a note on the table when he leaves home. ANd definitely kissing you goodbye if you’re also awake that early.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Most of the time Rengoku comes home late. Once you confronted him about it (bc you’d like to see your boyfriend once in a while and actually have dinner with him) but when he explained it to you all your anger just poofed away. It turns out that he had been staying late in the office to help some new coworkers with their chores. It turns out that their boss is pretty pernickety so it established soon that experienced employees help the new ones.

After you made sure that said coworkers are either male or married you let it go. But you also made sure you got your message across and Rengoku promised he would try to come home earlier.

O = Opinion (Would they ask for their S/O’s opinion a lot? How important is it in terms of decisions?)

He gives a lot about your opinion since your taste in certain things is one of many traits that made him attracted to you.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

Since Rengoku is not just a saint himself but also an experienced team leader at work he has an insane amount of patience. If he should get angry or annoyed he’d stuff it down and get real quiet. Maybe he avoids you for a few hours and then goes back to normal.

Confronting him or fighting with him is probably really difficult.

Q = Quizzes (How does a bar trivia night teamed up with them look like?)

This. Man. Is. So. Motivated. But doesn’t know shit. Rengoku would enter the competition extremely eager and ready to declare war but eventually wouldn’t know how to answer anything because he genuinely doesn’t follow pop-culture.

His face would stay the same tho. The same confident and dumb-ass  crazy smile he’d put on every day.

R = Remember (How much do they remember about their S/O or their relationship in general?)

He remembers a lot. Not everything but most stuff. Especially the things you’d like him to forget immediately after they happened. Stuff that made you embarrassed? He’d remember you constantly and tease you.

Rengoku is protective. No doubt. But since he knows you can stand up for yourself he sometimes also enjoys just being you cheerleader and watching you rule.

Depending on how much effort his partner puts into it. Sometimes Rengoku would love to go full out but he learned how to dial back and how less is more. What he really enjoys are weekend trips. Getting away and just enjoying the quiet with you.

A ⇴ AFFECTION

Together you were an incredibly affectionate couple, if one of you could be seen, the other would never normally too far away, either just away from each other, or at least holding hands as a bare minimum between you.

B ⇴ BOYS

You settled in with the boys as if you had been around them all for years. Mark had told you all about all of them when you first met them, so you knew the ways to impress each one of them, with your ideas paying off perfectly in order to quickly settle you in and make you feel welcomed in amongst them all.

C ⇴ COMFORT

Mark makes sure that he always has time for you when you need him, just as you do for him. Although you try and bottle a lot up so not to stress him out even more, he can often tell when something isn’t quite right with you and refuses to leave your side until you open up to him about what’s going on.

He definitely did his fair share around the house, Mark found it unfair to leave everything to you, no matter how busy he was. Secretly, you laughed watching Mark doing jobs around the house, especially when he liked to try and do manly jobs, such as putting up shelves or painting the rules. He enjoyed showing off to you, and he enjoyed the response that he often got from you whenever he did impress you.

Your engagement was very personal for the two of you, neither you or Mark wanted to much of a fuss to be made, especially when you weren’t able to have the majority of your family members there with you to celebrate too. As much as the boys tried their best to celebrate with you too, they knew too that although it was a happy occasion for you both, you still felt homesick being together without them all.

Mark’s favourite thing about being with you was simply that he loved being with you and in your company. There was a simplicity for Mark that he absolutely enjoyed, knowing that there was one person in the world who valued him the most. He never imagined himself connecting with someone as well as he did with you, and he certainly never expected to be made to feel as special as you always made him feel.

The two of you were more than happy to go out, most of the time you did tend to go out, even if it was just for a walk or down to the shop, but equally you were quite in favour of a night in too, settling under a heap of blankets and watching a marathon of movies to distract you both from your schedules.

As Mark was so busy after the two of you got married, your honeymoon ended up being put on the shelf. He felt terrible, but as ever, you understood that work was important for Mark and that he couldn’t just cancel things to go away with you, knowing that eventually the time would come to be able to go on your honeymoon.

He made sure to tell you every day that he loved you by treating you, usually coming home with something in his hands. It could be something big, like a large bouquet of flowers, or something small like a bar of chocolate, but Mark loved to prove to you every day that he knew all of the things that you loved.

Even though he knew that now the two of you were married, he didn’t have much to worry about, Mark still got jealous from time to time. He always felt as if he could do more, spend more time with you and listen more when you wanted to talk to him, and so usually when someone was able to dedicate a bit more of their time to you, Mark felt jealous more than anything that he wasn’t able to do the same.

The one thing that Mark wanted to make clear to you the most after the two of you got married was that he was in no rush to have children. The last thing he wanted was for you to feel pressured as for most people it was the obvious next step to take, but he, and you, were much happier focusing on your careers for a little longer yet.

Being able to have a lazy day with Mark was nothing short of a luxury for you, with so many commitments it was very rare for him to have a whole day off. When he did get the chance to do nothing, he made sure to spend all of his time with you, making up for all of the mornings and evenings that he missed out on with you, and catching up on the many stories that he wasn’t able to listen to as well.

You usually woke up with Mark out of the front door, but that didn’t mean that he ignored you in the mornings. Instead, you often woke up to see a note from Mark beside you on the bed wishing you a good day, and if you were lucky, lunch packed on the side for you as Mark made sure to make enough for two.

Every night you made sure to wait up for him, which Mark was very grateful for. If you were honest, you just struggled to fall asleep without him home, wanting to sleep knowing that he was at home and safe.

Mark was obsessed with how accepting you were, very few people could deal with the demands of his career, and yet you took it all in your stride, understanding that it was just a part of the parcel of being able to be with Mark.

Although these moments were rare, Mark loved being able to be with you at home, doing absolutely anything. At times, home felt like a foreign place to him, more than anything he wished to be at home sometimes, and so when he was finally able to be there, and with you too, he felt incredibly lucky indeed.

He liked to make sure that you were really alright with how often he worked quite a lot of the time, although you encouraged him to go, Mark never wanted you to feel like you had to say it or feel mad when saying it too.

Anniversaries were a big deal to Mark, and he made sure to celebrate every single one with you, readjusting his schedule accordingly. You loved it, mainly because you knew your anniversary was the one day in the year when you knew that you were going to have Mark with you, and not have to worry about him rushing off.

Quite often if the two of you had a falling out there would be silence between the two of you for a while as you calmed yourselves down. Out of you both, Mark tended to be the one to make the first move and apologise for what had gone out, struggling to deal with the awkward silence a lot worse than you were able to.

Mark’s biggest tip for making your marriage work was ensuring that you never kept secrets, when his schedule was packed, he never lied to you about it, that way you were able to take it in and be much more understanding too.

You often visited Mark and the others when they were busy working, if you had some free time Mark would often drag you along with him, knowing that it was probably going to be the only chance he got to spend time with you.

omg hi yes!! i’ve never gotten an ask like this, i don’t think, and my hcs usually develop during stories so let’s see if i can do it :p

- soulmates in every universe, if not romantic then definitely platonic. they’ll find their way to each other, always.

- james has a crooked nose that sirius loves kissing. he’s very possessive about it, actually

- j might be generally a bit thick bc of the whole spoiled-only-child thing but he’s particularly attuned to sirius’ moods and emotions. i can imagine him writing long ass letters to his parents in the first few years whenever something tripped him up (which was, ykno, everything considering how sheltered he was) to so for help and sirius featured a lot in this (mum, how do i help with nightmares? mum, he doesn’t like treacle tart what do i doooooo, mum he wasn’t allowed to fly as a kid this is a travesty, mum he’s sad a lot and chai doesn’t always help, mum i don’t know how to make him smile etc etc)

- this one’s controversial, i think, but i love thinking of sirius as modelling james’ behaviour. we know he grew up being fed violent hatred + a superiority complex the size of Everest yeah? fully believe his process of unlearning started with james (the first time he used the word mudblood, our boy probably clutched his pearls, scandalised, ‘what are you doing u can’t say that!!’ so sirius started turning to j as a barometer for how to act, sometimes, bc he realised he couldn’t trust his family (and by extension, his own) behaviour. this isn’t instant, mind, but a gradual, time & labor intensive process and even after he grew out of it, i think sirius had this subconscious tendency to look for james’ approval.

- i hate the whole ‘james matured for a girl’ arc so my take on it is that his ‘growth’ came from a combination of ailing, elderly parents + rising war tensions + most importantly, sirius. end of 5th year he got a first hand view into the treatment his best mate received by his family and that horror made him want to be the best he could for sirius. i’ve always seen james as a protector and a caregiver, someone who takes people under his wing & looks after them, and i don’t think it was ever more obvious than around sirius. post 5th year, he gained a focus that he lacked before and would spend a lot of time just picking up on skills that could help him be better. duelling, defence, first aid, knitting, cooking etc etc. anything to feel useful.

- the shift from friendship to romantic would be tricky & probably require outside intervention or a lot of time, i think. they were already so close as friends that it just never occurs to them to take it any further ykno? their hearts & souls are intertwined, they’re super physically affectionate, and they’re already each other’s no. 1. so someone either has to bring it to their attention, they take yeaaaaars to realise ‘huh. this isn’t how i feel towards others’ or they live a wonderfully fulfilling qpp life together.

- i’ve talked about this before but physical!!! affection!!! and not just in terms of like, kisses or hugs but touch. they’re always in contact in some way. it’s comforting, safe. arms around waists, shoulders, hips/chin resting on the other, leg slung across, hand on a back or leg. you get it right? it’s subconscious, it’s natural, and they don’t even realise they’re doing it unless someone points it out

- sunshine and sunshine protector!!!! james was loud and brash and took all the space in a room. he was also sensitive bc he’s not told no often so when it has to be done, u need to do it in a certain way so he doesn’t internalise it as a personal failing and shut down. sirius is the best one to do it bc he can stand up to james w/o being intimidated + realise that the carrot works better than the stick w him. there’s a very real risk of his light fading out. at the same time, this makes sirius very protective of him. it’s why i wrote shovel talk. even in a universe where lily & sirius were friends, i think he’ll have a Talk with her to confirm her intentions. sirius is not willing to take chances with his james.

- pet names! james called sirius darling and my love and honey and sweetheart because he’s an old soul in a young body. sirius called james love (and sometime babe/baby). their go to for each other was ‘si’ and ‘jamie’ respectively, which was a term of affection on its own bc only they used it, no one else.

- james has *always* been attracted to sirius; he just didn’t realise it bc he thought this was how everyone felt towards sirius. ‘oh yeah he’s so ethereally beautiful, it’s just like, a fact of life and everyone knows it’ and thinks the random boners are normal until one day he realised that, no, that’s not actually the norm & he’s just a simp who thinks everything sirius does is perfect (think chin in hand, heart eyes, sighing)

Probably took Zack awhile to realize he was into men. It was when he met you, things started to change.

He realize that he would blush when you were around and often wanted to be around you. Zack thought it was admiration at first, and then it clicked to him that they were feelings

He would struggle so hard with asking you out, but he would be very obvious with showing his feelings before you guys get together.

You would have to be the one to ask him out

Zack would be nervous with PDA since he isn’t exactly comfortable with that just yet, but if it’s at a place like J High, he’s fine with being open.

When people are homophobic, he’s sensitive to it, but will just flip the person off and walk away. He will try to not care.

Vasco

Vasco definitely knew he was into men, but he wasn’t really into relationships until he met you

Vasco knew he had feelings for you, but you would have to be the one to ask him out or Jace would have to pressure him to do so bc Vasco would’ve ignored his feelings and focus on other things like fighting

Vasco is not the most affectionate person (it just doesn’t come to him), but he is not scared to hold your hand in public or hug you.

He’s a tough guy so homophobia won’t get to him, but if it makes you mad or sad, he will not hesitate to yell back and have an issue with the homophobe

Vasco is out to everyone. Vasco’s not scared at all

Vin Jin

He knew he liked men, but often denied it.

And when he caught feelings for you, he also denied that too. Just some internalized homophobia.

But eventually with a lot of courage and suport from Mary, he confesses to you first.

Vin Jin is also on the same boat as Zack, he’s not out to everyone, but he wouldn’t mind holding your hand if it meant nobody were looking.

Vin Jin’s more on the sensitive side, but he’ll just yell back if someone’s being homophobic.

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

Draco is incredibly affectionate, but he’ll show it differently depending on context. In general, his affection comes in just wanting to be around you—he craves closeness with you, even if he’s not touching you.

Touching you is the best, though. He’s a fan of small bits of PDA: when you’re out together, he’s always holding your hand, or touching your arm or the small of your back or maybe – on occasion – your ass. (Just little grazes that make his eyes shine and your stomach flip.) Probably some little kisses here and there, if you have a moment alone. If he sees another guy looking at you, he'll probably make out with you in public.

But there are also moments where the both of you think PDA isn’t appropriate. Then it’s all about soft looks and smiles, finding ways to bring you into a conversation, things like that. Just showing you that you’re on his mind even if he can’t hold you like he’d like to.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

Let's be honest, you guys didn't really start on good terms. You guys met at the train, the both of you are pure-blooded Slytherins, and when everyone thought you guys would immediately get along you just had to prove them wrong. Both of you are competitive, always trying to be better than the other.

The moment the two of you realized your feelings for each other was in 4th year, earning sighs of relief from the Slytherin gang.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Does Draco like to cuddle? Yes yes absolutely yes. This man loves cuddling, especially after a long day. He loves to curl up with you on his bed and hold you close, maybe with your head tucked under his chin. He’ll give you soft kisses while he holds you, on your temple or your cheek or your neck and they’re not even intended to steer things toward a make-out or sex, unless you decide to take it there. (Sometimes he decides but if he does it’s uh pretty obvious.)

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down?)

DEFINITELY. Draco is ready to settle down when it comes to you. He loves you so much that he already wants to marry you, you had to remind him that the both of you are still at school tho.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

So here’s the thing about Draco. He's fallen for you, HARD. The problem is that, if he’s the one initiating a break-up, it hits him hard. He would never even think about ending things with you. He loves you too much for that. Although sometimes he worries that you might leave him for someone else, you reassure him that it will never happen.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

Like I've stated before, he loves you so much that he wants to marry you already. He never thought there'd be a day that he'd think about stuff like this and yet here we are. Is he nervous about it tho? Honestly, yes. Who doesn't? But the thing is, whenever he takes a look at you all the worries go away and just knows he's ready.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

This softy! is so gentle!! The biggest exception is if he sees you after a longer separation – this might be a summer break but it also might just be something like one of you having A LOT of homework that keeps you from being with each other when he rather be hanging out together – he needs to be all over you and he might be rougher, then—rougher hugs, kisses, everything.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Draco is a frequent and enthusiastic hugger. Hugs from Draco are him pulling you close and burying his face in your neck and luxuriating in the smell of you. Hugs from Draco are him nudging his forehead against yours and maybe bumping your nose while he leans in to give you a kiss.

Hugs from Draco are usually your first cue if something’s wrong, too—you’ll get to his dorm and find him sitting on the bed and he’ll pull you into his arms and you’ll feel in the way he holds you that he had a really shit day.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

Like when he knows that he wants to settle down with you, Draco will say, “I love you,” pretty much as soon as he knows. He’s bursting with it and he’s gotta get it out. He’ll be a bit disappointed if you’re not ready to say it back, but he doesn’t take it personally because he knows he kinda falls hard and fast.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

This man gets jealous. It's not that he doesn't trust you, he just doesn't trust other guys. If a guy looks at you for too long, you can count on Draco giving them a death glare. Does he maybe give you a particularly emphatic kiss after someone tries to flirt with you? Perhaps, but it’s more because he revels in the fact that he gets to do that when no one else does.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

Draco kisses your lips like he has nowhere else like he needs to be. Slow, deep kisses all about savoring the taste of you, the feeling of you close to him.

He kisses your neck playfully, teeth nipping over your skin and scattering the occasional hickey because he can’t resist.

He kisses your breasts, your stomach, your thighs when he’s ravenous for you, when he’s desperate to wind you up.

And where does Draco want to be kissed? Obviously he loves when you have your mouth on his because then he can be tasting you, too, but oh, does he love this one spot on his neck right below his jaw. You kiss and suck there and he downright whimpers if he wasn’t expecting it (and sometimes even if he was expecting it).

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

Draco Malfoy doesn't really have experience on taking care of children— he's more of a picking on children type of guy. So when you and Draco spent one summer break together and you were asked to babysit your niece, Draco was worried. He’s a bit awkward at first but after seeing how you interact with them, the tension would start to melt away and he relaxed around them.

After watching you interact with babies, he would start to imagine having a baby with you and he realizes how much he wants kids with you.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Mornings are spent with each other in his dorm. The both of you just enjoying your time with each other before you get ready for the day. It was these mornings together that reminded him of the love the two of you have for each other and how important you are in his life.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Nights are often spent cuddling and catching each other up on their days. Basically quality time is the primary love language of most evenings (combined as always with touch because again—super cuddly man). Then probably once a week you’ll go out either on a date or to hang with friends.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

It took some time for him to open up. He loves you and trusts you very much but he was scared of how you'd react. He's not really used to all the "talking about his feelings" type of thing since he didn't really grow up in a homey environment but over time, he started telling you things and he felt better and lucky to have you in his life.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

He does have a temper but not with you. He’s very patient and calm when it comes to you. He never wants to upset and anger you. When you two would fight, he felt like it was all his fault and he would try to make it up to you only for you to apologize too and remind him that it wasn’t all his fault.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

Remembering little details that you share with him is definitely one of the ways that he shows interest in you at first. But while he makes a particular point of it at first, he is still quite good at it in general.

His favorite moment was your first kiss. It was the happiest he ever felt, and he would always remember the perfection of that moment

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

He is super protective. Whenever the two of you go out, he doesn't take his eyes off of you just because he doesn't want anything to happen to you.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

Oh he would DEFINITELY spoil the sht out of you. He would definitely put a lot of thought into gifts and anniversaries since he's really rich. Sometimes, he would randomly show up in your dorm with a gift in hand — claiming that it's a gift for you just because he wants to give you one and although you appreciate the gesture, you had to tell him to not waste his money on stuff. Of course he promised to stop buying things for you but he never did and continued to shower you with gifts.

Walks with your hand in his. Oh and cuddling you of course.

He LOVES to show you off. He's so proud of your accomplishments and believes that you'll achieve your dream one day.

He’s terrified of losing you, knowing that he would never be whole again if he lost you. He couldn’t even bear the thought of a life without you.

Draco is— well how do I even say this. Draco can be mean at most times but the thing is, in his eyes you're an exception. There was this one time when he was having a bad day and Theo was aking him something and he just glared at Theo but when you came in and asked the same question, he answered you patiently, his eyes softening, leaving Theo to have his jaw dropped.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

He HATES ferrets and I don't even have to explain why. There was this one time where Blaise showed him a ferret and he just ran away from the both of you.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habit of theirs?)

Draco is absolutely that partner who ends up encroaching more and more on your space over the course of the night. And you want to find it cute, you do, because it’s really about him trying to cuddle with you but also it means you frequently wake up for the morning and he has two thirds of the bed to himself. You’re alright with it though because once he gets up, you’re able to spread out for a little bit. (And maybe roll over into the spot where he was sleeping so you can doze with the smell of him still lingering.)

Dates with Timothee are very very comforting and new at the same time. He LOVES getting out of the house and going to a city where shops are lining every corner and small cafes with coffee to die for. But he also loves to cook you dinner and rehash your days. He’s quite a domestic person.

B eauty - What do they admire about their s/o? What do they think is beautiful about them?

Timothee finds all of you attractive. But his favorite thing to do is whenever you’re reading a book or the two of you are watching TV, and you’re at one end of the couch and he’s at the other end, he loves to run his hands up and down your legs while they rest in his lap. Drumming his fingers against your knees is like a calming thing

C omfort - How would they help their s/o when they feel down/have a panic attack etc.?

He doesn’t talk, at all. He’s an incredibly patient boyfriend who will sit there with you and sync your breathing while hugging you. He will listen for hours and hours to you talk about it. And if not, he makes tea for you and offers cuddles and comfortable silences. I mean, either way he always makes tea.

D reams - How do they picture their future with their s/o?

He would love a family with you, he knows you’d be an incredible parent to his children. But he’s content being young, having new experiences and getting to be spontaneous. If he had to think about it, he’d like one or two children and maybe a dog. Living in a cozy but spacious home, of course there’s a pool in the back.

E qual - Are they the dominant one in the relationship, or rather passive?

well, when he’s in the mood, jealous/mad he definitely will be dominant (and especially in bed) but he’s in no way so dominant that you will feel like his maid or a child. But he really doesn’t want to consider your relationship to be that way. Both of you are just you and treat each other equally. 

F ight - Would they be easy to forgive their s/o? How are they fighting?

He gets cold when he’s fighting with you. Timothee’s a bit like a younger sibling while fighting, he knows how to push your buttons and won’t stop until he see’s a reaction. SO GRATEFUL. He spoils like no other. If you point out that you like a pair of earrings, they’re yours (it doesn’t matter that they’re pure diamonds) you mentioned that you want to see Italy? Tickets booked. And a great thing about him, on top of being a good listener is that he has a great eye. And he picks up on things and is quick to notice them. Which is a big reason he’s so successful in acting. Even if it’s something as simple as washing the dishes so he can relax, to something as kind as making him your very own fan gift.. he melts every time.

Mmm, he certainly tries not to but everyone keeps secrets. There are things that both of you prefer to keep private but he wouldn’t keep something like him kissing another woman a secret.

You’ve inspired him and fueled him to become a stronger actor even if you’re not one yourself. Some of your advice is seriously helpful, and some are unhelpful but hilarious. No matter what you will tell him, he knows you’re waiting at home or even at his set with open arms, waiting for him to win an award and fangirl online to other Timmy fans. It makes him blush and cause a billion butterflies to erupt in his stomach.

J ealousy - Do they get jealous easily? How do they deal with it?

He trusts you 100% that you would never leave him, and he doesn’t want to be one of those boyfriends who restricts their partner. But there’s a part of him that’s incredibly insecure and is convinced you can do better. There are some parts that WANT you to leave him and do better. He would never ever show it in public, but you can read him well. You’ll put a hand on his bouncing knee and kiss his jaw.

K iss - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like? 

He knows he’s a damn good kisser as well as charmer. You had been on a couple of dates with him, on one you mentioned that it was on your bucket list to be kissed in the rain. He made sure to schedule a date when there would be rain and he took you on a picnic. Towards the end, it had started to pour and you were trying to run back to the car but he grabbed your face and kissed you so hard but so passionately. His curls were dripping and the sandwiches were ruined but the feeling was incredible.

Rightttt after that kiss, in the car you were drying off and laughing with him while the radio was on in the background. The car was on but he wasn’t driving. Instead, he turned to you and told you he was in love with you. Both of you had said “love you” but never “i’m in love with you”

He’s on the fence about babies but he knows for certain that he wants to marry you. You know that scene in The Office where Jim shows the engagement ring for Pam and is like “I got it 3 weeks into dating”? That’s Timmy. 

He brings you to a premire of one of his movies and at the end when all the credit’s are rolling, it says “y/n will you marry me?” and when you turn back around, Timmy is on one knee and Armie is most likely behind him crying his eyes out.

“Babe” “Baby” “Mon cherie” When you two are married, he’ll join you in the kitchen while cooking dinner and call you “Mrs Chalamet” before kissing your shoulder and beginning to chop veggies. It’s just incredibly domestic

so so so obvious and so in love. He shows you off as much as possible and talks about you on talk shows until he’s sure that the audience is annoyed and SNL mocks him (and even then, he’ll continue)

he brags but he does know when to dial it back for your own privacy and humility. BUT that doesn’t mean he won’t hold your hand in public, or banter with you on a twitter thread even if you both are right next to each other on the couch playing footsie

He has a great eye and is quick to pick up on things. It’s almost as if he has certain senses and can tell when you’re having a bad day or upset. He just knows. It’s incredible. He’ll run you a bath and order cake to indulge yourself in before you even get home.

The most sickley, fluffy, romantic, boyfriend that it makes me sick. Timothee would dye his hair rainbow and cut of his toes if it meant you would smile. On a more romantic note, he pulls out all the stops but it’s a bit more subtle?? Like he is very romantic but it’s not overwhelming. There’s no string quartet and private dining room but there will be jazz and dancing at midnight or a homemade “restaurant” with Timothee as a one man (messy) staff but it’s the best thing you could have ever come home to

He’s your head cheerleader and the most selfless human ever. Will cheer for you until his voice goes mute and even then, he’s the one clapping the loudest and crying the most.

both! Timothee is like a dog in some ways. He’s energetic and needs new things, to be outside, to be social. But he craves hugs and cuddling, he adores late night talks with you or watching you make him breakfast while he scrolls through Instagram. Like I said, a very domestic guy.

He know’s you like the back of his hand and he could spot you with his eyes closed and only by feeling your face. He knows your habits, and the food you hate, your terrible cooking skills, and the kind of dad jokes you tell, the anxiety ticks, and what shows you’ll watch over and over again.

summary: who would have known stealing a necklace together would be what finally drove jesper to confess his love?

Though he hadn’t ever really given much thought to the nature of your relationship, Jesper always knew one thing and one thing only: he loved you. What he didn't know, however, was that he was so obvious about it that every single one of his friends except for you had realize. Sure, he knew that he was a bit more touchy than what people considered normal, and he knew you joked around in a way that could be interpreted as more than just friendship, but he told himself they'd think that was just his personality.

He had always thought the didn't notice how his eyes would search for you in a crowd before they searched for everything else, how his breath would get caught up in his throat whenever you kissed his cheek or hugged him, or how the only person able to keep him still when he was feeling a restless rush of energy and wanted to pace when he couldn’t. Because, after all, you were just friends and everyone could see that… right?

“How did last night go? Won any life changing bets?” he heard your voice before he saw you, and a soft smile immediately broke out on his face, earning him a knowing look from Nina.

“Unfortunately not, angel. Your castle will have to wait.” he answered as he heard the creaking of the stairs you were coming down from muffle your laugh. It was an inside joke you two had, he once got drunk and told you that if he ever won big on a gambling night, he would use the money to build you a castle with rooms for all the crows.

“Next time.” you encouraged while sneaking up behind him and kissing his left cheek. He felt your lips on his cheek and his mind immediately started to race again with the same thoughts it had been before you’d come down the stairs. He started imagining you kissing his cheek in bed as soon as you woke up and the sun was shining on his face and … jesus christ, was he blushing? get it together, he thought. “Can you go out in town with me today? I saw a necklace on the way here last night after the job and I wanna see if it’s still there to buy it.” you asked, successfully breaking him out of his thoughts.

“You are going to buy a necklace?” Matthias asked, a surprised emphasis on ‘buy’, to which you responded with a fake offended gasp.

“You wound me.” you deadpanned, earning an eye roll from the Fjerdan. “So, will you come?” you asked Jesper again.

“Yeah, can’t let the city go too long without seeing this face.” he answered your question, gesturing to his face with a wave of his hand.

“They’d start to miss it.” you confirmed with a nod and a wink before going back up to your room to get ready for the day, leaving him with a stupid grin playing at his lips.

“And then Nina made me swear not to tell anyone.” you finished telling him the story as Jesper and you walked the streets of Ketterdam, you were making big gestures with your hands as you talked and he was watching you with a soft smile on his face.

“You’re telling me, though.” he said, looking at you with an amused look.

“You don’t count.” you shrugged, bumping your shoulders together as you continued walking. “Ok, I'll distract the rich owner’s daughter who works at the front desk and you’ll snatch the necklace. Got it?” you asked as you reached the shop that you’d seen the necklace in.

“Why are you distracting the daughter?” he questioned, and you couldn’t tell if the offended look on his face was real or not.

“Because I'm more charming than you.” you patted his cheek and started to walk into the store.

“Rude!” he called after you, waiting outside until you’d distracted the girl working at the front.

He saw as you leaned against the counter with a smirk on your face, touching the girl’s hands and complimenting her jewelry, your voice seductive and your words smooth. He saw the girl’s cheeks turn pink and completely understood the feeling - he’d blushed thanks to you just hours prior to now.

Stealing the piece of jewelry was easy and you were both skipping down the street while laughing in no time, he’d even managed to steal a few rings for himself and some earrings he thought would look great on Nina because they ‘matched her eyes’. You had your arm hooked around his while you walked while leaning your head against his shoulder, when he looked at you he felt all his insides melt and he knew that If anyone could see the look he was giving you, he’d never hear the end of it.

“Can you help me put it on?” you asked, once you’d already reached the Slat and gone up to your room to relax before it started to get crowded downstairs and you couldn’t catch a moment of silence.

“Of course.” he answered, taking the necklace from your outstretched hand and asking you to hold your hair up. He hooked it around your neck and he swears he saw goosebumps erupt on your skin as the tips of his fingers brushed against it. He didn’t know if he was imagining it, but what he did know was that it was the first all day in which he’d felt like he had the upper hand in your dynamic. He wasn’t the nervous one, he wasn’t the blushing one and he wasn’t the one whose mind was running a thousand miles an hour - and he planned on using that to his advantage. He released the piece of jewelry that was now safely placed around your neck, and he traced his fingers down to your shoulders and back up to the sides of your neck again, his touch soft and delicate. He felt your skin erupt in goosebumps again under his touch, and smirked. “Am I making you nervous, darling?” he asked, as you turned around to face him.

“You wish.” you barely whispered, and his smirk only grew.

“I do, actually.” he nodded, knowing he had caught you off guard with his response.

You watched his right hand as it made its way up your shoulders until it reached the side of your face. He cupped your cheek and softly moved his thumb up and down your skin which made you turn your head slightly to the side, leaning into his touch. You looked up at him and in your eyes he saw so many emotions that he struggled to pick one to try and figure out. However, there was one thing he knew, and it was that he’d seen that look in the mirror enough times every time he caught himself thinking about you - which was more than he cared to admit.

“Jesper-” you started, but he cut your words short, leaning in and urgently pressing his lips against yours. It was a kiss filled with emotion and unspoken feelings, both of you trying to say everything you had been keeping in for so long. His other hand came up to cup your free cheek, and your hands grabbed the front of his shirt, bringing him closer to you by a pull of it.

“I love you.” he spoke against your lips once you both pulled away - foreheads pressed together and eyes still closed, afraid of even the smallest of movements disrupting the peace you were both feeling.

“About damn time.” you chuckled and he rolled his eyes, pulling away.

“You know, if i hadn't said anything you wouldn’t have either, so i’d be a bit nicer to me if i were-” much like he had done just minutes before, you cut him off by hooking your hands around his neck and pulling him in.

“Shut up.” you said, and he felt your smile against his lips.

“Well, if you ask so nicely.”

- scaramouche isn't super knowledgeable about relationships, so he'll just sort of tentatively ask what you want to do and go along with it (though he might act like it's a stupid idea the whole time). really he doesn't care what he spends his free time on as long as you're a part of it.

B-Beauty (what do they admire about their s/o? what do they think is beautiful about them?)

- well first of all, he admires the courage you've got to have to be with him in the first place. other than that, he also loves your smile (but you won't hear him tell you that out loud, unless you're not really asleep when he thinks you are)

C-Comfort (how would they help their s/o when they feel down/have a panic attack etc.?)

- another thing he's alien to. at first just starts telling you to calm down and is pretty harsh about it. when he realizes this isn't working, he'll reluctantly take you into his arms and start awkwardly patting your head. it's funny how awkward it is and you end up laughing at him about it, which makes him annoyed, but at least now you feel better.

D-Dreams (how do they picture the future with their s/o?)

- scaramouche... either wants you to be by his side as he conquers everything and shows the world just how strong he is, or he wants to do it alone. though it would be much better if you were with him and it makes him sad to think about you not being there in the end.

- surprisingly passive, actually. he doesn't really know what he's doing so he lets you make most of the decisions about dates and spending time together. other than that though, he likes to drag you around to do whatever he wants.

- what's fun? on a day off, scaramouche will wander around and ponder his own existence. you'll have to take him to a market or a park or something so he can actually experience things first - once you do, you'll find he enjoys being alone with you somewhere quiet, where he doesn't have to listen to other people.

- doesn't show it, but is definitely grateful, though he also doesn't know just how much of a hassle he can be. scaramouche just sort of assumed love was supposed to be unconditional... but he can tell when he's crossed a line, and he's grateful for you sticking by him despite everything.

- obviously the one big secret is how he came into being in the first place, but once he trusts you enough to tell you about his being a puppet and a test, he's in all the way. he hides little things from you before that but once he's told you, you're in it with him forever whether you like it or not, and that means he doesn't keep anything else from you.

- he's a lot more tolerable around you! you've been approached by fatui officers asking you "how do you do it?" and saying things like "thank you so much i totally thought i was gonna be yelled at today!" somehow you cool off his temper a bit.

- JEALOUS JEALOUS JEALOUS man. he gets jealous so so easily and WILL confront you about it. after a while and once he knows he can trust you he gets jealous less frequently, because he knows you're with him for the long run.

- bad kisser at first because he's probably never been in love before. he gets the hang of it quickly though! your first kiss was because he had to shut you up and he couldn't figure out another way how so he just kissed you. you yelled at him after that.

- scaramouche confesses on purpose but in a really weird way. he plans it and everything - he takes you out to see the sunset and brings food (almost like a picnic) but then once he gets to the actual confession it's just like "how dare you do this to me? i stay awake at night thinking of you and somehow you're the most tolerable person i've ever met. childe had the audacity to call it love and to laugh at me so he got what he deserved. if you don't feel the same way i'll punch you too." but he doesn't end up having to punch you, which you're both very glad about.

M-Mornings (what’s it like waking up with them? do they sleep late or wake up before the sun rises?)

- he didn't have a reason to sleep in late until he started sleeping next to you. now he's stuck in his ridiculous sleep schedule so he always wakes up before you. but hey! bonus! now he gets to look at you while you sleep, which for some reason makes him extremely flustered (which is really cute to wake up to).

- just calls you your name 🧍

- when he discovered he was in love he got angry at you. then he realized it wasn't your fault, and, actually, this wasn't such a bad thing. man were you confused though. for a solid week he just yelled at you for no reason. childe guessed correctly when he realized scaramouche's more-unusual-than-usual behavior, but he had the decency to hold his tongue around you.

P-PDA (how are they with PDA? is it fun to them or are they more reserved with their affection?)

- hates pda. will hold your hand and that's it if you try to kiss him in public his face will scrunch up and his ears will pull back instinctively. then he'll avoid you for the rest of the day.

Q-Quirk (some random thing they do when they’re with you for no reason in particular)

- gently taps you at random moments, almost as if he's trying to remind himself that you're here with him.

- scaramouche tries to be romantic? he's doing his best. he tries all the gooey stuff to make you happy like buying you chocolate and giving you stuffed animals but in reality he has little to no tolerance for this kind of thing and you have to reassure him you love him, not the classic romantic things he forces himself to do. after that he stops, which is a huge relief.

S-Support (are they helping their s/o achieve their goals do they believe in them?)

- he's more focused on his own goals and climbing the fatui ladder, but he's also very invested in anything you're attempting to do. wholeheartedly believes in you, whether he outwardly expresses it or not.

T-Thrill (do they need to try out new things to spice out your relationship or do they prefer certain routine?)

- scaramouche likes the security of his routine and the place your relationship is at. he gets embarrassed at pretty much any new milestone and needs some time to get to them, and he gets cranky when things change suddenly, so uh. no, he likes it better the way it is with little to no changes.

- not very empathetic, but is very understanding. scaramouche lacks the ability to feel how you're feeling (is it because he isn't quite human?), but he does understand how you work and function, and the best ways to treat you depending on your mood.

- since you're so important to him, you're about number two on his list of priorities, maybe almost tied with his work in the fatui. he can't stand people, but you've wormed your way into his heart, so he's not letting you go anytime soon.

- any time you give him affection he's a little startled at first, but he comes to love it and eventually will ask you for hugs.
