Thinking about how if Shermy Pines. And like, if he is the baby, he’d be born in the 1970s and be 40 by 2012 and he’s already a grandad. He had to be a teen dad in the 80s (after a severe economic recession) and then his kid ended up being a teen parent by 1999 (Which is 8 years before ANOTHER SEVERE ECONOMIC RECESSION LOL)

Also he was born into a pretty broken family, probably rarely if ever saw his brothers. Do you think he ever saw Stanley before he had to start pretending to be Ford? Do you think Ford visited from college??? Because he didn’t seem confident facing his father until he made millions, so like???

And, like, do you think Filbrick and Caryn changed as parents by the time they raised Shermy? Because it seems like a trend that as parents get older they mellow out a bit, so Shermy probably has a completely different experience with their parents then Stan and Ford, and talking to them is just “is this seriously the same parents???” (Imagine the silent resentment that’d cause 😭😭😭)

Personally I headcannon that Shermy had a daughter (Mabel and Dipper’s mom) and not a son like it says on the wiki because c’mon. Can he just have a daughter. Idk why this is important to me but… c’mon. Can he just have a daughter. It just feels right to me.

Despite how much I suffered making my last isat au Aris sprite redraw, I decided to do it again and once again went through hell doing it. There’s like a billion mistakes in this (such as her having the wrong arm rip) but at the end of the day I’m still happy with how it turned out :]

#keese draws #oc #oc art #eternal gales #isat #in stars and time #sorry for main tagging feel free to excecute me if you want or whatever #grips sink cringe is dead cringe is dead cringe is dead #anyways this is a very fuzzy and vague au as I don’t rly feel comfortable going off too hard with this one #this is pretty much entirely because I know I’d have to fuck around with the worldbuilding a decent amount and I don’t rly wanna do that #Isat’s worldbuilding is one of my favorite parts of isat so I don’t wanna fuck it up yknow?#I might do some other sprite redraws once I stop thinking too hard abt aris and tali #for context tali is the king aka complicated design that makes me wanna cry especially since I made it worse by changing her imagery #instead of having tears as a thing she has like. fracturing if that makes sense?#it’s supposed to be a nod to her ‘cracked’ eye in canon #she also has threads coming from her limbs instead of long hair for similar reasons #also she doesn’t have straight hair so yknow #but yeah for additional context aris and tali are half sisters and they make me go insane #in this au the idea would be that when their grandparents divorced when the two were little tali and their grandma left the island #aris wouldn’t leave until five or so years later when she was around 12 #at which point the island disappeared and all that #the two have mostly completely forgotten about eachother but there still is familiarity between them #tali isn’t any less of a piece of shit than the king in this au tho #aris for a brief moment almost remembers who tali is during act 3 but she dies before she can fully grasp it #which almost hurts more to her despite not even knowing what she was trying to recall #during act 5 her inner sadness fight is against the hazy image of a very young tali 👍#just tiny 5 year old tali using the voices of the others to scream at aris that she’s been nothing but a burden to them all #and that she’s done nothing but hurt them in her selfish attempts to fix a problem that she refuses to admit she caused #and that time and time again she’s lied that she’s doing her best to protect them and that she’s failed all of them #it’s a mix of current guilt and her hazy but longstanding guilt towards tali

Both love and hate the absolute DELUGE of ink a fresh sharpie unleashes onto the paper the instant it makes contact…. I have complicated feelings towards the deluge lmao

#pepper words #it might not even only be fresh sharpies idk. I don’t remember… it might always be a deluge #until it starts to die #I use to ONLY use sharpies to draw traditionally for like the longest time. but then I got fancy pens and shit.#that dont piss out all there ink instantly #it’s kinda fun tho.. like it forces you to draw faster. and press lighter. and just. be looser w ur lines #and even when ur being loose it’s STILL making thick as hell lines. but. that’s also kinda interesting..?#idk. it’s kinda fun using them again sometimes. I feel like it’s kinda freeing. u just have to accept what the sharpie puts out #u can only control it so much. u have to let go of that urge for perfection and take what u get #I feel like currently I really struggle w. liking my sketches more than my lines. and trying to replicate all my sketchwork #into my linework… but lines are not sketches!!! so it leads to linework I don’t like either cuz it’s all scratchy and weird #i feel like. 1 I need to learn. to let some pictures just be sketches. like if I like the look of my sketch and wanna keep that loose #conceptual sorta look. to just. not line it. not try to replicate a sketch in lines #and 2! to embrace smoothness in my linework more… to accept my lines. not looking exactly like my sketch #and to not go over every single sketch stroke in ink to try and achieve that.. cuz it doesn’t work!!!!!#and.. uhhh. yeah! So this morning I was minding my business and watching instagram reels while I waited for my ADHD meds to kick in and all of a sudden I saw this REALLY fantastic little art animation to that Mama's Boy song depicting a trans man (made by @ unluckyy.dog on insta). It was really evocative, but I had this nagging suspicion that the guy looked super familiar, so I opened the description to be BLASTED by the information that this was in fact an animation depicting Aaron from the Aphmau minecraft roleplays (the tag was for MyStreet specifically). Cue memories FLOODING back to me, and I went a bit nuts and read the wiki and tried my very best to brush up on the original Minecraft Diaries series. Turns out it's not really very well documented (the synopsis on the wiki skips a lot of relevant info and has a habit of just. Assuming you know who a character is and why they're there) so I'm sorta doing my best to string the events together with mostly memory.

I didn't really think today I would be designing my headcanons for characters from fucking MCD in 2024 as an adult, but honestly there's a lot of really cool ideas and moments in those videos, and these characters have just REALLY stuck with me over the years, and I want to give them a bit of tribute for how much they mattered to me as a kid.

woooo my niece took 5 of my 13 lego sets, one of which was one of the three larger ones, so that's one huge box out of the way and i'm just glad she wanted them because like they ARE twenty years old and they look fine ofc but sometimes kids aren't gonna want stuff that isn't new and shiny ya know, but she did seem to want everything which would've been fine with me but i knew there was no way they would take all that with them, and at least i still have stuff of my own to sell, plus should get at least a cut of my brother's stuff for doing the inventory and putting together that stuff that wasn't already done

#i mentioned the hp sets and how they had been pretty much left together and he was like '....i had harry potter sets?'#which once he saw them he did think they were familiar which was some of my feeling with mine #like oh YEAH i do remember these i just didn't remember having so many #i mean between 13 sets it's really like 3 categories so i would've played with like the whole ice palace and its related sets #i do just wonder how it'll be at the store like everything is pretty much in fine shape #and probably there are people who want older stuff that's rarer and whatever now #BUT then there might be more of a demand for newer stuff at a better price or whatever idk #anyway 6 sets left in the upstairs and then the bionicles and statue of liberty are still in the attic #i'm still not convinced there couldn't be another box somewhere bc idk how to explain the few sets #that are missing so much that i can't actually do them bc even if we had gotten rid of some why would we not include the huge base or w/e #anyway we'll see! but i'm getting closer! and i did a little one this morning #that seemed to be complete it didn't list some of the pieces as extras but based on the instructions i figure they have to be #so i don't really need them like i'll include them if i find them and they're not needed for something else but yeah #anyway i can go back to fic though these first two at least are short so i may be going back to another one tomorrow #can't wait to have my room back though fr like #it is not the only thing making it feel messy because i have newer jewelry and clothes and stuff that i just have to organize and put away #but man the jewelry situation is just. it's not even having so many pieces it's like big earrings that take up a lot of space or whatever #so i just have not wanted to deal with it but it's kinda out of hand #but i can really think about that after this particular project is done #and do puzzles again oh my god i have 3 puzzles waiting for me at least #plus my mom always has a bunch to be done since everyone knows to buy her puzzles lol but that has also gotten out of hand #i wouldn't mind getting rid of a couple of mine though just bc it is like okay you do it but then you just have it and it takes up space #would be cool to have pretty ones framed tho

#rat rambles #oni posting #on the bright side thats one mystery id kind of solved #by kind of I mean its most likely jorge but theres no way to comfirm it #this does make me feel like there might be some other b363 thing I missed but Im not sure if I doubt myself enough to go check rn #they are another character seen in story trait logs alongside an in game lifeform origin log just with critters this time #Ive made baseless speculation on who b363 could be based on what named characters we have without ids but its nowhere near confirmed #at least from what I remember but again Im starting to doubt myself a lil so I might double check at some point #the only idless characters we have fully marked off is nikola Im pretty sure #although based on the characters we do know anything abt itd most likely be either ada or liam but thats not saying much #ada is a fairly high probability tho since we basically 100% know that shes a part of the bioengineering department #liam possibly is too but thats more of a educated guess then smth particularly implied #Im glad I've finally realized who our lovely plant guy is tho #alas even if I find some hidden b363 content that still leaves I believe 3 ids unidentified #well we do know that at least one of them is steve but we don't know which one #and while we can take shots in the dark at who the scientist is theres also a second guard #and out of everyone we know bits and pieces abt theres no one who fits that bill or at least not anyone Im remembering #every other mentioned character is some flavor of scientist or is implied to be #not counting quinn but they are also off the table on account of not being a gravitas employee #so basically unless I missed smth the only previously established character that we know for sure is in that log is steve and the other two #could easily be any of the currently unused guys #and the other guard basically has to be unless theres scientists here that also double as guards

Soulmate AU of sorts? Like, every subject of Ymir gets visited by the Godfather at some point during their life. The Godfather comes to the person “at the right moment” with a few ring models for the person to choose within (each ring is made with the respective person in mind and their personality/life, all made by Ymir herself). The one ring that gets chosen is then given to their soulmate by the Godfather. The whole idea is for the person to get their ring back from their soulmate when they meet (if they meet) (and for the soulmate to get their ring too from the person).

NO RING LOOKS ALIKE. EACH ONE IS UNIQUE, MADE SPECIFICALLY FOR THE PERSON.

IF the person doesn't like any of the rings, they can describe their dream ring to the Godfather. However, in that scenario the person doesn't get to see the ring until they meet their soulmate. IF the person refuses to choose a ring altogether (say they either don't believe in soulmates or have no interest in taking part of this), the Godfather decides for them. That's for in case the person changes their mind at some point.

The soulmates don't have to be strictly romantic or anything like that. The pair(s) are decided based on how compatible the two are, made by Ymir herself to help her subjects avoy the pain and suffering she went through for loving the king. They're perfectly made for each other so to say. Still, Ymir doesn't force anything on anyone. She just wants to help.

IF the soulmate isn't a subject of Ymir, then they don't get to choose a ring (for example, Niccolo doesn't choose a ring BUT gets Sasha’s ring. And Sasha doesn't get any ring, but she gets to choose hers). Theoretically speaking someone can have more soulmates, but the cases are extremely rare.

No ranting about JeanMarco with this one, mostly because I don't have much to say on the matter lol. Marco gets Jean's ring within a few weeks prior to enrolling and Jean gets Marco's ring two years into their training (because let's be honest, Jean at the very beginning wouldn't be ready for the realization that Marco's his soulmate. Jean after two whole years of friendship though?). I don't see Marco going around asking people about their ring and stuff, so he keeps it ‘secret’(he just doesn't open the subject). Is only when Jean goes to Marco and shows him the ring Godfather gave him that, you know, pieces start to fall into place. Marco doesn't even let Jean rant excitedly about it, he straight up pulls out the ring out of the pocket and pushes it in Jean's face. The whole situation is chaotic. I think. Too tired to think properly rn.

#Armin got a ring similar to the one Annie already have and it doesn't take them long to find out they're soulmates. Annie shoots him down #immediately saying she wants nothing to do with that bullshit. Their whole situation is a mess #Ymir doesn't even wait around the second she knows she wants to be with Historia she shows her the ring. No hesitation #Mikasa actually gets her ring really late. Like years later late. Never gets the chace to ask Eren if the ring is his #Eren meanwhile got the ring even before meeting Mikasa #I can't remember if Niccolo is a subject of Ymir or not lol. But yk I was only giving an example anyway #I think Sasha might have two soulmates. Niccolo and Connie.
