how's your watch of criminal minds going? you (and my inability to start anything new) inspired me to start it over again lol

i’m about to finish season 4! i have spencer brainrot on a level never seen before by another human being. i’ve written 6k words in the last 24 hours for this man and ive not even consumed enough content to know how to write him properly HAHHA. i am Loving it tho !!! love love love and love.

sorry for being completely awol this week - got sideblinded by really, Really bad pain. feeling much better now, though, so feel free to pester any muse that catches your fancy. i'll try to work on replies now that the chronic pain is less of a problem i have fewer things demanding my attention. I'll probably be on Bri, primarily, since she's the most active right now.

listen, this is coming from someone who actually enjoys aco/sf but...

if sarah didn't decide to do more adult-y books when starting aco/sf it probably would have been better tbh. i feel like the sex scenes took up space for important things that should have been addressed. but miss thing wanted to have her fun.

and i'm somebody who enjoys reading smut. it just felt so out of place and honestly unnecessary for this series. like a scene or two of it would have been fine, but there was an excessive amount that didn't need to be there and it took away from time that could've been spent focusing more on nesta healing and her's and cassian's character development ( which there wasn't a ton on cassian's part ).

and then there's cc that's also categorized as adult and doesn't have the excessive sex scenes that aco/sf did. so really the book just comes across as experimental on sarah's part. which i guess if there's a book series of her's to experiment on it's aco/tar bc we all know it's her unserious series lmao.

which leads me to a different subject; her having a character ( nesta ) going through serious things ( depression, ptsd, sa, even suicide) and how the other characters react towards her and towards each other when discussing nesta in comparison to the other books is very strange. but i'll get into that in another post bc i don't feel like getting into it rn.

I really want to get a solid grasp of which era PL:Z-A will be taking place in, since This Does Matter For Bri. tl;dr: Bri before she lost her voice is a much different beast than Bri after she lost her voice. If it's in the equivalent of the 1800s, it's do-able but boring as far as Bri goes, since that's post-loss, so it'll be same old paranoid Bri. But if it's anywhere before the 1600s decade, preferably after the plague and hundred year's war.....

Hi Owen! I'm sure you've heard this plenty from the other voices, but it's been a while on my end. A couple months actually! I was wondering, do you have any experience with origami? I find it pretty calming, and really helpful when I need something to do with my hands. You also get a little trinket after! I could show you some of the things i've made if you want?

Origami... I mean, I used to make cootie catchers when I was younger, but other than that, no, I don't believe so. I'd love to see what you've made, Sword, in the past you've shown yourself to be quite the creative individual.
