The rough concept sketches I had for canon compliant vampires in trigun. Some extra informations :
- The plant that is the origin of Noman's town mutations is still alive and working, the malfunction that happens decades ago did take a considerable amount of energy out of her.
- Due to the vampires' very very sensitive skin to UVs, the town itself is fully deserted— but the townsfolk discovered a buried ship under it that has been repurposed as a city.
- The current leader of the noman's town cult calls herself "Mother", and has an especially bad case of mutation (small bodies that has grown from her much like how plants have them) and hides them with a crimson robe.
- The townfolk are mostly feeding off lost people who unfortunately found themselves here. While it's not uncommon for a cult member to venture in the desert in order to find more "prays", they always come back.
- Scavengers tends to be more "brutal" in the way they feed— meaning it's not uncommon for thomas ranches to have cases of brutally killed beasts. While townfolk can be as violent, they tend to prefer using medical procedures to take as much blood as possible in their pantries.
- The child of a vampire and a normal human will always be a normal human. Only a child from two vampires or two people holding the mutated gene will be a vampire due to the mutation's nature.

Kind of hilarious to me how poorly the title "Mob Psycho 100" localized to English-speaking areas. To someone whose first language is English, it scans as:
Mob (Yakuza, Mafia)
Psycho (violent person with "crazy" behaviors)
Thus: a particularly violent member of organized crime.
But in Japanese it scans as:
Mob (background characters in crowd scenes in manga or anime)
Psycho (short for psychic)
Thus: a psychic who looks/acts like someone you'd never pick out of a crowd scene in a comic.
