Update on my Playbill Collection! ✨

I... may have gone a bit overboard with the Beetlejuice Playbills-

Seeing other Playbill collections made me want to start a small one of my own! However, I decided to keep mines primarily Beetlejuice related, since I'm more focused on collecting Playbills from different theatres/productions at the moment-

As shown above, three of the new Beetlejuice Playbills that I got were both Pride versions including the Broadway cast, and the Halloween version! It makes happy that Beetlejuice the Musical has so many different versions of their Playbill!

I also got this Tour flyer from the week it was here! Unfortunately, I missed it during both my outings... so I had to get them from a seller. As a result, I now have 5 Tour Playbills (one signed) with 3 flyers-

I wanted to keep something that had Justin as Beetlejuice to pair with my Alex ones-

HUGE SPOILER AHEAD!!!

Watch “TRASH FRIENDS” before reading. If you haven’t watched it and still read this, pls don’t say I didn’t warn you 🫠👍

Just watched “TRASH FRIENDS” and the thumbnail really made me think this was going to be an episode focusing on the way Mario has been treated by Smg4 and his friends (at least that’s how I see it) but I wasn’t expecting an episode about Smg3’s insecurities and fears (mostly insecurities)

I really was caught lacking because I was expecting something and I got the opposite lmao. I should be familiar with this guy’s content already and know that the only thing expected from these episodes is the unexpected xD, but anyways back to talking about the video.

In previous episodes we see that he gets a little bit of customers such as in the episode “You used to be cool” and “CEO OF RIZZ” but in this last mentioned episode he tries to advertise his café after Boopkins’s date works out in the end and so does the same in “SMG4’s NEWS.”

At first you think “Maybe he wants more than what he has” but after watching this episode you realize he’s actually struggling with his business and last weeks episode you change your view from his actions and see him as more desperate rather than greedy after watching this latest ep.

Constantly trying to get more people into his café and taking every single chance he can see to advertise no matter the place or time, like life depends on it.

And talking about chances ._.xD

Smg4 comes to this guy’s café for his help to get his “Michael Jordan Endorsement Video” back because boi lost it and he wants Smg3’s help because their “FRIENDS”

Of course Smg3 saw this as a chance to advertise his café because HOLY SHIT MICHAEL JORDAD!!! A famous basketball player that anyone would want to have the chance to meet and that’s a chance that Smg3 is willing to take because it means his business would BLOW UP *someone throws them a chair*

Btw when Mario shows up to offer his help, I expected Smg4 to be more happy that he has his avatar buddy always trying to help him but instead…

Don’t get me wrong, I know they got a little weirded out about the fact that Mario is a regular around the Junkyard due to him eating at that location but still, that dialogue still sort of hurt me man qwp

But anyways back to my review of this episode and giving my acoustic povs that nobody asked for.

They arrive at the junkyard and after being there for 5 seconds, they find the legendary pokemon that goes by the name of “Michael Jordan Endorsement Video” (sorry for my weak ass jokes, I just woke up and my humor is a little broken rn)

After having the video on sight, Mario pulls a Yoshi and beats the crap out of the spaghetti plate where the video so happened to land on, in one go. Obviously, causing the other two to try and force the USB out of him but both failed as Mario did a BLJ through the trash and forcing 3 & 4 to dig through everything to find him.

Now… the part I was dying to talk about and hopefully I can let out my thoughts the proper way.

As the two spend an entire evening just digging through trash, they start a friendly conversation until Smg4 touches the Smg3’s CnB topic which causes Smg3 to get nervous and lie about everything being fine because he has something that every human being has unfortunately, ✨I N S E C U R I T I E S✨.

Which I understand because bruh, 3’s been seen as a bad copy of 4 who’s the total opposite of him for a good piece of his life, if not his ENTIRE existence and now that’s he’s going through a change in his life for the better, he’s going to face a lot of these insecurity episodes because he’s so used to being seen as the bad guy, the bad copy, The Villain. Always people seeing what 4 does and never looking what 3 does which got him into that dark path.

Is like the Sun and the Moon kind of thing. The Sun (Smg4) can shine the brightest while the moon (Smg3) is just a floating rock shining the least. I’ll bring this up again at the end of the review.

But yeah, Smg3 has insecurities and is more shown when they reach the entrance of Mario’s hiding spot.

My final take on Queen of Tears? It was a one hell of a fucking journey + Thoughts on the finale

[Warning: Long-ass post ahead]

Queen of Tears released its final episode last Sunday, April 28. The show made history as it became tvN’s most watched drama, surpassing the 2019 hit Crash Landing on You. Park Ji-eun was the writer for both shows.

The story is about a couple who underwent a crisis in their third year of marriage. However, a significant event will not only change their lives but also pave the way for them to rediscover their love for each other. 

I personally got hooked into this show for three reasons:

First, the plot: Marriage tropes in a lot of dramas are usually about infidelity, toxic and abusive relationships that end in a nasty divorce. It happens in real life sadly, but I appreciate the fact that Park Ji-eun took a different route and gave us another realistic side of marriage. A couple who once had this warm, passionate love for each other became cold and distant over time because of one tragic event that left them wounded and broken. There were also other factors that added salt to the wound which caused them to drift further from one another. I’m not gonna go into details because I have already discussed this in earlier episodes. However, I love that there were a couple of flashbacks that tells the viewers of how their love story began, plus some extra bits and pieces in the epilogue that were either related to Hyun-woo and Hae-in’s past, or a particular scene in the current episode that was told from either of the character’s point of view. 

Switching from light and funny scenes to a more intense one then back to swoon-worthy moments and then the last thing you knew you were bawling your eyes out because of the heartbreaking scenes felt like a roller coaster ride, needless to say I was always on edge and I sometimes had to pause in the middle of the episode so I could breathe. That’s how intense the emotions were in this show. Like I have said before, this is not a rom-com but more like a heavy drama with a couple of light and funny scenes.

But the part in this story that appealed to me the most is that it will make you question, how much love can someone truly give? How far can you go to be with the person you love? And when everything seems black and white, would you be willing to stay? Or walk away? 

Second, the characters: Immediately, I was drawn to Baek Hyun-woo and Hong Hae-in. Usually in KDramas, it’s always the male lead who is cool, cold, nonchalant and rich af and the girl is the bubbly, cutesy-cutesy, overly dramatic, and broke. I absolutely LOVE the role reversal. Hae-in is the cool and badass wife while Hyun-woo is the cute, dramatic hubby and together, they make an ✨iconic couple✨. But on a more serious note, a lot of characters nowadays are into the red light/green light spectrum and don’t get me wrong, I love it. Who doesn’t love a green light character right? But again, Park Ji-eun wrote them in such a way that you wouldn’t perceive them as this ultra-perfect, no flaw character, but they aren’t toxic either (except for the main villains of course). A lot of the characters in the show have a good and flawed side, and I love it because that’s what makes them human, they are multi-layered which makes them complex, but at the same time, they were written in such a way that the viewers could have a deeper understanding of the characters, and even relate to them in some ways. 

Again with the exception of the villains, the character developments were so good. Witnessing this whole-ass process of them being flawed and broken characters to becoming the best versions of themselves were just the best.  

Third, the cast: Ah, I can go on and on about how every actor in this show was absolutely amazing! Again, Kim Soo-hyun has proven why he is Korea’s highest paid actor. I love that he can switch from this handsome, smart, and sexy lawyer, to a super cute, loving hubby, and then a man who would fight for his woman no matter what it takes. BITCH! The acting range of this guy is fucking LIMITLESS! As for Kim Ji-won, this is by far her best acting performance in my opinion. Hong Hae-in was such a difficult character to portray, but I love how she was able to effortlessly deliver Hae-in’s stoic, nonchalant exterior and when you look into her eyes you’ll see that vulnerable part of her that no one else except [her husband] sees. 

SooWon’s chemistry on the other hand is GOD-TIER! They were born to play Baek Hyun-woo and Hong Hae-in. Whether it’s a funny, romantic, or heavy scene, they nailed it to perfection! These two are the most married couple I have seen in a show. I feel sad that I’m not gonna see them together on-screen for sometime but I am hoping that they’d be able to work together again in the future. Although my delulu self is manifesting for them to be together irl 😂🤧

Park Sung-hoon, I have said before that he is so good at playing a villain. But I hope he gets to show his ability to portray a nice guy in the future, I need a break from him playing evil. 

Kwak Dong-yeon and Lee Joo-bin’s performances as the second couple deserve to be applauded as well. Despite their characters going through crazy shit, I love that they were able to deliver it on a lighter, heartwarming note in contrast to SoWoon’s heavier scenes.

Special mentions to the following 🗣️:

The Official Playlist of the Show- When I tell you that I have listened to every song in this playlist, I really mean it. I don’t understand the language, but everytime I hear a song from QOT, I can instantly imagine a particular scene from the show, that’s how magical it is. My most replayed song is The Reasons of my Smiles by BSS, but I also love Heize’s Hold me back, and the song that makes me the most emotional: Love you with all my heart by Crush. 

The cinematography: I’m not gonna go into details about the technicalities, but everything was perfectly shot, especially the scenes in Germany–it was dreamy, romantic, and beautiful. 

The crew members who worked behind the camera also need to be praised for the hard work, effort, and dedication they’ve put into making this show. 

There are things however about the show that I didn’t personally like or I think they could have done better. Here’s the link of why I think the storyline isn’t as good as I thought it would be: 

The final episode didn’t turn out the way I hoped it would be, although there were some parts of it that were really good like:

📍 Cheon Da-hye and Grace choosing to take accountability for their past actions (also Grace being the key player in bringing Mo Seul-hee down was the cherry on top) and has been given another chance to live honestly was one of the best character redemptions. 

📍The Hong family reclaiming what’s rightfully theirs, that was such a powerful scene.

📍Hyun-woo and Hae-in looking at each other after Mo Seul-hee was proven guilty for killing Hong Man-dae and all the other bullshits she did to Queens and the Hong family, as if saying, “It’s finally over,” and they did it together was so power couple coded. 

📍Aunt Beom-ja and husband #4 [really] taking their time to get to know each other…like literally. Her facial expression when Yeong-seong kissed her on the cheek instead of the lips like she was expecting was GOLD.

📍Mama and Papa Hong choosing a simpler and quieter life and hanging out with their besties (Mama and Papa Baek).

📍Hyun-woo and Hae-in taking their time to rebuild their relationship, then goes on to get married and have a baby, then visiting Germany every so often was the most heartwarming scene. 

📍I would say that the ending was a bittersweet one. Hae-in’s premonition came true, she died first and Hyun-woo never failed to visit her grave, and then eventually reuniting was one of the most realistic endings in a Kdrama. They lived a good life, they built a family, grew old together and reunited in the afterlife was beautiful but there was a certain ache in that part, perhaps a reminder that no matter how painful it gets, there is always a silver lining, and if you’re meant to be, you’re meant to be.

However, in addition to my linked post:

📍The first half of the story started really strong, but it dwindled the moment they added all of these ridiculous subplots. One Tumblr user commented that Hyun-woo and Hae-in’s marriage had enough issues as far as drama is concerned and I couldn’t agree more. 

📍I get that Mo Seul-hee is a shitty person but I don’t even know why she chose to prey on Hong Man-dae of all people. She could have done the same to other wealthy families (I mean he’s not the only gullible man out there with tons of money), but the question is, what did the Hong family do to her? Surely, there must have been a deeper meaning than just wanting money but alas, it's a question we'll probably never get an answer too.

📍The good thing is that we now fully understand why Yoon Eun-seong acted the way he did. He has mommy issues, abandonment issues, anger issues, etc. My prediction about him dying in the finale was correct, but there was no character redemption for him thus I don’t see the point on why they had to extend his Hae-in obsession arc towards the end. Take out all the irrelevant subplots, and the story still would have worked.

📍One of my biggest frustrations in the show was the fact that they only addressed BaekHong’s miscarriage after Hae-in lost her memories when they could have done that in the earlier episode (the scene where Hyun-woo and Hae-in had a heart-to-heart conversation about their failed marriage), it’s like the writer forgot about that part–which by the way was such a crucial part then she just inserted this scene somewhere in the finale. 

📍I was also disappointed that Hae-in's mom wasn't the one who comforted her during that scene where Hyun-woo was undergoing surgery after getting shot. It would have been such a perfect opportunity to heal their relationship. Also, I would have appreciated it if Mama Hong was the one who personally apologized to Hyun-woo for being harsh towards him.

📍I know I said that the ending was a more realistic one, but babes we were ROBBED! I would have loved to see a BaekHong wedding part 2, their pregnancy journey and moments with baby Soo-bin but alas, we were deprived of that too. As much as I find the finale realistic, I wouldn’t say that I was satisfied either.

📍I just remembered this now, but Papa Hong's and Aunt Beom-ja's other sibling could have actually contributed to ending the villain arc. He could have made moves to unravel Seul-hee and Eun-seong's crap, but idk writer-nim just placed him there just because 🤷.

Overall, do I think that this show is over hyped? Storywise, yes. As far as the actors’ performances go, they deserve it. 

Is the show worth watching? I’d say it’s worth checking out if you’re someone who likes heavy, intense dramas. If not, avoid this. Again, this is not a light rom-com. 

Would I rewatch? For BaekHong, yes but I’ll skip the irrelevant parts.

Ratings:

Performance: 100/10

OST: 10/10

Cinematography, Editing, etc.: 10/10

Story-telling: 6/10

✨Time to talk!✨

I watched the gameplay of Security Breach: Ruins without words, caught several screamers, and was shocked by what was happening several times. I can say for sure that the DLC is made much better and more interesting than the main game. However, the search and disabling of security protocols was still not so exciting, but it did not spoil the impression of the game at all!

But I would like to talk about something else, about what I could call the origins of this franchise, namely about the history from the first to the sixth part of the FNAF. Why do I want to talk about this? Well, the thing is that I am, if not an old-timer, then someone who watched the development of the FNAF franchise from the very first game and who was terribly afraid to play these games until 2020 (😂).

And what has happened in these almost 10 years amazes me. From the concept of a soul enclosed in the body of an old robot and suffering in agony, we have come to highly intelligent robots behaving almost the same as humans! Isn't that amazing?

And I'd be a fool if I said I didn't understand what was going on. Since the appearance of the fifth part (Sister Location), it was clear that Scott intended to add smart robots. Was it interesting? - Undoubtedly it was. Was it stupid? - Well, no, some got even more interesting details and a riddle: "How were such smart killer robots created in such early years?"

I remember the times when people wondered what kind of souls were inside animatronics; thought about who was hiding behind the guise of a security guard; looked for Easter eggs and secrets to finally unravel the plot of FNAF. To some extent, this happened: everyone was able to unravel the plot in their own way and a bunch of alternative universes appeared where people shared their vision. I think it was pretty cool! My favorites to this day are 'Springaling' and 'Springtrap and Deliah'.

And I didn't mind what was happening at all. Yes, people (including me) quarreled on the basis of different theories, but everyone was somehow waiting for them to reveal the true plot of all these games. But that's just not what happened. Books happened, a trilogy came out, and then other parts, and there were no fewer questions. The whole plot, which was pieced together from different games, finally disintegrated, because that part of the fandom appeared, which began to say that books should be combined with games almost completely.

I won't say anything about books, because I simply haven't read them (seriously, do I need to read stories about how smart killer robots kill people, or about how stupid people kill themselves with robots?), but the fact that history has broken into separate universes is very confused. Someone was looking for answers in the trilogy, saying that the characters there are the same, just with different names; someone, like me, brushed the books aside, trying to focus only on the games. And so, FNAF 6 is the end of the story about William Afton and his victims. A beautiful end to the story and a new beginning in the form of FNAF 9, in which a completely new villain and heroes! Smart robots, a huge complex, underground catacombs! That's the scope!

But it just didn't work. Why? For one simple reason: under the Pizza-Plex there was an old pizzeria from FNAF 6, where once everything burned down. Why is this important? Well, because in this very pizzeria there was Burntrap and Molten, who were also present in FNAF 6. Why is IT important? For another simple reason: it connects two stories into one. That is, the whole story of William Afton smoothly flowed into a new history of Pizza Plex.

(And yes, I've heard about a mimic; that it's not William, but a mimic that imitates him, but let's be honest, in the game I see an endoskeleton with meat and bones in a springbonnie's suit and with purple eyes. How am I supposed to understand, without reading the book, that it's not William Afton who's back again? If you give me an answer to this question, I'll shut up.)

What's the matter? Big deal, Afton has risen. What's the difference? That's the freaking problem. If William is alive, then other souls could not rest.

Michael won't rest because he didn't finish off his father; the missing children won't rest because they didn't take revenge on their killer; Charlie won't rest because she will have to protect these children; Henry won't rest because his daughter is still here and so on. And then the question is: where are all these souls? Inside Molten? Perhaps, but still it is not said about it. You can tell me: "The souls have already rested! They don't care that William is back!" And they should care! Otherwise, why didn't they rest all 40 years before?

You can tell me, "This is not William Afton! That's why they didn't come back!" Even if it's not William Afton, but a mimic… There is still a Glitchtrap here, which was obtained from William's chip (although what chip could have survived after such a fire?). Why haven't the chips of others been scanned? Are you saying they haven't been preserved? Or did William, in the form of a barely moving zombie, make a copy of his chip?

I'm not asking these questions to show how FNAF 9 is bad! Perhaps this is just a cry from the soul of a fan of the first 6 parts, who hoped to see someone from the old band, at least in the form of small memories…

Sometimes it feels like Scott is ashamed of his first parts. Perhaps he didn't like the story that he himself can't put together…

But I am warmed by memories of bygone days. I still remember how touched I was by the ending of FNAF 6, when Henry in a few words was able to show all his love for his daughter and their fatigue. And at the sight of an old pizzeria in FNAF 9, in which my favorite characters once burned down, the thought arises: "What if they are still here?"

Of course, the last thing I want to think is that Michael, Charlotte and others are still trapped in these piles of metal underground, where there is no chance of getting out, but… I so want to see my favorite characters in a new beautiful shell, at least for a few seconds...

The troopers are getting on his damn nerves. He is able to take them out but stars be damned, this is getting exhausting. He couldn’t even focus on judging you because yeah, he wanted to. He wanted to see what was so impressive about the Jedi. This was the first real moment he could witness you in combat. Mandalorian’s were battle forged. Battle was when you saw the core essence of a person, could learn their entire being from just one move

Bakugo wasn’t a fucking fool. He knew the legends of the Jedi, the ancient enemy, knew about the sorcerers who were considered just as fierce warriors as his kind were.

The first moment your lightsaber flourished to life he almost rolled his damn eyes. What kind of warrior only fights with one dumb little light stick?

Now the blinding flash of it blurred in his peripherals and he even couldn’t process it. He had to focus on his damn battle. He couldn’t baby sit you. You - who seemed to just mediate, be a boring arbitrator, and get on his every living nerve.

Suddenly the troopers start to up and leave fast. And then ground rumbles. It shakes with an awful approach of something dreadful. Both you and him whip your head down the town’s road. There turning the corner, imposing as hell, is a Scorpenek droid.

“Fuck.” Bakugo spits out.

But in its rumbling approach, cries pierce the air even faster. There hiding against the wall in the line of sight of the battle droid are two little girls, sisters clutching each other terrified. The droid auto locks on the two and begins the approach.

Bakugo moves-

But so do you, without hesitation.

That’s when he watches you go before him. Your saber is unreleased. Rapidly and with unrelenting attack you now weave through the remaining troopers with such precision it stills Bakugo momentarily. Your footwork is sloppy and rushed but it’s committed. You leave victorious destruction in your wake and he can barely see your face because you entire focus is getting to the girls.

You get a running start to jump fast and high. You land before the girls immediately shifting in a protective stance with your lightsaber drawn on the defense. The saber’s glow illuminates your face, sweat drenched and contorted in focus. Before him you are a knight, a warrior, unwavering to your opponent. Bakugo soars up high.

The two of you focus all your attention on the droid. Bakugo attacks from all angles and you do not move once from your post protecting the children. When the damn thing's barrier is finally broken, the battle shifts.

“Bakugo!” You suddenly shout at him, his name, in the voice of a commander. “I got a plan! Together! One last time we attack together!”

“Yeah!” He roars back. Then you outstretch your hand. That’s when he see it, those damn magic whatever powers. The sand floats. The droid contorts as if possessed by some unknown spirit but the stress grows stronger and stronger on your face.

You were holding the battle droid still for him to land the final blow.

And he does. Bakugo dives down, explosives ready at the wrist, and fucking blows the thing to pieces.

The battle dissipates fast and he lands back on the ground whipping his helmet to you. But you don’t even see him. You are kneeling and facing the two girls. They cry even louder clutching onto you and you hold them tight, comforting.

The mandalorian warrior stays silent as you carry one of the girls in your arms and the other stays clinging to your robes. Even as composed as you are, he sees it. The discolor in your face and the edge of exhaustion bleeding into your eyes is evident. Your tired smile is so relieved when the girls run sobbing to their father who is thankfully safe. Bakugo however stays vigilant watching you.

“I’m heading back to help search and rescue.” He announces and you nod moving in step beside him, eyes not even looking at him. He wonders if you might be the one possessed now.

“Shouldn’t you sit your ass down, shitty Jedi?” Bakugo asks.

“M’fine.” Your voice is slightly slurred now, battle worn.

You take one more step and that’s when you pitch forward, tripping on your own damn dumb legs that have buckled under exhaustion. It takes him only two steps to move and catch you, steady and sturdy.

“Damn moron.” He knew it. He saw it brewing, the limit a warrior reaches in battle, and knew this was coming.

“Shut up blasty, I’ll be fine.” You sigh breathless.

“Stop moving!” He barks at you because of course your dumbass is trying to fidget out of his arms to keep moving. You’re fierce. He can see it in the annoyance flashing in your eyes but, it’s admirable. He can’t even deny that.

“You need to sit your ass down.” He tells you simple and straightforward like he’d tell his fellow warrior.

“You need to go away.” He rolls his eyes at your childish deadpan but begins leading you back to the medic station. You do not fight him.

Bakugo takes each step slow, eased, not to rush you. Then he feels it. The weight of your body shifts to fully lean against on him. An unspoken solidarity settles between you two, mandalorian and Jedi both a united team victorious. But, the fierce mandalorian war hero now wants to rip apart his chest so badly because he wants, no needs, to get rid of it - this the wave of something proud and fond bubbling disgustingly fast beneath his beskar armor.

“Bet you were a damn headache to train. You’re stubborn as shit.” Bakugo comments.

“Look who’s talking.” You snort and it’s amused, comradely. “And excuse you, but all my mentors at the temple said I was a delight to train and have during lessons.”

Your voice is chirped, brightly proud, gaining a bit of your spirit back. And he can’t help it. He laughs, a bark of a thing but he laughs and he fucking hates it.

“Yeah I fucking bet.” He hates even more that he means those words.

Speaking of which: he has a picture of his mom and dad together where they’re both smiling and happy on the altar. There’s some whiskey for his father, wine for his mom, and candies for both of them.

There’s a few tears but he will absolutely not say anything or acknowledge it, he knows this is about celebrating the lives of people you’ve lost, not mourning them and he refuses to ruin this for you.

So, he wipes his tears and the festivities begin!

I'd have to say Willow. To my defense, it's because I have a sister like her and seeing how she acted in the episode just drove me nuts. She does have a good moment at the end, but overall I just have a personal dislike for her.

Gotta go with Moonstone. I'm more of a moon person anyways, but again it's so unexplored and has so much we don't know about it. It intrigues me so.

Fav Season?

Season 2 for sure. I liked that it had more wacky adventures and of course Hector and Adira. I also liked to see how Raps and Cass started to become distant (although it was sad to me) and how that unfolded.

Something you wish had happened in the series?

Broken record here but just more Brotherhood stuff! Seeing them interact? Or just more about the Dark Kingdom in general. I hated that they introduced this whole other kingdom and didn't give us much about them at all! I also wished they would have given us some better maps of the whole continent with all the kingdoms. I love stuff like that!

Another Show you'd like to see have a cross over with Tangled?

Oooh this is a hard one...I've been re-watching Avatar the Last Airbender and that would be a great crossover to me.

I love the bearcats and rhino, but Pascal has always had my heart from the movie. I'd say he's my number one, then the bearcats and rhino.

I have a few favs, but my top ones are where Hector takes Varian in after Quirin is encased in the amber and the one where Varian is encased instead of Quirin and Quirin has a dark streak.

The big one for me was more Brotherhood interactions!!!! I would have loved to see Adira and Hector talk to Quirin. Another I've always wanted to see is what Hector would have thought about Andrew and his cause with the Saporians. I feel they have a lot of similarities.

Would you marry anyone in the Tangled world?

I mean I am completely happily married currently haha, but I'd have to say probably Adira or Lance. As much as I love Hector, he's got A LOT of baggage and emotional stuff going on (as do I XD). I don't think we'd be that compatible or good for one another.

Fav Char outfit?

I really liked Raps dress in season 3. I've always found it super cute and I love the neck line area (whatever that's called). A special shout out to her coronation dress, because that was just a beautiful piece of work!

Least fav char outfit?

I've never liked Eugene's outfit in Before Happily Ever After (he also wears it a few times in season 2 I believe). It was just so plain to me and I feel they could have done a little more with it.

Random Tangled Headcanon you have?

I had one about the Brotherhood all knowing how to pick locks and still really stand by it haha. One I recently came up with is when Cass has Adira and Hector with the Mindtrap that she would try and get them to do as she said without using it as like a power move over them.

Movie or series?

I gotta say the movie. It's been my fav Disney film since it came out and was the first Disney movie to make me cry (other than when I was like really little).

Favorite Tangled Fanfic?

Ooh there are so many! I do love your Incarnate fic its pretty good. I'll admit I haven't read a lot of TTS fics. I can think of a few Brotherhood fics but I cannot find where they are. If you want them I can dig deeper and find them, but at the moment I can't find them.

When did you join the fandom?

I started watching TTS in the winter of 2021. I was super late into the fandom sadly. I still wish I had been there in the beginning to be there for everything. Admittedly, I remember when this show was first coming out, but I was working full time and in school so it was low on my list of priorities and eventually forgotten.

Which char do you relate to the most?

The two that really come to mind are Lance and King Fredric. Lance, because I have the urges to talk myself up (like he did with Adira baha), but also his desire to have a family. King Fredric is a char I know gets a lot of hate, but I really connected with him at the end of season 1 when he feels like a failure for losing Raps as a baby. I really felt that as a parent myself that sometimes we want to make certain decisions that are very harsh, but come from a place of genuine fear and concern for those we love. Its a very real thing that can be a big obstacle to overcome. Maybe I am too soft hearted about it, but that really struck a chord with me.

A big opinion you have related to the Tangle movie/series?

Cass should have had a whole extra season with the Moonstone and exploring it's powers. Also for her to really show her emotions and how she felt about her treatment. She wasn't mean enough in my opinion.

✨Is this episode worse than “The Roaming Lake”?✨

Yes, this episode is automatically worse than “The Roaming Lake”, because this is the one where Goten and Trunks are about to fuse and Goku tells them not to.

  This is the dumbest thing this show has ever done.  Goten and Trunks haven’t done shit-all this entire series.  Everyone just wanted to see Adult Gotenks, and this piece-of-crap anime refused to deliver.  Well, you know what, Dragon Ball GT?  We don’t need your broken promises anymore!   This is the 21st century!  And we have Dragon Ball Heroes. 

Look at this.  Look at this.  GT Gotenks.  You love to see it.

  Am I overreacting?  I don’t think I am.  They put Gotenks in Battle of Gods, Dragon Ball Super and DBS Super Hero.  He didn’t even do that much in any of those shows, but they still put him in there because the people love Gotenks, and they just like to see how he’s doin’. 

But not GT!  Noooooo.  The people making GT heard fans asking “Please sir, might you favor us with a crumb of Gotenks?” and they were like “Bleah, bleah!  No Gotenks for anyone!  Bleah!”

“The Roaming Lake” is a lot of things.  Stupid, yes.  Boring, certainly.  But it’s not a liar.  Nam was trying to get water for his village and dammit, they got some water.

  We all know the REAL Goku wouldn’t turn down some Gotenks action.  He’s the one who taught Goten and Trunks how to do it. He would have been like, “Yeah, boys, do some fusion, this is gonna kick ass!”  And then SSJ3 Gotenks would have busted out Stardust Breaker and one-shotted Baby.  Then Vegeta would have woken up and said “No, I can’t be satisfied with this victory, not until Kakarot and I fuse so we can face our sons in awesome fusion battle, men-to-men.”  And then it would have been Gotenks vs. Gogeta in a heartwarming father-son match on Planet Vegeta. 

✨ “Good” “Ideas”, Poorly Executed✨

All right, let me back up and provide some context for this travesty. 

So Baby and Goku were both knocked out last episode, but Baby got a reviving dose of Blutz waves from Bulma, while Goku is running on fumes.  Kibitoshin is arranging support for him, but they aren’t ready yet.  So Baby starts teeing of on Goku, because, hey, it’s a free shot. It’s like when you have Goten and Trunks in your anime, and you know you could just have them fuse into Gotenks whenever you want.  Why would you hold back?  Sorry, I’m getting off-track.

Anyway, Pan rushes into defend her grandfather, and it’s a pretty heroic scene, but Kozo Morishita said Pan can’t have a hero moment, so Baby just smacks her down again.  You know, they really should have turned Pan Super Saiyan, if only to justify her getting clobbered by Baby without getting seriously hurt.   It’s just such an obvious thing to do, like having Gotenks in your show... Oh, I’m doing it again, aren’t I?

So Baby moves into finish off Pan, because apparently he can trade blows with a Super Saiyan 4, but he needs multiple tries to kill a base-form Saiyan child.  Then Goku tries to hold him at bay, but Baby knows he’s helpless, so he just keeps going, until...

Trunks shows up to make the save.  Cool!  I don’t know why his ki blast could stop Baby, but SSJ4 Goku’s couldn’t, but at least he got here in time.   Trunks turns Super Saiyan, and tries to fight Baby by himself, but he gets nowhere.  This uppercut he delivers looks cool, but it doesn’t actually hurt Baby at all.

  Baby then tells Trunks that he’s currently inhabiting Vegeta’s body, which is weird because I thought Trunks already knew this.  I mean, it’s kind of unclear whether people remember what they did while they were under Baby’s control, but Trunks found out about Baby possessing Vegeta before he got Tuffleized.  Where else would Baby have gotten a Super Saiyan Oozaru to ride around in?

Then Goten, Gohan, and Kibitoshin arrive and rescue Trunks, and they all regroup to discuss their strategy.  And this is where Goten and Trunks propose fusion, but Goku insists that it won’t work, even if they all attack at once.  So what should they do, then?

Well, this, basically.  Goku wants the boys to turn Super Saiyan and give him their power.  This will restore him to full strength, and since he’s a Super Saiyan 4, he’ll have what it takes to defeat Baby once and for all. 

All right, so let me deconstruct this idea, because I hate it so, so, much.

  I don’t claim to understand power scaling.  But I’ve never been able to comprehend how characters pooling their power into one teammate is better than just fighting together as a group.  I had the same grip with the Broly movie, which is probably where this episode got the idea from, although we also see a similar trick used in the Lord Slug movie, and Baby used it a few episodes back when he had these same guys working for him.

The idea seems to be that Super Saiyan 4 Goku can somehow use that power more effectively than the others can individually, but I have a hard time buying that.  Maybe there’s some sort of stacking effect, where Goku can get more out of the same amount of ki energy.  Hey, you know what else has a stacking effect?  Fusion.

So even if this is the best play, wouldn’t it make a lot of sense for Goten and Trunks to fuse, and then stand around Goku and give him Super Saiyan power?  At least that way, if Baby tried to stop them, Gotenks would be in a better position to run interference. 

Also, why is Kibitoshin just standing around watching this?  He has healing powers, even if the Elder Kai claimed that they wouldn’t be sufficient to restore Goku’s strength.  So why doesn’t he put that to the test?  Even if he can only get Goku a quarter of the way to where he needs to be, that’s still better than nothing. 

Or even if Kibitoshin knows that wouldn’t work, why didn’t he grab some senzu beans on the way here?  Or he could have brought Dende along and they could have both healed Goku in some sort of kinky three-way healing session. 

I’ll admit that I’m splitting hairs here.  It’s just a cartoon, and it really doesn’t matter how they get Goku across the finish line, but it really makes me nutty how Toei seemed to go out of their way to arrange this bullshit. Like, there’s so many other options on the table, many of them involving Super Saiyan Pan and Adult GT Gotenks, but instead they went with this:

STANDING AROUND.  That’s the big technique we’re going to use to beat the bad guy.  Just standing around in the open, hoping he doesn’t kill us.

And Baby is actually surprisingly accommodating.  Sure, he tries to kill them before they can re-energize Goku, but he was sporting enough to stand perfectly still while they talked about it. Eventually he attacks, but Goku distracts him with a Solar Flare, and then, when Baby tries to attack again, he doubles over in pain.  What happened to him?  Well he came down with a case of...

Uub! Yeah, Baby thought he had defeated Uub before, when he turned Uub’s own candy beam back on him, but when he picked up the chocolate Uub and ate it, he made a fatal mistake.  Uub was counting on getting swallowed, and he figured he could do more damage to Baby from the inside.  Pretty clever!

Although, it kind of makes you wonder why he waited so long to make his move.  Uub got swallowed way back in Episode 33.  He can apparently change back into a human at will, but why didn’t he attack earlier?  If he’d done this before, when Baby was taking potshots at the Earth, he and Goku probably could have won this thing already.

Then again, it doesn’t work for very long, and Baby manages to spit Uub out, so maybe it was never good for more than a momentary distraction.  Baby finally manages to attack the Saiyan contingent, and for a moment it looks like he won.  Horrified that Pan has been killed, Mr. Satan dares Baby to kill him too, but then...

Goku reveals that he and Pan are fine.  Everything worked, and he’s back to full strength.  Maybe he’s stronger than he was when he first transformed, actually, since he had taken quite a beating before that.   Anyway, Baby’s back to square one. 

Goku declares that it’s time “we both got serious.”  Past time, if you asked me.  This whole fight has been one big boondoggle.  It’s not even that long, but it sucks so much ass that it feels like it’s taken forever.

Everything was good until you heard a certain crack from behind you. Turning around you saw one of your Daddy's minions lifting his foot from the ground and gasped when you saw your favorite paci laying there broken in half.

"No, no, no" you chanted and the minion took a step back while you gathered the pieces from the ground, looking at the broken shield that had your daddy's hammer on it with lightning surrounding it. "Ma paci..."

When you teared up the minion started to panic and snatched the broken paci from your hands.

"You better don't tell anyone about this or I will-" he raised his hand and you cowered away.

"Or you will what?" Thor cut him off and leaned against the door frame with his arms crossed.

"Boss, I- it isn't what it looks like I swear" he stammered and Thor rolled his eyes starting to approach him, and grabbing him by his throat the minion let the pieces fall on the ground again.

"If I ever see you near her again I will break your spine" he threatened, throwing him outside your room and calling for Valkyrie. "Take him to the basement. I'll take care of him later"

He closed the door and turned around, seeing you sniffle and sitting there with the broken paci in your hands.

"Oh, little one" he cooed and picked you up, walking over to the bed he sat with his back against the bed frame with you on his lap.

"Is bwoken..." you sniffled and handed him the pieces.

"I'm so sorry, little one, I know it was your favorite" he said and saw a new round of tears filling your eyes. He put the pieces on the beside and pulled you closer, so your head was resting on his shoulder. "How about we watch movies and order some take out, you can choose"

"And cuddle?" you smiled a little when he chuckled at your question.

"Of course, little one. We can cuddle for how long you desire" he promised and grabbed the remote, putting on one of your favorite movies making you squeal with joy.

The third cup of coffee I put into my system 2 hours ago was beginning to disappear. Great. Even caffeine is struggling to keep my body going. My mind feels like I am on auto-pilot as it is.

Unfortunately for me, this was just a regular occurrence since Red Rock Mountain Medical made their way onto Chastain grounds. Budget cuts, longer hours and loss of staff are just some of the reasons why I am basically pulling triple shifts.

There isn’t enough nurses to keep this place running like it should. Not that the people higher up the chain care; with their dapper clothing, fancy sports cars and the ability to do whatever they want despite the affect on others.

Scratching at my eyes to force them open, I take a deep breath and continue down the hallway.

Nic passes me and by the look she is giving me I know exactly what is going to come out of her mouth.

I quickly raise my hand and shake my head towards her just as her pager begins to beep.

“I am fine Nic, seriously. Go, your patients need you”

I was in fact not fine, but it wasn’t like I had a choice in the matter.

It was incredibly overwhelming, and I needed somewhere quiet. I needed to collect myself, just for five minutes. I quickly found myself in the nearest supply closet. I embraced the darkness and slid down the wall, welcoming the coolness from the floor and forced my head between knees in an effort to control my breathing.

I wasn’t aware of how long I stayed in that position, but I was startled when the door opens swiftly. I scramble from the floor and straighten out my uniform. The door clicked shut smoothly and I look up to see my boyfriend and third year resident, Conrad Hawkins.

He stood there for a moment taking in my dishevelled appearance; the dark circles under my eyes, creased uniform with a coffee stain down the front and the nest forming on top of my head which is currently passing as hair… barely.

“You look like hell” he concludes, his voice low, but soft.

I let out strangled laugh, “Thanks”

Tears of stress and tiredness well up in my eyes and I didn’t have the strength to stop them. Conrad immediately surges forward, catching me as I slide back down the wall of the closet, my body too weak to be currently supporting me.

My head rests in his lap as he hold me tightly. I sob and sob till I couldn’t anymore.

“It’s okay, I’m here, I got you” he repeats these affirmations continually as I finally release the horded emotion that I stored over the last few weeks.

He wipes the tears away from my face, no matter how many times they fall as I clutch onto any part of him that I could reach, desperate for comfort and that feeling of safety he provides.

My body finally relaxes, and I am able to look up to the man holding me. Conrad’s eyes were filled with a mixture of love and sympathy.

My voice is raw, and I struggle to get my next words out.

“Why… why do they do this to us?”

He leans down to kiss my forehead. I breath him in, before he pulls back to answer.

“It is a broken system; we just have to keep fighting to change it”

Oh, I knew it was a broken system all right, Chastain being one of the worst with situations like former Doctor Lane Hunter and the likes QuoVadis.

‘A different kind of battlefield’ Conrad called it.

“We can do this baby; we can make a change” He whispers as he fiddles with free pieces of my hair.

“I am not saying we can’t but it’s draining, I mean just look at me” My bottom lip trembles once more, threating another onslaught of tears.

“Shh, Shh, it’s going to be just fine. I promise.” Conrad’s grip tightens on me as he cradles me in his lap, swaying back and forth ever so slightly.

I stay there, listening to the sounds of my heart as the rhythm slowly returns back to normal. It was then I realised that I couldn’t fight the sleep I desperately needed anymore.

When I find myself next awake, I am between the plump cotton sheets of my bed… with an unforgiving headache.

I groan and force myself into a sitting position, to see Conrad ready with a glass of water and aspirin. I take them gratefully.

Conrad glides into the right side of the bed, planting a kiss on me before asking how I feel.

I give him a small smile “Better. Thank you”

I lean my forehead against his, we stay there for a moment before he speaks up again.

“Nic helped me get you home. We are both going to Bell in the morning. The hospital needs more nurses.”

I lay back down, cuddling into him. I looked at him with such great admiration and love. I don’t know what I would without him, or Nic for that matter.

“You are a great man Hawkins”

He just laughs wraps his arm around my waist.

“Go back to sleep Y/N. I will be here when you wake up”

This is an emotional ramble on why I got into tfa Blitzbee (not that any body asked me and will be leaving this post a little bit scarred- I simply think way too much about fictional men, and have to talk about them to balance my blood sugar)

I saw tfa when I was like 13 and hated it vehemently. Couldn’t wait for the next show on CartoonNetwork to come on. I saw Transformers Armada in snippets  when I was 8 and loved it. Because of Hot shot, basically... and Starscream.

Now one year ago I saw Tfa again on YouTube, after being stuck in G1 and Armada hell for trying to revisit childhood memories out of NOWHERE, and it’s now the most important piece of fiction to me on the planet. I can’t believe how much I love this show, now that I’m old as hell.

On to my point.

I have some kind of problem -that I won’t be telling my therapist about- where I HAVE to ship characters that I think are cute or cool 🙃 If I like you, you get yourself an in universe pairing. I can’t enjoy literature or media without romance or ships in it, same with real life. Obviously I don’t know why that is, or if should be worried.

Anyway, Blitzbee was an interesting case, because, while truly watching this show for the first time finally, I thought Bee was rude compared to his G1 self, and Blitzwing was just thousands of tonnes of cute, strong, extremely interesting mech.

I tend to base my ship relationships off my real life one of 13 years (so that’s how you know I’m biased and unreliable).

Big-strong looks precious with little-sassy. That’s my default, but not my only means of forming the connection between characters. Otherwise I wouldn’t indulge so deeply in Strika x Lugnut.

-Extra clarification, if I’m being confusing-

With the millions of exceptions I have to this default template, I should say (in my only, extremely weak defense) that it basically depends on the character I’ve found cute and cool. Like Overlord x Tarn, to give an example. They are vile, reckless, brutal, and their ship is saturated in dysfunction and animosity. Not to mention, there is no one specific cute, little baby to keep protected and loved (just kidding, it’s Tarn. He’s baby).

So the template isn’t a final thing. You don’t have to be a big bruiser with a little angel, when I’ve got equal power ships like WonderBat, JesseJames from Team Rocket, or rk1000 from DBH  in my arsenal.

And even then, like OverTarn, I subconsciously label someone as the sweetheart who needs protecting, just not in the same sense. Starscream x Windblade is a fun ship, and in that one, I think of Starscream as a needy, self conscious, broken mech who needs lots of affection.

Y’all did not ask for this, stop this, Cake.

——End clarification, back to the point——

It just so happened that Blitzwing got the role of ‘big boy is stronk and assertive’ (for reasons I’ll explain below) and I my kind, I wanted to assign him by favorite formula of a tiny sass machine to provide for.

I ignored finding him a ship for a while, and focused on the one that got me interested in Tfa suddenly in the first place- Megop. Who also fits my default template, splendidly.

I consumed more content just to see those two cuties in their natural habitats, until at last, Bumblebee wasn’t the rude bot I thought he was.

He was confident, playful, moderately easy to fluster (adorable), and compassionate ✨ He knew how to live life (I wish I did), made MANY mistakes (my favorite kind of character, because I regret everything I’ve chosen in life), and he was so happy whenever he could be with his family and just chill.

Bee was a sweetheart, I just hadn’t realized. When he told Sari to go ahead and cry all she needed and just held her in that one episode, that really did me in finally. Bee was now an awesome character, and I’d just needed to get to know him better. Which is frequently the case- I started off hating this show, after all.

Struggling with the emptiness of Blitzwing having no partner despite my insane infatuation for him (again, why does everyone need to be in a relationship, Cake? Life is fulfilling without romance. Well, I’m not going to tell my therapist still, so this is just my brain forever, I guess. Relationships or I lose interest) I was ✨immediately enlightened✨ I could see it now, I could see THE PAIRING💕 the one I’d waited a month for 🥺

But it got better, AS SOON as I’d given the thought life.

They could also actually.... ✨WORK✨

I realized they could be a sensible couple and I hadn’t just thrown them together like I had ShockBlur.

And it was literally all thanks to Blitzwing’s random, playful side I was given this little puzzle piece.

I could have my cake and eat it too (hence my name 🙃).

Blitzwing could be rough, tough, and sharp and protect his cocky, lighthearted, friendly, goofy little Autobot mate. AND he had a matching personality.

Years of war, violent, traumatic experiences had hardened him into a responsible, keen mech (in my head canon of him at least) which reminded me of my own partner in life. So another brick in the ship I was build.

BUT, Blitzwing could also be playful when his little one needed him to be. He could be reckless and daring and confident when Bee needed it, but still settle down for the day to watch him play video games and keep him cuddled in his lap.

(Obviously this is all shipping jargon, and I’m delusional, but you have to be delusional to ship characters who are unloving enemies, and canonically disgusted with each other, I guess 😭)

So, here I am projecting all my shit (these poor fictional robots) onto this amazing couple, I’ve finally met a justification to ship together (I have to have justification or I lose my freaking mind) AND THEN.

THEN Blitzwing calls Bumblebee (and Fanzone’s matching car) “Cute!” Because ‘they’re twins’.

And that’s all I needed for my formula of nonsense. Blitzbee was born, and can you guys freaking imagine what it was LIKE to enter into a fandom that was not only still alive, BUT SHIPPED the things I shipped? Like I cannot leave this place, I have never lucked out on old media still being popular, and loved enough to assign ships I genuinely care about an existence.

Am I old? Do y’all ever get this?

Anyway, I AM SHARING THIS for no other reason then I think so much about how perfect they are together, and I’m generally jarred and sad when in the show they don’t show each other the barest hint of kindness. 

But more accurately, I’m sharing this because I’m hoping someone will like read this and say in the comments wow BirthdayCake this is actually me, like these are my thoughts and feelings. You just described me, you are not alone. I literally could not believe how perfect two mechs having a similar personality type was when they were both so cute, what were the chances 🥺🥺🥺

Sans: Your shout for help startled him so bad he didn’t even register that you would be naked until he quickly teleported to you. He’s helping you up and handing you a towel/robe to wrap around yourself while he’s blue in the face. You’re in pain and now obviously isn’t the time for him to be embarrassed. 

Papyrus: Rest in pieces bathroom door 🤧 Papyrus kicked it off of its hinges. You’re up off the ground in an instant and he’s too busy trying to see if you’ve broken/bruised anything before he freezes, blushes slightly, and hands you a robe/towel. 

Red: He’ll probably bang on the door followed by a “Sweetheart?” (If he’s got a crush on you he starts calling you this regardless if you’re dating or not) If you tell him you can’t get up he’ll come in and help you up. His skull is practically steaming, but he helps you nonetheless. After you’re ok he dips for a while. 

Boss: Much like papyrus, he’s too busy kicking down the door and checking to see if you’re alright. Yelling for him sent him into full alert. He seriously thought there was something wrong. When you ask him to help you up he THEN realizes that you are, in fact, naked. He’s a stuttering mess, he’s averting his eyes and throwing a towel at you then helps you up. Then he promptly leaves the bathroom. 

Blue: He doesn’t really bat an eye at the fact that you’re naked. You’ve fallen and hurt yourself! He helps you up quickly and hands you a towel and asks if you need help getting to your room or anything. Once you’re ok he might throw in a small joke.

Stretch: He’s immediately at the door to ask you what's wrong. once you tell him you can’t get up he’s spazzing out. “Ok. One second...” After a short moment the door slowly opens up and he walks in with a t-shirt tied around his eye sockets. He flounders around until he finally makes his way over to you and carefully helps you up. Are you good? Cool? Cool. *teleports away and screams into his pillow for the rest of eternity*

Bear: Gives Z E R O craps about the fact that you’re naked. If you’re calling for his help he’s there. He gently helps you up and asks what’s wrong and if you need anything else. 

Brace: He might have the faintest hint of a blush on his cheekbones but he’s too worried about the fact that you’re hurt! How did this even happen?!?! He’s getting you one of those shower mats the next time he heads out to the store.

Raz: It literally never occurred to him that you could have fallen. He thought there was an attacker of some sort and came in guns blazing, ready to throw down. Ah..no attackers...just crush laying naked on the bathroom floor. Ok. Right. He’s literally bluescreening rn. He rigidly helps you up and then leaves very quickly. He’s...been staring at a wall ever since. I think you broke him.

Rus: I mean, yeah...it’s kinda awkward...but you need help so...He’s averting his eyes the entire time. Might even throws his jacket on you just so he can help you out better. 

Plum: He’s...annoyed? How on earth did you fall like this to the point where you hurt yourself?! He huffs and rolls his eyes before helping you up to your feet and checking to see if you're ok to walk. Only on his way out do you see the faintest hint of purple on his cheekbones.

Cash: He’ll walk in probably half asleep with a drink of some sort in hand and then blink at you before he realizes. “Oh snap, you’re naked.” He’ll haphazardly slap a hand over his one good socket and proceed to try and help you up before leaving. Stuff like that doesn’t really affect Cash that much.

This is super personal but I'mma rant into the void anyway.

So, heads up for relationship trauma, s-xual & romantic orientation questioning, & general existential crisis.⚠️

So....

I don’t experience s-xual attraction. But I have a “normal” s-x drive & I’m not repulsed. The thing is, honestly....

with the right person, & with consent, I’d probably still Do The Do™. But for me there’s never gonna be attraction or s-xual fantasies (I don't get any of that, I just...don't 🤷‍♂️). It’d be purely consent. I consent to participate, & he or she or they (maybe multiple people too, I love the idea of having 2 partners) consent(s) to participate, & we just...are intimate together. No attraction needed.

And then for romance, it’s like....more confusing & complex.

Because I want //a// romantic relationship. I love the idea of romantic QPRs. But I also like.....I don’t get romantic attraction, I think, but I eventually fall in love. I don’t ever start a friendship or relationship looking for romance, & I don’t feel drawn to people that way, & I don’t even view them as more than a friend for....years.

The first 4 or 5 relationships we had were toxic, because we were in a bad place seeking our worth from other people & allowed our boundaries to be disrespected. The 5th/6th wasn't toxic, but it still took around a year for us to fully fall & start getting flustered & being excited to hear from them. But we still didn't get ✨butterflies in the tummy✨. We got more of a peaceful “I can see me spending the rest of my life with you”, which...could also be platonic.

So ¿if we don’t fall in love until we’ve already been dating for a minimum of a year, was the first year or two unintentionally romantic QPR?

& if we're right, if we're aromantic, then....¿what would that mean?

Because we still love participating in & consenting to romantic interactions & things that are usually exclusive to romantic relationships. Kisses, (& I know cuddles can be romantic for some,) dates, flirting, etc. But if we don’t get attraction, & other people do, then it wouldn’t be fair for them to be in a relationship with me when I can’t reciprocate all the feelings that they get. The attraction. But I can still fall. I still want romantic love in general. I can reciprocate feelings, yet my interest is more difficult to keep because I can move on fast since there’s no attraction. & if that’s true, ¿is it fair to ask anyone for the level of attention & love that it would take? ¿Would we ever be able to be in a relationship?

And then there’s being a mentally ill, disabled, & neurodivergent multiplicity system. We’re a lot. & we can no longer hide & mask it all. We have to be open about all of it....but it's a lot for even us, let alone potential partners.

There’s around 700 of us right now. When we felt safer there was still around 200 of us. We doubt we'll ever have less than 20 people, & plan to heal towards functional multiplicity (meaning we’ll never be just one person). We have varying levels of trauma, trust issues, & touch starvation. We would (& have) interact similarly to or extremely different from one another around/with a romantic partner.

We're a lot.

So ¿would we ever be able to have a partner, or multiple partners? ¿Would anyone love us despite (or even because of) it all?

& it’s no longer than feeling that I’m/we’re unlovable. I love myself. I know I’m lovable. I adore my headmates & know they’re lovable. Now it’s just....self awareness & an existential crisis.

We're a walking contradiction & always will be.

& we can accept that. But we’d like to have partners that accept it too & love us in spite of & because we’re complicated & too passionate & messy & a lot. We’d love to find singlet allies (who don’t just think it's Cool™ that we’re Different™, & don’t think we’re all the same person or just pieces of one broken person), & to finally have a partner / partners who stay(s).

I have always wanted an artwork of the glass cities in Synchra! But that much glass is so far out of my skill set xD Haha. I DID build part of Feron in minecraft years ago though (but I think it got deleted by mistake 🙃). Fun times.

I would love to see something like Clemens standing in front of the Tracking Agency with a fancy glass shelter around the building and the silver tracking system - everything just reflecting all these colors.

I would honestly love to commission @zephyrine-gale one day for something Broken Locks related like this. She uses such pretty color palettes in her work and her style is absolutely gorgeous! Like, JUST LOOK AT THIS. AND THIS. I'd love to see how Synchra would look in her art style!
