it's aiko! finally ... finally sharing a milkbread with eiji? no way...

a look of genuine confusion flashed across his features as the opened package of milkbread silently slid across the table toward him. of all the times he delivered milkbread and matcha, the tiny libero was more content with slowly eating the pastry on her own as he played his mobile games across from her. not that he minded, he ENJOYED the comfortable silence that settled over them as they enjoyed each other's company. but what was different today?

he slowly raised his gaze from the offending package to meet her eyes, instead of being greeted with her usual icy gaze she was staring at him expectantly. almost as if she wanted to know what he thought about her BELOVED milkbread. for as long as he's known her, there were three things he learned to never interfere with which were: her love for matcha flavoured drinks and milkbread, her determination for saving each and EVERY ball in volleyball despite the odds, and her desire to wear his jackets despite disappearing in them due to her smaller frame. but maybe this once, he'll break his unspoken rules set in place.
