Those in italics have five or more pieces of usable visual, written, or audio propaganda already. If you have any visuals like photos or videos, or if you have something to say in words, submit it to this blog before round one begins on June 25th!
If you don't see a name you submitted here, it's because most or all of their career was as a child/they were too young for the cutoff, their career was almost entirely after 1979, or music was something they only dabbled in and are hardly known for. There are quite a few ladies on the list whose primary career wasn't "recording artist" or "live musician," but released several albums or were in musical theater, so they've been accepted.
Here we experience the first sigs of memory loss. This stage is most like a beautiful daydream. The glory of old age and recollection. The last of the great days.

The second stage is the self realisation and awareness that something is wrong with a refusal to accept that. More effort is made to remember so memories can be more long form with a little more deterioration in quality. The overall personal mood is generally lower than the first stage and it a point before confusion starts setting in.

Stage 3 - Hag
Here we are presented with some of the last coherent memories before confusion fully rolls in and the grey mists form and fade away. Finest moments have been remembered, the musical flow in places is more confused and tangled. As we progress some singular memories become more disturbed, isolated, broken and distant. These are the last embers of awareness before we enter the post awareness stages.

Rio de Janeiro is betting on Carnival for 'cooler' parties – and a better Brazil
Rio's government made its most significant investment yet in 2024's Carnival. If it pays off, everyone wins.
Rita de Cassia Oliveira takes a brief pause to reorganise a display of colourful earrings, before returning to serve a group of tourists. They're picking out shiny shorts and sparkly bikini tops for this year's Carnival street parties. During this period, Oliveira swaps her usual swimwear merchandise for Carnival outfits, and expects February's income to double compared to other months.
"It's the best time of year for those who work on the streets," she says as she arranges pots of glitter at her outdoor stall on a busy Copacabana street corner.
Shopping in Rio de Janeiro amps up in the weeks leading up to Carnival. The festivities attract swarms of national and international tourists who come for the world-famous parades and block parties. Yet it's more than just fun – for Brazil, it's a financial boon. Tourists spend millions during Carnival, helping generate tens of thousands of temporary jobs in the city.
This year, Rio de Janeiro is estimated to rake in an historical high of 5.3bn reais (£846m; $1.06b) from tourism-related activities in February. The state government has made the largest investment yet in the 2024 Carnival preparations and celebrations: 62.5m reais (£10m; $12.5m). The infusion of capital has created a record number of jobs, shored up infrastructure to support tourism and is expected to establish long-term social improvements within the city.
"For every one Brazilian real invested in tourism in Rio, it brings a three to fourfold return," says Ronnie Costa, the president of Rio's tourism board Riotur.
Costa tours the food rescue initiative OzHarvest and meets the team transforming waste into taste.
OzHarvest is the biggest supplier of rescued food in Australia and it’s where food, gardening and community come together. In 2004 Ronni Kahn developed the idea to rescue fresh food destined for landfill and over 20 years they've delivered more than 225 million meals to hungry Aussies. Ronni says, “I saw food waste in my business and one day decided to do something about it, not even imagining that this is what would come out of it... I didn't realize the scale of waste; I didn't realize that food waste feeds climate change. I thought I'd start a social organization but very soon I realized it was also an environmental organization.”
Australia wastes 7.6 million tons of food a year. OzHarvest rescues 250 tons a week which Ronni says, “is the equivalent of two blue whales, if you just want to imagine quantity.” The national figure of 7.6M tones is caused one-third by farms, one-third by industry and one-third by households “so we really do have a huge role to play,” says Ronni. Every day the team set off in their iconic yellow vans to collect and distribute donated food from their Sydney base in Alexandria. They collect from everywhere in the food supply chain including farmers, supermarkets, manufacturers and wherever food is served or produced. Ronni says, “we deliver that out to over 2000 charitable organisations, but that's not all that we do. Our education arm is hugely important.”
In addition to a school program called Feast, OzHarvest delivers community team-building programs called Cooking for a Cause. Here people gain essential cooking skills, such as proper knife-handling techniques and how to use every millimetre of food put in front of them. Dishes made in these programs are tasted by the learners and then sent out to people in need. Ronni says, “this is dignity and respect in a container.” OzHarvest chef, Mark Hamilton, says, “this is what I like to do... teaching them little tips and tricks about food waste and giving them new skills in the kitchen.” Participant Lucinda says, “I’m amazed that all this food was donated for one thing, that we could turn it into such a delicious-looking meal and learn some fabulous skills from Chef Mark. I hope our team are really happy with what we've done, and that the people at the end of the line enjoy the food.”
A lot of the produce is also grown on-site in a raised kitchen garden. They grow fruit trees, vegetables and a wide range of herbs, with a focus on growing produce that is less likely to be donated fresh. It’s run entirely by volunteers and garden team leader, Ruth Dexter, says, “it's been a case of experimenting with what will grow here, with the limits we have with sunshine, water and being stuck in the middle of an industrial estate.” Garden team leader, Edgar Liu, says, “we also try to grow things that have multiple purposes, like the fennel for example. We can get the bulb, we can use the fronds, the pollen, and even the seeds.”
Reflecting on what OzHarvest has achieved, Ronni says, “I'm actually in awe of what it has become. My intention was to stop food waste, do that for a little bit until I’d solved the problem, but I didn't realize the scale of the problem. I look around and see all our programs and our masses of volunteers, a staff now of over 300 people; it blows my mind, but the truth is the need is there. All we’re here to do is service and have the greatest impact we can. I think if I have one message it's that every single one of us can play, and must play our part.”

The year is 1990. George H. W. Bush finished his second year as president, Pretty Woman just hit theaters — and Jurassic Park is on schedule to open its gates to the public in four years time. It’s been trial and error for the past ten years. Leasing Isla Nublar from the Costa Rican government, learning genome sequences, and figuring out the best way to care for their animals. All while sparing no expense.
But now, they’re ready to introduce their first batch of live dinosaurs into the park — and they need some new staff members.
Exotic wildlife veterinarian DR. RONNIE BRADSHAW — who has worked in zoos, wildlife reserves, and animal sanctuaries all over the world. Not to mention her own brother is a paleontologist, making her dinosaur knowledge substantial in comparison. These made her perfect for the job. And as someone always looking for a new challenge, when John Hammond himself called to offer her the position (with a substantial pay raise) she accepted easily.
Junior game warden JAKE SERESIN — who has been working in Kenya for the past ten years with Robert Muldoon. He knows little to nothing about dinosaurs, except that the triceratops was his favorite as a kid. He only accepted the job because Muldoon offered to take Jake with him as part of his team. It would take him closer to home in Texas and offer a new challenge with wildlife that has never been controlled before. That has never been seen before by man.
But what neither of these new workers knows is the danger that lies around the corner at the park, and what they could possibly mean to one another.
scars: how many scars does my muse have? where are they located on my muse’s body? how did they get them? what do they look like?
All About Health Meme
Though she wasn't his doctor - perhaps because she wasn't his doctor - Ronnie didn't mind Miss Kit. It was Doctor Prince really, but she'd given him Kit to use for her one morning when they'd made small talk over the disgusting state of the tea selection at the hospital's Costa, and his mind had just sort of stuck that as a sticky note over the label on its box for her. And with that change came another, more obvious one. There was no miraculous opening up to the woman; no fairy-tale parting of clouds or lifting of the Intense Paranoia Ron felt whenever he was within breathing distance of The Maudsley. But he could tolerate her asking him questions about himself and his life a degree of magnitude better than he could any of the clinicians assigned to sort him out. That was something at least.
That was progress.
Her query about scars didn't come from nowhere. She'd clocked the few that littered his knuckles; the one that split the knuckle on his rightmost little finger. And she'd wondered, bless her, in that gentle kinda way good people have about them, how he'd got 'em. If he had more.
He did. Have more.
But he'd not show her. And he'd not tell her either. There was too much she might glean from the fights he'd earned the ones on his hands from; too much she might imply (wrongheadedly perhaps, though he didn't know her mind any more than she knew his) from the scratched furrows on his forearms and the horror that lived on the inside of his left elbow. There was pain he'd not revisit where a steel toed boot once split his chin in two, and that'd come, in his hair now, from a battle gone too far as a young lad whose twin brother'd got rough round a curb and almost topped him without meaning to. He'd not show her those things; not tell her those things. What she got instead, after a pause that must've lasted ten and then some seconds, was-
"Yes."
If she wanted more...well. He'd play up his alogia.

The aforementioned ladies are accepting propaganda for their next posts. To give folks some time to prepare any sort of written/visual/audio propaganda for submission to my asks, Round Two will begin at midnight PST on July 10th.
[first lines; the screen shows a dark background as Lightning McQueen's voice is heard, inhales and exhales deeply]
Lightning McQueen: Okay, here we go. Focus. Speed. I am speed.
[The screen then shows some racecars whizzes past on a racetrack, then goes back to dark again]
Lightning McQueen: One winner. 42 losers. [The Tempest plays] I eat losers for breakfast.
[The screen then shows McQueen from the back of his left side as he car accelerating and gains on a racecar. Then the screen goes dark again]
Lightning McQueen: Breakfast? Wait, maybe I should have had breakfast? A little breckkie could be good for me. No, no, no, stay focused. Speed!
[The screen then shows racecars whizzes along the racetrack as the camera moves to the right. The screen then goes dark again]
Lightning McQueen: I'm faster than fast, quicker than quick! I am Lightning!
Mack: [pounds on his trailer door] Hey Lightning, are you ready?
LightningMcQueen: [the trailer door opens] Oh, yeah. Lightning's ready.
[McQueen revs his engine, and his different body parts are shown as he drives slowly out of the trailer with his face visible. He then revs his engine again as the crowd cheer. The camera then shows the audience on the stadium seats, then an aerial view of the Motor Speedway of the South circuit, then a cameraman aiming a camera at the circuit. The camera then shows McQueen on the television screen on the scoring pylon. Then the camera shows the circuit from as high as the audience seats, and zooms in on McQueen]
LightningMcQueen: Ka-chow!
[The camera then shows the race, Ronnie Anne Dancing, Shows Universal Pictures & Nickelodeon Movies Presents" text as it shows the cars zooming and whooshing along then it shows "A Spin Master Entertainment Productions" text as the blue wheel runs.]
Then it shows "CARS" text.
[McQueen then overtakes six cars. He then gets blocked by two cars named Floyd Mulvihill and Rusty Cornfuel, and rides his right wheels on the wall to overtake the two cars. The camera then shows McQueen on the television screen on top of the scoring pylon as he winks, Mia and Tia screams, the camera then shows the audience cheering, then it skips to a truck named Brian selling some souvenirs]
Brian: Get your antenna balls here!
[The camera then shows the racers whooshing along, then it shows some RVs, the camera zooms in on two RVs named Larry and R.M., who are cheering]
Doug R.M.: You got that right, Slick. [whistles]
[Then the camera shows some of the racers in the pits as the air wrenches are heard whirring. It goes to different racers as they have their pit stops, and ends with one of the racers exiting back onto the track. The camera shows some people going into the toilets, as there is a long queue for the women. Then it shows in the crowd an RV named Elvis, who is dancing to The Tempest, the camera then shows Chick Hicks as he purposely hits a racer named Lee Revkins off the track, Lee Revkins grunts, and screams, slides away, the camera shows The King overtaking Chick, and he drives away revving his engine]
Bob Cutlass: [Then the camera shows Bob Cutlass and Darrell Cartrip, car versions of Bob Costas and Darrell Waltrip, announcing the race] Welcome back to the Dinoco 400, I'm Bob Cutlass, here with my good friend, Darrell Cartrip, we're midway through what may turn out to be a historic day for racing.
Darrell Cartrip: Bob, my oil pressure's through the roof right now. If this gets anymore exciting, they're gonna have to tow me outta the booth!
Bob Cutlass: Right you are, Darrell. Three cars are tied for the season points lead, heading into the final race of the season. And the winner of this race Darrell, will win the season title and, the Piston Cup. Does The King, Strip Weathers, have one more victory in him before retirement?
Darrell Cartrip: He's been Dinoco's golden boy for years! Can he win them one last Piston Cup?
Bob Cutlass: And, as always, in the second place spot we find Chick Hicks. He's been chasing that tailfin his entire career.
Darrell Cartrip: Chick thought this was his year, Bob. His chance to finally emerge from The King's shadow. But the last thing he expected was... Lightning McQueen!
Bob Cutlass: You know, I don't think anybody expected this. The rookie sensation come into the season unknown. But everyone knows him now.
Darrell Cartrip: Will he be the first rookie to win a Piston Cup and land Dinoco?
Bob Cutlass: The legend, the runner up, and the rookie! Three cars, one champion!
[The camera then shows the racers. Chick is trying to overtake Strip Weathers, who was blocking his way. McQueen then catches up to Chick as they try to get ahead of one another]
Chick: No, you don't. [McQueen then moves to the left and finally overtakes Chick's, McQueen chuckles, Chick then gains on McQueen. Chick Hicks then bumps McQueen, causing him to slide off the track onto the infield. The crowd is heard booing to what had happened.]
Fans: Oohh. What a ride!
Chick Hicks: [laughs]
Fans: Go get 'em, McQueen! Go get 'em! We love you, Lightning! [whistles, McQueen then drives back on the track, behind all of the other racers. Chick then looks back to see McQueen far behind him.]
Chick Hicks: Dinoco is all mine. [bumps Winford, slides into the wall, and collides with all of the other racers]
Darrell Cartrip: Trouble, turn-3!
Chick Hicks: [chuckles] Get through that, McQueen.
Bob Cutlass: Oh, a huge crash behind the leaders!
Fans: [gasps as The Tempest ends, the camera then shows all of the different racers as they collide, with one flying through the air, and one losing its tire. Claude and another racer named Billy Oilchanger then stop, facing towards each other. Claude Scruggs giggles, grunts as he gets hit by another racer, gasps as another racer named Todd Marcus from Cars: Fast as Lightning comes towards him,Claude then gets hit by Todd, ending upside down on Todd's roof, Claude Scruggs and Todd Marcus screams, then the camera shows McQueen, who is driving through the wreckage and dodging the other racers.]
Bob Cutlass: Wait a second, Darrell. McQueen is in the wreckage.
Darrell Cartrip: There's no way the rookie can make it through! Not in one piece that is. [McQueen's continues dodging the other racers who are sliding across the track. Then he bounces on Claude's undercarriage up into the air, McQueen exhales deeply and having his tongue down. Then he moves his tire towards the audience, as a reflection of McQueen's bolt sticker shines on them]
Mia & Tia: Lightning, oh! [sighs]
Darrell Cartrip: [McQueen's then lands back on the ground.] Look at that, McQueen made it through!
Bob Cutlass: Man, a spectacular move by Lightning McQueen.
Albert Hinkey: Yeah McQueen! Ka-chow![honks his horn, while the crowd members around him are disgusted by his loud noise]
Bob Cutlass: While everyone else heads into the pits, McQueen stays out to take the lead!
Chuck Armstrong: Don't take me out Tow. I can still race! [The camera then shows most of the other racers having a pit stop. It then shows Chick, while his pitties are changing his tires.]
Chick Hicks: [chuckles] What do you think boys? A thing of beauty.
Chief Chick: McQueen made it through!
Chick Hicks: What?! [The camera then shows the TV screen, which McQueen is still on the track.]
Chick's coach: He's not pitting!
Chick Hicks: Come on, you gotta get me out there! Let's go, gotta get me back out there! Come on!
Bob Cutlass: McQueen's not going into the pits!
Darrell Cartrip: You know, the rookie just fired his crew chief. That's the third one this season!
Bob Cutlass: [The other racers are seen driving through the pit lane back onto the track] Well, he says he likes working alone, Darrell. [While Bob is talking, Chick is seen ending his pit stop as the other racers are driving past him, Chick then starts off, getting in the middle of the queue.]
Chief Chick: Go, go, go!
Bob Cutlass: Looks like Chick got caught up in the pits.
Darrell Cartrip: Yeah, after a stop like that, he's got a lot of ground to make up. Get ready boys, we're coming to the restart! [The crowd cheers as the race restarts with McQueen progressing through in first place. Meanwhile, Chick is struggling to get past the other racers, overtaking a racer named Greg Candyman, McQueen continues progressing through the race in the lead, after overtaking a racer named Ponchy Wipeout, then the King overtakes a white car named Matthew Overtaker. Finally, McQueen comes into the pits. His pit crew arrives, with the crew chief named Not Chuck, putting fuel into McQueen]
Not Chuck: We need tires now! Come on, let's go!
Lightning McQueen: No, no, no, no! No tires, just gas! [drives away]
Not Chuck: What?! You need tires, you idiot! [slams a tire onto the ground.]
Darrell Cartrip: Looks like it's all gas-and-go's for McQueen today.
Bob Cutlass: That's right. No tires again.
Darrell Cartrip: Normally I said a short-term gain, long-term loss, but it's sure is workin' for him. He obviously knows somethin' we don't know.
[The scene continues progressing through the race, with McQueen having a huge lead and starting the last lap.]
Bob Cutlass: This is it, Darrell, one lap to go and Lightning McQueen has a huge lead.
Darrell Cartrip: All he's got it in the bag. Call in the dogs and put out the fire! We're gonna crown us a new champion! [all cheering and whistling, Mia and Tia screams]
Lightning McQueen: Checkered flag, here I come! [Suddenly, one of McQueen's rear tires blows]
Darrell Cartrip: Oh, no! McQueen has blown a tire!
[crowd gasps]
Bob Cutlass: And with only one turn to go! Do you can he make it?
Not Chuck: You fool! [grunts and knocks down a cart of tires, McQueen is struggling to get to the finish line while his bare wheel causes sparks on the track. The camera then shows the King and Chick as they see McQueen's wheel on the TV screen with no tire.]
Roger Wheeler (The King's Crew Chief): [on radio] McQueen's blown a tire, McQueen's blown a tire! Go, go, go, go, go, GO!
Darrell Cartrip: [The King and Chick then go faster as McQueen is driving slightly slower with one tire lost, McQueen grunts as he falls and finally lands onto the ground, Bob leaves him grunting, suddenly, his other rear tire blows.] He lost another tire! The King and Chick are coming up fast!
Bob Cutlass: They're entering turn-3!
Lightning McQueen: Come on! [He grunts as he falls and finally lands onto the ground, the camera shows the other racers catching up.]
Darrell Cartrip: I don't believe what I'm watching, Bob! Lightning McQueen is hundred feet from his Piston Cup! [McQueen gasps and continuously does several jumps towards the finish line as the King and Chick are getting closer, Chick growls and finally gets beside the King, but not in front of him]
Bob Cutlass: The King and Chick rounding turn-4. [McQueen is still jumping continuously towards the finish line as the King and Chick get closer and closer.]
Darrell Cartrip: Down the stretch they come! And it's, and it's... [The King and Chick cross the finish line along with McQueen stretching his tongue out over it.]
Bob Cutlass: It's too close to call! Too close to call!
Darrell Cartrip: I don't believe it! I don't believe it!
Mia & Tia: Lightning! [Screams, all cheering]
Bob Cutlass: [while Darrell is talking] The most spectacular, amazing unequivocally, unbelievable ending in the history of the world! And we don't even know who won!
Darrell Cartrip: Look at that! [The officials are then shown watching replays of the finish at different angles. Meanwhile, one of the security officers, named Richard Clayton Kensington, notices someone watching them with a camera.]
Richard Clayton Kensington: Hey, no Cameras! Get outta here!
Bob introduces two Special Constables who are with the police for 2 weeks for four hours a day. They're on holiday from their other full-time jobs and are using it to help the police out! They're getting married in the next year but Reg advises Mary to dump Ronnie and come and see him. What an offer...! Yorkie is placed on Beat 4 with Ronnie and Mary gets landed with Taffy. Taffy asks why Mary and Ronnie aren't spending their holiday at Bridlington or Costa Packet but she tells him they can't afford a wedding and a holiday. Besides, they enjoy being part-time officers.
Claire has a "fruitcake" at the front desk and reports to Alec and Tom. Tom claims he's off fruitcake as he had one yesterday but Alec sends him through. The man waiting tells him he wants to confess to murder as he hit his wife with a hammer. Malcolm welcomes him into the back as the man reports that his wife has gotten him back however because she's haunting him.
Ronnie reckons he'd be a bad full time copper because he enjoys the 10 hours a month that he does but he doesn't think he'd enjoy it full-time. Mary on the other hand wants to sign up when they're married. They spot a black gentleman who they think is suspicious (he's literally just walking along the street!) carrying a bag. They shout over and he puts his hands up and assumes the position against a wall after dropping his bag before they even get near. "Why can't you guys leave me alone?" he sighs. Yorkie and Ronnie let the man they stopped go after searching him, with Yorkie smirking as he apologises if he's caused him any inconvenience. It's not exactly the greatest of apologies and it's obvious the man doesn't buy it either.
Taffy tells Mary she'll change her mind after 6 months on the job. He remembers when young Jim Jim first signed up all of 4 years ago. He also was super keen and wanted to help people and now he's behind a desk in CID despite saying he never wanted to be.
Tom reports upstairs to Frank that there's a man who claims he's killed his wife and that he wants to tell a senior officer. Bob claims he's not a nutter despite how it sounds. "Normal people don't go around hitting their wives over the head with a hammer. Normal people only think about it!" Frank sighs. He literally stops walking when Bob tells him that he claims to have murdered her in the mid-50s!
Taffy calls CAD for help with 2 people on drug-related charges. Mary runs her hands down her prisoner's body and catches her finger on something. Taffy draws her back and stops her from putting her hand near her mouth. He tells her that she should make her suspect empty her pockets and then 'pat search' (like that would stop any needle pricking them!) The suspect empties her pockets. There are 2 uncapped needles inside.
Frank and Tom interview the man who wants to confess to murder. He claims that he came home from work early to find his wife in bed with a lover. He didn't know who the man was though expects he was a lorry driver as she was forever going on about lorry drivers being real men and calling him weedy for having an office job. He says his wife laughed at him, the other man left and she went to go and make a pot of tea whilst still naked. She was covered in love bites and he was so angry that he hit her with a coal hammer.
Taffy tells Bob what happened on the shout. Mary is in with the doctors room with June. Bob talks to the doctor as this lady passes....
They make no reference to it at all and just carry on talking 🤣🤣
Frank and Tom now think the man reporting the murder is telling the truth. Frank needs it like a hole in the head... so he plans to assign it to Jim and his newbie, Alfred 'Tosh' Lines when Tosh arrives.
June tells Mary not to worry because not all addicts are infected. Mary tells her the needles were filthy. The doctor has sent the syringes for tests and they'll be back by tomorrow if not that evening. He's also going to check over both prisoners they brought in to see how they are. She's up to date with her most important vaccinations and the doctor says it's only a little nick. "... But enough..." Mary sighs with the doctor sadly nodding.
Ted catches up with Christine in the yard. He opens the door for her and tells her he can think of a better way to start the morning than a meeting with a dreaded solicitor. "I'm sure you can...." Christine says cooly, walking off ahead.
Tosh arrives and introduces himself to Ted, telling him to call him Tosh as everyone does, including his wife.
The doctor tells Charles that the prisoners are currently unable to give consent to give blood to be tested and without consent, he can't go much further. Charles lets him get on until they are ready, satisfied that everything that can be done is. Mary is now helping out behind a desk with the rest of the team trying to support her.
Frank asks Charles for a word about the 30-year-old murder, however Charles only has three minutes before a meeting. "Well, it's waited 30 years. It can wait another hour!"
Taffy goes back out with Malcolm and he admits he's feeling guilty as he should have made sure she knew what she was doing before she searched the suspect. They stop a motorist who doesn't have a road tax yet as he says he only bought the car last week. He doesn't have any of the other info either and claims it's harassment. Taffy writes him up and asks him to report to the police station with the required paperwork. Interestingly he gives the same name as the man that Yorkie and Ronnie stopped that morning...
Frank and Tosh catch up as they know each other of old. Frank is amazed to hear that Tosh has 5 kids now with Tosh claiming he only has to tell his wife a dirty joke and she's pregnant. He then introduces Jim and Tosh and assigns them to the 30-year-old murder.
Charles, Christine and Derek have a chat before a meeting with a rather rottweiler-like solicitor who has a complaint under the stop and search guidelines. Her client has been stopped 11 times by the police in 2 weeks. Charles tries to keep the meeting on a positive note, but Ms Barnscroft reveals that her client has reported that he's been stopped a further 2 times since her last report to Sun Hill. That's now 6 times by officers from Sun Hill and 13 in total. Those two were both from that morning.
Tosh reckons that the old man did murder his wife but Jim thinks he's a reader with a fertile imagination and a fantastist. No one has reported her missing. "The perfect murder..." "Not quite, she came back to haunt him." The address where Baxter reports murdering his wife has been torn down and a tower block has been built in its place. She's buried under the new flats! Tosh asks Jim to drop him at the nearest town hall and then directs him to return to the station and speak to Baxter again. Find out who his doctor is and check his medical reports. See if he is listed as married or widowed or single etc. See if there's a marriage certificate and trace his wife's background. "That'll take ages." "Being a good copper does, Jimbo!"
Christine heads to CAD. She wants to know if any officers call anything in to do with a man called Kingsley, especially if he's black. She also asked for Yorkie and Ronnie to return to the station so they could be spoken to about their stop and search of Mr Kingsley.
The doctor hears from the addict's GP, the addicts are both registered and their most recent blood tests were clear of infectious diseases. The problem is that that was over 6 months ago.
Charles has been able to speak to Frank about the old murder and he invites Tosh into his office to officially welcome him. Tosh shows them the blueprints of how the area was before the tower block of flats was built. The description that Baxter gave tallies with the layout of the old drawings.
Ted takes the opportunity to approach Christine and asks her on a date. She tries to dismiss him as she has a meeting and tells him it's not the time or place if it's not job-related. "Unless you let me take you to lunch or at least a drink it never will be the right time or place will it...Ma'am?"
Charles has another meeting with Ms Barnscroft (Frank tells him he feels sorry for him and that she's 'one stroppy lady, Guvnor!') Tosh tells Charles that he once had a similar case in Catford. A group of brothers each gave the same name and address each time they were stopped. It was proven through evidence when a complaint was made.
In an interview, Baxter tells Jim that he hid the body of his late wife under the floorboard alongside the hammer. He's reporting it now in the hope that his wife will stop haunting him during the night. Tosh enters the interview room and tells him "You are what we call a pain in the arse." Although they've found proof of the wife's existence they've not found any evidence of a potential murder and all that there is is his confession. He says the house didn't smell and it was left empty for a year before they were demolished. She only started haunting him five years ago. He sees her head bashed in, still covered in love bites in his visions. He starts getting angry calling her an old slag and asking why she doesn't leave him alone.
Bob takes Ronnie aside after he's seen Brownlow and explains what has happened to Mary. He reminds him that it's nothing definite and they won't know for some time. Bob tells him to go out and support Mary and try and keep her positive. The chances of there being a problem are statistically low. However, neither of the prisoners will agree to take a blood test.
Ms Barnscroft refuses to believe that she's been lied to at first but has to face facts when another station reports that the same Mr Kingsley was in 'two places at once'. Charles then brings the meeting to an end before she and Derek can begin arguing.
Mike is amused that Ted is interested in Christine and teases him that he's never seen him so enthralled by a woman before. Frank reports to the gathered officers that they've had to bail the apparent murderer for 30 days as all they have, still, is his confession, a marriage certificate, and medical records. He's got cancer and only has a few weeks left to live according to his doctor. He's likely to die before they get any further. Ted makes his excuses and leaves with Frank shouting after him not to expect too much on the first date but he's quids in for the second though. Mike insists he didn't tell him but Ted looks unimpressed and tells Frank where to go before leaving.
