Jaemin hears the voices from downstairs, waiting for his wife and daughter to walk in the kitchen where he's currently baking cupcakes for Heejin's school day.

"Daddy, we're home"

He turns around to face the two of you, his two girls smiling widely at him. Heejin reaches out for him, immediately getting Heejin from you to give him her after daycare cuddles and kisses

"There's my baby princess, how was daycare today? Did you have so much fun? You didn't cry?" he ask in between kisses on her face. Meanwhile you watch the adorable scene between your husband and his mini me.

"She didn't cry, her teacher told me and she got a star"

"Wah you did? Can appa see it?" he asks the little girl in his arms, Heejin holds out her hand to show the star sticker on the back of her hand

"Wow, that's great! I'll give you a cupcake since you're very good" he promises Heejin, you give him a strict look but you let it slide.

You and Jaemin are on the same page when it comes to raising your daughter. You rarely have any arguments, but there are times Jaemin folds whenever Heejin wants something. Like giving her sweets, or letting her stay up past her bedtime.

You really can't beat the dad-daughter duo, they both know how to make you say yes. One look at you with their round eyes, you're nodding your head to whatever wish they have.

"Also Heejin got something to say" you tell Jaemin, walking towards the fridge to get a drink while Jaemin sets Heejin on the counter

"What is it, baby?"

"I got a boyfwiend" her little baby voice says happily.

Immediately Jaemin's smile changes while you try to hold in the laughter. He looks over at you then back at Heejin

"You don't have a boyfriend"

The little girl frowns at her dad, "I do have my boyfwiend" she says a bit louder this time

You can't help but laugh, Jaemin looks over at you with a glare clearly not amazed with the situation but to you it's very hilarious.

"You don't have a boyfriend" he sternly says, Heejin then sobs then reaches out for you.

You step closer to give her some comfort while Jaemin stands beside you, still not done with his argument with his 4 year old daughter.

"Aw love, what's wrong? who made you cry?" you ask her, patting her hair. The Little Na looking up at you with teary eyes

"Daddy says.. daddy says i don't have boyfwiend" she says in between sobs. At this point you can't help the big smile on your face, your daughter is being so adorable right now.

"But you do have a boyfriend?" you ask her, giggling.

Jaemin playfully pinches your waist, you brush him off while you watch Heejin nod her head "You do? What's his name?"

"Ji-hun" she says with her lips cutely pouting

You laugh again, enveloping her with a hug and kissing her head. Looking over at your husband to see him with an opposite expression on his face, "Yah, they're kids. Just go with it" you whisper

"She's four, she's my babygirl" he grumbles, taking Heejin from you to hold her again

"You're not allowed to have a boyfriend until you're 50" he tells her seriously. To little Heejin, it doesn't really make any sense apart from meaning she doesn't get to be right this time which she doesn't like.

This makes her cry again but doesn't move from her father's embrace

"Boys will make you cry then I have to beat them up then dad will have boo boo's. Do you want dad to have boo boo's?"

"No" she answers, hugging Jaemin quickly. She's always been a worried baby, if she feels like either of you are in danger she gets very anxious and starts to cry. When she was a baby, she hated seeing Jaemin on his bike. She thought he was going to fall.

"Okay then don't get a boyfriend okay? Pinky promise" he holds out his pinky towards Heejin, the little girl sealing the promise

"I can't even imagine how you would be when she actually starts dating" you tease him

"Don't start with me. I'll actually fight them"

You laugh, joining in their hug. Jaemin wraps one arm around you while the other holds Heejin, both of his girls in his arms.

"And I love you for that, but one day she's going be a big girl and would fall in love just like I did. With you" you tell him, giving him a kiss on the cheek

He looks at you, his eyes full of love and adoration like they always have ever since you met. "Well then as long as she falls in love with someone who loves her the way I love you, then I guess I'll be okay. That's still a maybe though, no one deserve our baby girl"

You smile at him, kissing him again this time on the lips then giving Heejin a kiss also on her chubby cheeks "I love you more, both of you. How about we finish baking these then let's have a cuddle night the three of us?"

SEASONS OF BLOSSOM: HAMIN'S FLOWER: modern, high school au, major character death, summer love? so fem lead and male lead are two opposite kind of students at school ml is popular and a topper while fl is kinda average and very interested in arts and painting. for a long while they meet up in the art room during lunch because fl does not have friends and spends the break painting while ml wants to escape the fake people have some time alone. they become friends and ml realizes he really likes painting because it makes him feel free so during summer break he joins her art club outside school and they have their romance? phase after his parents find out he stops and things happen and he commits suicide. fl after years comes as teacher in the same school and through his younger brother finds the truth which is heartbreaking and finally gets her closure. completed, there's a kdrama on this with the same name highly recommend checking it out, though prepare your tissues. 📌📌

ETERNAL LOVE: hidden love brother's story, modern, kinda like frenemies to roomates to lovers?, i don't remember much fem lead and male lead are classmates in high school who used to not be fond of each other and later as adults things happen and he becomes her roommate because his apartment is like undergoing renovations or something? there's some misunderstandings and miscommunications but it's a really good read though the art is changed in this from hidden love. ongoing.

BRIDE OF HABAEK: fantasy, god falls for human sacrifice au??? do not remember much i read it long back but like the fem lead is offered as bride sacrifice to the water god and thrown into some well or something and when she wakes up she's in his realm and he's like a child? he also has his adult form but around her he's in child form and she does come across him in adult form but does not know it's him. i don't remember more details but it's slow burnnnn and interesting pretty different from the kdrama. ongoing or completed? no idea but there's a hella lot of chapters and it's black and white.

GIRL AND HER GUARD DOG: first of all this is not for everyone help,, pls don't judge me for liking it (⁠〒⁠﹏⁠〒⁠) modern, she falls first and he falls harder trope, age gap like 5 years. fem lead parents die in an accident and she is brought to her grandpa's house whose a gangster and he gets one of his beloved men to take care of her. later when she grows up and goes to a distant city for school that man(male lead) follows becuz he's worried she might get in danger alone and enrolls as a student too through connections.

MY IN-LAWS ARE OBSESSED WITH ME: historical/royal, travelling back in time/rebirth, contract marriage, magic/curse. fem lead is killed by her family and husband for father's inheritance by a mysterious poison and when she wakes up again she has travelled back to two months. to protect herself and her inheritance she offers the powerful duke of the kingdom a marriage contract for one year but during that time her actions make her in-laws fall in love with her, everyone just adores her and refuses to let her go after a year. oh and male lead, the duke's family has a curse and she's immune to it somehow? ongoing.📌

Beifong babies appreciation post

This is gonna be a more self indulgent post. But if you spend any time on my blog, you know how much I adore the Beifong family, particularly Suyin and her children. And you know what I don't see enough appreciation for Suyin's babies, which makes sense, since they're side characters, but here's a lil ramble about them and some reasons why I love them.

Baatar Jr

Actually, I think Baatar is actually a very underutilised character for being Kuvira's supposed right hand man, as well as her fiancé.

He's technically the brains behind Kuvira's collosus, and probably much more.

As damaging as living in his father's shadow was for him, I do find it extremely adorable how he engineered all Baatar Sr's projects, it's really cute!

His loyalty to Kuvira and his love for her is admirable. It's honestly adorable, how much she means to him.

Btw mans stared into Korra's eyes while she threatened him im the Avatar state and laughed. Say what you want about him but he has balls.

The angst surrounding his involvement with Kuvira is absolutely delicious.

Like imagine turning your back on everyone you know and love for one person, only for then to turn on you and try to kill you with upur own creation?

And then everything you've worked for for 3 years is null and void? Gnarly

Also him being under house arrest with the family he betrayed? You could argue he got off really easy, which he did... but goodness gracious the angst.

Huan

I'm like 75% sure that he's a reference to The Dark One, one of Toph's metalbending students, which is actually really fun I love you emo metalbenders.

I always found non combative benders very interesting, especially when they use their bending for things like art, it's very cool.

While I think a Huan's character is made to mock "tortured abstract artists" a bit, he actually isn't terribly caricaturised?

Like... he has a pretty clear ideology and moral compass, and he sticks to his guns, even when threatened. He clearly values personal freedom and freedom of expression, and is willing to stand up for it.

I also love headcanoning that he had a close relationship with Aiwei. Since some of Huan's ideals match up more or less with Red Lotus ideology, which makes me wonder if Aiwei did subtly indoctrinate Suyin's children.

Huan and Ikki's friendship is really cute too lol.

His design is also really cool ngl

Opal

MY BABY AHHH 🧡 honestly my fave female tlok character.

Free her from the heterosexual love interest dimension she deserves so much better lol.

Like, I really dislike Bopal as a ship, and part of it is because of how much of a disservice it does to both characters. But most anti Bopal takes I see are also horrifically anti Opal.

Honestly, Opal just gets a surprisingly large amount of hate in genral? Like why? People call her annoying and a brat/ a knockoff Korra and she's barely done anything lmao

Opal's is very interesting, her journey to independence, her unseen development between B3 and B4, her firece loyalty to her family despite her separation from them

A lot of people criticise her attitude towards Kuvira, but honestly, she was quite rational in her anger? I also think she should have been allowed to hold a grudge against Bolin for longer, like yes he redeemed himswlf somewhat when rescuing her family, but it does feel really shallow and a fast way of tying up a pretty complex storyline.

Her arc reminds me very much of Toph's in atla, which is bittersweet since we see how that ended for Toph.

I love her lil pouty face ahh.

Wei and Wing

Genuinely. Might be my fave underdeveloped side characters.

Avatar has a habit of making very interesting twin duos and these two are no exception.

I really like their strong bond with their mother, they really are the most mamma's boys to ever mamma's boy.

Similarly to Opal, the twins' firece loyalty to their family and city is really sweet, but also there's a lot of potential for angst here. Like, Opal gets to see the world and adventure, but the twins are probably stuck in Zaofu forever.

The twins also are the only ones of their siblings upholding that "Beifong metalbender" archetype that Toph started. I think there is a bit of pressure on them, ad they are the "golden boys" of the family

I'm also a sucker for when benders work together/combine their skills so seeing the twins work together is really sweet.

Also. Gay™️. [Insert longass ramble about weilin lol]

I actually find the small differences in personality between them that we are shown. Where Wei is a bit more snooty and competitive, Wing is very playful and outward with himself. I like picking their differences apart.

Oh what a month for reading! Some really bad books, but also some candidates for favorites of the year! Had book club! That was fun as always! I also started TWO new fiber craft projects which I'm excited about. The Cabled crochet blanket is SO much fun and I'm really getting into the groove of it. I've learnt how to read crochet charts! Partially anyway. For this one project. It's clear I am still recovering covid because I can't do much else than sitting in bed reading lol But hey, I'm resting and having fun!

Envy of Angels by Matt Wallace ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - What a delightfully hilarious nugget of a book! Absolutely wacky! Definitely interested in the rest of the series, but it's also more of a Read When In Brain Fog so I want to save it for my bad brain days lol

Shadow of the Crown by Amber Morane ⭐ - Unpolished. Poorly written. The ending sucked. No redeeming qualities and I do not want to read more from this series or author. At least it was free.

Starter Villain by John Scalzi ⭐⭐⭐ - Another fun and silly book! Scalzi definitely has a way of writing that defines a Scalzi Book™️. Don't think too much about it, just enjoy the ride. Loved the cats, I think more authors should put genius cats into their books.

Firebreak by Nicole Kornher-Stace ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - CRYING. SOBBING. SCREAMING. Finally read this and I am in PAIN! Very good, very feelings, this is what Ready Player One could've been.

Flight & Anchor by Nicole Kornher-Stace ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - The Prequel to Firebreak, glad I read this second so that lines could hurt me more because I know how their stories end. I'm not sure what, but this one was missing something for me that made me enjoy it a little less than Firebreak, but I still enjoyed it a lot! A great duo!

His Majesty's Dragon by Naomi Novik ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Reread for book club! Still enjoyed it a lot! Still adore Temeraire and Laurence! The amount of times they call each other "my dear" so early melts my heart. I'd probably like this even more if I actually enjoyed historical fiction and the Napoleon wars.

Godkiller by Hannah Kaner ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - hey. Hi. Hello. What if Geralt was canonically a woman and the demon chicken from Nettle & Bone had a Voice. What. If. This book is a part of me now thanks bye!

Again, no clear goals for March. I"m honestly having a good time just reading with whatever I vibe with. I didn't get to the Ga'Hoole books in February, so I'll put those at the top of my potential list for March, but other than that? Who knows! I definitely immediately put myself on the libby waitlist for Sunbringer I need to know how Kissen, Elo, and Ina get on. I need to know they're all okay. Please let them be okay ;-;

If you have any recommendations for books like Godkiller I am ALL EARS! Might replay Witcher III about it in the meantime.

Ranking the Top-Rated Hazbin Hotel Ships Part 2 (Lesbian)

Chaggie. It's the classic one, how could I not like it? It's perfect for fluffy stuff, and hurt/comfort from when they first met, as well as any number of other things. It's very versatile and very cute.

BloomingGun. This one is just adorable, and it spans so many ship tropes. It's perfect for comedy, fluff, a battle duo, and of course, it's also kinda hot. Let these women get married.

MollyBomb. This one is really cute, I find - a party girl and a presumably sweet, well-behaved girl. Cherri can protect Molly and Molly can rein Cherri in. It's perfect.

Velmilla. I don't actually like this one because I ship it, or because I'm attracted to them. I like it because of the sheer chaos these shippers cause. It's fucking hilarious.

RoyalHalo. This one is just really cute and wholesome. I envy both of them so much, they're both so nice and that just seems like it'd be a really healthy, good relationship.

Misie. I never would've thought of this, honestly, but it does seems cute. I can't see them getting married or being together for more than a year or so, but they'd have a fun time together, I think.

FallenWings. I don't actually like this ship, but it's familiar to me because I watching SATPOP as a little one. No hate to shippers, I'm just not partial to it myself.

Emilute. This one is odd. It could go many ways. I can see it being angsty and sad, with Em watching Lute go down the rabbithole, but she could also be the light that heals Lute. There's potential.

CherriMoth. I can't really see this ever working. Vaggie doesn't like trouble, and Cherri is trouble personified. Funny as a crackship, not so much as an actual relationship.

Vagette. Maybe I'm biased by my unbridled hatred for both characters, but I don't like this one. It just seems to contradict itself on so many levels. But I have nothing against its fans.

Happy night before the WNBA regular season starts to everybody who celebrates! I've gotten a couple of asks about trying to get into the W and which teams to support etc. etc. The best way to actually get into it, as with anything, is probably to just start watching games and seeing what team you vibe with. But I also figured I'd give y'all a ranking of my support of teams based solely on my opinion, partly based on player/playing style and partly based on vibes.

New York Liberty: Listen, I'm not actually a Liberty fan if we're honest but Breanna Stewart is my GOAT, and my favorite player of all time. Therefore where she goes, I go. Also on the Liberty, we have JJ who I adore (and has apparently locked a new level) and Betnijah Laney who is so underrated but so fucking good. If you're gonna root for the Liberty, a reminder that Sandy Brondello might have coached a team to a championship, but it doesn't mean she isn't gonna make you question her coaching at least once every game. When the Liberty are great, they're GREAT. When they're not, well...

Connecticut Sun: The closest I have to a home team and home to the most versatile player in the country, Alyssa Thomas. Can do everything, will do everything and is still so underrated. Brionna Jones is back from injury this year and I'm so excited for her and DB to be a lethal frontcourt duo. And if you're here for the Huskies, MoJeff is back home baby and I have a feeling ONO is going to take a big step this year. The issue with the Sun is they are very much always a bridesmaid, never a bride meaning they make it to the semis/finals but never win, will things change? Stay tuned!

Seattle Storm: For the longest time, because of Stewie, this was my team and I'll always have a soft-spot for them. They've gone out and made themselves into a super team of sorts with a core-4 of SDS-Jewell-Nneka-Ezi and while the pre-season hasn't quite shown that super team, I think time to gel will make them as good as ever. They also have a young core that I'm really excited to watch them develop with Nika (MY GIRL MADE IT) and Jordan Horston. Seattle's culture is one of the best in the league and while they might not win this year, if you're looking to stan for a long time, Seattle, with new team ownership member Sue Bird, is a solid choice!

Minnesota Lynx: The dynasty in rebuild. If a man hadn't ruined it, this would still be Maya Moore's team and she would be the face of the league but I digress. You know who the Lynx do have though? Napheesa. Fucking. Collier. My girl has been underrated for so much of her career, robbed of so many things (*cough* NPOY her senior year *cough*) but watch, this year or the next, Phee is gonna make the league give her her things i.e she's gonna be MVP. Also in Minny, your all-Rookie team favorites Dorka and Diamond are back and my girl AP is also in the mix. Again like Seattle, this is a team with a solid winning culture and if you wanna be here a long time, Cheryl Reeve will figure it out.

Washington Mystics: No Elena Delle-Donne and Mike Thibault is clearly tanking for Paige (mans is literally admitting it this not an assumption) so if this is your team, you'll be good soon, but probably not this year. Despite that thought, the Mystics always just kinda figure it out a little bit and I'm excited to see how Shakira Austin develops. And of course my MVLi is on the Mystics and she's gonna get a lot of playing time and I'm just very excited for her.

Phoenix Mercury: The Mercury have no business being this high on any list I know but they have DT and BG and I'm always gonna love those two. How far can a coach whose only qualification is basically being a "girl dad" take a WNBA team? Well I guess we'll find out (it's looking unlikely). Also the potential for drama on this team is always high because if you've seen the infamous picture, they have Kahleah Copper and Sophia Cunningham, what could possibly go wrong right?

LA Sparks: Before we get into now, let's get into the past because this team once upon a time had Nneka-Candace-Chelsea and fumbled all three. Just think about that. ANYWAYS moving on, Curt Miller (traitor of all time) is an interesting character, some love him, some hate him, but most can agree he's relatively a good coach. I genuinely do not know what's gonna happen but I think Rickea and Cam have the potential to become one of the best duos in the league eventually. Also Kia Nurse? Apparently in a mood to be a menace and I'm here for it.

Dallas Wings: Arike and Satou. That is it. That is all. I personally think Dallas is one good move (idk what move but it definitely wasn't a good move to trade Crystal) away from becoming a perennial championship contender. Arike and Satou is a good duo to start with but they're missing something and I can't quite put my finger on it. Either way, this is team built for offense and when they're winning, it's fun to watch, when they're not well...it's a good thing I'm not that invested. ALSO LOU IS BACK FOR THEM THIS YEAR!!

Indiana Fever: Never underestimate the Fever's ability to fuck it up. A lot of new fans are about to realize that this franchise does not know what the fuck they're doing for the most part. You hope having two generational talents in AB and CC will change that and I genuinely hope it does, because I would love to have them higher on my list. But for now, with absolutely no trust in anybody on that coaching staff, I'mma just watch it play out and hope for the best. Also shoutout Nalyssa Smith who I think is gonna get overlooked but have a great season.

Las Vegas Aces: Is it blasphemous to have the reigning champs this low? Potentially but blasphemy is also in treating a pregnant woman like shit and not putting your teammate with domestic violence charges/allegations on blast. Listen I'm not a complete hater and I do genuinely think the world of A'ja Wilson and Chelsea Gray. But I hate their us vs the world mentality and I'm not a huge Becky Hammon fan (that woman can coach her ass off though). Despite all of that, Vegas is still a fun team to watch and I expect them to continue to be the best team in the league.

Chicago Sky: GOOD FUCKING RIDDANCE JAMES WADE. The Sky are this low for me solely because it feels like a brand new team. They've lost a lot and gained a lot and I'm so excited to see Angel and Kamilla be the twin towers. More than anything I'm very excited to see T-Spoon as their head coach. Ngl though, beyond that, nothing really moves me and the Sky as an organization, we all saw the press conference room, really, really, really don't move me.

Atlanta Dream: Honestly they just kinda dropped this low for no reason other than for some reason, I just don't really care about them? But it's also because I keep forgetting that they have Tina. Fucking. Charles on their team now, which means if I ever do this again, they'll be much higher because Tina Charles is AMAZING and I love her and she raises this ceiling of this team to something else. Also very excited to see Rhyne Howard progress along with her.

That was long for no reason really and I think it was more me ranting then anything of actual help but it's W season lovelies, prepare to potentially be sick of me! WBB IS BACK!!

Reccer Says: A wonderful combination of fun dynamics, messy relationship angst, sickfic goodness, and hot sex. Kingsley and Essek are such a good pair, I love their banter. The absolutely disastrous state of King and Caleb's relationship at the start is the fic is so heartaching, with the shadow of past Widomauk hanging over them. And the recently established Shadowgast compliments both of those duos so well!!! I adore the different complications that crop up along the way and the way they're all resolved in the end. Highly recommend! Also, the two previous entries in the series are excellent, though they're just Shadowgast on their own.

How does the traffic light trio handle babies? Since you know, Savage and Rumble exist (question for babies in general, not just the Savage and Rumble) (there got to be a cute nickname for this pair of twins)

MK loves babies! And they like him! He's always been an ethusiastic big brother since Bai He came into their lives as a toddler. He def strikes me as a kid who picked out his future childrens names decades in advance. When he first holds the Twins he just starts blubbering from the cuteness and kissing their little faces all over (affection reciprocated by the twins). Tends to spoil little kids with affection and treats. He def wants like 6 or 8 kids of his own when he grows up.

Mei is a solid Big Sister. Although she's good at handling little kids with all their rambunctious energy, she kinda gets deer-the-headlights around small babies. Like; "How are you this small??" and being a little scared that her dragon-ness scares them. The Twins adore their big sister and will climb all over her to show their love. Lots of physical activities and play time.

Red Son... he's terrified of babies. They're smelly, loud, sticky, and seem to hypnotize every rational being in the universe (Including his own parents). As a child he vowed never to have any of his own (much to DBK's dismay), and combined with being Guanyin's acolyte for so many years, he just assumed that he'd always dislike babies amd children in general. After all, he grew up with his own horror stories thrown back at him - why would he want his own Red Son? His opinions begin to shift however with the arrival of Rumble & Savage. The little shadowy mystic monkey Twins seemed to cast a spell on him. When he first held them, he sat still for nearly an hour just watching them sleep. ("Mother, Father. I changed my mind! I want at least 7 of these!" DBK and PIF were uber delighted). Like Mei he gets nervous about if his powers/appearance scares the babies, even more so cus of his fire. Takes a while before Mac and SWK can convince him to take off the oven mitts before holding one of the twins. Heavily values mental stimulation; is the first to bust out the flash cards and educational toys.

Btw: think i've seen the Rumble & Savage be called the Shadow Twins/Duo before?

Just a heads up, I'm a Jikooker, but I come in peace ✌️

I really like your blog because of how grounded and respectful you are of bts members. I feel like only reading Jikook bloggers opinions kinda traps me in an echo chamber, so it's really nice to question my interpretation of Jikook interactions with different perspectives (sometimes we gotta admit we're being delulu kkkk). Your blog is perfect for that 'cause you're very chill and bring very interesting points, so you quickly became my fav taekook blog. I'm sorry for all the jikookers who come here to make a fuss.

To clarify what I mean when I call myself a Jikooker, I believe Jungkook and Jimin have a very special bond, be it platonic or romantic, they are best friends and care deeply for each other. They're the only duo that actually makes me raise some eyebrows, however, at the end of the day, I don't know these people so what do I know? ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯ No matter who they're dating I'll always be happy for them and cheer them on.

Anyways, the reason why I'm here is 'cause I love Taekook's relationship and I wanna gush about it lol.

One thing that I noticed that's very sweet is that JK is very sensitive to how Tae is feeling, so you can frequently see, for example, Jimin not realizing when a joke hurt or annoyed Tae and JK coming in to defend and praise him. (Of course Jimin is very sweet as well, he has comforted Tae through his hardest times, he's just not good at reading Tae unless he expresses his feelings out loud)

That's why I think Taekook became closer than Vmin over the years. Now, I don't think Vmin is as close as they used to be because they don't understand each other well, but the way they hugged during Jin's military discharge made me remember that despite their distance, Vmin has a soft spot for each other. You know those friends who go months without talking but when a hard time comes, they're the first ones to be there for each other and vent out their feelings? I feel like that's Vmin.

Meanwhile, Taekook seems to understand each other very well. I'm not sure if it's cause they both show signs of possibly being nd, but Taekook just has a natural understanding of what the other means. You always see Jungkook and especially Tae, say things that shock and confuse the other members, but when you look at Taekook they frequently don't even realize the other said something "weird".

Ever since their talk in ITS, it's like Taekook became closer than ever. They bring up each other any time they can in interviews and lives, they hang out all the time and we got so many adorable photos of them together. I see a lot of people saying their interactions are awkward and they seem distant, but I think they're just not the most talkative people in general and are perfectly comfortable with silence, both of them are the type of people to let other people talk more and just respond once in a while. I think Taekook communicate through actions rather than words.

The only time I saw their interaction as awkward was that Livestream in 2020 where they were making those flowers(?)(I don't remember...) but even then I think it was more about their difficulty with conducting live streams than their relationship.

Ideas for an AU where Percy stays at Camp Jupiter to be preator and Reyna's boyfriend?

I received another ask about the same thing, don't know if it was you twice but here I go! :

Let's go with a scenario where percabeth are friends and Percy/Reyna would spend way more time together during HOO (for example with Percy staying way longer at Camp Jupiter (having him not renounce his post as praetor after he started getting accustomed to it) and Reyna joining the seven. They'd get together by the middle-end of BOO and would leave for Camp Jupiter after Camp halfblood got restored at best.

It took Reyna some time to get out of "war mode" after they defeated Gaia though. The whole relationship thing was hard for her to get into, only because it was a first. At first she tries to treat it as she would a professional partnership, but she quickly grows frustrated with herself and her way of doing things. Fortunately Percy, who at first let her go at her pace, notices her frustration and shame and, without explicitly stating it, starts organizing them dates and late nights moments where they're free to just be and enjoy a good time.

I said it again and again but those two would be the perfect pair of leader for camp Jupiter. Reyna has the authority, knowledge of the rules and traditions, high sense of planning and the respect of all soldiers. While Percy knows how to motivate troops and convince assemblies with his experience on the field. He's not afraid to speak up and having Reyna giving him all the info he needs to work his way into Roman life makes them a perfect pair.

I really see them having this perfectly in synch morning where they leave their praetor's houses, standing right next to each other, at the exact same time, go to breakfast together, know the other's order by heart, share some of it before heading to work.

At least on very crucial days where they need to be at their most efficient, otherwise, no you can bet Percy needs Reyna to bang on his door repeatedly before he's ready. Fortunately she plans for it just well and waits for him coffee in hand.

Percy definitely helps Reyna getting closer to the soldiers but also New Rome's citizens. After more than a year closed off into her office battling Octave and his plans, she has a hard time going to people and talking to them in a more casual setting. Fortunately Percy is super good at helping her out of her bubble.

Reyna insists on managing new communication system between Camp Jupiter and Camp Halfblood. They both work on opening New Rome's schools and universities to the Greeks but also have the idea to organize some "student exchanges" where Roman soldiers would spend a summer at camp halfblood. And sometimes, they like to go spend a week or two in vacation over there to see their friends, letting Frank and Hazel in charge while they're there.

Once the damage from the war fixed, they finally allow themselves some time. Reyna shows Percy all her favorite spots in the city and she listens to all his mythical or more ridiculous tales with as much interest.

It took sometime, but once Reyna starts to get at easy with the concept of holding hand, that Percy first initiated, she's the one taking his hand and refusing to let it go on all of their walks.

A detail that no one in New Rome ever misses and that no one can pretend to find to be anything but adorable.

What they both struggle the most with in their job is writing. With their ADHD they have a hard time focusing when they need to write reports and speeches. And what's funny is that it's when their duo is the most and least efficient ever. The most because they know and understand the other's struggle with the task and can support and advice each other when needed. And the worst because they both always want it to end as soon as possible, and if there's any DVD player nearby, their focus can very quickly shift.

My final thought would be that, personally, I don't see them retiring before some time, really. Reyna lives for this city and its protection, and I see Percy really hyperfixating on this job once he'd be at ease with all its aspects. I see them hand away their place when they'd think of building a family, something they might try to do outside of New Rome even, maybe to be closer to Sally, Paul and Estelle. They'd come back sooner or later though, to get closer to all their friends who ended up there.

How did Lando join the pack?

Lando joined the pack when he was about 21. He's 24 in snippet I posted when he leaves the pack. He meets Charles when he starts university around the age of 20, and Charles realises that Lando doesn't have any sort of pack, family or non-family. He starts bringing Lando around the pack, and the pack adore him. They all treat him like their littlest brother and eventually, Lando is asked to join them when his lease is up on the shitty little apartment he rents in the bad side of town.

Who are the pack leaders and members?

Lewis is the leader of their pack. He always wanted to start a pack and him and Fernando started it after met George, Alex, Pierre and Charles. Max joined later and brought Daniel with him who Lewis was a little wary if because Daniel was another alpha while Alex and Pierre are betas, and Max, George and Charles are omegas, but Dan fit right into the pack. Dan is normally head of pack if Lewis is away. Lando is the last to join

Is there another pack/rival?

Yes there is another pack (kind of) who live next door to Lewis and Fernando's. They are only separate in title and they mix packs quiet often and that is the pack led by Kimi but really run by his two mates, Seb and Jenson, and has Esteban, Lance, Mick, Kevin (and maybe others). The pack was formed when Kimi came home to Jenson and Sebastian having brought home Lance, Mick and Esteban and he just sighed and accepted that he now had a pack

There is also an evil pack but not a rival and only come into the story later when they find out Lando is gone 👀

Are their mated couples?

George and Alex are together and mated. Pierre and Charles are flirting/courting, but won't really admit to being together. Max is single and happy to let the pack help with his heats.

Daniel and Lando are secretly courting as in its very very new.

In the other pack, Kimi is an alpha mated to his chaotic omega duo Sebastian and Jenson. They are completely in charge but he loves them and loves making them happy even if they keep bringing new pack members home.

The others are undecided for now, but I do have the funniest 'mated pair' which is Lewis and Fernando.

In that they aren't mated. They're just friends who bicker like an old married couple and act like one. They actually bought the pack house and formed their pack after a drunken night out where Fernando was complaining about how as an omega, he was getting passed over for the bigger houses and Lewis was complaining about wanting a pack so they decided fuck it. Yet everyone believes they are a happily mater couple and refuse to believe them when they say they're not until they meet who Lewis is courting....

Where do they live and how do they manage/tensions within the pack?

Fernando and Lewis bought a big house in a suburb outside the city that they work in where there is a university which some of the pack attend. Some of them drive or they carpool in. Those that are actively working (more than part time) pay towards the bills and up-keep of the house while Lewis and Ferando (who have well paying jobs) pay for the mortgage on the house.

There are of course some issues/tensions. People fight and bicker but normally sort it out quickly. Sometimes they have big fights and Lewis, Fernando or both have to step in and mediate, but relatively they give each other space and then apologies and fix things.

The main tension was when Daniel joined way before Lando joined the pack because he was an unknown, unmated alpha and Lewis wasn't sure how he felt about it at first even with Max vouching for him and saying he wouldn't stay if Dan didn't

Modern!AU: CEO!Shen Tunan x Assistant!Wei Ruolai

Everyone, whether they're in the financial world or not, knows the name "Shen Tunan". He's a business tycoon and the richest man in the world, who also happens to be the CEO of billionaire companies.

He's so rich that people say he practically bathes in money.

The name "Wei Ruolai", though, may not be that famous -- but all the people who have and who want to do business with Shen Tunan have etched that name into their brains.

Wei Ruolai. Shen Tunan's assistant, aide, and confidant.

Shen Tunan trusts Wei Ruolai with every fibre of his being, taking his assistant with him to all meetings, be it important, million-dollar deals or a expensive galas.

But that wasn't all. Shen Tunan didn't just trust his assistant, no. He was also incredibly protective of him. All the upper echelons of society, the rich and the powerful, and the important stakeholders in the financial world had heard of The Incident.

It had happened about three years ago and involved Kang Shaojie, one of Shen Tunan's biggest rivals. Kang Shaojie wasn't as rich as Shen Tunan, but he had been in the business far longer and was even involved with the mafia, smuggling drugs and trafficking sex slaves. It was almost common knowledge that Kang Shaojie's methods weren't clean, and those who crossed his paths would face the wrath of Kang Shaojie's mafia friends.

Shen Tunan's latest moves had caused waves in the economic industry, and suffice to say, Kang Shaojie didn't like it one bit, so he wanted to teach him a "small lesson". This lesson involved kidnapping Shen Tunan's assistant, Wei Ruolai, who was new at the time, and beating him to make him spill the company's secrets.

When this incident happened, many people thought it wasn't a big deal. Who was Wei Ruolai? He was just a small assistant, Shen Tunan was the wealthiest man alive and he could have anyone he wanted as his assistant.

His friends and business partners told him to stay away from this matter. Kang Shaojie wouldn't really kill Wei Ruolai, right? He'd probably just beat him within an inch of his life... Later on Shen Tunan could just give compensation to his assistant and not pursue the matter any further.

Everyone thought that Shen Tunan would do just that. Even Kang Shaojie thought so.

And my, my... They were wrong. So, so wrong.

Shen Tunan had been furious. He used every means, every connection he had, every string he could pull, to find Wei Ruolai and bring him back safely. It took him two weeks to find Wei Ruolai, and by that time the poor boy had wounds and bruises scattered all over him.

According to rumors, the moment Shen Tunan saw his assistant's bloodied, unconscious figure, he had sworn revenge against Mr. Kang, promising him a fate worse than death.

Shen Tunan's hired bodyguards, working together with the local policemen, retaliated against Mr. Kang and the gang that supported him. It took them about half a year before Shen Tunan's victory: he had Mr. Kang and all his cronies sent to prison for life (and if Mr. Kang 'accidentally' broke his legs while in prison, well... it definitely had nothing to do with him...).

From that time on, everyone knew that Wei Ruolai wasn't "just" an assistant. He was someone special to Shen Tunan.

Wei Ruolai was the reverse scale of Shen Tunan The Dragon -- anyone who dared to touch or offend him would suffer, and Shen Tunan would make sure of that.

After The Incident, Shen Tunan became more obvious, bringing Wei Ruolai with him everywhere he went. Whenever someone saw Shen Tunan, they would see another person attached to his side, always there, always smiling and always looking at Shen Tunan with utter adoration: Wei Ruolai.

These two were inseparable. This duo was always together.

When Shen Tunan the CEO appeared, dressed to the nines, hair slicked back and impeccable manners in place, there would always be someone by his side. His Wei Ruolai, standing by his side.

The two of them stood together, watching from above, sharing smiles with each other that the public missed... Because these two weren't just employer and employee.

They were lovers.

bungou stray dogs - ranpo's invitation to yosano fucking CINEMATIC okay. i cried. the way it was set up, with ranpo kneeling to yosano's level and promising her a place to stay. the lighting of this scene giving it such a hopeful look. the emotional impact. they are my favourite duo in bsd and their dynamic is sooo precious to me and i just. one of my fav scenes in bsd EVER!!!

haikyuu - tsukishima's block THIS WAS JUST PHENOMANAL KSFHJ. the POWER. the SCREAM. the perfect moment for his character arc, the 'it' moment. oh my god. i only very recently got into haikyuu and this scene lives in my head rent free

vanitas no carte - s2 finale fight THEY WERE INSANE FOR THIS. this entire fight had me on the edge of my seat. if it's one thing vnc is an expert in it's setting a scene. the rain the lighting the FEAR through the screen. this shit was RAW. when vanoé got into the 'ill kill you thatll shut you up' position i literally screamed. vanitas' turmoil vs noé's devastation oh my godddd. domi unlocking her powers. jeanne's entire role. there was so much happening and GOD it was amazing i loved it

jujutsu kaisen - so start by saving me sigh. LIFE GETS BETTER DONT GET INTO JUJUTSU KAISEN. this panel lives in my head rent free and i think if i ever see it animated i'd burst into tears. megumi saying this to yuuji means so much to their characters okayyy two people who have always been saving each other, megumi who watched yuuji die in front of him, IT MEANS SO MUCH. i would ramble more but alas i dont wanna turn this into an essay

moriarty the patriot - the moriarty brothers reunite CRIED FR. i just. the EMOTIONS. the way they did everything for each other and had to separate for three years and how both albert and louis thought william was dead and how none of them really ever forgave themselves but they forgive each other, so thats all that matters, isn't it? and how soothing this hug was, like finally finding your home again, and how THEY ARE FAMILY ough im so ill. i adore this moment

vanitas no carte - i've decided to stay by your side, vanitas this is just because i'm in love with noé and i think vanitas realised things about himself here too/j. but on a serious note i think this was one of the greatest turning points in their relationship. i like the vibe of them on the tower and the sun rise coming up when they swear to stay together. cinematic asf
