Hello everyone! Thank you all for almost 50 followers!! :3c All activity has been on my main account @morguemaw, so if you want more direct content of Lusttale shoot me a ask about it!!!!

So, abit has changed over the few months and i have a update, coupled with info for all you new guys who found this blog!

1) AU is decided to be 16+. Its suggestive, no NSFW will be posted/shown as i want whatever content i MYSELF to post to be accessible to everyone within a comfortable range! There will be light sexual jokes, however if at any point it reaches too much, please tell me! I know the AU itself should obviously be considered a Explicit Rated AU, however i know there are people who enjoy the AU without the sexual aspects.

2) This AU is not a fan AU OR variant: This AU was made with the plan to 100% rewrite Underlust, i will explain below!!

Why the rewrite?:

I've loved Underlust since i joined the Undertale community, and others have too! However, the owner WAS involved and DID create content involving fontcest, a nazi Chara, Frans content, and was friends/mutuals with others who also created gross content like BlogTheGreatRogue and Lizherubones. This disgusted me and made alot of others feel the same. The AU was left off on a confusing as shit note, from the disgusting writing of Lust MTT to the messed up relationship between the brothers. I want to erase this the best i can. Alot of characters have also 0 content (Such as Lust Alphys) and although i will mostly focus on Sans/Papyrus/Frisk still, i WILL be creating content for mostly every character to again ensure the AU is fully fleshed out for as much enjoyment as possible.

Wheres the creator/owner?:

Awhile back, the owner, NSFWshamecave/Niel, left the internet and the AU for personal and mental reasons and bounced between owning and not owning the Au. They have since been MIA(Missing In Action) from the internet and AU, i doubt they will return or be involved at this point. The AU is considered fandom owned, which if you prefer that i support it, but do not interact with my blog as im basing everything on a rewritten POV with the entire intent to overhaul the AU without being too different or too similar.

What about the Underlust domain name?:

Lusttale CAN be called Underlust, BUT i prefer Lusttale to separate it as its alot easier, HOWEVER i have no issue with it being called Underlust! (Just still please credit/tag me, id love to see any content!)

What about fan AUs or others who make their own Variants?:

Keep going! I support these ten fold. Ive seen so many creative AUs overall, including a recent aroace one that has such adorable designs and is why i want to refresh myself and explain this blog to anyone new who might mistake me as a fan account. If you want to consider your variant a version/variant of my Rewritten AU, please tag me! Id love to see your AUs, your Varaints, EVERYTHING!!

HOWEVER. I do NOT support a single soul who ever uses my AU for Frans, Fontcest, or akin. Dont tag me OR interact with me, its public knowledge how the community feels about those, and im one of the many who don't like that content and wish for my AU to not be used in it. Self inserts, OC/Y/N x Lusttale, or etc is the same, id love to see it!!

What about Swaplust/Lustfell/AUs?:

Swaplust is also inactive: I have had my own interpretation of Swaplust since i found the AU when it was first made, Lustfell however i dont know, if its requested i will create something but i dont want to just claim every Lust AU out there. Not saying im claiming ownership of Swaplust, im saying that the Swaplust i want to make will be considered canon AU and it will be the ONLY Underlust AU i will ever claim, Swaplust has the same exact permissions. (Swaplust too had a very close Frans suggested ship, that is my reason for it)

To clarify if needed, im not forcing the view of me owning the AU onto every Underlust created content, im just saying if you yourself, the community, support what i do, i will continue, hence why i say tag me! I love to see it!

What about headcanons/outdated info like Sans being shorter?:

RN, Sans is the same size as Gaster Sans (i think 5' something?) however im fine with people drawing him short! ^^

Head-canons are also fully fine!!! Tell me any you think of, id love to hear. As long as you respect that i have my own plans, id be overjoyed to read whatever you guys think of or have.

So, to sum it up, Underlust has had a MIA owner since 2019/2020. Because of the history, and the way its loved, its a massive honor if i could step up and help give the community a AU with a solid backstory, solid characters with fleshed out personalities, and a structured plot that will replace something that was/is beloved. The best i can explain it, is my goal is to structure the AU but still keep support for the community as the AU was indeed considered Fandom Owned, again, you do not have to support me wanting to claim it, just do not bash me for it, as im absolutely not considering Lusttale a variant or AU, im considering Lusttale canon.

OG Undertale characters in SequenceShift.

Pretty sure some folks are wondering what happened to the canon characters in this timeline, so I figured I'd briefly go over what happened to the major ones by this point.

Frisk and Chara

Still a WIP honestly. All I have so far is Chara wasn't the first human to fall down (that was the Integrity Soul) and the Determination Soul is one of the first human souls. This is gonna stay on the back burner for a bit.

Toriel and Asgore

Unfortunately, our favorite goats aren't around anymore. While they did exist and started as the Royal Family, the Dreemurs sadly lost their lives during the Great War. Instead, a royal advisor to the King (aka Ceroba's mom) would take the reins of leadership in the Underground and become the first Empress. Her influence is why the Underground in SS's continuity has a more East Asian influence to it compared to the original.

Also, for obvious reasons, Asriel doesn't exist in this AU.

Sans and Papyrus

Gonna say off the bat, don't expect much concerning Sans in this AU. Look, I enjoy him as a character, but I find him WAAAAAY to oversaturated within the Undertale fandom and I'm pretty sick of it. In fact, one the big reasons I like Undertale Yellow is because it's one of the few fan projects which doesn't have him involved at all lol. And because of that, he and his bro have a pretty small presence in this AU. Because of that, I don't have anything planned for either of them, but if they are around in the AU, it's probably gonna be as minor characters in the Lakeside Region.

Undyne

Undyne here is Captain of the Honor Guard. This group is an elite team of soldiers that's responsible for the defense of the Empress, as well as New Kingdom. These are made up of UT's Royal Guard characters, since their SS equivalent, the Rangers, is made up of the Feisty Five and OCs. Undyne's mostly the same passionate, steadfast, anime-loving warrior she is in the original. She actually is a pretty close friend/sparring partner with Ceroba. She's also the only one so far who's managed to beat the Empress in an arm-wrestling competition (not even Ed has come close to that).

Alphys

Alphys is still around. Since she never became the Royal Scientist, she still hangs out with Bratty and Catty. She's a tech student living in the Sand Dunes with a good mind for robotics. Not too much fleshed out for her yet, but I do have the idea of a sideplot concerning her building a Mettaton prototype or whatnot.

And that's it for the main cast so far. Got a couple ideas for the minibosses, but still working on the deets. Lemme know what you think so far.

how: since i got into hetalia toni is already a blorbo™. you know those things like uhh if a ship has both of my blorbo in it i will love it more? yeah...

in 2011-2014 there was a popular heta fan comic in deviantart called Maaf, it's mainly focused on maritime southeast asia ocs and bits of their history with other canon charas. it's kinda non linear (chronological??).

around that time port's 2nd design is revealed (the ponytail with scar), later the author of Maaf drew him in the story... note that the author doesn't write some parts of the story, chunks of it is provided/suggested by readers from said countries, port included.

ofc teen me (occasional yaoi enjoyer) & some readers went: oh ☺️ so that is spain's brother ☺️ they bicker a lot ☺️ wanna see more❣️ then i saw more arts of them by few dA artists... saw their tumblr accounts, followed, and from there i discovered many more in The spaport tumblr✨✨. i was just a minor lurker gnfjnfs, gradually left heta in 2014, made no drawing/content.

why:

the 3 principles of good heta ship (credit to oomf): neighbours that share borders, one have invaded the other, family bond/related. this formula is always correct!

then there's canon materials and "why are you only meek with him"... toni only showed his weak side to port??? this exclusivity?!? oh it's over for other ships /lh.

TO ME a lot of ship dynamics/trope fit them heheh. sun and moon, dumb and dumber, sensitive and oblivious, writer and artist, i can fix him, etc. i think being a foreigner means i understood their irl relations less and i wont go "actually..." [insert better english sth sth ignorance is bliss].

they also reminds me of a favourite ship that involves my country so 🤒 even their language differences(?). then other fav ships reveals even more of spaport history bits from different pov. not elaborating the 3 ships here bc it will be Long and off topic lol but these kept adding as i learned more!! so yeah there's the many indirect connections.

Hello, so here a little Ask, what did make you want to draw in the first place and why particulary a error!chara who want to make all Chara and sans Friend trought the multiverse, Hope i'm not too tiresome for you.

Greetings, and no worries. I've been drawing for as long as I can remember. Though life has caused me to go on a few hiatuses, and not improve as much as I would like. It's why, despite drawing from since I was little, my first few pages and chapters look so rough. I'm still trying to improve now, though I don't think I'll ever stop trying to improve.

As for why Error!Chara. Well, I've always enjoyed fan works, even had OC's in the Sonic and Splatoon Communities way back when. So when I came across Error!Sans, I was naturally interested in other Error type characters. Mostly Error!Chara, since Chara is my favorite Undertale character. Unfortunately searching for Error!Chara led to unsatisfying results. A handful of artists with their one off rendition of their interpretation of them, one of which trying to gatekeep Error!Chara. No story to be found involving their character, leaving them as just a concept. And the icing on the cake, the most popular drawing of them at the time was actually a version of Error!Frisk, lol.

So I figured, since no one else will write a story with them, I'll do one myself. As for their motive to unite Chara's and Sans's, that's actually a reflection on the commentary of the Undertale Fandom as a whole. See, in canon, the likely hood that Sans knows who Chara is is next to zero. Chara's only knowledge of Sans is through observation in the various runs of the game. And yet, the most common fan fight in the Undertale Fandom is Chara vs Sans, a fight that never happens.

Error!Chara sees this as a wrong that must be corrected, and doesn't understand why Creators and Hackers would produce so many of them just to fight each-other. Especially when the whole message of Undertale is to be friendly.

Keep in mind, as a creator myself, I enjoy a lot of these other stories. But if I'm writing for the headspace of a character who has access to the multiverse, and can see what other creators have done, I feel like this is a natural response.

Also as a side note, a Black and Red colour scheme seems a little more inline with Fell AU's. Dark with a mix of Vibrant is more fitting for Error's. It needs to be Logical but Random at the same time.

Anyway, that's a TL;DR of why I created Error!Chara. Well, my Error!Chara, they do have a rather unique look for a Chara, I think.

Even if I am a little bitter hater, I square up, and draw or write about my favorite characters myself. I don't think people in fandoms owe it to you to draw your favorite character or ship.

not sure how to word this but im just curious about kazuyas design and character? :0 i was wondering why and in what ways her character was inspired by nagito, and other characters' inspiration from other canon characters, not in a bad way at all its just interesting to me in how canon dr does this as well and the function and purpose it serves in implications and expectations it creates for the characters. its really fun to me :3

thank u!!! kazuya is prob the most obviously based off of a canon dr character but he's not the only one, and in fact i made a lil chart a while ago for who is based off of what canon dr character, whether it be for personality or design

Kazuya was the first dr oc i made and i had a clear idea in my head of what i wanted them to be. Me and some friends were talking about how it would be awesome if komaeda was a lesbian instead and i said hey, what if i just make an oc exactly like that. But as much as he is a direct inspiration from nagito i try to keep him a bit different (or at least i hope i do).

But kazuya also has an in-universe reason for his connection to nagito :^3c. This cast is kinda like the v3 cast in that they are fictional characters with implanted memories, but unlike v3 they got to design and create the characters they play themselves, even if they didn't know that's what was going to happen at the time. So for kazuya, before he got his memories wiped he was a huge komaeda fan and wanted to be just like him lol, so that's why he made his own character like that

i could go into a lot more detail for the other charas on the chart but i'm gonna try and keep it relatively brief and put it under a readmore

starting from the left column and going down, Emiko was kinda passively inspired by komaru, but they ended up very similar in some ways. Their designs are similar and they have similar types of confidence issues that lead to inaction. Also they are both in love with girls who are terrible (said lovingly).

Haruka's design was based somewhat on byakuya's, and i sometimes even joke and call him 'femme byakuya'. But also his snobbishness is a trait i stole from him as well. But, like celeste, his air of sophistication is all a lie to make it seem like he's not just some guy.

For ayumi i kinda just stole leon's motive and his thing where he wants to be something other than what he's actually talented at. For ayumi its that she wants to be a philosopher. Also she is the first killer.

Chou's is pretty simple i just took the mask design element more than anything else

and for the right column, Hideaki shares in toko and byakuya's idea that no one can be trusted and that cooperation will not work in monokuma's killing game. Hideaki is also an author like toko and his demeanor is similar to her's as well, but perhaps not as extreme

Rokurou is like gonta in that they are the muscle charas but they have ultimates in STEM rather than a sport like you'd expect. And rokurou is like mikan in that he is a nervous wreck

Junichi was very directly inspired by kirumi, because i love the concept of an ultimate maid, and i think butlers are cool. I wanted to make a character that was what i thought kirumi was going to be when i first played the game. Basically, i wanted a chara who was depended upon too much, and snapped as a result, but in a much more selfish way than kirumi. His motive for murder is very much inspired by celeste (he also wants to be rich and live in a mansion) and he is the ch 3 killer who kills two people.

Once again i borrowed byakuya's snobbishness for kimiko's character. I put the imposter on there as well because kimiko kinda becomes a bit of a leader in ch 1, keeping everyone together and working towards a goal (in her own bossy way) until she becomes the first victim, much like the imposter.

Lastly, ryuuji is a lot like mondo in his mannerisms, but like kazuichi he cracks easily and is a huge wuss.

I think I want this version of Archeia Lucillea, to be both a Hazbin Hotel & Helluva Boss Type OC...

and even if it was just a guess that Lucifer’s Twin Flame was named Lucille,

and then thinking that the name Lucille could just be a nickname, and her actual name could be “Lucillea” , but it’s okay that not everyone believes that.

I didn’t really draw Lucillea’s eyes, because I wanted to put that thing over where her eyes could be, to show that she is a lost soul, you know like inspired from Undertale...

Blitz’s Mom is a lost soul in this drawing as well, and even Flowey...

and Flowey is the only one who is speaking in this drawing, and he is saying

“Don’t You Have Anything Better To Do?”

 also in this drawing, Lucillea is suppose to be laughing...

which I guess could be the happy laughing or the sad laughing.

ya know if Chara was doing a unhappy laugh after what happen to Asgore,

then Asriel shouldn’t of misinterpret it being that they were just “laughing it off”

and if what happen to Lucifer, if Lucillea was laughing in a unhappy way...

then her own unhappy feelings could be misinterpreted as well.

it be funny if Lucillea’s favorite treat was chocolate, just like Chara.

maybe in a Hazbin Hotel x Helluva Boss Fanon Timeline, after Lucifer fell and end up ruling hell with Lilith.

Lucillea could of went into a state of depression, closing herself off from everyone around herself.

even the Other Archeia couldn’t help her out of that state, even though they tried everything to make her the happy and sweet angel she was before.

 it could turn out in her depression, she went to stay in Eden and slept in or under a tree, that could of been called “The Tree Of Healing” like anyone who is under the tree, will be healed of their mental, emotional and spiritual pain.

also I know it is very unlikely the Archeia would be in both shows.

that is why the Fanon Timeline exists, where what would be impossible in the canon, can be in the fanon.

and only a few things in fanon work, end up being accidentally predicted in a canon timeline of a show or movie or video game.

like when a guy had accidentally predicted that Kris from Deltarune was going to eat all the pie, and that was even made into a animation before it showed that one scene in the game...

oh yeah, and I’m pretty sure even in one of the Deltarune AU, some stuff in it had also end up appearing in Chapter 2, but like maybe in a slightly different way, so that is another time a fan had accidentally predicted Deltarune’s canon.

best thing to ever happen, of all time....not when it’s the Simpsons though, they should just do reruns and stop making that show already....I mean fans can still like the show, but with some of the creepy predictions that are being said that involves that show, then it would be for the best that they stop making new episodes and seasons of it, and maybe just make a new season of Disenchantment, even if not everyone has to agree with me on it, but it is just how I think and feel about it....

and hopefully Teen Titans Go, wont pull a Spongebob...

at least they had stop showing the same episodes over and over of Spongebob, it was heck for me having to put up with that disgusting broken marathon, it even put me in a dark place, and I even cried not being able to take it anymore, I had to go to another room whenever it had to be on.

because of whoever was in charge of that stupid broken marathon, they basically ruined Spongebob for me, I guess it is still a little okay, but I don’t 100% love it like I use to, because whoever was in charge of that broken marathon....and kept showing the same episodes, over and over, without even changing it to any of the other episodes....

I can watch the same episodes over and over of shows I really like, even watch some movies as well, but how it was with Spongebob, it was a broken marathon and it was just so....I really couldn’t stand it, I’m fine now.

but whoever was in charge of running that marathon during that time, had ruined it and didn’t bother to make sure to change it to the other episodes.

I would rather watch the whole seasons of Lucifer Tv Series, or like watch all the Seasons of Transformers Prime and then Transformers Animated, and then all the seasons of MLPFIM to the Equestria Girls Movies in one day, or if it takes into it becomes early the next day, then yeah I will try that too...

but I would rather do that, than having to go through the heck I had been through during that time, cause I think I love those shows and movies more than I do Spongebob right now, and my like for the show is maybe around the 80% or maybe a bit lower than that now, because of the person or people who kept showing a broken marathon and basically ruining it for me.

My sketching style is very recognizable so it's 100% my art style but I think it's interesting how things like the shape of the eyelashes, thickness of the eyelashes, underlashes, and how the eyes and rings in the eyes are drawn make my drawings give off a different vibe

Cuz I'm using the same art style for all of these doodles. I tend to draw the eyes of sharper tsurime-eyed meow meow mf charas the same way. I just do the details differently depending on the character

VRoid Rambles

I watched a bunch of FGO MMD videos (of Douman, Oberon, and Morgan), and now I feel tempted to try my hand at making MMD models for my faves (Selena, Tatsumiya, Idate) in VRoid Studio…

I wanna make 3D models so I can make my faves dance in MMD Selena and IdaTatsu MMDs you will be real someday…

I'd use VRoid Studio because it provides bases for hair and clothing, and I don't feel like using Blender tbh

Also I watched a bunch of VRoid Studio model making tutorial videos, it's way easier than I thought. Most of it is honestly just drawing normally and using preset assets as a guide

Thank god FGO being so big and Douman and Oberon's huge popularity means that people will definitely make MMD models for them

JP fans have already made models of many FGO charas, so I can play around with them. I can make LimGuda and ObeGuda MMDs… It's common practice in the MMD community to credit all the assets you use: Models, Camera, Dance Motions, Stages, Lighting Effects, etc.

I saw JP users say they made 3D models of FGO charas (such as Douman and Oberon) with programs like VRoid Studio or Blender. So it's totally doable

It'd be kinda fun to try making MMD models for my FGO faves in the future too, but not now

Especially with how detailed their designs are (especially Douman's)

Imo Douman is way harder than Idate because of their hair and outfit

I personally prefer Cantarella fan covers (VOCALOID/UTAU and human fan-covers) over the original due to stronger tuning/mixing

But Cantarella's instrumentals are excellent

The original Cantarella MMD has a dance section. I love the little spin and jump in the air and landing on the ground, I think that fits my faves more

3 - venam coming back from her petrification in ch. 14. i love how it happened both in v13 and v13.5. the shock reveal in v13 was crazy, w/ venam coming to save lavender and everyone. i loved it so much. but it's also so good in v13.5 bc it's a reunion of the east gearen squad after so long of being apart

8 - amber and tesla! i am a sucker for mother/daughter relationships! the fact that amber is an angsty teen yet it's clear that she loves her mom very much and isn't afraid to show it. she literally called her mommy right in front of the mc. tesla is 100% her daughter's biggest fan, she'll attend all her concerts to show her support and amber would 100% shoutout her mom each time.

to start us off:

NOVA VON BRANDT!! she's my main interceptor oc for both paragon and renegade (but mainly paragon), and the first rejuv oc i created. she's very special to me bc she's the first oc i created where i just did whatever tf i want.

she's able to speak to pokemon, she's in love with both melia and venam, she's autistic and artistic, she masked at the beginning but now she both does and doesn't, she's selectively mute and has her gothitelle speak for her. her whole thing is gifted kid syndrome, being held on a pedestal, and burnout.

she canonically hasn't lost a battle and while that fucking sucks for her bc while constant praise is great it's also overwhelming; makes her feel like if she ever makes a single mistake everyone will hate her. she's the interceptor meaning she's the key to victory, but she doesn't want to be; her friends hold her in high regards and she doesn't want to disappoint them.

she hides her feelings about things and finds herself mindlessly agreeing bc it gets ppl to like her. her past has her be outcasted from her village due to her ability to speak to pokemon, so she hides that as well. she's under a lot of pressure and stress and is slowly crumbling, but she's doing her best to hold herself together. at some point in the novaverse (the au she exists in) she even rifts due to the stress.

i love her a lot and i can't wait for future updates so i can develop her more <3

player. i haven't developed player as much as i have nova, mainly bc they're still new and also use solely in a specific au of mine: rejuvtale.

player is funny bc they're the, ya know, "player", and was the one who controlled frisk (and clover as uty exists in the au) throughout the true pacifist route. but they've also controlled them throughout the genocide route. player literally got isekai'd into a world where rejuv and undertale are crossed over.

they have a neutral personality, being more realistic about things to balance out chara's pessimism and frisk's optimism, but they're also somewhat unhinged and are quick to judge others based simply off appearance. they have a red soul, meaning just like frisk and chara, they're filled with determination. (they, frisk, and chara make up the determination trio)

then finally there's evelyn. i don't really know if she counts as an oc given her origins, but let's pretend she does okay.

evelyn is the physical manifestation of vivian's madness, taking the appearance of aelita when she was afflicted with the curse. she's able to shapeshift and take the form as anyone, allowing her to blend in, but no matter what she'll always have her warm pink hair and red eyes.

being vivian's madness in it's physical form, she's extremely violent and dangerous to be around to come across. she's simultaneously always angry and always laughing, taking joy in causing harm to others, especially it the harm is straight up murder. you best hope you don't accidentally come across her during the night, your body won't be found by morning.

given that the spell vivian used was a garufan one, evelyn can speak garufan, but due to taelia and aelita, she can also speak english. she speaks very slowly no matter what language she speaks, but speaks full sentences. she hate aelita, erin, melia, and /pn for attempting to get rid of her, so now, she'll try to get rid of them. aelita is her main target.

i should rlly create more ocs, like maybe a few team xen, team anti-assist, or team bladestar ones (maybe even another interceptor or even sheridan village or goldenleaf town residents bc i rlly like those villages). but these are all i have for now.

22 - no matter what i'll always dislike ch. 9. it's not a bad chapter, it's just extremely boring to be when compared to ch. 8 and ch. 10. it's just. there. it has purpose, it's not there for no reason, it serves the plot, but it's still boring as sin. will say kugearen blowing up and madame x saving us what an interesting moment for sure.

30 - just how interesting it is! long before i played rejuv, when i was just scrolling down the old wiki and seeing the characters, i thought it was gonna be another "edgy pokemon fangame" like insurgence or reborn (even though i haven't played reborn i've seen snippets). but when you actually play the game the actual pokemon stuff tends to take sideline to the actual plot.

like here's a few words present in this game: archetype, interceptor, storm-9, karma, mysterious figures. if i showed you these words you would not know they belonged to a pokemon fangame of all things. sure it's "confusing" but if you read the dialogue it's actually not that confusing. time shenanigans are confusing sure, but paradoxes are a thing.

Short summary- I am not proship apparently and I don’t like people whitewashing characters, or feminizing androgynous characters.

I am genuinely tired of “Frans” or Frisk and Sans as a couple.

And while yeah, it is the notion of aging up Frisk (or Chara or Kris btw) to pair them with an adult character that irks me most importantly… like… it is fucking weird actually. Especially when it’s written in such a way that whichever child went through the underground or whatever and then LATER the story takes place where they’re an adult…

Because honestly? If any family friend saw me at like… 12, actively watched me grow up, and then decided they had romantic feelings for me, I’d think they’re fuckin weird tbh. Weirder than my middle school orchestra teacher giving me his Snapchat while I was at work years later, after not having seen me that entire time. Yeah that was fuckin weird. Dude taught me for an hour or so like every other day back in middle school. Still fuckin weird.

Now imagine a family friend who would have seen me a lot more often. Mad fuckin weird.

So yeah. I find that weird.

But the other thing, a more minor thing that also grinds my gears?

How incredibly feminized Frisk gets. In such a stereotypically way too!

Frisk is CANONICALLY non-binary. They use they/them pronouns. They present pretty androgynous even for a kid. They “flirt” with anyone they have the option to regardless of that person’s presentation.

Yet!!! Frisk always ends up being incredibly feminized. Not just feminized in a general sense, but almost exclusively Frisk gets turned into a scrawny, busty, white woman with perfectly straight hair and full lips.

This kid turned into that nonsense I be seein??? Idk what people are seeing but if y’all want a WHITE kid…

Boom. Pale yellow for the skin, rosy pink cheeks, wide AF eyes. The chances of Chara being white are infinitely higher.

The aged up Frisk rarely ever even looks LIKE FRISK. It wouldn’t be hard to just name this basically brand new character something like “Alex” if these people still wanted a gender neutral name, but frankly I doubt they would considering what they did to the character.

They whitewash and feminize Frisk, a character who has no gender. We are given no indication to Frisk sex (which would be awfully weird since they are, ya know, a CHILD) so people are really just making a woman OC to ship with Sans (usually) but still choose to to name her Frisk and tie her to a non-binary child.

For what reason?

People were in an uproar about artists making Rose (Steven Universe) skinny. Now the harassment and threats were completely unnecessary, but the general upset wasn’t necessarily wrong in my opinion.

Fat people, POC, LGBT+ people still struggle for representation. If fans want skinny, white, busty characters that they ain’t seeing in the original material… make an OC!! Ain’t nothin wrong with that!

But there ain’t any reason to take an existing character and alter them to fit into eurocentric beauty standards. Not for your preference, not to fit into your fantasy, not for anything.

These people are often amazing artists! Clearly capable of incredible skill, and likely possess impressive imaginations as well! Imagine up a new name at the least!

Seriously- why do I see more diversity in blank face Y/N solid grey placeholders than adult Frisk art? Like yeah I don’t even think it should be a thing when you’re shipping them with one of the adult monsters, but honestly the fact that regardless of how “not frisk” they all look… I KNOW that is SUPPOSED to be adult Frisk because they all look like the same bland ass white lady!!!

Meanwhile they “Y/N” placeholders be chubby, tall, disabled, they’ll have afros and braids, they’ll have more masculine builds, etc.

I ain’t even realize they could be personalized like that! I love it!! Hope to keep seeing more of it even if it comes across my dash in some fandom I don’t even know the name of!!!

Relationships! How they relate to canon muses, I think that dynamic is so fun (hides Etude behind me). I also really like the thought that's placed into their background! How they fit into the canon world, basically. Like with Sora she doesn't have much influence but since DRBs are pretty big for entertainment I thought it would be fun to have her be a big fan of that! And the third thing I like is how much thought would be put into personality and thought process! You're building something up from scratch as opposed to taking a canon chara and studying their mentality. That's really fun in its own way!

Underlust (AU wiki #1)

This is the first entry in an ongoing project of compiling information about various "mainstream" undertale aus. While both undertale-au wiki and undertale-au-fanon wikis exist, they don't always quite have all the information I want, and also do not focus much on history, or if the originator is still around.

This post will discuss fontcest and frans, which I also ship.

Anything other than strict factual accounts is my personal opinion on the AU.

1. Overview

Underlust was created in 2015 by tumblr user nsfwshamecave, whose blog is now disused. Initially her personal headcanons for an "undertail" au, it rapidly gained popularity and began to grow its own lore, namely that everyone except Mettaton was horny and obsessed with sex. This matched with the initial drawings, which were of Sans and Papyrus having sex with each other.

(cw: rape) The first comic, ie. "canon" Underlust, focused on the developing relationship between Mettaton and Papyrus, as well as Mettaton's recovery from sexual assault, and his discomfort in having a "sexy" body created by Alphys. Mettaton was a performer, and Papyrus a naive but well-meaning sexy monster who wanted to join the royal harem, as opposed to the royal guard. As a side plot, Sans slowly developed a relationship with Grillby, whose club he worked at as a stripper or possibly was just a patron.

The second comic focused on Frisk, the fallen human (in this AU, an adult and asexual) and Rosie the Rose, this au's Asriel reincarnation. The intended plot of the comic was for Frisk to show the monsters the power of love, not sex, after the monsters were injected with Chara's soul ability, LUST. Chara was by that time long dead. The desire for these injections was caused by low fertility among the monsters.

This backstory is a notable departure from the earliest Underlust art, which consist mainly of lust!Sans and lust!Papyrus interacting with OCs and other au versions of Sans and Papyrus (namely Underfell and Underswap). Is important to note that six years ago, tumblr had not banned explicit sexual art or driven off large chunks of its userbase.

2. Plot Summary

1st Comic (cw: rape)

Mettaton is a performer who has to endure a lot of sexual harassment from his fans. One day, he is gang raped by an anonymous group of humanoid monsters, permanently cracking his soul and fusing him into a body he doesn't quite like.

He begins to receive sincere, non-sexual harasser fan letters from a mysterious "P", who turns out to be Papyrus, a skeleton monster who wants to join the royal harem but has been rejected by Toriel for being too kind. Over the course of the comic, Papyrus and Mettaton grow close, and begin to date.

2nd Comic

Only a few pages were drawn before the author went on permanent hiatus.

Frisk falls into the Undergrown, finds Rosie the Rose, who agrees to travel with them. They find Toriel, who doesn't want to be touched, and is very upset and traumatized. That is where the comic ends.

3. Characters (all images used are by nsfwshamecave)

Sans--called Lust by the fandom Horny, passionate, with a tendency towards domination. Does not want his brother to join the Royal harem. Works as a sex worker at Grillby's. Developing a relationship with Grillby. Purple ectoplasm.

Papyrus--called Pink, a few other things, by the fandom. More submissive than his brother, will have sex with anyone but falls in love with Mettaton. Pink ectoplasm. Wants to join the royal harem because everyone loves them.

Mettaton

Has a cracked soul and eye from being sexually assaulted. Works as a performer and deals with a lot of sexual harassment. Shy, reserved, slowly falls in love with Papyrus over a series of letters.

Toriel

Presented in two ways by the original author. First as the dominant Queen, running the royal harem (headed up by Undyne) and specifically domming her husband, though with a sad side as she lost her child very young. The second is as an isolated, traumatized figure in the ruins, frightened by touch and wanting to keep Frisk away from herself.

Alphys

Royal scientist. Gave Mettaton his lewd body, and made it slightly less lewd after his assault. Cracks crass jokes. Overtly cruel and sexual at times. Responsible for the actual LUST injections, potentially. (That's a bit complicated, as underlust Gaster appears as a side drawing and the "canon" of Underlust changed a few times)

Undyne

Has a few appearances; will try to edit this back in, but isn't discussed much in the original canon.

Asgore

Chara

Chara had LUST and did a series of terrible things. Possibly did some type of dominatrix stuff? Like with Toriel, their personality and role changed drastically over the course of nsfwshamecave's control of the fandom.

Flowey is now Rosie the Rose, little is known about him other than that he is small and adorable and presumably the dead monster child from one of the earlier ask comics.

4. Fandom

Fandom tends to focus the most on Sans, who is often shipped with Underfell!Sans. This has led to a weird dichotomy, where people will express fondness for Underlust Sans but hatred for the AU for "lewding minors" despite the creator's repetition that everyone is 18+ (fandom is kind of terrible like that).

I may make another post collecting all of the Lust ship names and ship children, but there are a lot of those and that would make this post unwieldly.

For the side of the fandom that isn't focused on proving how much more virtuous they are than the original creator, the art continues to be good. A lot of it has moved to twitter, given the tumblr nsfw purge. They tend not to follow the original plot of the comics, though some fics do follow Mettaton's original backstory.

5. Personal Opinion

I really like the aesthetics of this au. I like the fact that it started out as a bunch of horny fontcest drawings. I am less comfortable with the implication of "love over sex," as well as the apparent movement of the original creator to a sort of sex negativity in general. I wish Frisk's asexuality wasn't treated as some sort of anti-sex field, as I know many asexual people who are interested in sex.
