the clever way they set up izzy the unreliable narrator is just… such good writing

i started making a complete list of “things other people agree izzy is good at” and “things only izzy says he’s good at” for brain distractions and on that first list is swordfighting

the second list is …everything else, i truly do find this little fucker so fun on a narrative level. he’s the textbook unreliable narrator: literally everything he says ends up directly contradicted by the people in question or the action, but he swaggers around yelling his version of events loudest! (and weirdest, lmfao.)

and honestly on a deeper level it makes us as an audience look at how we process things people tell us vs things people show us, and how those are often very much at odds.

the writing on this show is ridiculously good, you know?

Riverdale Season 2 Episode 6

9:01 pm so as of now I've seen the episode. Including looked on my blog twice to see which episode it was.

Also have the channel looked it's mtv1 Catfish The TV Show on now and looked.

Seriously I liked that. Along with I'm gonna spoil shit. But also I wanna say seriously way to go mainly for Cheryl, Jughead, Betty, Archie, and even Veronica when I thought about it.

Honestly I feel I might not talk about this much. Yet seriously such a good episode. Including this may sound stupid less stressful then the last one. My laptop made a sound I'm on my phone now and heard bro closed his door I have my door closed whatever.

Basically the stressful part where Betty is basically forced to try to cut her friends out of her life. Including the ending of the last episode. Then also Cheryl with what happened this Nick guy tries to rape her. Also Jughead becoming part of the Serpents now.

Seriously lots of shit going on. Including I liked a funny gif it's about the race and I'm going JUGHEAD JUGHEAD JUGHEAD or some shit lol like Archie would I just did quiet laugh.

So what happens and quite a bit of it focuses on well because the Black Hood wanting Betty to find out who is this person called the Sugar Man. Basically a big drug dealer.

Then the events after with Cheryl and that night. Including Jughead wanting to keep peace I'm sorry I just want to say shit right now. Because I don't want to ramble on a lot.

Basically I went like I think OH FUCK when hearing that Cheryl's mother denying of what happened or almost happened to her.

Also this funny part I laughed at of Kevin saying at the street race the guys are hot.

Then me also I forgot if it was oh shit when the God damn police go into school on Southside I forgot and Archie tries to get Jughead out of there before he's arrested. Luckily he's not but his friends are which sucks. Also the reason he's trying to win this race. Including this group called The Ghoulies however it's spelt they sell drugs and basically some stuff Nick used to drug Cheryl which is fucked up.

Then me quoting FP's first sentence as he spoke before the commercials started which sucked ass.

Sorry just seriously I liked this episode. Because seeing certain characters they are basically striking back after the shit of a mess that was going on.

We have Cheryl almost left cherry lol. To be honest she's not my favorite. Yet really I don't wanna hate on her character she has reasons of who she is. Including other people like her and praise her. But the shit she does in this makes me respect her more. She did some good shit. I think in season 1 too it's just been a while.

Because of getting pissed that her mom basically took just Nick is a jerk and just that shit. Seriously God damn yes theirs the idea of taking a human life and I will talk about that one part that talks about him the end. Just seriously a character like him and that talk and hush money. Even with getting mad at Veronica not telling anyone about Nick trying to get close to her. Cheryl isn't having any more shit. Including trying to force her mother to tell her about who the Sugar Man is since he and Clifford Blossom kind of worked together a bit. By mainly keeping this check away from her. But in the end her mother decides to tell the truth about the Sugar Man and just my thought of the check going into the fire oh yes the best thing Cheryl's own mother puts the check in the fire. Basically meaning well...about Nick it's part of the Veronica thing. So her mother tells her about the Sugar Man what's his name. Including it's development between the two.

Then we have Jughead risking it trying to deal with the other serpents and these ghoulies okay that's how you spell that shit I'm talking too much. Even a race and theirs Archie who he and Jughead are still friends narly. Seriously even Archie reveals well Archie stops the car and Jughead gets pissed off. But because of this. The cops basically sheriff Keller who's there busts the other racer which is well ghoulies. Then Archie well after the commercials end nice man kick ass he reveals he called the cops. Seriously good job Archie even if Jughead does bring up a point about telling the cops. Make sure the ghoulies don't know who called the cops okay Archie my boy love you.

Now Veronica really okay compared to wait any moment is as strong where these characters kind of strike back. Including a friendship I shouldn't say reborn yet back together with Veronica finding out about the Black Hood shit. Including even though worried of what her dad might do if he finds out about that night with Nick and her before what happened with Cheryl. Since actually decides to tell her parents since hearing Cheryl find out her mother not wanting to tell the truth. Yet well at first she's shocked but surprised yet it seemed she told them well I wanna say this she doesn't give a fuck but it's Cheryl's sake because the fact her mom is not gonna speak about it being paid Jesus.

Then also about Nick the ending just.... honestly with her dad being a big criminal really he would love his daughter. That's reasonable and a good thing. Even if just.... seriously Nick's a bad mother fucker.

But basically at the ending of the episode it's mentioned the St Claire's got in a car accident and that Nick would recover oh head. No Nick deserved that shit I hope no....his parents show should be ashamed yet seriously they weren't mentioned wonder if their alive. Including I'm just thinking Veronica's dad and hoping just....Veronica seemed to like there including after her quote. But I was gonna say Veronica's dad might of gotten someone probably paid them just seriously I wouldn't blame someone doing that to a would be rapist. Including to someone underage.

Then we have Betty oh my God. After all the shit that happened in the last episode she strikes back. Mainly well even with the Sugar Man did some shit and probably did a lot crazy stupid and messed up shit. Betty still has that I don't want to take a human life.

So she seriously decided to tell police who the Sugar Man is and even said it being on her paper front news. Seriously taking on the Black Hood and in a way threatening him that after she found out who Jason Blossom's killer was, and the Sugar Man she seriously goes after and talks to the Black Hood telling him she's gonna find out who he is.

Even her saying that she's breathing on his neck or her asking him do you feel me breathing on her neck. So instead of a threat the Black Hood cancels the call. He seriously drops it I feel like holy shit he's scared now. Hey I'm worried for Polly and anyone around Betty. Yet the fact it seemed like she scared the Black Hood or he was so surprised being oh my God she's getting the balls and courage to go up against me. Seriously Betty badass girl okay don't kill all.

Now the moment that surprised me and hoping a lot of people did to. I seriously gasped at the sight of it when first seeing it and my phone basically going to sleep or you know it does that when you don't mess with it.

The Sugar Man was Jughead's teacher. Who told him shit don't don't get involved with drugs or gangs yet this mother fucker does this shit and even Jughead at the end of the episode even talks about him how he's different at night and day. Including it makes sense even more now probably of how he knew Jughead joining the Serpents but I also thought just anyone could know. Including the Serpents are huge and someone may talk about it.

Basically the episode ends with Jughead mentioning finding out from Betty herself she's been talking to the Black Hood also that the Sugar Man is dead because of the Black Hood too. Meaning everyone knows who the Sugar Man is now his real name is in public good as he's dead now. Trying to think but that Veronica moment I think was the last part. It just turned 9:43 and just seriously awesome episode man kick ass.

Got tags done and oh water eyes and gonna turn down volume at this okay now. It was at 18 and now at checked again and looked again now 12. So burped in mouth some seconds ago.

I'm rambling now seriously good episode. The preview of the next episode is basically wow and I mentioned about Keller what if he's the killer. Couldn't see his eyes right almost left words instead of eyes.

Basically seems like and hopefully Sheriff Keller is gonna be the focus of the next episode which is nice. More information about him despite being one of the good guys and just.... seriously the fact the Black Hood knows so much shit makes me think. But I shouldn't assume and the episodes could turn out different. Including I mean turned out different for me seeing this episode which was awesome.

Almost forgot to mention this. But before I started to make this. I felt like saying this because all the shit happening in the last episode......

I was seriously wondering when is the national guard that's the name. When are they gonna get involved I'm being silly. Mainly because after shit gets more insane and I've referenced shit I like yet it's me being silly and unrealistic. Unless theirs a terrorist attack or some shit. Also the shit going up with Northside and Southside I'm sorry I wouldn't be surprised or kind of want to see that. Also when retyping that and typing fixing it I realized seriously my favorite characters would have to go through shit they don't want to.

Also other places going well.......Riverdale is getting into more shit.....how about we call it Shitdale then some guy is like Riverdale has always been shit.

Basically referencing the shady shit that goes on but I'm making parodies of other places in America or some shit making fun of Riverdale's situation and being they got what was coming to them or some shit. Including not part of the show. I'm being weird just smiled a bit it's silly. Seriously oh head sorry to ramble I'm typing too quick that I have to fix words oh my OCD.
