Since the tests / exams are coming up, Keiji’s exclusively offered to tutor you. With that being said, you immediately thank him and suggest to study at your place.

“Y/n,” Your boyfriend remarks, “Are you following me?”

“Hmm?” You snapped back into reality, blinking. “Uh — uh yes”

Akaashi looked at you. His eyes and face are laced with concern “Are you sure? You look tired… perhaps do you —“

“No no no!” You quickly put a break to him afore he could finished. “I — I’m fine. Sorry for interrupting, please continue”

The man paused. Opening his mouth, and then close it. “Ummm actually, that was the last question for today. I was just about to ask if you’d like to rest afterward”

Letting out a small “Oh,”. You added, “But can I still study though, ah wait — would it be too much?”

“No y/n. You are never a bother to me” Keiji shook his head, “Just that — there’s no use forcing yourself to keep studying when you’re already this tired”

“Well I’m still —” “No” This time it was him who cut you off, “You should head to bed, besides, I think it’s time for me to go home now.”

“I can’t really win you over any argument, can I?” You half chuckled and half sighed, and Keiji smiled.

“Fine.” You got up from your seat, “Make sure you don’t forget anything, I’ll go open the door”

“Mmhm” Hummed the man, hands too busy gathering his things. With a swift glance, you turn on your heels and went out of the room.

“Thank you very much for everything Keiji” You said when he tailed after.

“Anytime m’love, always happy to help you” He answered politely, making your lips curved up.

“Goodbye then, see you soon” You give him a soft peck on the cheek and pulled away to wave at him, he nodded. Once he’s left, you retreated back to the place you’d tutor session with him. There was a sticky note pasted on the table. And you’re unable to stop smile on your face from growing.

As for your endless yammering about the tests / exams, whether about how hard you think they’d be or how bad you’re at them. Kuroo has no other choice but help you.

“When we found a question like this, one thing we can be sure of is that —“ An unexpected weight hit Kuroo at the shoulder lightly, ceasing his next statement.

His head slowly turned and gazed swept across you. His dear girlfriend who’s rest her head against him.

This manage to summon a tiny grin onto his face. He’s expected drowsiness to overtake you for awhile, judging by the way you’d consistently nodded a minute ago.

“Hm,” huffed the man, before he rolled his eyes and whispered “sleep tight angel”

Fluttering your eyes open — You lifted your head and look around. “Huh what happened? Did I… oh no, did I fall asleep?”

“You did” A low yet mellow voice answered. Abruptly you whipped your head, face paled with pure shocked.

“Whoa whoa no need to be that panicked. I have summarized a few important things in your book. Just read what I’ve noted, and you’ll be just fine.” He tried to calm you down, while you give him a quizzical look.

“What do you mean? How?” You questioned, before added, “Sorry. I don’t think I understand”

Kuroo simply squinted at you playfully. “You will soon. Anyway I’m gonna go now”

“Wait!” You called, “Already? But —“

“Like I said. Just read what I’ve noted.” Your boyfriend repeated his earlier sentence. “No more objection”

You glanced down with a dismal expression and Tetsuro narrowed his eyes, disapproval cleared in his features. “Y/n don’t be so stubborn. Oh!” He cover his mouth with one of his hand. And carry on in a teasing tone, “Or is it because you just don’t want me to leave you? Aw baby~ You’re afraid you’ll miss me too much?”

Smacking his arm, you said “Stop playing around. I’m not in the mood for this.”

He laughed. “Alright I’m sorry. But I can’t really spare more time, my apologize” Your boyfriend cheekily bowed his head a little.

You heaved an exhale, disappointed despite understanding.

Only just before a chaste swift kiss was pressed to your temple.

Nevertheless — he instantly treading away the moment it end. Didn’t even give you a chance to bid farewell. You stared after him until he was out of sight. Returning your attention back to the book, the one he said he’d penned all the things you need to know.

It was full of highlight and notes on everything he deems important. They were entirely written in a very neatly way, too, you forgot to mention.

At the bottom of the page, there was a small scribble placed there. However this one is no ordinary. It’s pretty special and personal to be honest.

It’s been 4 hours since you’ve done studying. But somehow you can’t seem to stop worrying about your big tests / exams tomorrow.

In spite of already studied hard. You’re still pretty anxious about them, well you can’t help it. And who could blame you? No one would really want to get a bad grade or score.

Thanks to your boyfriend, Suna, who had helped you study and explained some problems that you don’t quite understand.

Whatever… what if you failed? What if — ‘No, don’t think about it’ You silently reminded yourself, ‘the more you pondering about it, the more it’ll make you feel bad…’

“UGH!” You suddenly sit upright, orbs scanning and adjusting to the dark room. A glimpse of your clock told you that it was already 2 in the morning. You released another big sigh and let your body falls back onto your bed.

Turning on your side, you cover your head with a pillow. ‘It’d be really nice to have something to distract me at this moment’

And then — as if the god heard your plea, your phone on the nightstand rang, notifying that you have received a message.

Reaching out to grabbed it, you haul your arm back and hover the device over your face.

It was from Suna. You realized by the profile picture.

‘Hey’ you read the message, ‘R u still awake’

‘Yeah…’ typed your reply.

‘Can’t sleep?’ he asked and somehow all those lingering thoughts seem to fleet away for a brief seconds ‘Maybe. You don’t really seem like you can sleep too, do you’ was your response.

‘Possibly. Well — I was just worried about someone, that probably be the reason why I can’t fall asleep tonight ig’ Eyebrows furrowed, you quickly sent the question you’re sure he’s been expecting. ‘Who’

‘You’ He answered, and you bit your lip, ‘Me why?’

‘You look very stressed and anxious when we parted ways, still agitated by the tests / exams am I right’

You must admit he’d surprised you a bit, ‘Yes… I can’t took them off my mind…’

‘Dw about them too much. I know you can do it, and I’m right behind you’

A simple short, but sweet message appeared, you were totally speechless by that one.

‘Now go back to sleep. There’s still some hours left till mornin’’

Bringing the phone closer — you bit your inner cheeks again while typed ‘Thank you’. You can’t really think of any other words, hope he would understand. On the other hand, a knowing smile make it way to Suna’s lips as soon as he saw the text.
