“That’s not how you do it!” Beomgyu groaned in frustration when you showed him your worksheets.

You’re doing pretty bad in physics recently, and your teacher is worried about your grade. So that’s when he suggested Beomgyu to tutor you. You’re actually really okay with that, in fact you’re happy because your crush got to teach you and maybe you can be friends with him, then go with the cliche friends to lovers trope. But well maybe you expect too much, because he’s always so grumpy with you.

“Come on, don’t be too harsh on me! I just forget to add the negative here!”, You whined

“How can you forget such an important things?”

You can’t help but laugh sheepishly, rubbing the back of your neck when you hear Beomgyu complaining about your small mistake. When he’s finally done with his rant, you stare at him in the eyes, which makes him a bit nervous. “What are you looking at?” He asked, his voice came out shakier than he wanted too.

Do Beomgyu actually hate you? No, he don’t. He just… hates the way he acts when he’s around you. The way you make him all nervous and blushy when you’re around, and he didn’t want you to see it. Which is why he acted all grumpy around you, to hide his embarrassment.

Instead of answering his question you just smile at him, giving him the sweetest smile. On the other hand, Beomgyu can feel blood rushing to his cheek. He’s sure it was the prettiest smile he has ever seen in his life. And when you suddenly close your eyes, his heart is beating rapidly. His eyes trails to your lips, if you’re signaling him to kiss you, then it works, it really did. Because all he can think right now is how he really wants to kiss you.

You open your eyes when you feel something bump your forehead. And that’s when you feel your heart stop beating for a few seconds. You didn’t expect you’ll be greeted by his face, who’s a few centimeters away from you. The two of you stayed in this position for a while, staring at each other's eyes. Well that’s until you snapped back to reality and shifted your head away from him.

“Wh-what are you doing!” You asked, trying to ignore how fast your heart is beating right now.

Beomgyu looked the other way, refusing to look at you, “I should be the one who asked that! Why are you closing your eyes?”

“That’s what yeonjun told me to!!” You complained, “he said this’ll make you less grumpy, but i guess he’s wrong”

You tried to recall what yeonjun told you a few days ago, ‘if he’s suddenly all grumpy then try this! First smile at him, give him your best and genuine smile, then when he seems to be a bit calm, close your eyes for a few seconds, maybe 3-5? And that’s how to make him less grumpy!’. You’re 100% sure you didn’t miss any of the steps, but why do you fail and even make him more grumpier?

“Let’s call it a day”, he packed his bag, but you stopped him.

“Whaaatt?? Come on, it's not even an hour yet!”

“God, you’re driving me crazy” he ruffled his hair, “Just don’t do that again”. This time you raised an eyebrow at him.

“If you keep doing that, it makes me want to kiss you”, he closed his eyes tightly when he finished those sentences. My heart is racing, why am I like this?

“You can” you mumbled silently, hoping he’ll not hear it. But when you look up,he’s already staring at you, “but probably not here! Since it’s the library and people-“

You were cut off by him sliding your worksheet in front of you, “and not until you got this right”, he smirked. You sighed and splumped down to your seat, at least Beomgyu is not all grumpy again now (and you’re getting your kiss later)

Taehyun knows he likes you, he’s sure of it. The two of you are glued to each other, or at least that's what people think. Since childhood, the two of you would always go around together, if there’s taehyun, you must be there too, and vice versa. As he grew older, he noticed it’s not just their heights that grow, his feelings for you grow steadily too.

His friend says he should confess. Well he did actually, a couple of times, but indirectly and secretly. Like when you’re blasting up with your new headphones, he’ll quietly say ‘i like you’ and act like nothing happened. Or when you’re not paying attention or spacing out, he’ll secretly mouthed ‘i like you’ behind your back and smile like crazy. Or he’ll randomly send you a song that portrayed his feelings for you, and there’s many more. He just love the thrill of doing indirect confession.

Just like today, the two of you are supposed to have this cheesy rom com movie marathon. But there you are, sleeping soundly with your head resting on Taehyun's shoulder. He doesn’t mind, he actually liked it.

Taehyun's eyes are still glued to the screen, well he do steal some glance at you a few times, he just can’t resist it even though it’s not something new to him. He smiled at the current scene, where the main character asked their friend if they have any romantic feelings for them. And he just can’t help but imagine you’re the one who’s asking him that question, “so do you like me or not?” you raised your eyebrows and arms crossed in front of your chest, eyeing with a slight pout on your lips him while waiting for his answer.

He laughed silently at his own imagination, “thats right,” he moved a bit closer, smiling to himself before finally whispering to your ears, “I like you”.

Of course, no answer, he chuckled before he shook your hand softly, trying to wake you up, “wake up, you’re the one who’s suggesting this rom com marathon”

“I prefer this”, you replied, snuggling even more closer to him

“My lap is more comfortable,” he suggested, softly pushing you away from him, “and my shoulder won’t be sore”. As much as he likes it, his shoulder might be sore if you’re resting there for a long time.

You pouted in annoyance, which made the corner of his lips slightly move upwards because of your antics. You still follow his suggestion, resting your head on his thigh. While his eyes are still glued to the screen, you stare at him for a while before turning your head back to the screen. His hands found your hair and caressed it, hoping this’ll help you to drift back to sleep.

“Taehyun?” He hummed, “I like you too”.

His hands stopped and looked down to see you smirking in your sleep. “I thought you’re asleep”, he chuckled before caressing your hair again.

“No,” you shifted closer to him, “i just want to find an excuse to rest my head on your shoulder”, you said before drifting back to sleep, this time for real. He smiled at you before kissing your head and whispered, “sleep tight, i’ll take you out for a date once you wake up”.

It was raining so hard that day, you have no choice but sheltered on this small old and no longer used bus stop nearby. You just hope the rain will stop anytime soon because the bus stop roof seems to leak.

“It’s raining pretty hard today, huh?”

You turned around to see your childhood friend, who’s a bit wet because of the rain, “Oh Kai, hi”, you greeted. Kai smiled at you and stood a few centimeters away from you, keeping a safe distance while making sure he’s also not getting hit by the raindrops.

You steal some glance at him, biting your lips to prevent yourself from smiling. The two of you used to be pretty close because you grew up in the same neighborhood as him. You always adore him, don’t know for sure whether it’s in a romantic or platonic way, but you do know he has this special place in your heart. But as the two of you grow up, it’s pretty hard to catch up with each other, especially with him being in a different class from yours. All you can do now is admiring his beauty from afar or whenever you pass his class. So him being close to you again kinda makes your heart race.

“Y/n?” He called out, “would it be okay if i came closer? The raindrops start to hit me…”

“Oh sure,” y/n moved a bit so he can stand on a better spot. This old bus stop were too cramped for the two of you, so you have no other choice but stick together. You can feel heat crawling on your cheeks when your shoulder and hands touch his. Little that you know, his cheeks are also reddened by the thought of holding your hands. The two of you continue to watch the rain in complete silence.

“It’s been awhile since we talked to each other, right?” Kai said, breaking the silence, “Somehow it feels pretty weird because we would always go around together since we’re a kid”

“Probably because we’re not on the same class, which sucks,” you chuckled, the boy nodded in agreement.

“I still watch you from the afar tho,” you confessed, “but you never looked at me”

Huening Kai turned his head slowly, “You did?” He asked, looking at you, “Because i’ve been doing the same thing too”, he confessed

Your cheeks grow redder at his confession, Then, next time let’s not look away when we look at each other”, you suggested, looking at him into the eyes, ignoring the blush on your cheeks.

“Okay, i’ll smile at you”, he smiled, and you replied to him with a small smile too. The two of you continue to watched the rain together, this time talking about whatever appeared on your heads, while waiting the rain to stopped together.

On the next day, when you accompanied your friends to the library, your eyes darted to his class. Spotting him, who’s joking around with his friends, giggling around like a kid. When Huening Kai saw you behind your friend, he immediately stopped and rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment. When the two eyes meet, a faint blush appears on their cheeks, giving each other a small smile before looking away shyly.
