I know this latest update has taken so long, I'm aware of it and I am sorry for it to a certain extent. But it's very interesting to think about. I've seen someone writing series and each chapter has like 3k words. They update once a week. Ultimately, it makes updates seem faster and consistent. If you think one MH chapter has let's say, 20k words (not all of them and every time) but if I divided it into multiple chapters, that's like 6–7 chapters instead of one. But still, I prefer one long chapter that pulls you into the universe for a little longer. I love long chapters! I love writing and reading them as well. That's my style.
