hibiscus— what’s your favorite pet name, if any? why?

Mingi thinks for a moment, never really having any pet names before, "you call me lion cub, right? I think it was that... I've never had a pet name before but I like that."

pastel pink— do you prefer to dress up and go out or stay in and relax?

Looking a little out of place, Mingi scratches the back of his head, "I don't really like being outside too much as people stare at me. Stay in and relax."

salmon— would you prefer a partner who is an introvert or an extrovert? why?

"I would like someone who is extroverted." He nods his head a little, "I'm introverted myself and having someone to pull me out of that would be good for me."

Pairing: Mingi + Hongjoong - @freakstars-cb

"Where the hell have you been?" Hongjoong looks at the reaper as he walks into the room, looking like he's been through the wars. "You're bleeding on my carpet."

Mingi looks down, sees the blood dripping from his hand and shakes it off, making more of a mess. "It's not my blood," he states simply before removing his coat and shirt, nonchalantly showing off his body.

This isn't Mingi, it is him but this is the other side of him, the colder side. The reaper. The side of him that comes out when he's having to deal with the death and souls of those he's been entrusted to collect because it's a hard job for a reaper. It's not easy. Following a soul around moments before their death and then having to collect them, help them move on - seeing that much death causes a shift in someone. Every reaper has it, this other self that comes out when they know they are having to watch death and it makes them colder, harsher.

"Where were you?" Hongjoong's voice lowers slightly, raising an eyebrow while he watches Mingi take the shirt to the sink and start washing it.

Mingi remains quiet, rubbing the cloth together and running it under the water. It takes him a moment to answer but when he raises his head, Hongjoong can see the way Mingi is coming back into himself. "There was an accident..." He begins to speak, telling the older what had happened and it's clear that Mingi is affected by it by the way his voice trembles and he starts to aggressively rub the cloth together as he speaks.

Hongjoong, sensing the tears about to come by the way Mingi starts to sniff and rub his eyes, makes his way over. "Lion cub," he speaks softly, taking the shirt from Mingi and pulling him close. "It's okay, you're here."

It's a strange feeling for him, never having someone comfort him before like that but he takes it, grabbing onto Hongjoong's shirt tightly and trying to keep himself calm while the older rubs his back, whispering soft words of comfort.
