Hey, Tumblr!
Have you listened to or read the lyrics of "Walking in Your Footsteps" by the Police?
It's a song that was written and produced in 1983.
We were at the height of our dinosaur special interest then (which never really went away), and we heard that song so much during the following years. It was in the top 40s long enough that it became very familiar to us and we took it for granted. But we never actually listened to the lyrics!
We had no clue what the song was about until today, when our girlfriend was playing it on her "Dad's music" playlist, and we finally clearly heard the word "dinosaur" and went "holy shit!"
This is literally a song about walking in the footsteps of a dinosaur:
"Walking in your footsteps" by Gordon Matthew Sumner (a.k.a. Sting), performed by the Police
Fifty million years ago You walked upon the planet so Lord of all that you could see Just a little bit like me
Walking in your footsteps Walking in your footsteps Walking in your footsteps Walking in your footsteps
Hey Mr. Dinosaur You really couldn't ask for more You were God's favorite creature But you didn't have a future
Walking in your footsteps Walking in your footsteps Walking in your footsteps Walking in your footsteps
Hey mighty brontosaurus Don't you have a lesson for us You thought your rule would always last There were no lessons in your past You were built three stories high They say you would not hurt a fly If we explode the atom bomb Would they say that we were dumb?
We're walking in your footsteps Walking in your footsteps Walking in your footsteps Walking in your footsteps
They say the meek shall inherit the earth They say the meek shall inherit the earth
---
We also have a major soft spot for this song because it was a major pop song that was clearly anti Cold War.
But a song. About walking in the footsteps of a dinosaur! RAD!

✞ As the World Caves In - Matt Maltese
"And here it is, our final night alive. And as the earth runs to the ground, oh girl, it's you that I lie with as the atom bomb locks in. Oh, it's you I watch TV with, as the world, as the world caves. Oh, it's you that I lie with as the atom bomb locks in. Yes it's you I welcome death with, as the world, as the world caves in."
✞ Take Me to Church - Hozier
"Take me to church. I'll worship like a dog at the shrine of your lies. I'll tell you my sins and you can sharpen your knife. Offer me that deathless death. Good God, let me give you my life."
✞ (Somebody) Ease My Troublin' Mind - Sam Cooke
"They tell me when you tell somebody your troubles, trouble fly away from you. I'm looking looking looking for somebody, I can tell my troubles to. Why won't somebody come and ease my troublin' mind? I sure wish somebody would come and ease my troublin' mind."
✞ Through the Valley - Shawn James
"Well, I came upon a man at the top of a hill. Called himself the savior of the human race. Said he come to save the world from destruction and pain. But I said, "How can you save the world from itself?" 'Cause I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, and I fear no evil because I'm blind. Oh, and I walk beside the still waters and they restore my soul. But I know when I die my soul is damned."
✞ Seeing Things - The Black Crowes
"A hundred years will never ease. Hearing things I won't believe. I saw it with my own two eyes, all the pain that I can't hide. And this pain starts in my heart, and this love tears us apart."
✞ Wicked Game - Chris Isaak
"The world was on fire and no one could save me but you. Strange what desire will make foolish people do. I never dreamed that I'd love somebody like you. And I never dreamed that I'd lose somebody like you."
✞ Oats in the Water - Ben Howard
"And you'll find loss. And you'll fear what you found. When the weather comes, oh, tearing down. There'll be oats in the water. There'll be birds on the ground. There'll be things you never asked her. Oh, how they tear at you now."
✞ God's Gonna Cut You Down - Johnny Cash
"Well my goodness gracious, let me tell you the news. My head's been wet with the midnight dew. I've been down on bended knee, talkin' to the man from Galilee.  He spoke to me in the voice so sweet. I thought I heard the shuffle of the angel's feet. He called my name and my heart stood still, when he said, "John, go do my will!"
✞ Lover, Please Stay - Nothing But Thieves
"So take from me, what you want, what you need. Take from me, whatever you want, whatever you need. But lover, please stay with me."
✞ Take It to the Limit - Eagles
"So put me on a highway and show me a sign. And take it to the limit, one more time."
✞ Indifference - Pearl Jam
"I will hold the candle till it burns up my arm. Oh, I'll keep takin' punches until their will grows tired. Oh, I will stare the sun down until my eyes go blind. Hey, I won't change direction. And I won't change my mind."
✞ From Eden - Hozier
"Babe, there's something tragic about you. Something so magic about you. Don't you agree? Babe, there's something lonesome about you. Something so wholesome about you. Get closer to me."
✞ Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me - Elton John
"Don't let the sun go down on me. Although I search myself, it's always someone else I see. I'd just allow a fragment of your life to wander free. But losin' everything is like the sun goin' down on me."
✞ Like Real People Do - Hozier
"I knew that look dear, eyes always seeking. Was there in someone that dug long ago? So I will not ask you why you were creeping. In some sad way I already know."
✞ Villians of Circumstance - Queens of the Stone Age
"There's no magic bullet, no cure for pain. What's done is done, 'til you do it again. Life in pursuit of a nameless prey. I've been so close, I'm so far away. It's so hard to explain, so easy to feel. I need you now, nothing is real. Save me from the villains of circumstance, before I lose my place"
✞ Believe - Brooks & Dunn
"Lord I raise my hands, bow my head. Oh, I'm findin' more and more truth in the words written in red. They tell me that there's more to life, than just what I can see."
✞ Knockin' on Heaven's Door - Bob Dylan
"Mama, take this badge off of me, I can't use it anymore. It's gettin' dark, too dark to see. I feel I'm knockin' on Heaven's door."
✞ Spirit Slips Away - Thin Lizzy
"When the darkness starts to fall. You're on your own and your back's against the wall. May the angels bring their flame to you when the darkness, it starts to fall."
✞ The Preacher - Jamie N Commons
"Listen to me my wayward flock, he cried with a noose round his neck. I spoke to the lord on the mountain top, his bidding was all I could do. I spoke to the Lord on the mountain top, his bidding was all I could do. He cries Oh Lord your works been done, now show me Heaven or kingdom come."
✞ Changes - Charles Bradley
"It took so long to realize, I can still hear her last goodbyes. And now all my days are filled with tears. Wish I could go back and change these years."
✞ Closer - Kings of Leon
"She took my heart, I think she took my soul. With the moon I run, far from the carnage of the fiery sun. Driven by the strangle of vein, showing no mercy, I'd do it again. Open up your eyes. You keep on crying, baby, I'll bleed you dry."
✞ Wasted Time - Eagles
"The love has come and gone. The years keep rushing on. I remember what you told me before you went out on your own. Sometimes to keep it together, you got to leave it alone. So you can get on with your search, baby. And I can get on with mine. Maybe someday we will find that it wasn't really wasted time"
✞ Better Love - Hozier
"By those who figured justice in fond memory, witness me. Like fire weeping from a cedar tree, know that my love would burn with me. We'll live eternally."
✞ These Days - The Black Keys
"Watch what you say, the Devil is listenin'. He's got ears that you wouldn't believe. And brother once you go to him, it's your soul you can never, never, never retrieve.
✞ Gravity - John Mayer
"Whoa, gravity is working against me. And gravity wants to bring me down. Oh, twice as much ain't twice as good, and can't sustain like one half could. It's wanting more that's gonna send me to my knees."
✞ Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd
"Okay, just a little pinprick. There'll be no more, but you may feel a little sick. Can you stand up? I do believe it's working, good. That'll keep you going through the show. Come on it's time to go"
✞ (Don't Fear) The Reaper - Blue Öyster Cult
"Come on, baby (and she had no fear). And she ran to him (then they started to fly). They looked backward and said goodbye (she had become like they are). She had taken his hand (she had become like they are). Come on, baby (don't fear the reaper)."
✞ Don't Cry - Guns N' Roses
"Don't you cry tonight. There's a heaven above you, baby. And don't you cry tonight. Give me a whisper, and give me a sigh. Give me a kiss before you tell me goodbye."
✞ Time Moves Slow - BADBADNOTGOOD
"But what was I to do? Just couldn't help myself falling in love with you. And what could I say? Oh, if I had another chance to make you stay."
✞ I'll Be Good - Jaymes Young
"I've been cold, I've been merciless. But the blood on my hands scares me to death. Maybe I'm waking up today. I'll be good, I'll be good. And I'll love the world, like I should"
✞ Stay in my Corner - The Arcs
"I won't always be a winner babe. In fact, I'm bound to burn. All these bumps in the road, dear. They're just lessons we learned. We learned."
✞ I Know It's Over - The Smiths
"Sad veiled bride, please be happy. Handsome groom, give her room. Loud, loutish lover, treat her kindly, though she needs you more than she loves you. And I know it's over- still I cling. I don't know where else I can go."

                ❝Catch Us If You Can!❞
                                         — a steneil playlist
 Youtube Playlist
Spaceship Adventures (The Killers)
Come with us On a spaceship adventure Flying through the galaxy We'll travel far to see sparkling beauty See the moon and see the stars There's a planet so very far from home
Clusterhug (IDKHow)
We can go to town We could turn around We can do anything Disseminate disease Doing anything That we please
Wild Is The Wind (David Bowie)
Don't you know you're life itself Like the leaf clings to the tree Oh, my darling, cling to me For we're like creatures of the wind And wild is the wind, wild is the wind
Catch Us If You Can (Elle King)
We are the wild, we are the reckless Set every mile, they'll never catch us Our star won't fade We are the wild, we are the reckless Set every mile, they'll never catch us Hey, hey, hey, hey We are rebel runaways
Outlaws (Alessia Cara)
You'll never face a judge without me You'll never battle the gavel alone And if they lock us away Then I'll be still here Proudly waiting to kill more time with you
Summertime (MCR)
And if you stay I would even wait all night Or until my heart explodes How long? 'Til we find our way in the dark and out of harm You can run away with me anytime you want
Don’t Stop Me Now (Queen)
I'm a rocket ship on my way to Mars On a collision course I am a satellite I'm out of control I am a sex machine ready to reload Like an atom bomb about to-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh explode

♫ ask for Murderface, Skwisgaar, and Pickles? Unless that’s to many then choose your fave from here c: thank you
Send me a ♫ + a character’s name and I will respond with a song that reminds me of them. Send a ♫ + a ship and I will do the same.
OOh this was fun!
Pickles (I actually have worked on a playlist for him on and off so here )
I Can’t Stop Partying-Rivers Cuomo (Lyrics) I feel like anyone who knows is this is by the one in the Raditude album but this was originally an acoustic song and i feel like it fits Pickles so well, especially with rehabklok by this line alone:
Screw rehab I love my addiction
Pickles-London Get Down (No lyrics found as this is an incredibly unknown band so I can only choose one line as im too tired to type out everything sdfk)
I still gotta see about uploading the lyrics to Genius but I feel like it does fit with Pickles and probably being afraid to fall in love or even the mere idea of someone trying to help him-
Take your time and make me whole
Pickles-Paradise Within (Lyrics) I was the one who transcribed the lyrics so might’ve gotten some words wrong?I tried-
I feel like he’d have a relationship during SnB-a very one-sided one with no real benefits to it and even when he had nothing to give to the person, he was the one to tell them to leave rather than leave them himself as he has some hope it’ll work out. Sadly doesn’t-
Spread your wings and fly away 'Cause there's nothing left to save
Skwisgaar
I gotta say Skwisgaar’s a bit tough but i managed to find something!
Dream All Day-The Posies (Lyrics)
I could say that this fits in his childhood. Poor guy probably just wanted a normal family to come home to. :(
In a blackened room Staring into space Underneath a thousand blankets Just to find a place Where everything is reachable
Too Young to Fall in Love-Motley Crue (Lyrics)
Teenage years-definitely feel that’s when he started becoming more sexually active, telling himself he didn’t need to fall in love at all for one time things (Though probably has more than once-)
(Too young to fall in love) I'm too young (Too young to fall in love) to fall in love
I Know the End-Phoebe Bridges (Lyrics)
I feel like it’d fit with Skwisgaar’s experience of living in America after moving from Sweden.
Either way, we're not alone I'll find a new place to be from A haunted house with a picket fence To float around and ghost my friends No, I'm not afraid to disappear
Murderface
Atom Bomb-Red Vox
Gives me huge vibes to him telling a story about his childhood in one of the comics (Can’t remember which-)
I feel like an atom bomb, blowing me out of my mind Can't take it anymore, tearing me from the inside
Get Famous-Mountain Goats (Lyrics)
Any mountain goats fits everyone i’m just saying-
You were born for these flashing lights You were born for these endless nights You always knew sooner or later You were destined for something greater

Song: Moon’s Thoughts
Album: They Live on the Sun
Year: 2003
Thoughts: If I could describe Moon’s Thoughts in one word, it would be “intense”. I won’t ramble on too long here because I feel like the meat of this song is in the lyrics, but I will add that this one is now a permanent fixture in my current monthly playlist (and also in the playlist of DJ brain goblin who provides the soundtrack of my life whether I want it or not)
I saw my insides fall out, and so I sucked them back in, I was surprised by what was in there
A little boy with dolphin fins, a bucket of leggos and gin, an atomic bomb, the Dali Lama.
This is an element I’ve personally found to be both fascinating and a unique feature of Cloud Cult’s discography. I absolutely love these little lists of unexpected and yet somehow related items; sometimes they’re benign (a boy with dolphin fins) and sometimes they’re unexpectedly aggressive (an atomic bomb).
A Good God and Thanks (both from The Meaning of 8) also possess this particular lyrical element, and it’s really cool to see it evolve and reappear throughout their work following They Live on the Sun.
He could not tell me the way, he could not tell me the meaning, until I'm ready to be crucified
Initially I wasn’t sure how to interpret these particular lyrics and I’m still not sure I have a grasp on what’s really going on here, but something I noticed when I started analyzing it is the lack of clarity about who “he” is. My first thought is the Dali Lama, since the words are about not knowing the way, but I also like the interpretation that the narrator is also asking/begging the little boy with dolphin fins and the alcohol for guidance.
In regards to “I’m ready to be crucified”, my thoughts go to the lessons I was taught as a child growing up in an evangelical/pentecostal household, about how sometimes it takes us hitting rock bottom and giving up everything before we turn back to god (I have some thoughts on this that probably belong in another discussion-- so much of what I learned back then I now approach with a feeling of “wow, yikes” but I digress)
And the wind is made of moon's thoughts
All quickened with poetry and madness,
And if you hold in your lungs for just a few seconds,
You'll feel the burning I speak of.
You'll feel the burning I speak of.
In regards to the music itself, I like how this part goes from just regular singing to something distorted and full of static. It really adds some flavor to this song and contributes to the overall aesthetic.
I’m not sure how to interpret these lyrics either, except that maybe our narrator is desperate to feel something other than soul-crushing sadness. Knowing that this band is Minnesota based, I also get an image of my mind of someone standing facing the wind and letting the burning, bitter cold of a blizzard hit them head-on.
We are Buddha, Confucious, and Jesus Christ.
We were born to philosophize.
And if you look to your left you’ll see Cloud Cult steeped in what appears to be some form of blasphemy/heresy. Just kidding, I actually love their wild interpretations of the concept of god regardless of how heretical they may be.
I was not going to analyze these two lines originally, but upon reading them for the second time, I do have some thoughts: rather than being heretical and saying that we are literally buddha or confucius or jesus, I might interpret this as almost a silly thing-- we are so wrapped up in our tiny, worried thoughts that we think ourselves god, when we’re just little animals running around making noises.
But if we want to fly, we've got to leave our shit on the ground.
Or is that too much to sacrifice?
This just might be my favorite line in this song. 1x1x1 (Love), one of top 10 cloud cult songs, expresses a very similar statement that I’ve spent the last four years or so trying to incorporate into my daily life:
You can't fly with such a heavy heart, heavy heart
You gotta do what must be done so learn to do it with some levity, levity.
Liked: As I mentioned at the beginning, I liked this one enough to add it to my regular playlist. Like many other cloud cult songs, I love the imagery and the familiar idea of leaving our weights (emotional, mental, maybe even physical) behind so we can go on to higher things.
Disliked: Honestly? Nothing. I don’t think there’s a single element I would change about this song.
Final Rating: Moon’s Thoughts gets an 8/10 for me. I know I said I couldn’t find anything wrong with it but I’m saving my 10/10’s for when I get to some of their more recent albums.

The One Aspect Of Marriage Nobody Prepares You For
My wife’s job has her flying across the country for a week at a time every so often. These weeks to myself always sound incredible. At first. Yay! I’ll finally get to rub my butt on everything without her there judging me! But alas, the high of rubbing butts on things is fleeting. Inevitably, within 48 hours, I’ll face a hard truth: I have no idea what to do with myself.
Within a day or two of losing the person who keeps me tethered to reality, I’m left with a lot of alone time, which I use to slowly demolish all that is good about myself. But there’s a trick to filling the void before it consumes me, a trick that you can also use. And it begins with …
5
Establish Clear Goals With A Detailed To-Do List
You’re an adult. You’re independent. You’re sharing your life with someone you love, but you don’t need them. You don’t need a crutch. You’re psychologically and genetically superior to most other humans. You can be totally cool with long periods which don’t involve seeing your closest loved ones, because you once survived a plane crash on a mysterious desert island inhabited by a smoke monster.

How The 'GOT' Fandom Impacted The Story In Major Ways
No. That was definitely the show Lost. Turns out you don’t know how to do any of that. No one prepares you for it when you enter a long-term relationship. You’re so used to being with someone that the sudden absence of their major and cherished presence is disorienting. I envy people who can look at that sudden vacancy without having a panic attack. Before the loneliness freakout sets in, I try to set myself up with goals that give me something to do so I don’t stew in my boredom. I need to know there’s something on the horizon that’s gotta get done. It’s not about occupying a week’s time. If it was that simple, I’d just watch the Lord Of The Rings special edition Blu-rays once. It’s about goals. If I set out to accomplish a set of specific goals throughout the week, I’m much more likely to not go stir-crazy.
I have a small chalkboard on which I write my list of goals. If I ever feel like I don’t know what to do with myself, I do something from the list. At the same time, I have a daily to-do list which covers the details that build up to the accomplishment of the larger stuff on the chalkboard list. Sometimes I’ll even make nano to-do lists on my phone which further break down the steps I need to take to accomplish things on the daily list. If I could pay my neighbors to scream “MAYBE TRY OUT A NEW RECIPE!” at me every hour on the hour, I would.
My definition of a goal is maybe a little too wide. Reading a book cover to cover usually makes the list. It’s a noble and enriching activity that has never been scratched off once. The ones that do are usually the sad ones, like the time the top goal of the week was “Go outside,” with a little drawing of a thermometer next to it. I’d celebrate each outing (walking the dog and getting burritos didn’t count) by filling a fifth of the thermometer with red, on up ’til the red thermometer juice (lava?) sprayed victoriously from the top.
Trying to replace my wife with a lot of menial accomplishments isn’t as rewarding as you’d think. But accomplishing so little can be exhausting, which is why it’s nice to work in some well-deserved relaxation …
4
Being Physically Unable To Relax
You’d think that with no one around, it’d be easy to finally get in some of that good no-pants-and-kind-of-drunk relaxation you’ve been craving. It’s just you and whatever you do that pulls you out of the world and makes you melt into the couch. Be around someone long enough, and you’ll find that it’s next to impossible to feel calm unless you lower the standard to pacing while cranking up the playback speed to see if you can speed-read an audiobook. The side effects of missing the company of someone you love sound like being on meth.
My brain’s natural reaction to boredom is to kill it; no remorse, no survivors. So it releases an elite squad of soldier brain cells to end my boredom’s reign once and for all. They have the discretion of an atom bomb. Where light reading or watching a couple episodes of a show might do the trick, the squad suggests weird shit like trying to bounce a racket ball from hand to hand for as long as I can while listening to an ’80s hair metal playlist at 2 a.m. This is where I remind you that this part of the column is about relaxing. One day soon, the squad will go AWOL and live off the grid and suggest I prepare for bed by wingsuiting through a canyon.
Then there are times when I’m on the cusp of relaxation, and it’s interrupted by a sudden deep fascination with whatever lulled me. One night, when I was already tucked into bed, wearing my jammies and my long sleeping cap with the fuzzy ball at the end, I was flicking through whatever YouTube’s recommendation algorithm spat at me. Suddenly, like an 18-wheeler into my REM cycle, it gave me a whole list of ESPN’s 30 for 30 shorts. Seconds before sleep, I fucked up and clicked on The Bad Boy Of Bowling, a shockingly compelling documentary about an all-time great pro bowler who doesn’t play by your tight-assed rules of decorum. And then a short about the history of the most despised mascot in all of baseball autoplayed right after. And then one on the history of the high five in professional spo- WHAT THE FUCK HOW IS IT DAWN.
Once video becomes the crutch, things start to go downhill pretty fast, in the most boring way possible.
3
Having No Hobby, I Watch Videos Of People With Hobbies
Around the time that you’re making a strikingly lifelike facsimile of your spouse out of pillows so you can have someone to gab with as you binge Gilmore Girls, you’ll realize you should have developed a hobby. And not just a “see how many marshmallows you can fit in your mouth”-type hobby or a “see if I can meow in a way that the cat thinks that there’s another cat in the house”-type hobby, but a hobby that demands solid crafting skills, attention to detail, and hours of undivided focus.
In a committed long-term relationship, it’s nice to have separate hobbies that you can retreat to as a small escape from the world and the relationship itself. A drop of selfishness goes a long way. That’s why my wife is into embroidery, while I do absolutely nothing constructive with my free time. It’s really only when she leaves that not having taken up a hobby becomes a problem. I have nothing that lets me devote the kind of singularly focused attention only the manual labor of a creative hobby can draw out.
So I end up watching tons of videos of people who do, like of this guy who makes amazing scenic dioramas.
youtube
Or this guy who has over 40 videos in which he makes beautiful Japanese wood joints and nothing else. No larger project to attach it to. Just one video after another of a guy so good at what he does that he can make hypnotic videos about corners.
youtube
Just hours and hours, deep into the night, of nothing but people way more talented than I am creating incredible works of art that will slowly grow a jealousy within me that will fester until I watch an “Epic Fails” compilation of people stumbling a little, just so I can take the edge off. They have a hobby that’s almost meditative, and I hate them for it. Yet it’s the only thing that comes close to easing the anxiety of suddenly being thrust back into living alone. But I’ll take whatever distraction I can get, because after a couple nights alone …
2
Childhood Fears Of Monsters Return With A Vengeance
With another person, any noise in the house is easily ignorable. It’s just the building settling after a long hot day. Remove a person, and that sound means the house’s demon is telling you to get out. Without realizing it, all this time together turns your significant other into a security blanket that wards off all irrational supernatural evils. You know there’s no one else around, so any errant noise must not only be someone else, but a something else.
I hit the point when I should start calling friends to hang out when I’m following noises around the house hoping it’s just my cat fucking around with the drapes again and not, ya know, the face of Linda Blair from The Exorcist. (Specifically in the picture of her in full makeup that was above the actual contact lenses she wore in the movie that were on display in the Planet Hollywood I ate at once as a kid. I sat facing the wall that fucked-up face was on. It burned into my retinas and sometimes makes a guest appearance on Night Four of my descent into spouselessness-induced madness.)
Marriage bestowed me with a bravery I never previously had. Almost nothing’s scary when you’re in this together. The furry monster with razor-sharp claws that stalks the living room at night is going to have to get through both of us. Sure, my wife would be functionally useless in a real furry-monster-in-the-living-room attack, but the power of our love fills me with a certainty that lets me know it’s going to be okay, because while it’s closing in on her, I can be somewhere else making a break for it. Can’t feel that confidence in my escape if she’s not there.
1
All Of Your Dietary Constraints Go Out The Door
A good partner is a moderating influence. They’ll let you get away with an extra slice of cake now and again, but they’ll stop you from trying to swallow the whole thing in one gulp like it’s an Advil. As much as we’d all like to believe we’re an island (even one with smoke monsters), we are social creatures. We need human contact. Remove the primary source of contact, and it’s only a matter of time before you’re trying to fill the void of the other person with a vice, like food, as if calories and a carbs are a suitable replacement for love when all they usually deliver is loose stools.
Without someone to keep me in check, I end up falling into a pit of indulgence that ends up eating at me. I do all the cooking in our home. I make sure we eat sensibly. I love my wife and want to protect her, even from foods that could do her harm in the long run. I don’t want her heart to explode in 30 years, and as she’s clutching my neck she whispers with her final breath that it was my twice-weekly bacon, guava, and brie grilled cheeses that did this. I did this, with the destruction power of my BGB sandwiches.
Me without my wife plus about four days equals driving out of the Taco Bell drive thru and deciding that the only thing that can wash down these two Quesoridos is a 12-inch Italian sub. When I have no one else to elevate my self-respect game, my weaknesses shine. If I’m only responsible for my heath, things are going to get gross. Including more feels like manslaughter, and explaining the aftermath feels like a crime scene.
When my wife gets back, everything adjusts back to normal. This happens every time she leaves. If I’m an inflatable wacky arm tube guy at a car dealership, then she’s the power plug that blows air up my ass to make me dance. Take it out and I fall into a sack of my own skin.
Luis is sitting on the couch watching TV with his wife. In the meantime, you can find him on Twitter, Tumblr, and Facebook.
Tell the world you don’t need to play by any of society’s rules (except for commerce and some other stuff) with this renegade cat mug!

DOES SOMEONE WANT TO PROOF- READ THIS FOR ME?! I’m writing a book…
SIPHAN & HYPHEN NEWS:
PROPOSAL: What if sound resonating at 528Hz is all that is needed to “rip up” the radioactive soil & wash the negativity clean?
AUG 3 2017
ARTICLE WRITTEN BY: Danielle Patoir Aka “Patoirlove” or character/ persona: Siphan
WHAT IF frequencies like 528HZ & 432Hz could clear out the radioactivity in & around Ridgewood Queens?? What if prayer and positive vibes could alter the vibration of a place enough to clear out any damage that has already taken place?
What if it doesn’t matter if Trump cuts the funds of the EPA.. even if I don’t agree with it..? (as I am all for helping the environment) Just maybe it doesn’t matter because we can help the environment without him. We can better the world with those who actually want to make a difference towards world peace. We can make the calls.
Let’s start with one specific location at a time perhaps. Let’s start with “the RAKit Club” which is in one of the warehouses noted on the site to be affected by radioactivity. This same “radioactive” place has been my welcoming “home” for part of this year, 2017. It is an artist safe- haven that deserves to be “safe”; & what I like to call my “dream land”- heaven on earth. The last thing I want to see is this place torn to the ground but let’s focus on what we DO WANT instead of what we don’t, right? I see a place that can make an impact on  the world for the better; in endless ways. RAKit Club is magical & if we could focus on that it would go a long way. It is definitely a spiritual space that is healing in itself  & could be healed by waves of sound & prayer if we believe in it. “Miracles” happen everyday & thoughts become things. Choose them wisely.
What you focus on, you create. So focus your attention consciously, and do not allow your attention to stray to results that you aren't interested in manifesting. Because you can, and will, create more of what you are focusing on.~ Mary Morrissey
Let’s clear out the radioactivity without having to tear anything down, so people can stay where they are.. Let’s build the community up instead of wrecking it down. It is time to change the course of history. The world in general can use some help but first... Here are our starting points: the longitude & latitude lines of location: RAKit Club:
RAKit Club: https://www.facebook.com/rakitclub/
In a place called Ridgewood Queens (though feels like Bushwick- Brooklyn) lies an artist haven called “RAKit Club”. People come from near & far to visit this oasis as it also hosts air b’n’b for travelers world-wide & has a music venue set up & ready for performers. Saying this place is amazing doesn’t cut it or even come close to what it could become. It’s light years beyond its time; it’s another dimension where possibilities are endless. Who wants in? Warning: you may never want to leave & you can pretty much do anything you need there.
Recently, I have been wanting to create an entire show wrapped around the concept of RAKit Club. I thought it would be entertaining (to say the least) if we filmed our lives here in “dream world” & “aired” the good vibes for others to “tune into”.  I thought we could have “live- streaming”- life “events” which would basically be gigantic “gift- giving” parties where we offer our “life gifts” (passions/ talents etc); aka as sharing “dream-life”. See how things circle around infinitely? What has been done…. Can it be undone? Pull the ribbon..  open the box… look inside it. I mean it’s been inside you the entire time. YOU apparently are the UNIVERSE… So.. If a place is radioactive… what is that telling you about yourself? What about chakras? Here’s where chakra healing comes in & I talk about how the different tones resonate, just like the different colors do, of the 7 energy centers. This could be an entire book in itself.
Anyway, going back to this “article” on “Siphan & Hyphen News”, if that’s what you want to call it... The news reporter informed me how this area is RADIOACTIVE & the EPA was planning an entire project to clear it out. As much as I am all for the environment & helping it, I was disappointed when I heard this statement. I thought: “Where will everyone go? Demolish the area?” The news reporter continued to update me… she told me how TRUMP was planning on cutting the funds of the EPA however by ~31% so they would NOT have the resources to do the project. I for once actually felt a sort of relief by this information despite feeling confusion since Trump is pretty much opposite everything I believe & trust. I just want to see RAKit Club flourishing.. & that involves it still standing. My mission was to build this up… it’s been my “foundation” when I was “flying” around...I thought to myself. I didn’t know how to respond to her questions & I guess I mumbled enough at the time that she luckily decided to go with the other interviews she gathered. Anyway, it left me pondering.. & now I write.
WHAT IF WE DON’T NEED THE FUNDING?! WHAT IF WE COULD DO THIS WITHOUT DEMOLISHING THE AREA??! OR WITHOUT EVACUATING BUSINESSES & PEOPLE FROM THEIR HOMES?!
INTRODUCTION
My name is Danielle Patoir but I like to go by my character persona “Siphan” when it comes to this story & proposal. As a sound healer who has been studying music, the body & mind, the chakras & the corresponding frequencies when tuned in 528hz; I cannot help but wonder...
The other day, I was interviewed by Lori Chung from the Spectrum News Channel - News1 in Brooklyn, New York about my thoughts about what is going on in the world; when to be honest; I don’t watch the news much so she had to fill me in. People fill me in usually within 16 seconds (since Abraham Hicks says more thoughts of that frequency pour in after 17 seconds) because I simply cannot handle the low vibrations. I am constantly focusing on my dreams & the change I want to see in the world. Anyway, the specific question the news reporter, Lori Chung, asked me, was about the location we both were standing in… the street right outside of the RAKit Club in NYC.

Some examples of sound healing can be found on YouTube. I have created a playlist for those specifically related to what I am about to embark on…

Where there is a “problem”.. there ought to be a “solution”.. It is just the matter of looking deeper in the direction & getting the right people together to do something about it…” I am going to need help with this project as I cannot do this alone. Any sound healers who want to come join us in a circle & perform some tunes, please do. Those who want to round up some more research with the intention of actually finding answers or useful information; please do. As ridiculous as it sounds, in life & in this “example” situation; it comes down to the power of belief, the power of intention, our thoughts, energy, & vibration. I mean even Tesla said it; ““If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.”
― Nikola Tesla
This is EXACTLY what I am doing here. I am pondering other possibilities because I feel there has to be an alternative way.
TO QUOTE him again: Every living being is an engine geared to the wheelwork of the universe. Though seemingly affected only by its immediate surrounding, the sphere of external influence extends to infinite distance. Nikola Tesla

What if you found out your “home” was “radioactive”? I am “actively” going to have to put this on the “radio” because we apparently create our realities. SO, why is this even a thing? Though that makes me wonder about radio frequencies now…
528Hz is the sound of Love however, there are many conspiracy theorists out there that believe that modern day music, TV commercials and the like are programmed at a lower and unnatural 440Hz frequency which is designed to stimulate fear, sickness and oppression. 440Hz is an unnatural tuning frequency and according to Dr. Leonard Horowitz “the music industry features this imposed frequency that is herding populations into greater aggression, psycho social agitation and emotional distress predisposing people to physical illness.” The theory is that the 440Hz frequency was adopted during the Nazi regime in order to control prisoners and lower their consciousness. Then in 1940 the US introduced 440Hz as the standard frequency.

So as noted in the site above, we are constantly around these negative frequencies. What if even for ONE DAY ALL AT ONCE we did the opposite of the atomic bomb & “hit” the town with 528Hz??? Press the button. What if we changed the constant frequencies that surround us a little bit & washed away the negativity as if we were washing dirt off our plates. I can tell you we are more than capable of playing 528Hz on our phones as we travel around via  YouTube videoes; I do it all the time. Maybe make it a game & “light up some paths.”..

NEWS IN A BUBBLE
LOCATION: Superfund Site: WOLFF-ALPORT CHEMICAL COMPANY
RIDGEWOOD, NY
https://cumulis.epa.gov/supercpad/cursites/csitinfo.cfm?id=0206479
Here is the article: http://www.ny1.com/nyc/all-boroughs/news/2017/07/27/epa-has-plan-to-clean-up-former-chemical-plant-in-ridgewood.html
To quote it: There's a new multimillion dollar plan aimed at cleaning up the site of a former chemical plant in Queens. The Environmental Protection Agency is proposing a nearly $40 million clean-up of radioactive waste at the Wolff-Alport Chemical Company on Cooper Avenue and Moffat Street in Ridgewood. The plant operated between 1920 and 1954, processing radioactive chemicals for the development of nuclear weapons. The EPA plans on permanently relocating some businesses, demolishing contaminated buildings, and getting rid of contaminated soil. But with the Trump administration mulling over slashing the agency's budget, some worry if they will have enough funds to complete the project.
The questions that arise in my mind are: Who is measuring the radioactivity? Also, how? I want to speak with you so if you are reading this article please reach out. Can we expose the area to constant sound frequencies until it is all cleared up & how much exposure would be necessary? Yes, this might sound far fetched a bit but I will continue to find things that back this method up as a possibility to say the least.
This entire thing is also proving that if we all decided that we don’t NEED money at all… we wouldn’t. It is the made up in between. What we need are people who actually care & are willing to do something about it, working together as a team. What would you like to see happen? Are you one who cares enough about planet earth or this situation that you would like to sign a mailing list?.. ‘Cos I have a making a list… ( button on website: www.patoirlovemusic.com) NOTE: We are actively looking for sponsors for RAKit Club. Feel free to send me comments, concerns, questions..
SITE HISTORY/ BACKGROUND: Superfund Site: WOLFF-ALPORT CHEMICAL COMPANY
https://cumulis.epa.gov/supercpad/cursites/csitinfo.cfm?id=0206479
I QUOTE the website (link above):
The Wolff-Alport Chemical Company Superfund site is located at 1125 to 1139 Irving Avenue and 1514 Cooper Avenue in Ridgewood, Queens, New York on the border with Bushwick, Brooklyn, New York. This nearly triangular area covers approximately 0.75 acres and is bound by Irving Avenue to the southwest, Cooper Avenue to the northwest, and a former cabinet manufacturing facility to the east. At present, the property is covered, primarily, with contiguous structures, except for a former rail spur along its edge, which is an unpaved area where tracks are no longer present and is currently used for automobile storage. The on-site buildings contain a delicatessen/grocery, office space, residential apartments, several auto repair shops, and warehousing space.
The Wolff-Alport Chemical Company operated at the Site from the early 1920s until 1954, importing monazite sand from the Belgian Congo and extracting rare earth metals from the material. Monazite contains 6-8% or more of thorium. Until 1947, the Wolff-Alport Chemical Company disposed of the thorium waste from monazite sand processing in the sewer and possibly by burial on the property. Recent investigations have indicated that residual contamination still exists on-site and in or around the sewer lines downstream of the facility.

Thoughts flash in my head..  I have to contact whoever is measuring this radioactivity.. How is it done? Because for over a year now… I have known about the frequency of 528Hz… aka “the miracle tone” the frequency of LOVE. I have also known about experiments done with messages of “LOVE” verses “HATE” & seen how geometric patterns result when exposed to “love” rather than chaos with “hate”. I also read that 528Hz has been known to clear polluted waters in New Mexico. Let me continue my research..which I will do if I have the time.. But WHAT IF 528HZ is the answer to clearing up the toxicity of the radioactivity? And in an even greater scale: What if 528Hz is the answer to peace on earth?
----------------
First, I guess we need to define what is “RADIOACTIVITY” exactly….
Definition of radioactivity (according to wiki)
:  the property possessed by some elements (such as uranium) or isotopes (such as carbon 14) of spontaneously emitting energetic particles (such as electrons or alpha particles) by the disintegration of their atomic nuclei; also :  the rays emitted
https://nuclear-energy.net/definitions/radioactivity.html :
Radioactivity defined as the spontaneous emission of particles (alpha, beta, neutron) or radiation (gamma, K capture), or both at the same time, from the decay of certain nuclides that these particles are, due to an adjustment of their internal structure.
Radioactivity can be natural or artificial. In natural radioactivity, the substance already has radioactivity in the natural state. In artificial radioactivity, the radioactivity has been induced by irradiation.

Ok, So I guess some SCIENCE is coming in here..
Also, what exactly happened here (history-wise) when it comes to the RAKit Club’s location? Can we do some experiments where we all get together to play music tuned to the particular 528Hz  tone? How long until we see a notable difference? Maybe the best way to do this is an event? I still have a lot of questions & a lot of researching to do but I wanted to get this started. The more people throwing thoughts out there of possible solutions anyway, the better.
Well, I can tell you something.. That I was planning to have an event the week of my birthday.. A month from now.. September 6th for other reasons.. But I feel this can be the best gift at all. I wanted everyone to gather around & share their “gifts” meaning their “life purposes”, their “passions”, their “knowledge”, what they love to talk about, their visions & dreams & pursuits… I wanted to create an event to celebrate life where we all can enjoy one another’s company in an amazing uplifting environment... which is planned to happen at RAKit CLub. I also wanted it to be a “SHOW” that can be aired since I love acting & live with others that do as well. Let’s make skits, let’s paint, let’s make music, let’s do some yoga, meditate, dance, exercise in all different forms, enjoy the garden outside, breathe, converse, etc etc… but ALSO.. let’s help HEAL the world. My overall mission as well as what seems to be RAKit Clubs’ is WORLD PEACE. “FIXING” this area with sound would be a small stepping stone but a pebble if you will of PEACE. If we can “HEAL” the vibrations of everything going on around here.. We could heal the world through sound as well.. It just takes A LOT of people coming together with the same vibrations. The facts are many people tune in different frequencies; the standard being 440Hz rather than 444Hz= A (when in 528Hz). It is known that the chakras resonate with the frequencies as well.. I can write an entire book on this however.
COMMUNITY “SERVICE”- MISSION- WHY THIS COULD WORK
“Everything in this Universe, including you is vibrating at a frequency. This is because you and everything around you is energy. The energy of the Earth vibrates at a 528Hz frequency which is the same frequency as Love, the Universal Healer. The frequency of 528Hz is believed to be so powerful that it can help repair and restore DNA damage, bring peace and harmony and restore equilibrium to everything around it.” I suggest reading this article if you are interested because I want to quote the entire thing: http://foreverconscious.com/sound-healing-528hz-the-frequency-of-love-and-miracles
“Famous physicist, Nikola Tesla also researched energetic frequencies and claimed that if we could eliminate certain frequencies that interfered with our bodies then we could lower the chances of disease.”
We can do this together with the power of thought…  To quote Mary Morrisey:
Nature herself does not distinguish between what seed it receives. It grows whatever seed is planted; this is the way life works. Be mindful of the seeds you plant today, as they will become the crop you harvest.
~Mary Morrissey
OVERALL MISSION STATEMENT-  MEASUREMENTS- FOLLOW UPS
We will have to have the radioactivity constantly measured.. Which I am still looking into how it all gets done.
SOURCES- FUNDING
So, you might be thinking.. “How much will this cost?” or “We could do this without money you just need some people to play some music over & over again”. Well, yes we can have people play 528Hz for FREE; we just need freedom & the time to do so but there is this thing called “society” which revolves around this made up green stuff so ….? How can we function in it? I am not going to lie, it would be wonderful if we could raise enough money so that everyone in RAKit Club who is working on this project can live for free & have an amp supply of all necessities including food, drink, clean water, toiletries & other house appliances, music equipment, etc etc & the time to pursue this all with their travels paid for if necessary. Perhaps some sort of “gift” giving exchange needs to take place? Perhaps a cook wants to come cook for us, a barista wants to make coffee for us? Perhaps a crew wants to film & document this entire project? We need camera men & women, video editors, scientists, writers/ reporters/ bloggers, more musicians & artists, environmentalists, perhaps herbal doctors?, what else? Who else? Are you interested & how can you help? What role suits you? Perhaps all the necessary roles can be filled & all that is needed can be delivered to us? It almost feels like we are creating an alliance with the EPA or forming a non- profit. What’s next? To be honest, if this sound healing works; this is worth a trillion bucks.. because it is a breakthrough for humankind- it would be proof we can heal the world through sound. Tune in.
Let’s first throw an event to start this off. Perhaps the “events” could be looked at as the yin to the yang if the yang were the atomic bombs and weapons going off producing the toxic wastes & radioactivity. Let’s disappear into that equilibrium line.
We can make this our “full- time real jobs” where we play healing vibes both at the venue & streaming through technology all over the world. Would you hire me as a “sound healer” because I need a job (side- note hah). Anyway, we can throw events in the space one after another; but first let’s start with one this September (my birthday week -2017). How about those who cannot make it to the space (as there is also a limit to how comfortable it would be), can tune in & play the 528Hz through their screen to help the world mission branch out. I propose we get everyone together & play 528hz for a few days in a row (like a mini music festival) that can revolve around different life-styles.
I guess we would need to pay whoever is running the scientific tests so they can also function in the outside world unless they are down for “gift exchanging out of interest & passion” as well. Many of us here at RAKit club are devoted to the dream & are starting a MOVEMENT to help not only the people here in New York but the entire world. How about you just “pay what you want” towards this if you believe in this entire intention & project.. If you want to.. because you are donating to a good cause. This is a cause which will have many mini missions that are merely stepping stones towards the overall mission of WORLD PEACE. Let us live in harmony & start with the 528Hz to have a clean new slate… ;) Namaste.
I’ll end this by quoting myself again because I am told we are special beings with gifts to share; just drop the ego… & there is no ego here… nor egg ‘cos I’m vegan. Jokes.
“All I want for my 32nd birthday is for everyone in the world to tune into 528Hz… & play it loud & clear.. & observe with feeling... what is happening... “
