from → yuki     for → tohru — @tsuncte
honda-san seemed stressed. the whole week she avoided talking about her feelings and what was wrong. yuki couldn’t help but feel worried. he didn’t want to come off as too clingy, or- well. overbearing, but he worried for her.
it was lunch time. their friends were happily chatting, but yuki couldn’t find any solace to it. tohru had barely touched her food, her gaze kept looking down, she was worried about something, and it affected her greatly if she couldn’t even touch her food. he took a deep breath, ready to ask a question- but decided against it. he could hear ayame in the back of his mind telling him that sometimes people don’t want to talk about their feelings, not to feel offended or hurt. it was always easy to say. his big brother was good with emotions, always saying how he felt with much exuberance, yuki couldn’t help but feel just a bit jealous.
shaking his head, he took a bite from his bento, tohru made it for him- she always put his favourite, she was kind like that. nibbling on his rice, he could hear alarm bells ringing in the back of his mind, he steeled himself and shifted just enough to lightly nudge the female beside him, offering a soft smile, and asking her quietly, just loud enough for the both of them to hear, “honda-san isn’t hungry?”

oh my stars ☆ andrew bell            ↪ @shinpain
tohru fiddled with the hem of her cardigan, tugging on the pastel fabric as he made her way up the stairs, hovering near kyo’s bedroom door. she knew that he was there. they had all walked from school back home, and she also knew that he hadn’t planned on doing any homework- or any training. she was just hesitant. lately, he seemed angry at her. she couldn’t understand why, though. yesterday, he had shared an umbrella and ate lunch together- laughing and smiling. it made her feel a bit confused.
when she had asked yuki, he told her not to worry, that he had ‘his head up his ass’. tohru scrunched up her nose at the reply, but smiled regardless. at least kyo and yuki were starting to get along a bit better, at least she hoped so.
she raised her fist and gently rapped against the door, shifting from side to side, fingers laced behind her lower back. perking up when she heard shuffling on the other side nearing where she was standing, she smiled widely when the door cracked open, eyes peering up at the taller male in front of her with a flush on her cheeks, “kyo-kun! want to help me bake a cake for everyone?”
