It looks like the Ali Project Fan Club first meeting was at "L’epoque des ZAZOUS" at STAR PINE’S CAFE, 2000.2.24.

According to the 5.25.2000 pamphlet, the STAR PINE'S CAFE show should have been 8.5.2000 unless it was delayed, confirming this performance to be L’epoque des ZAZOUS.

This is a PV-like version of the same video as the live video 198824 (198824 was released in 2000). (The opening illustration is by Kamui Fujiwara, a manga artist who was a friend of mine at the time. The illustration at the end is by Arika.

蟻プロジェクト 198824 was recorded February 4. 1988. According to this wikipedia it was released on VHS on March 3, 2000. If you look at the L’epoque des ZAZOUS paperwork, you can see the VHS even being advertised for mail order purchase.

I've been merging the mp3's into one very large concert mp3 that plays the songs back to back, no dead air, this would be paired with a track list with additional information.

I've also been trying to find other information about the 3 events, maybe even pictures from it but it seems futile as all my resources have lead to dead ends.

To be honest, this is the best find for an ALI PROJECT/CLAMP fan, it's right in the window of their collaborations of Clamp School Detectives and Wish, which we have not had that much information over the years... and this has been an "on and off " search since I saw the Wish Opening animation in 1998.

Now... if we would only get the advertisement for "Wish Live".

Translation Notes *The phrase here 指を切り合って(yubi wo kiriatte) is a pun on 指切り (yubiriki / pinky promise). Kiriau means to cross swords, so it gives the image that they're struggling to make a promise. **夢の跡 is a phrase literally meaning "traces of a dream", but figuritavely it means a place where dreams have disappeared, and is meant to highlight the futility of reality, hence the "long-gone" part. ***Just to make sure because it's surprising how many people don't know this, 'sayonara' is like a "i'm never going to see you again" type of goodbye, so I added the "sad" part to make sure that nuance is conveyed in English. ****目を瞑る means both to shut one's eyes and to ignore/pretend not to know. *****涙が出るの 声も出ないの -- the verb in both of these phrases used is the same ("tears leave, voice doesn't leave" literally) so even though it would sound more natural as "i begin to cry" I decided to translate it this way to keep the juxtaposition.

■まとめ

今日が流星群のピークだと タクシーのラジオで聞いた。

「0時半頃、北東の空」

僕はまだ流星群て見たことがなくて、 絵本の流れ星のようなものが無数に空に現れて 燃え尽きて死ぬのだと考えていた。

夕立の後の夜はまだ湿っぽくて、生ぬるい。 今はあの雨が嘘のように晴れ渡っている。

流星群もきっと嘘のように現れるのだろう。

「パッとしてシュッとして、死ぬ。」

アパートの屋上、 独り言でつぶやいたそんな言葉を無視するように、

「来た」

幾つもいくつも、星が流れた。

星々が死んだ。 そう思った。

流星群の後には、ただただ美しい星空が広がっていた。

「世界はもう二度と戻って来ないと言っている。」

僕の独り言は夏の夜に　溶けて　消えた。

08_After the meteor shower

I heard on the taxi radio that today is the peak of the meteor shower I heard on the radio in the cab.

It was around half past midnight in the northeastern sky.

I have never seen a meteor shower yet. I had never seen a meteor shower yet, and I was thinking that countless numbers of them, like shooting stars in a picture book, would appear in the sky I thought they would burn up and die.

The night after the evening shower was still damp and lukewarm. Now the sky is clear as if that rain was a lie.

The meteor shower will surely appear as if it were a lie.

Poof, swoosh, and die."

On the rooftop of my apartment. On the rooftop of my apartment building, I heard him mumbling to himself, ignoring my words.

"Here they come."

Many, many, many stars fell.

Stars died. I thought so.

After the meteor shower, there was just a beautiful starry sky.

The world is telling me it's never coming back."

My soliloquy melted away in the summer night.

Dedicated to Vincent Van Gogh, Holland legendary painter who captured the shining stars in the sky at night.

And July 7th is Tanabata festival Known as Star Festival Celebrating the meeting of deities Orihime and Hikoboshi Representing Vega and Altair each. The lovers are separated by The Milky Way and allowed to meet Only once a year... That date is July 7th every year.

ラッピングの裏話を大公開！

いつも駅メモ！をご利用いただきありがとうございます。 制作チームのコンノです。

前回「駅メモ！7周年ブログ 　歴代周年衣装を振り返ろう！」で各周年衣装のラフを公開しましたが、今回はいくつかの過去のラッピングの裏話やラフを公開したいと思います。

干支おみくじ

まずは2018〜2020年の1月に登場したラッピング、「干支おみくじ」です。 巫女装束をベースにして、干支とファンタジー要素を取り入れバリエーションを増やしたこちらのラッピング、年を重ねるごとにエフェクトやアレンジが加わりより豪華になっていきました。

干支の要素は耳や尻尾、毛皮や羽、鱗など動物の要素が視覚的にわかりやすい要素を入れています。 初めに2018年版の干支おみくじラッピングを作成する時に、各でんこの誕生日に因んだ年数を元に干支を選出しました。当時の新登場でんこ、根雨つむぎの誕生日に因んだ年数も、2018年の戌と同じになっています。

激突！でんこウォーズ

次は2020年9月に登場した「激突！でんこウォーズ」のラッピングです。 チーム内でも案を温めてきたミリタリー系衣装。二つの陣営に分けて、ストーリーもいままでのラッピングストーリーとは違った緊迫感を出しました。

衣装のベースはミリタリーロリータに寄せつつ、陣営がわかりやすいようにするのとコンセプトに合うようメインカラーを赤と緑の補色になるようにしました。 ラッピングデザインは画像のラフイメージをベースにして、階��が上がるごとに豪華になるようにしました。帝国側は銃などの武器を持たせ、王国側は青く光る魔法のエフェクトを入れています。姉妹のでんこは基本同じ陣営にしていますが、中には別れてしまった姉妹も…？

また、この二つの陣営のロゴデザインもデザイナーにしっかり作り込んでもらいました！

サンタなでんこ2020

そして2020年12月に登場したラッピング、「サンタなでんこ2020」です。 「Happy Xmas！」以来のサンタ衣装の登場でより豪華になって帰ってきました。

クリスマスカラーのサンタ服をベースにしつつ、白いファーやポンポン、雪だるまやプレゼントのリボンのようなモチーフを取り入れました。トナカイの衣装も茶色をベースにしつつもほかの衣装と並べても極端な違いが出ないようカラーリングやモチーフをサンタの衣装に寄せました。 初めはまふゆの衣装からラフデザインを製作して、採用されなかったラッピング案はまぜのラッピングデザインになりました。

Starry Sky

最後に今年の7月に登場したラッピング「Starry Sky」です。 星空をテーマにしたロマンティックなラッピングで、銀河や星々をイメージしたカラーリングや意匠を取り入れています。

画像のラフイメージをベースに、各パーツのデザインも他のキャラクターのラッピングにも使用してバリエーションを出しつつもデザインに統一感が出るようにしました。 銀河をイメージした暗めの紫、青、ピンクのグラデーションカラーを使用し、また全体的に重くなりすぎないよう、バランスを考えつつ、服の素材をシースルーなど軽いものにしました。銀河のイメージのほかに、夜明け前をイメージしたカラーリングを取り入れています。

- Meteor Garden & Jolin Tsai’s Magic/Watch My 72 Transformations album were among the suggestions for go club names. I always assumed they were Mingming’s suggestions.


- 妳聽得到 (You Can Hear It) is from the Jay Chou album Shi Guang bribed Gu Yu with.


- Jay Chou wrote some of S.H.E’s songs so my headcanon is that that’s how Mingming gets Gu Yu into S.H.E. XD Electric Shock is one of them, but maybe she gets him into it through something like Migratory Bird, from S.H.E’s 2004 album.


- The little icons are because the 雨 Yu in Gu Yu means rain and the 雪 Xue in Jiang Xueming means snow. I thought it would be cute haha.
