Soon, Osborn and I both came to the roller coaster wearing a matching pair of headbands.

Screams resounded from the roller coaster as it zipped past. People who were queuing down below all wore a mixed expressions of excitement and fear.

MC: Look, a roller coaster!

Osborn: Want to ride it?

MC: Of course! I heard that this was one of the attractions that we must absolutely try out when coming to an amusement park.

MC: But this should be nothing to the great Osborn, right?

Osborn: Why?

MC: Is a race car faster than a roller coaster?

Osborn: Of course it is! But you definitely can’t be in the passenger seat when I’m riding to race.

MC: It’s unfortunate that I can’t see you driving the race car with my own two eyes…

MC: But I think being able to see you scream while riding a roller coaster’s a fair trade-off!

Osborn: How proud of you. You don’t even know who’s going to be the one screaming when the time comes.

MC: Hehe, let’s wait and see!

Whilst talking, we finally came to the front of the ongoing queue.

Osborn: Dare to sit in the front row?

MC: Of course!

I nodded in determination despite still feeling a little anxious about it all. I did just say that, after all.

At the staff’s prompt, we took off our headbands and stashed our belongings. Osborn took my hand and confidently walked right up to the front row.

Osborn: Here we are. No regrets now.

I didn’t respond to his jibe, but I did settle into my seat one step ahead of him, giving him a smug smile.

Osborn couldn’t help but laugh despite himself as he stepped into the roller coaster and sat beside me.

Soon, the roller coaster started up, charging forth into the air.

It wasn’t long before instinctual fear took over. I clung tightly to the safety bar with both hands, only to hear a chuckling sound beside me.

Turning around, I saw Osborn looking at me in an unfazed manner.

MC: No laughing at me! I’m not scared!

Osborn: Just a little nervous? Naturally. Alright, I’ll take your word for it.

Osborn: But you can hold onto this if you’re really afraid.

Osborn pointed at his arm. Noticing how the roller coaster was gradually climbing higher and higher, I decided to take him up on the offer and grabbed onto his arm instead.

MC: It's not my fault if I hurt you by squeezing too hard.

Osborn: I know, but please treat me kindly.

I was just about to say something, but we’d reached the peak.

And considering how we were seated on the front row, I could see the ground, which was far beneath us now. I unwittingly clutched tighter to his arm.

However, the roller coaster stopped right at the top, which made my heart, already tense with nervousness, speed all the way up.

MC: Why did it stop? Don't tell me-- AHHH!!

Just as I was wondering why it’d stopped, the roller coaster zipped downward and all I could feel was the strong rush of wind against my face as everything around me blurred.

Now, I couldn’t care about what I’d just said earlier, for all I could do was scream as the roller coaster rose and fell.

I finally experienced the joy of a roller coaster ride, perhaps because Osborn was with me.

It is only till the roller coaster comes to a halt that I remembered with startling clarity - I’d originally wanted to see Osborn screaming.

But, when I turned my head around, I was greeted by him staring at me with a calm and unfazed look on his face.

Osborn: Back to your senses yet?

MC: Yikes, was I screaming my head off?

Osborn: Nope. I wanted to see a certain dummy terrified.

Osborn: But it was fun seeing you enjoy yourself.

MC: Maybe it was because I imagined the roller coaster to be your race car and it felt like I was out on the tracks with you.

Osborn: Sounds like we can go for a couple more rides on this thing in the future.

MC: Sure! I’m not scared at all with you by my side.

A staff member was handing something out to all exiting visitors at the roller coaster attraction’s exit. Osborn and I each took one.

MC: Kuromi stickers!

Looking at the Kuromi stickers, all with different varying expressions, a sudden idea pops into mind.

MC: Osborn, look! There’s a huge Kuromi over there!

Osborn: Huh? What?

I pointed behind him, making him turn his head. Then, I took the chance to tear off a sticker and stick it on his face.

MC: Hehe, you fell for it!

Osborn: Why you little devil.

Osborn touched his face and looked at me with an indescribable look. He didn’t know whether to cry or to laugh at having fallen for such a trick.

MC: You were the one who made me wear the headband while I wasn’t looking, so this time, it’s my turn!

Osborn: You seem to forget that I, too, have a card up my sleeve?

Osborn tore off a sticker from his sticker sheet and was just about to stick it onto my face when I booked it. He then pulled me right back into his arms.

The screams of the roller coaster’s passengers resonated through the air, intertwining with our yelps and laughter, joyful and lively.

this is how i styled the MC look with the Boyfriend outfit!

Osborn MC Look

other than Osborn's shirt and blue earrings and necklace. i tried to match Osborn's green eye colors and put the little mole near the eye. i like this style bcs it look so comfy and casual.

Evan MC Look

when i thought about Evan, i immediately thought the color red. i'm in loooove with this red eyes that resembles Evan's. the simplicity of the necklace is so cute, paired with the earrings.

Charlie MC Look

Charlie is all about lavish and exquisite patterns. tried to look for a similar purple eye colors, but i don't have the lens, so i make do with the star eyes. the accessories? of course it's liven up to Charlie's taste.

Sariel MC Look

when i think about Sariel's style, the word 'elegance' is on top of my list. since he is the infamous designer himself. the style is very simple, with the golden eye colors with a touch of green accessories on MC's earrings and necklace.

Jesse MC Look

Jesse is about cuteness and girlish look! his yellow shirt show how much Jesse has a bright personality to his jiejie. tried to put the green eyes, but it's not the exact same color like Jesse's. i also put the stars sticker on MC's face because Jesse loves to sing 'twinkle twinkle little star' to MC.

Charlie: It’s terribly unfortunate, but no. I’m just here to help my fiancée with her insomnia.

Charlie: (PS. If you’re adamant about it, I can always put our wedding ceremony on the agenda ASAP)

MC: I don’t think I want to sleep early anymore… I’ve just about given up…

Charlie: Hey, hey, hey! Don’t be a couch potato. Stand up, Miss (Y/N)!

Charlie: If you can’t fall asleep alone, then why don’t I join you?

MC: [!]

Charlie: Don’t worry. It’s most likely not what you’re thinking right now.

Charlie: I’m saying that we can both go to bed at the same time.

Charlie: Just let me know when you’re starting to feel sleepy, and operation “sleeping ~sweetly~ together” will commence at once.

MC: Sounds good. Let’s start now!

Charlie (Voice): *Sigh* Why aren’t you praising me for how cleverly I split the words? sleeping ~sweetly~ together. We may be sleeping separately from one another, but the sweetness of it will never change.

Charlie (Voice): But I shall not complain since you’ve already invited me to sleep together with you.

Charlie: I suggest that we put this operation into practice, pronto. Good night, my dear fiancée.

Known as the nobility of deserts, macarons have a crispy skin and a glutinous centre. 

It has a smooth and delicate shell, 

brilliant colours and rich layers of texture. This is the exact feeling Charlie brings to the people around him. A widely known appearance, witty conversational skills, 

occasional random musings, 

and all the interesting contrasts of his, 

leaves a lasting impression 

on everyone who comes into contact with him. 

It’s often said that a interesting soul is better than an advantageous appearance, 

but looking and Charlie, 

regardless of whether it’s his soul or his appearance, 

there is a unique perfection to him. 

THE AMAZING STORY OF MACARONS

The interview takes place in the city outskirts. As the scheduled time approached, a loud noise suddenly came from outside the scene. Shortly after, a helicopter circled and landed on a grassland nearby. While surrounded by four or five bodyguards in black who carried huge metal briefcases, a man in an intricate black-gold shirt and wide, black sunglasses made his way over slowly. 

“Greetings, I am Charlie.” In Charlie’s eyes, this is the most ordinary of ordinary ways of him making his appearance known. Although seeing such a big scene amazed the staff, they started to worry if the preceding interview would be hard to carry on with. Surprisingly, Charlie was easier to work with than their expectations. Not only did he know the process of interviewing on the back of his hand, he showed so much confidence while handling the interviews with much ease. At the photo shooting venue, he strictly followed and cooperated with the staffs’ arrangements all throughout the session. And when it came to the dangerous and mysterious looking black briefcases the bodyguards were holding, they actually just contained macaron gift boxes that Charlie brought to distribute to all the staff members on site . While being interviewed, Charlie had an undisguisable confidence and “public” aura around him. When praised, he was not humble at all; when further questioned, he did not hesitate. His flamboyant appearance, humorous conversational skills and occasional random musings left a memorable impact on everyone who was in touch with him in this brief interview. There are a lot of interesting contrasts about Charlie.These differences don’t stand out abruptly, but rather they’re like a macaron that has multiple rich flavours blended together which gives a rich, balanced feel. You can’t use simple adjectives to briefly summarize his character. Perhaps only the words “Charlie” can describe his uniqueness fully. 

Before becoming a reconstructive surgeon for burns, Charlie has tried other different careers before. 

He has interned at the news station as a reporter, and he has been a firefighter before. Through these experiences, Charlie was able to understand the deeper side to this world. To him, all these experimenting in his career weren’t because he was interested, but because he wanted to find his own path via his own experiences; something he can actually achieve by himself.

When you first look at Charlie, it’s possible that it could be hard for you to imagine that he is actually a doctor. In contrast with his flamboyant lifestyle, when it comes to his job, he upholds a professional, rigorous and serious attitude. In last year’s “GuangQi’s Good Doctors” selections, Charlie won the top spot with an overwhelming number of votes. In the patients’ eyes, not only was he praised for his exceptional medical skills and his ability to rejuvenate people with his hands, it has also been brought up many times that he always takes the patients’ economic situation into consideration when prescribing medication and performing procedures, all while never simply collecting additional fees. With his outstanding medical skills and noble medical ethics, Charlie has established a good reputation among his patients. Outside of his job, Charlie also excels in quite a number of skills. He’s good at baking, he can play billiards, he knows how to waltz, he’s fluent in many languages, and he can drive a variety of vehicles- he even has a licence to drive a bus. To Charlie, getting full marks is the norm to him in all his medical exams and appraisal examinations. “With my wisdom that exceeds most common people, doing all these was as easy as lifting a finger.”

“There is no unbending truth,  and even if there is,  that really is just an elaborate lie  created by someone who pretends to be an all-knowing god.”

Charlie’s study has a large collection of books, and in one of the photos he provided of a corner of his study, not only can you find serious reads such as <Fang Si Qi’s First Love Paradise>, you can also see tyrant novels such as <Secret Order to Sweet Marriage: The Powerful and Young Man is Destined to Dote on His Wife>. Charlie has mentioned that the latter is his study material to love and relationships. Besides that, Charlie has a book titled <Handbook of the Perfect Fiance>, in which countless do’s and don’ts of how to be a perfect fiance are recorded. Compared to that, Charlie believes more in hands-on experience as compared to theory. “There is no unbending truth, and even if there is, that really is just an elaborate lie created by someone who pretends to be an all-knowing god.” 

Due to the nature of his work, Charlie usually has very little time to rest. “I only spend my time on meaningful things.” To Charlie, “meaningful things” includes his work, and similarly includes spending quality leisure time with his fiancee, to ensure that there’s always a smile on her face. There are too many interesting things in this world; the bustling scenes always bedazzling people. But to Charlie, he has already found the goals he wants to accomplish both in his work and  his personal life. “People get lost in prosperity because they lack sobriety, and I am soberly falling into my conviction.”

MC: The theme of our collaboration today is called “Hormone Explosion”. It is said that everyone’s hormones have a different smell to them, so what do you think your hormones smell like? Charlie: My fiancee always says that I have a strong, fudgy scent on me, and she thinks that that’s the scent of my hormones- perfect and sexy, yet capable of healing one’s loved ones’. MC: So what do your favourite hormones smell like? Charlie: I think that sweet smells are the most perfect smells, like the sweet scent of cherry jam being spread on one’s body…… and a top-grade aromatherapeutic oil named “SEFIANA”, which when applied on skin, gives out the most captivating scent on earth. MC: If you have to use an excerpt of a poem to describe your hormonal response when you are emotionally aroused? Charlie: “My life is dyed purple by a rich abundance of love- I’m like a blindfolded bird turning around frantically, until I arrive at your windowsill.”

MC: MBTI tests have been trending lately, do you know what your MBTI is? Charlie: Of course I know- EXTROVERT, INTUITION, FEELING, JUDGING, abbreviated as ENFJ, it also has a very nice sounding alternate name- the protagonist. The test says, people with this personality are often passionate and frank idealists, and are very charismatic. Ah, isn’t this describing the dazzling person I am. But as a psychology enthusiast, I think that the test can only reflect a person’s personality in this period of time. After all, for someone like who has such a rich connotation, how can I be easily summed up by a few letters? MC: Looking back at the past year and looking a year ahead into the future, do you have anything to say?

Charlie: Although perfection is just a day in the life for me, but at this moment, I want to tell everyone on this earth via this magazine, that last year, I met my fiancee, and she is more perfect than everything that I own- she’s the best compensation fate could ever gift me. From today onwards, we still have a lot of time, and I look forward to every minute and second I get to spend with her.
