OFF/Mortis Ghost tribute sketchbook drawings. Did these to commemorate replaying the game after a very long time. Last time was probably when it got popular during the Homestuck gigapause. Think of these as a drawthrough (drawing + playthrough) of the game. They are all in A5 with Nº2 graphite pencils and 0.5 and 0.05 archival ink pens, plus digital coloring through limited color palettes in Aseprite. Just as with the Yume Nikki post, I'd love to know: What's your favorite?

“Achilles told me about you,” Zagreus says, his voice strained with effort to lift his head and speak.

Patroclus’s fingers spasm. He almost drops the spear. He aims for the heart and gathers his strength. The flickering of Ares’s favor is in the blood that touches his feet, that would sink into his skin if it was still alive.

“That name means little to me here,” he says.

“Does yours also mean little to you?” Zagreus watches him closely. “Patroclus?”

His mouth moves to perfectly pronounce the syllables. Pat-ro-clus. The air around them seems to completely still. Even the shades in their eternal stands have quieted for once, no longer cheering or jeering, but listening carefully.

Patroclus brings down the spear, and the Styx rises to collect its prince, and he leaves the arena before the body has disappeared, listening to the hush whispering of the shades around him, the syllables echoing in his ears as he moves. Pat-ro-clus. Enunciated exactly the way he remembers.

the "argos is part of the superhero team" thing is soooo funny, because it is so ridiculous and he looks so out of place and I'm sure it's super awkward for everyone involved and very difficult to explain. But it DOES make sense. And I totally believe it. It's just a really funny and awkward situation.

(I mean, what else is Ladybug going to do with him? Initiate battle with him (and by extension, Ryuko) to pry his miraculous from him? And then what? She seems to believe none of the miraculouses should be kept in the same place.... so who would she give it to? Whoever wields it will instantly learn that Adrien and Felix and Kagami are sentimonsters from a glance at their rings. Whoever wields it will automatically become privy to the horrors. Whoever wields it has the ability to murder her boyfriend in a split second if they choose to not value his life. Whoever wields it will have to be given a long ethics class on the treatment and value of sentimonsters and life etc etc etc.... a class that can only be meaningfully taught by like... felix himself?)

What if Adrien and Félix decide to fuck with the Miraculous Team a little by pulling a switcharoo with Adrien pretending to be Argos and Félix pretending to be Chat Noir for a few patrols and seeing how long it takes for someone other than their close friends to notice.

Marinette, Kagami, and probably Alya and Nino notice pretty quickly. Luka just mumbles, “That is NOT Chat Noir’s inner tune” to himself but minds his business because it’s harmless. Pretty much everyone else takes a while to catch on that somethings up but eventually does because Argos keeps sneezing whenever his fan is too close to his face and Chat Noir is very noticeably not flirting with Ladybug but IS making moon eyes at Ryuko but since no one else knows that Adrien is Chat Noir, they probably just chalk it up to weird magic stuff happening. Body swapping isn’t that weird with everything else they do.

It also doesn’t help that they both keep muttering “I would not fucking say that…” under their breaths.
