whilst the dulcifying lagoons of venice prompted ink to flow effortlessly across his brimming journal, they did little to patch the cavity of loneliness that slowly eroded his gut. partaking in what he does best, matteo relayed the spectacular sights of venetian canals and mosaics to his friend back home - only, it wasn’t his friend who answered his letter. a slip of his wrist partnered with a fumbling post-boy provided for a strange, yet comforting relationship over the remainder of his travels: matteo now had someone to converse with about both his woes and his feats, whilst the stranger was given the opportunity to see the world through a poet’s eyes. the two strangers formed a peculiar companionship that he hoped would no longer be shrouded in mystery, and that they would finally meet in person in france.

Sonata Two↳ The Friendship

matteo finds it rather tedious to maintain friendships, especially given his penchant for international escapades. the gentlemen back home are far too immersed in the lives of lords and first-borns to converse with the likes of a rhymester, no matter his favorability with the nobility. though there is one individual with whom he’s shared many a story with since their time at sea, and there’s an understanding between the two that whenever matteo finds himself back home, he would send word of his arrival. they aren’t confidantes, but they are indeed comrades - a relationship matteo plans to deepen now that his stay in france appears prolonged.

when matteo was a mere twenty he fell in love for the first - and last - time. it was without question that he engaged in rakish behavior long before meeting his beloved, after all, he was a man armored with flowering words capable of pricking even the most guarded of hearts. yet as dances shifted into promenades, he began asking his servants to arrange for the arrival of his soon-to-be partner. the heirloom ring that once weighed heavily in his pocket offered his heart the same fate as it then sat collecting dust in his desk drawer. how could matteo expect to give them the life they deserved when the bustling bazaars of turkey beckoned him? 

Sonata Four↳ The Deal

matteo needed money; his allowance had already dwindled thanks to the eldest schellenberg, but it was time he took matter into his own hands. when he wasn’t swindling precious jewels, he found himself gambling with the gentleman in versailles. whether on the newest horse to arrive from england or the undefeated boxer for two years running - matteo betted. yet there was a factor that set him apart from the rest; he just wasn’t any good. upon running into you on his swift (albeit, crazed) attempt to escape the expecting fists of those whose wallets suffered from matteo’s lack of fortune, you agreed to front him the money. but it came at a cost. you wished to use his words to [enter character motivation; ex: seduce, persuade, convince, etc someone].

Hello! I’ve noticed over the last 3 days (2/22/20-2/25-20) that are a TON of skaters (particularly ice dancers) who are all celebrating their birthdays (e.g., Evan Bates, Andrew Poje, Quinn Carpenter, Eteri Tutberidze, Lorraine McNamara, Shane Firus etc.) Is this just an interesting astrological coincidence so many skaters are Pisces or is there something more to it? I’ve never seen such a large concentration of Pisces birthdays before.

ooh i love this question-  so some skaters with their Sun in early Pisces like you said: Evan Bates, Quinn Carpenter, Andrew Poje, Madison Hubbell, Eteri Tutberidze, Shane Firus. In addition, depending on the time of day they were born, Lorraine McNamara, Nikolaj Sørensen, and Anna Cappellini are all either 29° Aquarius or 0° Pisces. 

The first part or decan of Pisces (0-9°) is ruled by Neptune, which is connected to creativity, inspiration and artistic talents, so maybe someone with these gifts as well as athletic ability might be drawn towards skating?

But this birthday cluster isn’t unique among skaters: there’s one in Cancer- Madison Chock, Johnny Weir, Michelle Kwan, Angela Krylova, Aissa Bouraglia, Chris Reed all July 2-7. If you expand to the entire 2nd decan of Cancer (10-19°), you can also include Tanith Belbin White, Nikita Katsalapov, and Evelyn Walsh. This decan is Pluto ruled, which adds an element of resilience and courage. There are other clusters in Scorpio and Sagittarius.

Tessa, Ashley Wagner and Alina Zagitova have birthdays on May 16, 17 and 18, all last decan of Taurus (20-29°) ruled by Saturn, which gives an extra dose of determination, discipline, and work ethic.

Teatrul Dramatic „Fani Tardini” invită publicul la spectacolele programate la sfârșitul acestei săptămâni. Sâmbătă, 10 septembrie 2022, la ora 19:00, Teatrul Dramatic „Fani Tardini” prezintă spectacolul PASAGERII de Sam Bobrick, direcția de scenă: conf.univ.dr. Florin Toma, scenografia: Daniel Divrician. Spectacolul este o co-producție Universitatea „Dunărea de Jos” Galați și a avut premiera în februarie 2021. În distribuție, absolvenții Facultății de Arte, Promoția 2021: Ionuț Strat (Walter, Mace), Denisa Onisie (Jane, Doamna cu plase), Mihai Păun (Howard, Fred, D-nul Wade), Alina Radu (Lorraine, Audrey), Laurențiu Bobeică (Frank, Al, Bobby), Lavinia Eiler (Clara, Marsha), Doru Ciutacu (Șoferul de autobuz, Ernest), Mihaela Godorozea (D-na Evans, Laura) și Bianca Totolici (June). PASAGERII este un spectacol substanțial, în două acte și opt scene, de-a lungul cărora cei nouă actori interpretează nu mai puțin de 19 personaje. Eroii noștri, anonimi veritabili, se întâlnesc într-o stație de autobuz oarecare din Statele Unite ale Americii. Întâlnirile lor împletesc o temă subtilă, dar profundă, care devine limpede abia în scena finală. Spectacolul durează 120 de minute. Get ready for three competitions this week as top skaters go head to head at Japan Open, the Challenger Series continues in Finland and the Junior Grand Prix travels to Poland for the sixth event in the series! More information will be added to this post as it becomes available.

JAPAN OPEN & CARNIVAL ON ICE

Japan Open is an invitational team competition where skaters are grouped into Team Japan, Team Europe, and Team North America. Each team is composed of two ladies and two men. Retired skaters can also be invited. Skaters perform only their free skates, and the team with the highest total score wins. The Japan Open gala is called Carnival on Ice and features skaters who did not participate in the competition, in addition to the ones who did.
