Sorry if this is kind of a bother but frankly I'm genuinely quite curious what your thoughts are on Yesod, or like, personal hcs and such! ( Mostly curious since some of your other posts with Verg were very silly! And frankly it's just nice to hear ppl rant abt their fav characters n such )

oh!!! dw i like asks, esp about characters i like :] i made a LONGGG list of hcs for him when he was my #1 blorbo that i added to over the years, i’ll put that and some general thoughts under the cut

headcanons:

-transmasc he/they. super gay also

-can say fuck. chooses not to.

-he’d probably tug at his clothes when he’s nervous (gloves, turtleneck, tie)

-malkuth is his friend! (and taller than him i decide the heights now)

-ROLAND IS HIS FRIEND

-he seems to like moons (moon the the bottom of the department in lob corp, in his ruina symbol, you can see a moon from his platform)

-(based on the moon thing) likes astronomy :)

EDIT: i have learned that in actual kabbalah yesod is known to be the sephirah of lunar consciousness so i think that connection to his character is really cool

-takes good care of his hair it would be silky and sofd <3

-if he ever had long hair he’d put it in a ponytail (turned out to be true: see beta designs in the artbook)

-lob corp yesod would have to wear long gloves if he was ever forced to wear short sleeved shirts

-gets cold easier than others (i know he was a Cube so he wasn’t actually wearing them but a turtleneck under a suit?? if he doesn’t get cold easily he’d be melting :( if it were sleeveless it’d be a bit better but still)

-the sephirot robot forms only have one eye. yesods was on the left. his bangs in ruina are on the right. most of his hair minus the bangs look pretty much the same length so this implies he grew his bangs out on purpose. what if he couldn’t get used to having two again. also he has no depth perception

-got that high intelligence low wisdom. can recite 60 digits of pi but doesn’t know what a handshake is

-what if he has fangs. like a v. like a vip. like a vi

-he likes shiny things...like an crow....give him a coin......

-wakes up at the asscrack of dawn

-you seen his floor? that man likes vaporwave. and also lights in general, i think

-likes tea (also turned out to be true? he’s drinkin some in that one credits cg)

-probably has a small plant in his office, likes gardening a little

-clicks his pen when he’s focused, doesn’t notice until someone tells him to stop

-doesn’t really like soda but thinks sprite is okay

-doesn’t like when people make a big deal out of his birthday but he appreciates gifts and the like nonetheless

-gets bad caffeine jitters

-he’s a flirty drunk and gets extremely embarrassed about that when he sobers up

-uncomfortable in large groups, he gets overwhelmed if he’s around a lot of people for too long

-hovers around the people he’s closest to if he’s forced to be around a lot of people

-focuses the best if he’s by himself

-malkuth and yesod are siblings because i like them. this also makes elijah and gabriel’s deaths more sad

-yesod can do hair, he learned how to braid because elijah liked having their hair braided when they were younger

-i rotate them being twins and yesod being a natural brunette in my head sometimes

-if he were a snake he’d be a mangrove pit viper or lavender albino king snake i think

-he likes looking out the big tech sciences window to relax

-has a lot of scars across his body from scratching, i personally think he should’ve had his hand scars in ruina

-good with computers but complete shit at video games. he’d know the Lore to games he likes but absolutely cannot play them.

-likes the sound of computer fans and keyboards

-he’s totally autistic

-he seems like he’d get really flustered if you showed him any sort of affection, ESPECIALLY in public. hug him and he short circuits and dies

-if you ever managed to befriend him he seems kinda calming to be around when he’s not pissy. kinda guy you’d sit out in the balcony with in the middle of the night when you can’t sleep in a comfortable silence. might show you constellations if you wanted

-covers his face when he blushes

-would get super red when he’s embarrassed, tries to avoid people and hides away in his office

-touch starved but can’t ask for affection to save his life

-i think he’d show affection with little things yk. puts a blanket on you when you pass out on your desk. he’d probably try to cover it up with professionalism though. like “i noticed you haven’t eaten, think about how that’ll affect your work performance” instead of “eat something i’m worried about you”

-might also just sit near or lean on you

-if he likes you enough he’d be softer and more forgiving

-i personally tend to assign my character fixations flowers for some reason,,,he gets hyssops :) hydrangeas and lavender also make me think about he

jumbled thoughts:

part of the reason i like him so much is because i tend to have a thing for cold/stoic characters who are soft on the inside. yesod is only cold and sharp-tongued because he needs to be in order to succeed in lob corps environment. he doesn’t want to get attached to people. he cares so much that he couldn’t allow himself to feel anything at all, esp in an environment where he’s trying so fucking hard to reduce deaths by setting rules and keeping order but people die every day regardless. not only that, but his job was to destroy information that could potentially save those same people. he gets MAD if you let his employees die because he cares about them.

i also used to try and spread my rolsod agenda all the time, i think their relationship is fun

oh yeah and he’s totally OCD-coded. one thing i’ve always liked about projmoon media is how great their representation of mental illness is. both because it feels very accurate and real and a lot of horror media will just drop in a mentally ill person and go “ooo scary mentally ill person being scary bc they’re mentally ill oooo” but the horror aspect in lob corp is focused more on the horrible things that caused him to act that way. he became obsessed with rules and safety because elijah broke the rules and tested the cogito on herself, leading to her slow and painful death.

just a couple things i find cute about him:

-i know the viper nickname is supposed to be threatening but i think snakes are cute and so is he

-robot form <3

-that hair tuft

-HIS SMILE!!!!!

-his voice is hot okay byey

i don’t talk about yesod as much anymore because i can only have so many men at the forefront of my mind but make no mistake i still adore him

I feel like I’ve teased everyone with who Bryce’s new girlfriend is in my AU so I thought I’d introduce her properly

Meet Doctor Adelaide Fielding

She works in Surgery just like Bryce. She transferred from California earlier on in the year. Bryce was constantly staring from a distance until Raf told him to make a move, so he did and they made it official at Halloween.

They meet at Ethan and Victoria’s wedding, Victoria having known Anthony from working round the hospital, he works in the PEDS department. They announce they are a couple at Christmas.

Meet Lawyer Greg Sanderson

Face claim: Keith Powers

Aurora ends up treating him in the ER for his diabetes which is how they meet. He later comes back asking for her name and they go out for a drink. This happens 6 months after E and V’s wedding (so this month) and they become an item at the end of January.

I’ve decided that Elijah and Phoebe reconnect (because her suddenly disappearing makes no sense) and Jackie and Kyra don’t end up with anyone but they become the chaotic aunties to the gangs children lol. And I already have the HC of Raf ending up with one of Victoria’s friends Jennifer.

Elijah Kamski was a technologic child prodigy. He could weave lines of code and run programs with such ease that his peers didn't think possible. At 16, he graduated University with a masters degree in programming and ai study, as well as robotics. His future was clear, and his parents pushed him along to follow that path to fame and fortune. But, Elijah had other plans. In addition to programming, he had a deep desire to sing. Perform. It was in his blood as much as the numbers. He taught himself to play guitar, spending a bit of money to buy one, much to his parents chagrin. They didn't want him wasting his time when he'd worked to fast track his career since he could walk. Elijah just wanted to perform.

By the time he turned 18, he had traveled around the country to different cities that were well known for aspiring musicians to start up in. New York, LA, Seattle, Nashville, Austin. By the time he returned home to Detroit, he had amassed as much knowledge about music as a career and art. Playing for small crowds on street corners and in parks, attracting crowds by playing familiar songs, he found quickly how much he truly loved to perform, and how he loved to see other people happy.

His parents weren't too happy to hear about the way he had been spending his time, but they didn't say much on it as Elijah seemed determined to move forward with his plans.

He created a program that could perfectly autotune anyones voice without making it sound robotic or weird. Using his own personal AI to correct, it became an overnight sensation. Within a couple years, he created a company that made a over a hundred different voice programs, made and sold hardware for the program to use in a studio or even on the street, and created a chance for anyone to create any sort of story they wanted. Musically, through story telling and podcasts, the possibilities were endless.

L1m3 was what the program was referred to, pronounced just as Lime. Once it started to really gain traction, he built a centralized location for the AI to be housed and store whatever data it learned to help whoever used it. The data farm and factories for the tech were built on Belle Isle in Detroit, just a short drive from where he lived. Elijah hired people to maintain the servers and work maintenance on whatever they built in the little factory. His tech was used all over the country, even garnering some attention overseas.

With that success, Elijah took advantage of any free time he had to perform. Nights with his guitar on stages and in clubs, he was a local hit. He gained quick popularity thanos to his voice and natural talent. Throughout his early 20s, his career shot straight up.

But, as quickly as it went up, it went down. It wasn't long before the critics started to connect the dots between the man who created a perfect autotune and the face that his voice sounded so amazing. People caught on and started to turn on him. Even when Elijah denied the claims, it only made matters worse. Suddenly, it was either he used his own tech to feel superior himself or used it to make himself look better by comparison.

By 25, he stood backstage of his final performance. The audience turned violent when they announced his name. Furious. Elijah never stepped out to meet them, he just turned for the back door and left as quickly as he could. He never sang again in public and within the next year his company stopped production of new tech and programs. They became maintenance only, maintaining the systems for anyone who still used it. Unsurprisingly, the numbers dropped drastically.

He tucked himself away in his home where he started to descend into a deep depression he couldn't get out of. That was when he met Chloe. He'd met her a couple times before, quick friends who could get along well. Elijah was too drunk to even realize who he had been texting, but when he woke up the next day with a massive hangover and Chloe was there with such a concerned look, he knew it was bad. He didn't ask, didn't want to know. He just offered to hire her there to watch over him. Chloe agreed, jokingly giving him a ridiculous figure to pay, surprised when he agreed.

Over the next 5 years, she got Elijah to take better care of himself, to start going to therapy, and keeps him on track taking his medication. He still has days where his mental state dips, but it's nowhere near as bad as that first day. She lives with him in that house in the city.

Present day, at 31, Elijah still plays guitar or piano for himself. He will sing, quiet, when he's home. But, he won't let anyone else hear. L1m3 started to ramp up again in use as time went on as more people became aware of it again, prompting Elijah to work on it more and hire more people to manage the servers.

Some afternoons, he can be found in a park somewhere around the city, under a tree, strumming his guitar. He sets out a sigh for himself that just reads "No money, just requests." Some nights he's in bars, whoever will let him play. He doesn't drink anymore, except wine on occasion. Always afraid he could push himself too far again.

For the first 5 months of Elijah working at the Foundation, he and Kade were not on good terms. (Though not for lack of trying on Elijah’s part.) Kade is very distrusting and slow to warm up to people. For those months, Kade was cool and polite while making it clear he didn’t know or trust Elijah.

At about 5 months in, Kade and Elijah had a run in with Virva that landed them in the hospital. Both of them have huge trauma regarding hospitals, and both of them hate being in there for any amount of time. That shared hatred opened Kade up to Elijah, and they began bonding after that. It takes time, but Kade eventually comes to see Elijah as a younger brother (despite Kade’s grumbling and refusing to admit it); Elijah looks up to Kade as a cool older brother/friend.

On a side note, Kade and Elijah had to stay in the hospital overnight for observation, and Fiona, Andrea, and Castillo had to tag team the pair to keep them from losing their shit and straight up walking out.

Flush begins to creep on both Ethan and MC’s features.

“Bryce, stop, you’re making them uncomfortable!” Sienna chimes in, taking pity on the couple.

“Oh bull.” Jackie is quick to dismiss. “How uncomfortable do they make us when they’re fucking like rabbits and knocking fuck-knows around the apartment?”

Bryce turns his full attention to Jackie, begging for one of those stories.

While they talk about catching the couple in hushed tones, MC turns towards Ethan.

“You okay?” she said softly so only he could hear.

He nods his head once, slowly. “Yeah. It’s just...”

“I know,” She pressed a loving kiss to his jawline. After a beat she muttered, “But we all make mistakes. Even ones that pay off an entire year of tuition...”

Ethan’s eyes widened. So many thoughts running through his head.

But then she moved much closer, arching into him to whisper in his ear, “If you’re good” - her teeth graze his lobe - “maybe I’ll even show you a thing or two.”

Any hesitation he had was completely washed away by the utter need to get her alone now.

TASK ONE: make a new year’s wish.

I. mun based questions.

question one. i’m always open for pain and evil ideas! i Live for drama and wouldn’t be opposed at all. but i also think it’d be pretty neat to sometimes post a general request? especially if there’s a plot where a bunch of characters would fit and you guys could decide who fits Better! and that way everyone gets a chance to be part of Something.

question two. i’d probably suffer a lot but i don’t mind the getting hurt. sometimes actions have consequences and they need to Learn. i’d be cool with that in any way tbh, most of my characters are vampires so... eh, they can just re-attach their arms for all i know. same with elijah but as a fellow human, it sucks to suck i guess.

question three. i would probably need to mentally prepare myself first, i’d get back to you on this one someday.

II. muse based questions.

ASRA - volturi guard vampire. ( pansexual, homoromantic )

i. i have a hc that during his human years there was one person he’d been in love with. the only being in his entire life he’d felt something for. asra never really confessed bc... times were different and their relationship would have been forbidden; but i imagine they were close friends. ofc, after he became a vampire and found out someone killed his family he went on a killing spree & pretty much everyone in his village paid the price. but he doesn’t know for sure if this person was a victim too. imagine if by some chance ( him not actually killing them and accidentally turning them; or them not being around at the time and being turned later by someone else ) they find their way into seattle... and them and asra meet. asra’s dramatic ass being reminded that he does actually have feelings!

additional info: would have to be a male aligned korean fc around the same fake age as asra so... early 20s.

ii. i think finding his singer would be something fun to explore? not in a... romantic sense because i highly doubt he’d even consider that. but more in a how dare you exist and make me feel like a monster for wanting to murder you, kinda way. bc.. he’s not exactly someone that kills for fun, mostly because he has to if he wants to survive ( and he does ); so someone that brings out that... feral? part of him and reminds him that he is, in fact, a killing machine would be fun!

iii. asra is someone that finds humans... very interesting; in the same sense of a zoologist finding animal behaviour interesting. he observes them from afar, never gets too close. what if someone comes so utterly... fascinating ( maybe bc they’re just a trainwreck of a person, or just... so different in the way they act ) that actually makes asra want to see them up close, interact with them or even... gasps care for them? unheard of!

iv. this one is for my vamps out there. it’d be neat for him to find someone that calls him out on his “i have no feelings” bullshit, and gets close to him enough for asra to actually want to open up to them... long story short a friend someone he truthfully cares about. i see this as mostly platonic but it could be romantic if there’s chemistry.

additional info: they’d have to be male for any sort of romantic relationship to happen

v. maybe someone from their old covens ? i imagine he’d been in two before joining the volturi guard. nothing more than that, just someone, or multiply people ( squad ? ) that knows him from a long time ago and he banters with, or fights with, or maybe has a nice relationship with!

vi. vampire he’s hooked up with ? most likely during his newborn days tbh, or before he joined the volturi. bc now it’s Serious Business Only.

ALICE - olympic coven vampire. ( pansexual, panromatic )

i. i WOULD LOVE CYNTHIA BRANDON. OR ANY LONG LOST RELATIVE !!! that’d be such a chef’s kiss connection to explore considering she doesn’t remember anything about her human life. if it’s cynthia just imagine her pain of her recognizing her sister but alice having no memories, absolutely nothing in her mind other than a weird feeling of ‘have i seen you before?’ or if it’s a long lost relative... them recognizing alice from really old family pictures and being like ‘isn’t this one of my relatives that disappeared from the asylum? wtf???’

additional info: cynthia brandon/any other relative would have to be at least half korean.

ii. i have a hc that after being turned, as a lost newborn she was found by an extremely nice and welcoming coven that took the time to teach her how to live her new life. i think it’d be cool to either meet her sire or an old coven member again!

iii. when she was just turned alice had no idea what the visions in her mind meant. she had forgotten everything about her life, and had no choice but to start all over again. at first she did everything she could to ignore the images on her head; and focused on simply making the most of this 2nd chance she was given. there was this one other vampire ( could be from that old coven, or just someone else she met ) that seemed to understand her so well. and for alice, someone that had never experienced love before, they were... everything she needed at the time. they helped to shape her into the bright and loving little angel that she is, they were so good to her. but soon enough came this vision, of her surrounded by so much happiness, a loving family and a mate that wasn’t them. a vision she couldn’t ignore. they were good, they understood, in fact they were the ones that encouraged her to seek for them, because it’s what she deserved. and so... she left in order to find her destiny. what if alice and this vampire met again? ( obviously alice loves jasper more than anything and she’s 100% sure he’s her soulmate but... mayb the pain :^) or just that Good Good loving and purely platonic relationship !!! )

iv. humans/other vampires/cotm she’s blessed with her fashion knowledge as a fashion consultant ?? idk ! friends !!

GARRETT - nomad vampire. ( pansexual, demiromantic )

i. this dude’s been alive since mid 1700s. always involved in american wars! i feel like in one of them, when there was someome that truly needed it. he turned a fellow soldier to make sure they come back from war. he thought them the basics, helped them through the bloodlust. what happened after they come back from the war is utp. but garrett is their sire. maybe they resent him, maybe they’re grateful. all there is to know is that they’re alive thanks to him.

ii. he’s quite the adventurer so... maybe vampires he’s met through the years on his expeditions? could be friends, could dislike eachother.

iii. i imagine at some point during his long life there had to be someone he was extremely close to. someone that could have been his mate, but for any reason they didn’t quite get there. maybe because at the time one of them ( most likely garrett tbh ) wasn’t willing to settle down, or maybe their feelings weren’t deep enough for that. but they worked well together in any other way. they could have drifted apart, moved along on good terms, or on bad terms. but seattle becomes the city they once again collide in.

iv. the idea of a coven... wasn’t the most appealing for a free spirit like garrett. but it wasn’t something he had completely ruled out. maybe there was a time he was a part of one, or got really close to. they come to seattle and find him here, still a nomad, as free as ever. could be fun to explore!

v. this seems like a crackhead plot but hear me out... a human completely oblivious about the existence of supernatural beings. obsessed with american history. finding a similar looking guy in every single picture from all the american wars there have been since cameras were invented. and oh my god? does that tall dude in the library looks exactly like the dude in the pictures too? what the hell is going on? am i on x files?

ELIJAH - human. ( pansexual, demiromantic )

i. any possible platonic relationship you could imagine! childhood friends, high school friends, college friends, training/cop/detective friends ?? legit ANYTHING. i’m always sipping that ‘i love platonic connections’ juice

ii. this one connection is important. but basically... elijah gained his status by making the Right Connections. but there was someone above everyone else that helped along the way. they were together pretty much since they both started college, and they had everything elijah wished to have growing up. their relationship was mostly physical, their feelings for eachother weren’t that deep and they were both aware of that. elijah would get the exposure/connections he wanted; and they’d get the excellent academic status that came with elijah. but the fact that they were pretty much the reason why elijah got the chance to make those connections made them think they held some sort of power above him. and since elijah still wasn’t in a place where he could just let everything crumble down, he’d comply and do as they said. this relationship was toxic, there was no love between them at all. and it was bound to end at some point. there were some nice moments, not including the amazing sex, that would make elijah consider the possibility of a future together; but the bad moments would always make him go right back to his senses. if anything elijah is thankful for them, but he’s also extremely grateful that things ended without any of them hurting the other more than they already had.

iii. past hookups ? exes ? there could be lingering feelings from their part.. or not. they could be bitter, or ended up in good terms! ( he’s married, in love AND faithful so it wouldn’t really be anything more tbh )
