           THINGS IN the Deluca-Bishop household had been a little bit.. of many things in between and everything lately. But, she was staying there, by choice. She enjoyed the time she spends with her best friend and her wife, someone of whom had become one of her good friends as well but she heard many conversations, tried to stay out of it but it seemed as if the brunette needed to talk about a few things. Making her way through the apartment, Andy caught sight of the surgeon in question curled up on the couch. Placing the chinese down on the coffee table, Andy turned towards Carina “Tell me, do you feel like beer or wine to have with our chinese? The blonde in our lives is on night shift so it’s just you and me and I’m treating you to dinner. So, I repeat again. Would you like beer or wine WITH DINNER?”.

Season 3 Troubles for Andy Herrera

Since the start of the season, our beloved protagonist, Andy Herrera hasn’t had it easy and here is a recap of all the horrible things that’s happened to her since the season began and by the looks of things, everything for Andy is gonna get a hell of a lot worse before they get any better.

1. A Broken Heart

Andy has realized that she has fallen in love with Sullivan, but after what happened during the second season finale, she was left greatly humiliated and heartbroken and things have been tense between them ever since. Sullivan never gave Andy a proper explanation about what happened, revealing he still hasn’t told her about the pain in his leg. However, it turns out it wasn’t just because of the leg. Sullivan explains they can’t be together due to department policy that co-workers can’t date, especially since he is Battalion Chief and was planning on making her Captain of Station 19. Due to this, Andy is left feeling greatly heartbroken and as a result the only way she can deal with this pain is by hating Sullivan.

2. Falling Out with her Dad

Andy has a falling out with Pruitt after he managed to put two and two together and realized Andy and Sullivan’s romantic feelings. Pruitt is greatly angered, believing they slept together and sees this as Andy tarnishing his legacy. Andy is further hurt, seeing her father only seems to care about himself and doesn’t take the time to listen and learn the whole story. Because of this, Andy and Pruitt’s relationship has become severely strained and what’s even worse, Andy has no idea her father’s cancer is back and this time, he has accepted his impending death and is getting his affairs in order before she finds out.

3. Losing Ryan

The death of Andy’s childhood best friend, Ryan Tanner. Prior to the beginning of the series, Andy and Ryan have been best friends since childhood and have an on-again/off-again relationship. Ryan has always been a big part of Andy’s life and was always the one person who could truly help Andy feel again when she suffered a traumatic loss such as when her mother died when she was a child. However, now that Ryan’s gone, Andy can’t feel anything and has basically gone numb and she’s going to continue to feel such pain for a long time before anything gets any better.

4. Maya Stealing Her Dream Job

Finally, Maya stabbed her in the back by stealing the job she has worked so hard to earn. Aside from Ryan, Maya has been Andy’s best friend since their days in the Firefighter Training Academy. Although they’ve had a few fights since the series began, they’ve always managed to pull through, but now they’ve entered their biggest fight yet which could potentially end their friendship for good. Ever since Andy confided in Maya about her and Sullivan’s relationship as well as a potential Captain position, Maya took advantaged of Andy’s suffering and used it as an opportunity to achieve her own goals. Maya actions showcase her selfishness and simply being downright awful to her best friend who is suffering so much right now. Maya knows how much Andy is going through right now and yet she accepted the position as Captain, despite everyone knowing the job was always meant to be Andy’s and how much it means to her. However, Maya doesn’t care, she only cares about herself and what she wants and since finally getting the job, she continues to be an awful friend to Andy.

Overall, the third season of Station 19 has been so cruel to Andy so far and we are only into 4 episodes. I really hope things start getting better for Andy soon cause it’s so sad to watch her go through this much pain and sadness. Poor Andy is losing everything she cares about, her true love, father, best friend, career etc. How can someone handle this much sadness and heartbreak in their lives. The team needs to be there for Andy, especially since there isn’t a doubt, things are gonna get worse before they get any better.

       SINCE becoming a firefighter, her sleep was still present but she however was able to wake up at the slightest of sounds. not necessarily a rustling of leaves on the outside but definitely the sound of footsteps in the hallway of her apartment. by the front door it seemed like it. throwing blankets off of herself, the brunette placed her feet on the ground before reaching underneath her bed to pull out her bat. who was in her APARTMENT?

         MAKING HER way towards the sound, andy was starting to rack her mind to think as to who it could be. maya was with carina.. vic was with... usually travis.  the brunette went to swing her bat at the figure but stopped at who it was. “Ari? what are you doing here? did I know that you were coming and it seemingly moved out of MY HEAD?”.

        HOW SHE managed to convince her best friend that she needed the day off because she was sick and that she didn’t need the blonde to come over was beyond her. But, she did infact convince her. She did however feel slightly guilty as Maya seemed so worried about the brunette being sick but really, Andy was only taking the day off to go spend it with her best friend’s fiancee. The moment Carina found out Maya had never had a party, Andy was more than happy to help her to plan the said party. A surprise party AT THAT.

        SHE’D WAITED for the message from Jack to let her know the blonde had arrived at work before using her own key to let herself into the apartment like Carina had asked. “Carina? Are you ready? We have to get going before your lover gets worried and goes to my apartment with the store BOUGHT SOUP.”

      WHEN RYAN had died, he was only the second friend she was burying. Ripley wasn’t really a friend in the sense but he was her best friend’s fiancee, it made him family. But then when her father passed away, she promised and vowed to herself she’d take care of everyone around her to ensure she didn’t have to go to anymore funerals. She hated them ever since she thought her mother had died but since her father’s.. she hated them even more. And after today...After today she had one more funeral to attend. This one was A FRIEND.

            DEAN MILLER was her friend. If anything, they were a family. And he had died. When she and the rest of station 19 were at the hospital, surrounded by love from one another, it hadn’t felt real. She didn’t allow herself to cry because she needed to be stronger for everyone else. But at home.. At home she allowed herself to cry. Her tears soaking her shirt. But now..now she felt numb. She was all cried out. She had no more thoughts left to think. She was JUST BROKEN.

               LADIES NIGHT. A much needed thing that the brunette had been waiting for, for what felt like months, to be with her best friends. The unholy fire trinity is what they were referred to as and it was something that they hadn’t been for awhile. They were meeting at The Bishop/Deluca/Herrera apartment, given that two of the three lived there. The blonde was out getting snacks, or drinks she wasn’t sure, but Vic should be there SOON ENOUGH.

            AS SHE sat on the lounge, flicking through netflix for something to have on in the background whilst that talked, drank and ate, she hadn’t decided on something. There were so many choices. It wasn’t until ladies night came on did the brunette decide that was it. Hearing the front door open and closed, she looked up expecting the blonde but say Vic instead. “It’s about time you got here. I was going STIR CRAZY.”

                  FROM WHERE she's lounging on the deck, the brunette turns her attention to the other opposite her. Although she and Maya had known one another longer, she still thought of Vic as one of her best friend's. Both home and at the station. There's no one else she'd rather have by her side and fighting fires, than her two best friends. When her father died, they were there. Even when she didn't want to deal with anyone, they were there. Clearing her throat slightly, Andy lifted her glasses off of her face and gave Vic her full attention "Of course I know you do. I love you too Vic. Never FORGET THAT."
