hello i saw we were dahliaposting in your inbox and i blacked out n all my dahlia pictures fell out of my pocket and im now pathetically crouching trying to pick them up. dahlia hawthorne deserved to get away with all of that first of all. there's no killer in the entire aa franchise who is more genuinely fucked up while still making me go "i think she should get to be happy" while NOT getting any sort of happiness or resolution. she's so victim of circumstance who REFUSES to be a victim of circumstance and just breaks everything around her to try and get somewhere. yes she killed people but like most of that was her just fucking scrambling bc shit went sideways. she is everything to me. thinking about dahlia hawthorne getting to learn and grow and still not regret anything is something that can keep me going so absolutely.

i think dahlia is just not someone who we got to see in her entirety because she refused to be defined by her background while still only really acting as a reaction to her own history, w only the tools that that afforded her (iris, valerie, her father, and then from morgan's influence she's able to move people like doug and phoenix). she's someone who's all pretend and im obsessed w her!!!!!!!!! she's so young!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what if she had gotten to live her life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OH MY GOD HELLO???? BRILLIANT. absolutely amazing way to word her character. that's the fucking thing about her: she cuts out and she abandons and she refuses and she leaves until there is nothing left but herself on her own!! and of course she fucking does that because that's the only thing she knows to do!!! I WISH we saw her as a victim of circumstance I WISH the outcome was different and i wish she ended up being seen as a HUMAN not some evil ineffable and unchanging spirit. god. dollie rights
