Tumblr media
Hongjoong - Slow Loris
Now, these hybrids are some of the most cutest and more desirable. And Hongjoong would be the type to want someone cute, and kind but fucking dangerous. When he first met you, he was in awe with your sweet like beauty. Now innocent you looked. Down to your soft smile and floral outfit. It was only until he watched you get hit on by another low-level mob boss. It was then that he saw the real you. The way you sat on the disgusting man's lap, you had not spoken a word, nor opened your mouth to smile. But within a split second, you bit down on the man's neck. He’d groan thinking you were just playing rough. But when you pulled away that’s when his men knew something was very, very wrong. Your venom had gotten into his system faster than anyone could save him. He’d be dead in minutes and Hongjoong would be in love in seconds.
Tumblr media
Seonghwa - English Lop
Seonghwa wanted to make sure the hybrid he got was perfect. But somehow, we are talking to Hongjoong for a couple of hours. He found himself in a local shelter for abandoned hybrids. And that’s where he found you. A very long-eared bunny. Your ears would fall past your shoulders, and you’d use them to cover your face. You were skittish, and Hwa found out that your type of breed was a product of human engineering. So you were bred to look like that, and you were a failed test. Seonghwa fell in love the moment he saw your big wide eyes. You were scared of the world and scared of humans. But Seonghwa was going to slowly teach you the joys you’d missed out on, and he was definitely going to find the men who hurt you and kill them for throwing you away. Cause you weren’t trash. You were just perfect.
Tumblr media
Yeosang - Pallas cat
Yeosang wasn’t looking for a hybrid at the time he met you. But when he was having a meeting with some businessmen for a shipment log, you’d stroll in with a grumpy expression and fluffy tail all frizzed up and swaying annoyingly. Your thick Russian accent would catch him by surprise, and he would never admit it, but he loved the way words slipped off your tongue, and if he could, he would listen to you speak for hours. He knew your type of hybrid breed was naturally aggressive and dangerous. So when one of the men tried to boss you around, you easily just pistol-whipped him cause you could. He would make sure to get your number at the end of that day, and later, you found he was the only human you’d tolerate being around.
Tumblr media
Yunho - Rottweiler
We all know for a fact that if this man was a hybrid he’d be a golden retriever. End of story. He holds the sun in his eyes and a constant pip in his step and even though he is supposed to be this big scary mob boss. Behind closed doors with his friends and family, he is just this lovable giant. And when he met you, it wasn’t he that went after you. But the other way around. He was at this bar, and some girls that he had no interest in were disturbing his alone wolf fun. He came to his friend's bar to get away from the clingy, whoring women that slither their way into the underworld scene. They were all the same and it bored him. And no matter how many times he told them to fuck off. They would not listen. And that is where you came in. Normally you wouldn’t get caught dead in a night club but your friend, a local street cat, needed some…fun as she put it. And you were her guard dog. She ditched you after 5 minutes, leaving with some guy that she said ‘He's so fuckable’. that’s when you saw Yunho being cornered by the snakes. You jumped into action, standing in between the girls and him, and successfully scared them away with your rage-filled swaying tail, straight pulled back ears, and snarling teeth.. They ran off quicker than a mouse. Yunho said thank you about a million times that night, immediately in love with your beauty. Your beautiful dark skin. The way your hair was slight patches of browns, blonds, and blacks with loose curls falling in front of your face. He was instantly taken by you, and like a golden retriever, developed puppy love.
Tumblr media
San - Raccoon
Now, San did not want a hybrid. He never actually wanted one. The idea of having a creature to look after and don’t get started on people falling in love with them. He didn’t understand the fascination for them. Until he met you. Your mismatched nubbed ears, big almost pitch-black eyes, and faint patterns on your beautiful patching of dark and skin skin.. Your little bookshop became a place he would sneak off to when he got too stressed or just simply needed to see your cute little face. It would take him months to work up the courage to speak to you. And oh, the way your face would light you and your little ears would twitch whenever he was around…. Oh, yeah. He understood now.
Tumblr media
Mingi - Spotted Deer
Mingi’s jaw would be on the floor when he first saw you. Your beautiful amber coloured skin with white creamy dots to complement. You were a walking goddess in Mingi’s eye. And the way your tight curled hair was up in a braid that held up a stunning crown that matched your sleek but classy dress. Yunho had dragged him to a hybrid pageant show cause he wanted to see what kind of hybrids Mingi would be interested in. And let's just say he was not going to leave the venue until he met you and got your number.
Tumblr media
Wooyoung - Red Fox
Even though red foxes are common, they are one of the desirable in the hybrid trafficking rings since they are very breedable. Wooyoung and a sub-unit of men, a part of his organization, sought out these rings to help save hybrids, and that’s where he met you. Little, shy, scared you. The colour in your fur was almost gone, and there was no spark, no life in your eyes. It took months until you opened up, and then some more just for you to crack a smile. Your playfulness and cheekiness started to come out. You would run around, screaming, laughing, being chased by him. The life in your eyes was back, your smile growing and growing every day. And his love for you grew just the same.
Tumblr media
Jongho - Red Panda
He was on an undercover sting for the last four nights. Sitting on the same street, waiting for some bastard low life that was crushing some of the operations Jongho was working on. And through these four days, he saw you every night. At the same time, on the dot going for a night walk. He was curious why such a cute little fluffy ball hybrid would be out at such an hour. Every night, too? What were you looking for? Were you just going for a walk for fun? It wasn’t until he saw the low life he was trying to catch grab you and pull you into a nearby alley. Jongho was out of his car and in the alley in seconds. But what he saw wasn’t the horrific image that flashed in his head. No, it was much more. Your sharp teeth covered in blood, dripping down and staining your clean clothing. Your fur is frizzy and puffed up. There was anger in your eyes. And Jongho knew two things. One, He was oddly horny about you killing someone twice your size and two, never, ever, get on your bad side. Luckily, he has never been in a direct line of your rage…. Wooyoung wasn’t so lucky.

"oh she is the cutest!" feyre swoons, her arms extending towards the child that's hiding behind temperance.
"say hi, piper." you look down and behind your legs to where the girl is clutching onto your pant thighs. though she's got a small fear in her eyes, she still peeks out slightly, taking in the view of your family. five very intense pairs of eyes stare back at her. "it's okay, pip." you whisper, "they're my family."
"hello everyone." she says softly, her voice no higher than the squeak of a small kitchen mouse. "where's azzy?" she questions, looking up and big eyes stare at you.
rhys looks at feyre, a knowing smirk playing upon his face, and a matching one on hers. they've both got that look in their eyes that they get when they're communicating through the bond - you roll your eyes knowing that they're never going to let azriel live down the nickname.
"he'll be here soon. he's just a little busy right now." you smooth down her hair with a gentle hand and she frowns, stepping behind you more as cassian approaches, a grin on his features.
"since when do you have a kid?" he questions, crouching down to eye level with piper. he cranes his neck to attempt to see her but she tucks herself behind you even more. "ooh! lemme guess the father. lemme guess - it's az, isn't it! i always knew you two were fucking."
"she's not mine. and watch your mouth." you huff, kicking cassian lightly and he topples over. "remember the mission rhys sent me on?" cassian nods from his spot on the floor. "i found her." you wince at your choice of words - you definitely could've phrased that better. piper seems to be unaffected by your words, instead choosing to let her shadows sniff out cassian.
"what do you mean you found her? you can't just take people's kids, dude. that's super illegal." cassian scoffs, "how do you 'find' a kid and just take her? rhys, that has to be illegal-" he sits up, but his eyes furrow as he sees little tendrils of black whirling around his arms. "isn't that-"
"there's another shadowsinger in velaris." rhys muses from his spot at the table. "we thought it best for her to come here and train here with our shadowsinger."
"so you just.. took her?" cassian looks bewildered, "dude.. this high lord shit has to have some rules to it. you can't just take kids!" he stands up, stretching, before peeking around your legs to see pip staring back at him. "hi." he grins, "i'm cassian." then, he bends down to whisper, "i'm kind of the coolest one here. everyone else here sucks."
"pip, don't listen to him. he's a moron." you sigh and hear little giggles from behind you, whispers of shadows trailing up your arms. there was one shadow though, that stayed nestled in your neck. it didn't belong to the girl, no, it was one of azriel's shadows that had seemed to take a strong liking to you and preferred you over its master.
"you're very silly mr. cassian." she comments, peeking out a little more. you're grateful for cassian's resolve and the things he's seen - you don't know what you'd do if he made piper feel any worse about her current condition. you don't know what azriel would do if he found out that someone dared look at piper with disgust.
piper steps out and the inner circle holds their breaths. her left eye has a deep scratch on it that stretches from her eyebrow to right underneath her eye. it seems to be healing well, but it settles painfully in everyone's gut to see such a large scar on a pure face.
the rest of her face is filled with smaller scratches. thankfully ones that won't scar. no one's seen it yet - but if piper turned around there would be a missing pair of wings on her back.
no one comments. based on the way cassian and rhys look - they're ready to kill whoever did this to this girl, and they'd only known her for less than an hour. even nesta, normally cold-faced, looks full of anger.
piper pulls on your pant leg and points to the table. you hold her hand and her limping does not go unnoticed by your family. she's relearning to walk without the weight of her wings - and feyre's eyes widen once she realizes.
piper's movements are stiff and the table is silent. for the first time in years, the entire house is silent.
conversation starts up as you help pile food onto piper's plate. despite her condition, her eyes still sparkle with glee. as soon as she puts her first spoon in her mouth, the door to the dining room opens and piper turns quickly,.
"azzy!" everyone is blown back by how loud her shriek is. they're even more surprised at how fast she manages to sprint across the dining room and into azriel's arms, despite her condition. "you came back!"
he picks her up, balancing her on one hip with ease. "told ya i would, pip." his voice is soft as he pats the top of her head. their shadows intertwine and zip around the two of them, as if they were doing their own catching up. "did you do your training today?"
"i did!" her movements have caught up to her and she leans against his legs for support, her breathing becoming labored. he notices, and shadows come to swirl around her legs, ready to catch her if she falls. "i walked all the way down the stairs today! by myself!"
the inner circle watches in awe as the shy little girl they'd just seen exploded into personality at the sight of the quiet and stoic spymaster. rhys smiles to himself - he knew that bringing the girl here was a good idea.
"that's great progress, pip." azriel's voice is laced with exhaustion. his eyes finally catch yours - but only because he felt the pool of your emotions in his chest. he nods softly at you, once to tell you he's okay, and he watches your shoulders relax. "tomorrow we're going to go to the healer's again. she wants to -" azriel glances at the inner court, "she wants to check up on you."
"okay." she smiles, "maybe we can walk there! and i can do it by myself this time!"
"i think you can do it, pip." azriel hums, "how about we go eat? i'm starving." he looks up at you, and smiles again, "and then we can go back to your room and finish that puzzle." "yes!" piper nods quickly, "yes, please!" she holds onto azriel's hand for support, and doesn't flinch when her hands touch his marred ones.
azriel sits between you and piper, his eyes watching every single person at the table as they interact with the girl. they may be his family, but if one person - even his own brothers, made a wrong move, he'd flip the table over. his protection for the girl ran deep - so much so that it worries him.
his shadows whisper that it's alright - his protection is justified. they whisper he'll never have to act to protect her, they'll do it for him. and they whisper that if he does have to act, it'll be justified. they whisper to him that the carnage he'd bring for this girl is justified.
so azriel lets his worries go. they're right.

Told You So
part 6 of rivals
Jo gets her first start of the Victory Tour in her home state, and the team finally gets to meet her family.

Tumblr media
“Guess what I’ve got.”
I grinned as Hope tilted her head to the side. I tapped at my chest.
“Hope you brought all the good trash talk today, Solo. You’re not gonna stop anything I throw at you.”
“Yeah, whatever you say, Pip.”
I pouted at the nickname. I was sure that I would have grown out of it by now, but Hope had been adamant about making sure it stuck around.
“Jo!” I whirled around to look at Becky who did not look happy with me. “Stop taunting the goalies. Get to work!”
“But that’s no fun,” I whined, although I was already starting to move to the opposite side of the field to get ready with the rest of the forwards. “You don’t have to be so boring all the time.”
“If you don’t get your butt over there, I can really be boring for you,” Becky assured, “I’ll make sure you do all of your school work on our off day.”
I shook my head at that as I started to jog across the field.
“Always ruining my fun,” I grumbled knowing that the mic would pick it up. “I’m sixteen. I think I’m allowed a little fun, right?”
My eyes found the camera that was following me as I gave it a little shrug.
Once I reached the other forwards, Christen was quick to join my side. We didn’t initially say anything to each other as we warmed up. That was until Christen tried to nutmeg me, but I moved my heel just enough to keep the ball in front of me.
“You’ve been spending too much time with Tobin,” I said as I pointed at her.
Christen shook her head at that.
“You’re in a really good mood. Your exams go well?”
“I was exempt. All A’s.”
“That’s good. Get you into Stanford with those grades.”
“I know some others who would object to that.”
Christen rolled her eyes at that. I had been hearing everyone hype up their own college, but I ultimately hadn’t decided where I was going to go just yet.
“So, what does have you so happy?”
“We’re in Texas. This is my home game. Jill told me she’d start me since I saved up all my tickets for the year so my family can come.”
“You had to save up all of your tickets?” Alex asked behind me.
I glanced over my shoulder to look at her before nodding.
“But that’s almost thirty tickets,” Christen pointed out.
I furrowed my brow in confusion. I hadn’t been shy about talking about how big my family was.
“I have twelve siblings. That’s why they couldn’t go to the World Cup. There’s just way too many of us.”
“You have twelve siblings?” Alex asked. I nodded. “Did your parents never hear of a condom?”
“To be fair, I was a complete accident,” I admitted. “Marley was born when my parents were nineteen. Five of my siblings were born back-to-back years.”
“You were an accident?”
“Yeah, no one told my parents how long they should have actually waited after my dad got a vasectomy. Nine months later and there I was.”
“They’re all coming?”
“Yeah! And my niece, Sky. I can’t wait for you guys to meet Sky. She loves the team.”
“Oh, yeah?”
“Yeah,” I nodded. “She watches all the games. I think she’s the only one who knows more about soccer than you just need to get the ball into the back of the net.”
“Well, then I can’t wait to meet her,” Christen said as she ruffled my hair.
I grinned at that before we were all called to huddle so we could start our drills.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“What do you mean you aren’t coming?”
I ran a hand through my hair as I paced in front of the foot of my bed.
“I have an important interview scheduled, Jo,” Mom said causing me to scoff. “It could boost the book sales. And our family is expected to be there to support me. We’re supposed to be showing a united front.”
“Yeah, because nothing screams united like missing your youngest daughter’s victory tour. I don’t even know why I try to invite any of you. It isn’t like I’ve been asking the team to save all of my tickets for the games throughout the year to make sure everyone in the family could come.”
“You’ll have other games,” Dad cut in. I shook my head at that. They didn’t get it. They never did. “Us missing this game isn’t going to kill you.”
“When was the last game of mine you went to?” I asked. Both of my parents went silent. I couldn’t even remember myself. “You couldn’t come to the World Cup, which is the biggest stage I’ll ever play on. You didn’t come to my national team debut. Those I could somewhat understand because they weren’t in Texas. But this? This game is in Texas. It’s San Antonio. It’s only three hours and you’re telling me you won’t even make that trip to watch me?”
“We have more important things,” Dad said. I tried to blink away the tears that were starting to pool in my eyes. “We’re trying to think about the family.”
“How about for once in my life, you think about me? It’s always been the family. No one has ever been there for me. Not really!” I snapped. I let out a laugh of disbelief. “The only person who has even cared to learn anything about the sport I love so much is Sky! You couldn’t even name half of my national teammates. You’ve never cared about soccer past whether I was a good player or not. The only time you’ve had something to say to me was when I lost. It’s never when I win.
“I won the World Cup and I stayed silent when no one in this family besides Sky celebrated it because I knew that this game was going to happen. Silly me for believing that this family would actually show up to celebrate me for once! I had to watch as every single one of my teammates was able to celebrate with their family while I was left alone! You will never understand what that’s like!”
“You want to talk about never understanding?” Dad snapped back. “You could never understand that sacrifices that your mother and I have made for this family!”
“That’s your responsibility! You’re the ones who decided to have a family! It’s up to you to take care of us and make those sacrifices! I’m not the one who should be suffering just because I was the kid you never wanted!”
“We’ve never said we didn’t want you,” Mom defended. I didn’t fight the tears this time. “You and most of your siblings weren’t planned but we have always wanted all of you.”
“Do you?”
Both of my parents went silent at that. They had never shown true interest in what I was doing.
“You both have a funny way of showing it.”
Before either of them could respond I ended the call. I tossed my phone to the side, not caring where it ended up, before throwing myself on the bed. I curled into a ball as I grabbed a hold of a pillow. I let out the loudest scream I could muster up as I just let the tears fall from my eyes.
I didn’t even think too much about it when the pillow was pulled away from me and replaced with a person. I didn’t mind either even as someone else hugged me from behind as well.
“It’s okay,” Becky soothed as she rubbed my back. “It’s okay. You’re okay, Jo. You’re okay. You’re safe.”
It didn’t take much to deduce that the person who had pried me away from the pillow was Alyssa. Especially once she started to run her hand through my hair. And with the emotional toll talking to my parents had already taken on me, it wasn’t long before I was falling asleep.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I blinked my eyes open before I wiped my face. I frowned as I glanced around at the room. I tried to get my bearings, but it just felt like I couldn’t get over how disoriented I currently was. I could have sworn that Becky and Alyssa were here, but there was no trace of them.
I reached over to grab ahold of my phone where it was sitting on the nightstand. I didn’t even remember picking it up after I had thrown it to the side. But then again, I wasn’t even sure what time it was.
8:17 pm.
Shit.
Dinner was nearly over. I scrambled from the bed and into the bathroom. I turned on the sink and quickly washed at the tear tracks that were on my face. I couldn’t let any of my teammates know that I had been crying over something so insignificant. They had finally just started to look at me as if I was actually worthy of being on the team. I couldn’t let anything risk that.
Once I had decided that my face was cleaned off enough that I wouldn’t get any questions, I grabbed a hoodie that was sitting on the desk chair before pulling the hood up over my head. I didn’t even bother with the elevator. I was much more likely to run into some of my teammates that way. The stairs were much safer.
I made it through the doors of the mess hall that we had set up downstairs just before they stopped serving our meals. I was a bit surprised by how empty the room already was, I knew that most of the team liked to hang around and just chill with each other. But Becky and Alyssa were sitting at a table with each other with an extra plate.
Becky was the first one to spot me and waved me over to join them. As if I ever ate with anyone else.
“Feeling better?”
I froze at Becky’s question. So, I didn’t make up Becky and Alyssa being with me in the room.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
I refused to look at either of them as I focused on my food.
“Jo,” Alyssa started as I tried to shovel my food in my mouth as fast as I could, “it’s okay to be upset about it.”
“Seriously, guys,” I said, once I swallowed the food in my mouth, “I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
“So, you don’t want to talk about a call with your parents made you cry enough that you eventually fell asleep?”
I pushed the plate of food away from me as my fork clattered against the table. I met Becky’s eyes as I clenched my jaw.
“I’m sorry you had to see that,” I said after a moment of silence passed between the three of us. “I’m usually much better about making sure no one has to see that.”
I didn’t waste any time standing up. I knew that I could at least hide away with Rose and Sam. We had, after all, gotten close while at the U-20 World Cup a year ago.
“Jo.”
Alyssa tried to catch my hand, but I was quick to shuffle away from the two of them.
“I’m not hungry anymore.”
I didn’t give them any time to say anything else as I left the mess hall. I knew that I would regret not eating my dinner, but I really wasn’t in the mood to eat right now.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“So, you know that we love having you,” Sam started, causing me to raise my eyebrows at the taller player, “but Becky keeps asking us to make sure you’re fine. Like multiple times a day.”
I rolled my eyes at that. I had initially thought that Christen was just messing with me when she told me that I would never be able to escape Becky and Alyssa being my team moms now.
“Did something happen that we need to know about?” Rose added.
“Everything’s fine,” I assured. I had been so adamant about making sure that I wouldn’t be anywhere near Becky and Alyssa the past couple of days that I had even knocked out all of my homework for the entire trip. “Becky’s just dramatic. Really wish she’d learn that I don’t need a second mother.”
“Hey,” Rose said, drawing my eyes from my phone to her, “Becky’s just worried about you. It’s a little unfair for you to be upset with her when we all are.”
“Yeah, well, there’s nothing to be worried about.”
“Jo,” Sam softly said, “You’ve been avoiding Becky and Alyssa for the past two days. Something obviously happened. Becky seems really worried about you.”
“It’s nothing.”
“Look, we’re not asking you what it’s about,” Rose said, as she grabbed my phone when I went to look at it again. “We’re just asking that you check in with Becky. Sam and I don’t mind you staying in our room, but we are getting tired of Becky constantly asking us how you’re doing.”
I sighed at that. I knew that it wasn’t Rose or Sam’s fault. It wasn’t even Becky or Alyssa’s fault.
“Yeah, sure,” I said. Becky at least deserved to know that I wasn’t mad at her. “I’ll talk to her tomorrow. After the game.”
“Jo-”
“After the game,” I reaffirmed when Rose tried to say anything. “I just need to make sure that my head is in the game since I’m starting.”
Rose and Sam looked between each other before Rose nodded in agreement.
“But you have to talk to her.”
I nodded at that. It was a fair demand if I was going to still be here in their room.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I grinned as I jumped up onto Sam’s back. The older woman grunted but she steadied herself.
“I’m not a horse, you know.”
“Come on, Sammy! I scored a hat-trick. Gotta keep these legs fresh.”
“Try an ice bath.”
I shivered at the thought.
“No thanks,” I said to Sam.
Sam huffed, but she didn’t fight to get me off her back.
“Saw that your family is here,” Rose spoke up. I nodded at that as my eyes found where my family was sitting in the stands. “You weren’t lying that it’s huge.”
“Did everyone think that I was?” I asked. Sam and Rose both nodded their heads causing me to huff. “No one ever believes me. Not even my friends at school. Am I really that hard to trust?”
Both Sam and Rose froze at that.
“Not hard to trust,” Becky assured me as she and Alyssa joined our little group. “But twelve siblings is a lot. Kind of hard to wrap your head around.”
I slid off of Sam’s back. I knew that I needed to talk to Becky and Alyssa without anyone else butting into our conversation.
“I can explain it all to you if you really need me to when we get back to the hotel.”
Rose and Sam both shook their heads at that before making their exit to greet the fans.
I looked at the two for a moment before rubbing at the back of my neck.
“I was never mad at either of you.”
“We know,” Becky said. She reached out to place a hand on my shoulder. “We were never upset with you. We just worry about you, Jo.”
“Yeah, and the whole running off didn’t help,” Alyssa added. Becky was quick to elbow the goalie’s side. Alyssa glared at Becky. “Hey! I’m just trying to tell her that she worried us more by running off then just talking.”
“I’ve never had anyone to talk to,” I admitted. Both of the older players looked at me. “I have twelve siblings and not a single one is that interested in soccer. Plus, Elvis and Mick are the closest to me in age and they can be assholes.”
“Siblings usually are,” Alyssa agreed. “But they’ll always be there for you.”
“I’m just not used to it,” I said. They two looked between each other causing me to motion to them. “People actively caring about me. I mean, they care. My family. I know they do, but there’s so many of us that things just don’t seem as impressive anymore.”
Becky reached out to pull me into a hug along with Alyssa.
“Well, you’ll always have us. Promise.”
I squeezed the two a bit tighter before Alyssa forced her way away from us.
“Okay, go spend some time with your family. After all, Becky didn’t convince them to come just for you to ignore them.”
I paused at that as I turned to Becky.
“Thank you.”
Becky nodded before pushing me away.
“You’ll have to bring Sky to the locker room with you,” Becky said with a grin. “Go enjoy the time with your family.”
I nodded before rushing off over to where my family was.

Heres an extremely dumbass idea I thought of while rewatching parks and rec through clips
Tumblr media
Belos: “Depressed? I’m the furthest thing from depressed. I mean, look at what I’ve accomplished. Do you see them? Do you think a depressed person could make this? No.”
Hunter:” uh…father who are you talking to? There’s no one there”
Tumblr media
Here’s the live Caleb reaction
But yeah I just find Caleb showing up to haunt Belos’s ass at random points and judging every life decision he’s making, so then every time Belos has to miserably fail to try to justify everything he’s done ever to (quite literally) dead silent Caleb is kinda funny in a morbid way
This time he is showing off and brings up his two grimwalkers that have lasted the longest beating his record of two years as an example of a good life decision as well as proving that he totally doesn’t need therapy
Ngl I feel bad for Pip as the poor guy just wanted to nap and got picked up just for Belos to prove a point but he stayed asleep through all of it tho
Btw Caleb is trying so hard not to loose his shit just because there’s youngins there and he doesn’t want to wake up Pip by making Belos pissed off so he’s going to stand there in silence even more menacingly and judgemental
I like the idea that despite the weird as fuck origins of Pip and Hunter, Caleb still sees them as his nephews and likes to check up on them every once in a while when he’s not haunting Belos, Caleb checks on Hunter the most because he’s constantly in dangerous situations even inside the castle so it helps Hunter a lot to have Caleb staring daggers at Belos whenever he gets violent towards Hunter because it usually stops him
On the other hand Caleb does like checking on Pip because it’s nice seeing a version of what could have been if Philip had learnt to accept the boiling isles :( also I can imagine it’s nice seeing your great x(insert number) granddaughter continue your wife’s tradition of being a menace to a stuck up society and teaching those ways to your weird mini brother/ nephew.
also fun fact Hooty can see Caleb (don’t ask how) and greatly enjoys chatting to him as Caleb was the one who managed to convince Eve to let hooty stay in their house’s door as a “guard” but really Caleb just felt bad for the wee bug demon as hooty didn’t have a home at the time and thought so he would be a fun addition to the family hence why alongside Lilith, Caleb was one of Hooty’s favourite people
btw nobody really cares or finds it unusual for hooty to just be talking to himself so not one single person has asked about it lmao
Almost forgot to mention but this is actually still a weird memory that Hunter remembers and used to wonder why on the boiling isles did Belos have those random fits of “hallucinations” until he talked about it with Pip.
Pip was just causally like “wait you couldn’t see him?” And walked off… Hunter has never found out or gotten a clear answer if Pip was actually joking or if he could straight up see dead people, Pip refuses to reveal the real answer because he finds Hunter being confused as fuck hilarious
Also if your wondering why Belos doesn’t have the cool mechanical prosthetic staff arm, he usually hides it with a glove :p (this is because a) I’m too lazy to draw such a detailed prosthetic all the time and b) I doubt Belos would like people to know he’s missing an arm as I doubt he would like the idea of seeming “weak” because in his day this would essentially be a death sentence either due to infection or being classed as less than due to not being able to work properly)

Contract Spouse Chapter 2
Tumblr media
Chapter 2: The Letter
A/N: Not so much this chapter but this fic is going to get dark at times, it's not going to be as fluffy like Sleepy Baby.
Pairing: Jake Seresin/Reader (nicknamed Pip)
Warning:  Angst,
Length: 2000ish
Summary: Jake tells the Dagger Squad about Pip.
Previous     Masterlist     Next
You roll your shoulders and send off the final few texts and emails of the day, checking the time you sign off at 5:00PM. Being a virtual assistant had its perks. You got to wear yoga pants all day and there was no commute, but the biggest perk was the fact you were able to work two jobs.
One was a fairly involved executive assistant position at a growing company that took up most of your time. The other was as a glorified Google Calendar, keeping your extremely ADHD boss from missing deadlines, meetings, and anything else important.
The downside was a large L-shaped desk with three monitors set up in your bedroom. You had a business degree but when the opportunity evolved out of your part time administrative assistant job, you had taken it. When you had found yourself with a couple hours of down time during your work day you had subtly asked around and had gotten a second job managing your other bosses emails and calendar.
You walked into the kitchen you would be sharing with Sami until the end of the month. After over five years of it being the two of you she had finally decided to move in with her boyfriend of two years. You were happy for her but unsure of your own future. Should you renew your lease? Find a smaller, cheaper, single bedroom place? Get a roommate? You didn’t know what you wanted to do and time was running out.
That was a lie, you know what you wanted to do but it was impossible. You wanted to move in with your husband, drop everything and move across the country to be with him. But it’s not that kind of marriage, you tell yourself for what feels like the millionth time. It has never been.
Jake had been your teenage crush. Your best friend's handsome big brother, nothing would ever come of it. But when you needed him, he had married you, he had even called you almost daily to keep up the pretense that your marriage was real.
With every phone call you had fallen further and further in love with your husband. He was sweet, funny, caring, and supportive. You’ve never told anyone of your feelings but sometimes you think Sami suspects it.
You knew Jake went on dates and hooked up with women. You have tried going on dates, and one night stands, but could never get over the guilt. The feeling that you were cheating on Jake.
You again consider divorcing him. It would be easier. You could date and start a real relationship. You knew how this train of thought would end. You would have yourself convinced you were going to call it quits and then Jake would call and say ‘hello’ in a tone of voice that told you he was smiling and you would be sucked right back in.
He would sign the divorce papers the minute you asked but you kept torturing your heart. You knew you couldn’t keep waiting forever, knew that eventually you would have to move on but you couldn’t. Not yet, anyway.
– – –
You hear keys in the lock and the door open and glance at the time, it’s 12:30 AM, “You're past curfew.” You can hear Sami chuckle as she walks in and drops two envelopes on your head.
“I get your mail for you and all I get is sass.” She flops down on the couch beside you. “Are you watching Downton Abbey again?” she groans as you just shrug.
“I want your final month here to be exactly the same as the past five years of us living together.” You grin at her rolling eyes. “You going out and having fun, and me staying in, watching a period drama.”
“Goodnight, Dork.” You can hear the fondness in her voice as she gets up and heads to bed. You look at the envelopes, one is a reminder to renew your car insurance, the other has the NCIS emblem. Frowning you open it and your jaw drops as you read the letter inside. It has come to our attention… marriage under contract… opening an investigation….
“Shit.”
You scramble and grab your phone, quickly calling Jake, when he doesn't answer you try him again. You are taken aback by a woman's voice answering and feel a twinge of jealousy and guilt. You had always told yourself that you would never negatively impact Jake's life while married to him and you hope you didn’t ruin something by calling him like this.
After rambling at the woman on the phone you hang up and stare at your reflection on the black screen. You are so lost in thought that you jump when Jake's face pops up with an incoming call.
“Pip? What's wrong? Are you hurt?” His sounds worried and, despite this, you immediately relax at the sound of his voice.
“I’m ok, I’m sorry!” You are talking in a rush. “I didn't mean to ruin your date.”
“I’m not on a date.” You sag in relief at his response. Happy you didn’t ruin his date or happy he is not on a date, you’re not sure.
“I got a letter,” You stare at the paper in your hand. “Jake, someone reported our marriage.”
“Shit.”
“That's what I said.” You reread bits of the letter to him, giving Jake a moment to process. “It says they are going to be interviewing people who know us,” you pause, ”Jake, I haven't told anyone about us.” Running your hand through your hair, you bite your lip in nerves. “I don’t have a lot of friends or share personal details.”
“I’ll tell the squad.” You can hear it in his voice when he shifts into protector mode. “Rooster owes me his life so he’ll lie for us.” His voice is tense when he says that, bitter in the way he always gets when he talks about the things he never speaks of. “And don't forget the fake marriage plans. No one can say we don’t have a relationship.”
“Yeah,” you agree. “I’ll scan the letter and email it to you.”
“Thanks, I’m going to head home. I’ll call you when I get there.” You agree and go to hang up but Jake stops you. “It’s going to be alright, you planned for this.” You agree softly. “I love you, Pip. We got this.”
“I love you too,” your reply is quiet and automatic as you hang up the phone, rising to go scan the letter. Jake always said he loved you. It had started as a cover when the two of you were together at a military event, that as his wife, you couldn’t avoid. He had urged you to do the same jokingly.
“I love you, Pip.” His cheeky grin melted and hardened your heart.  “Now tell me you love me too, and make sure I believe it.”
 After years of saying it you were sure he meant it, in his own way, Just not in the same way you meant it every time the words crossed your lips.
– – –
Jake rubs his head as he stares at his teammates, he had been up late last night talking to Pip. He had asked them to meet him in the parking lot after training where they could not be overheard. “I need to tell you guys something that if anyone asks you’ve always known.”
The faces around him show a variety of emotions. Coyote is resigned, but then again, he already knows. Rooster and Fanboy look giddy with excitement, like little kids about to be told a secret. Phoenix’s eyes are narrowed in suspicion. Only Payback and Bob have mastered a look of polite interest.
“Pip, the woman on the phone, she’s my wife.”
Jake registers the feeling of his head jerking to the side a millisecond before the pain of the slap hits him and causes his left cheek to bloom red. “Jesus Christ Phoenix!” Jake raises his hand to his cheek, shock on his face. “What the fuck was that?”
Phoenix is subtly flexing her hand to shake out the pain from the slap. “You go home with a different woman every night you can!” Rage is clouding her eyes. “You’re telling me you have been cheating on some poor woman all this time?” Rooster moves forward and places himself between Jake and Phoenix.
“Ow! No!” Jake’s cheek feels hot. “It’s a fucking marriage of convenience!” He runs his tongue on the inside of his cheek, searching for the telltale metallic taste of blood, but it's not there. “She was sick and needed health care so I married her when I was still in flight school.”
“Is she better?” Trust Bob to do the decent thing and be concerned with the health of a stranger.
“You know, Phoenix, you should listen to your Wizzo more.” Jake says, gingerly feeling the warmth of his cheek. “Ask questions first, instead of slapping.”
“You’ve had it coming on some level,” Phoenix says without remorse before repeating Bob's question. “Is she better Hangman?”
“She's fine, it's been over five years.”
“Why’d you stay married?” Payback asks. He’s the only other married member of the squad.
Jake shrugs, “the money, and the spousal benefits helped her.” He knows that's not the truth. At least not the whole truth but he doesn’t want to get into the hollow little feeling in his chest every time he thinks about ending the charade.
“How’d you meet?” Roster asks.
“She’s my baby sister's best friend.” Jake waits for Rooster to do the math. Rooster and Sami had crossed paths before and Jake had warned Rooster to stay away from his younger sister.
“Jesus, Hangman, was she a child bride?”
“No!” Jake rubs his face in defeat. “She was eighteen, and it's not that type of marriage, it's just a piece of paper.”
“So why are you telling us this now?” Phoenix crosses her arms and looks at Jake expectantly.
“Pip got a letter.” Jake sighs. “Someone reported our marriage as fake and now we are being investigated.”
“Shit,” Fanboy muses, “do they have a case?” Jake looks at him in exasperation. Fanboy was brilliant at his job, but some days Jake suspected all other available mental real estate was taken up with nerd trivia leaving no space for common sense.
“Yes Fanboy, they do have a case.” Jake rolls his eyes before continuing. “We talk on the phone and have a joint bank account but we’ve never lived together, most of it can be explained away through health, deployments, and her university.”
“So what do you need us to do?” Payback asks.
“Just pretend you have always known I was married.” Jake looks around at everyone nodding. “Pip hasn’t told anyone so you will have to prove that it wasn’t a secret. Coyote was a witness so he has legal proof of knowing.”
“Don’t worry man.” Rooster claps him on the shoulder. “We've got your back.”
“Thank you.” Jake says sincerely. “I’m diving to Austin at the end of the month. Pip’s lease with my sister is up and she’s going to move in with me to make it look real.”
Coyote nods. “That makes sense, this is the first long term posting you’ve had since she finished University.”
“Sooo, yeah,” Jake spreads his arms out helplessly. “In conclusion, I’ve been married to Pip for six years and you have always known. Any questions?”
“Why do you call her Pip?” Fanboy asks, “What's her real name?”
Jake tells them your name. “She always looked so short next to my sister so I called her Pipsqueak. Pip for short.”
After a few more questions everyone walks to their cars and leaves. Phoenix hangs back until it is just her and Jake. “You did the right thing marrying her.” She motions to the red that has not faded from his cheek. “I feel a little bad that I hit you so hard.”
“You could have not hit me at all.”
“Don’t push your luck Hangman.” She walks to her car before turning around. “Rooster’s right though, we’ve got your back.”

The one thing that everyone seems to know about Eddie Munson is that when he's not out touring the world with his band, Corroded Coffin, he makes a point to be as invisible as possible in order to spend time at home with his family. Eddie, along with his wife Chrissy of seven years and their two young children, graciously invited Vogue into their Hollywood Hills home that's about as secluded as you can get while still having that coveted Los Angeles zip code.
Vogue: I have to admit, given what I've seen of Corroded Coffin on stage, I think I expected your home to reflect a bit more of that personality.
Eddie Munson: [laughs] You can thank Chrissy for that. She's the brains behind this whole operation, I just do what she tells me.
So there's no hidden dungeon in the basement?
Hate to burst your bubble, but nope. I've been trying to get a sacrificial altar for the backyard, but I haven't found one I liked yet.
Really?
[laughs] I'm kidding. But I had you going, right?
You really did. But that's what you've always done, right? Leaned into the mania of Satanic Panic and made it work for you?
Yeah, I guess so. I mean, people are gonna believe whatever they wanna believe anyway so I might as well give 'em what they want, right? Plus, [laughs] it's a hell of a lot of fun.
What's it like having that devil-worshipper stage persona with two young kids at home? Do either of your kids know what their dad does for a living?
Oh, yeah. They [redacted] love it. Wait, can I say [redacted]?
We can't print it, but you can say it.
[Redacted] yeah. Our little one doesn't really get the whole stage thing yet, but she sure looks cute in those big-ass headphones.
And your other daughter?
Oh, if she could be on stage with me every night, she would be. On our last tour, we had this gimmick where Gareth rigged a bunch of blood packs to his drums to explode during the encore and she thought it was the coolest [redacted] thing in the world. He even offered to let her do it when we were in rehearsals!
And did she?
Maybe.
From the look on your face, I'm guessing she did.
[laughs] Don't tell Chrissy.
Scout's honor. Until this article comes out, anyway.
[Redacted]. Is it too late to say off the record?
Way too late.
[Redacted]. Oh well. Worth it. She had the biggest [redacted] grin on her face when she was covered in fake blood, it was priceless.
Seems like you might be raising a mini version of yourself. Would you support your kids following in your footsteps and joining the music industry?
[Editor's note: At this point in the interview, the eldest Munson child came running out of the back door and pounced on her father, who took it in stride and continued answering questions as though he didn't have a six-year-old hanging over his shoulder.]
I mean, if that's what they wanna do, then hell yeah.
[gasps] Daddy said a bad word!
Daddy did not, Daddy said hell.
Mommy said hell's a bad word.
Mommy also said you were supposed to stay inside, didn't she?
Pip was crying. She misses you.
Do you need a moment?
[laughs] Believe me, if I took a moment for every time I wanted to be with my kids, I'd never get anything done.
Because you love us so much?
Exactly.
How much?
To the moon and back.
That's a lot!
Sure is, kiddo. Now shush and let the nice lady ask her questions.
Ooh, ask me! Ask me! I got lots of stories.
If you don't mind?
It's your funeral. [laughs] She'll talk your ear off if you let her.
What do you think about your dad being a rockstar?
[shrugs] It's okay.
Wow, thanks for the endorsement, kid. You heard it here first: being a rockstar is just okay.
Would you rather he had another job?
[shrugs] What other job?
I dunno. Playing music's the only thing I've ever been good at.
Nuh-uh! Daddy's good at lots of things.
Like what?
Telling stories. Playing with me. One time, he built me a big castle out of pillows and chairs and blankets and we played in it all day 'til Mommy said it was time for dinner. And then we all went to bed in it. Like camping!
Camping? When did you go camping?
Mommy let us sleep outside and said it was like camping. It was when you were gone. I don't like when you're gone. It makes Mommy sad. And then I'm sad. And Pip's sad. You're not going away again, are you?
No, baby. I'm staying right here with you.
Good. [to Vogue] Do you wanna see what Daddy brought home for me last time he went away?
I'd love to.
Okay!
[Editor's note: just as quickly as she came, Munson's daughter ran off to go fetch the present from inside the house.]
Do you need a minute?
Nah. It just… [sighs] never gets easier, you know? Hearing how much they miss me when I'm gone. I miss them all the [redacted] time.
I'm not surprised. Just from the last five minutes, I can see how much she adores you and I can't imagine what it's like to leave that behind, even when it's to go on a worldwide tour.
It's tough. I love my job, don't get me wrong. It's what's given us this house, all the [redacted] that the girls need, anything they could ever want, but… [shrugs] I dunno. Sometimes giving it all up doesn't sound half as hard as leaving them is. Maybe that's just me being ungrateful.
I don't think so. I think it means you're human. Stuck between a rock and a hard place, you know? Torn between two worlds.
[laughs] Now there's an idea for an album. The dichotomy of being a rockstar and a father.
I'd listen to it.
Hell, so would I.
(might continue this with a lil follow-up fic of chrissy and eddie reading the interview before it goes to print... thoughts? 👀)

Random Thought of the day. (This actually could be a Short story, but I’ll label it as a headcannon) pre agggtm.
The Quiet Affections of Pippa Fitz Amobi (HeadCannons)
Tumblr media
Paring: Pippa Fitz Amobi x fem reader
Warnings: fluff, heart melting fluff, stomach inducing fluff🤭
Pippa Fitz Amobi is a cuddler. You wouldn’t think it just from knowing her, but as soon as you two become girlfriends, and she’s completely smitten by you, she lets her walls down. She’s always the first one to initiate physical contact. It first happened at one of Josh’s football games. You had been a favorite of his lately, he adored you. “To pieces” as Leanne put it. Growing up you had a lot of siblings, so you were use to children, and you had first met Pip when your mother had inadvertently signed you up to be Josh’s baby sister in grade 8.
“Oh just this once love! Please!! The Amboi’s would be just so appreciative if you did! And you can make some pocket money! How does a nice fiver sound?” Of course you didn’t care a whit for the money. So you had agreed, taking your homework with you. You had known the Amboi’s for years, had seen them around town. You knew Pip from school, but you never spoke. You were to shy, and your schedules were always busy. Never synchronized enough to have a chat. But you knew she was kind, studious, always getting the highest marks in her year.
Josh had been overjoyed to see you, taking you by the hand as soon as soon as you had darkened the door, books in hand. He simply eyed you with his brown eyes, his brow squinting, “oh not another homework girl!” He whined, “all my sister does is homework! Are you going to do that all night too?”.
You chuckled, putting your books on the Amboi’s kitchen table, you leaned down so you were eye level with Josh, your eyes serious, “I may not know your sister as well as her friends, or you, but I do know she’s very intelligent, especially at schoolwork. Don’t you want to be good at schoolwork?”. Josh seemed to think before shaking his head, “Miss says my homework is atrocious! What does that mean?”.
You hid your smile, “I think it means you need a little more work”. Pip had come home well into the evening, you noticed because you had seen Cara Ward’s big sister drop her of. You liked the Wards, they were comical and always made you laugh, even if not on purpose. Pip at first had been surprised to see you, stopping in her tracks as she opened the front door, “mum! Can Cara sleepover on Friday?” She announced into the air, cheeks red when she found you looking up at her from the Amboi’s couch. Your cheeks red, smile wide.
You lifted your book in your hands, “Not mum sorry to disappoint” you had joked. Pip’s cheeks had turned a shade of crimson, she had shaken her head, a few embarrassed laughs falling of her lips. “Sorry, I just wasn’t expecting you to be here in my living room. Did Flora Cancel? Mum didn’t tell me she and dad were going out” Pippa stated, walking over and sitting across from you, blue watercolored eyes undoing her laces of her trainers. You shook your head, “I’m not sure about Flora, mum basically hired me for the job, apparently your mum thinks highly of me when it comes to children” you spoke, eyebrows lifted up as you turned the page on your book, “not sure why”.
You noticed Pip’s eyes had become trained on your book, a small smile perched on her lips. “Is that Great Expectations? I’ve tried to get Cara to read it with me but she just calls it “Newer Shakespeare”.
From then on you had been more accepting of babysitting Josh, Pipa would sit with you after you had put Josh to bed, eyes alight as you told her where you were in the book, how you felt about what was going on, how Charles Dickens had a way with words. She listened, attentively. At school you were more inclined to smile at her as you passed in the corridors. Pip had even gone so far as to find you in the library, “I just thought you’d like this book, it’s an Agatha Christie. It’s a first edition copy, took me ages to find. Dad had to go to ten second hand stores in London just to find it” she rambled, biting her lip. It was here where you first noticed how pretty she looked.
It hadn’t been this big earthshattering moment. It had been a small thought. But then that small thought became more. Until you didn’t think she was just pretty, you thought she was beautiful. With her soft defined cheekbones and her eyes. Which were different every time you saw her. At school they were bold, analytical, dare you say scholarly. At home in the comfort of her room, they were wild and magnetic. In the library they were radiant, and suddenly blue had a new meaning to you. It was the colour blue that made your heart race, made your tongue falter as she eyed you on her bed, waiting for your thoughts on the next classic she had leant you.
Then it was homework. You two had begun doing homework together, “a get together with a focus on scholarly matters” as Cara had put it. As Pippa worked alongside you, you noticed something, call it a earthshattering realization, but She was not the most objectively attractive girl in school, but her beauty was amplified because you admired her. Admired her for her absolutely angelic voice as she sang in the library, headphones in ears. Admired her when you sat opposite side of the room from her and watched her while she sang. She was confident enough and cool enough to have been one of the popular kids, but she didn't seem to care about that sort of thing. She was down to earth, and kind, and warm. And yes, pretty too. But that wasn't really the point. The point was, she understood you. And maybe just maybe, the way Pip would smile at you through the layers of books, might have made your heart ache in the best way.
Then it was pip herself who surprised you. She was more touchy with you, finding you at school and sitting so close your legs brushed. Holding your hand as you walked her to class. Letting you in her room, which you knew was special, only Cara and Lauren had been up here. You didn’t know what you were, best friends? But did best friends think about what her lips would feel like? How soft and warm they would be?
“Cara’s been my best friend since primary school. But you…you don’t feel like one to me. I’ve spent days reasoning with myself. Analyzing myself, trying to figure out why you feel different” Pippa had stated to you one day, out of the blue, her eyes seeming to shine, bold as the colour blue. “But I just realized. It’s because…your my person. You understand me. In ways nobody does. So when are you going to ask me out?”
So it was no surprise when you had asked her on an outing the next day, the book store of course. And she had said yes.
I just might do a actual story based on this. 🥺😭

Here's the newest animation ! I wanted to explore more of the dynamic between Philip and Caleb. How Caleb spent his childhood raising his brother and needs his own space for awhile, but Philip never truly fit in with the town people and to him, Caleb is his entire world and he feels like he's losing his family all over again. Here are also some details you might have missed I really wanted to bring attention to because I put a lot of thought into them and I think it really adds a lot to the video :D (After the images I'm also including the transcript of Philip's journal and written script, in case you can't read cursive and/or want to put it into a translator)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Caleb: Oh, hello- Philip: My chores have been done. Caleb: And so quickly! How? Philip: Well… I came across the most extraordinary thing - a snake, shedding its skin, out in the forest - and I thought that we could go on a walk to see it, like we used to. And this one I could draw in my journal! Caleb: Nothing would please me more, Pip, but there’s work still yet to be done. Philip: Then let me lend you a hand. Caleb: That’s alright. Even between the two of us, it would go on well into the evening, and I’d hate for you to miss your snake. Philip: There’s always a reason, isn’t there. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say that you were avoiding me, Caleb. Caleb: What? Pip, that’s not- Philip: True? Isn’t it? When was the last time we spoke more than in passing? Caleb: Philip- I… [He sighs] I spent my childhood, raising you - I wouldn’t trade a moment of it for anything, but you don’t need me the way you used to. Philip: … You see me as a burden ? Caleb: No, no of course not, you’re dearer to me than anything ! But we both have to have room to thrive. Why don’t you invite one of the boys from town? You might make a new friend. Philip: You know how hard I’ve tried to fit in. They don’t want anything to do with me- us. We only have each other. Some Lady: Caleb Wittebane! I’ve yet to meet a potato that will plant itself, sir! Caleb: You must excuse me - it seems as though my singular talent is sorely needed. We’ll talk later tonight. I promise. Philip: Don’t trouble yourself. I know you’ll always be there for me. Right? Caleb: Of course. I’ll always be there.
Philip's journal :
“The boys I invited to see the snake shedding found the snake and killed it. They told me it was a sign of the devil. I know of another snake, I will try asking Caleb to come this time. but he never wants to see me anymore I’m sure he misses our forest walks too.”
“This is the third time this week I attempted to spend time with Caleb. It seems my suspicions were correct … he is avoiding me. I wish I knew how to fix it. I suggested bird watching, as I’ve noticed he enjoys carving birds the most. But he would rather be away from me. I miss having a family. Why can’t I fit in ? I will try harder.”

I enjoyed the show because it scratched that KotOR itch that I desperately crave, but I can’t get over just how many scenes in The Acolyte didn’t make very much sense.
It feels like a lot of characters ended up making strange decisions purely for the sake of plot and I kept having moments where I felt like I was an idiot or like I missed something.
I made a list of big holes that I had trouble filling in my own head. Maybe someone smarter than me can explain this show to me.
Spoilers for The Acolyte S01 below
- After Sol rescues Osha and she clears her name, she says that she wants nothing to do with the situation and that Mae is the republic’s problem. She’s very clear as to what her desires are and they devote a bunch of time giving her goodbyes and then trying to sneak off. Then Sol is like “but what if you helped me??? 🥺”. And she’s like ‘ok’, and changes her mind without any hesitation. Why?
- Why did Mae decide to tie up Manny Strangerface on Khofar and give up on her quest? When this happened, I assumed she was just making up an excuse to ditch him, but it turned out genuine which was really weird. Mae has devoted her whole life to killing these people. She also called her sister Jedi scum earlier and didn’t seem to bear any real attachment to her. Where did this change of heart come from?
- Why did Darth Nobody make his dramatic appearance and morb all over all those Jedi guys? Why not just kill Mae earlier when she tied him up? Surely if he can kill a whole squad of Jedi, he can Force his way out of a stupid rope trap.
- On that note, how is it that Jecki, the padawan, is capable of squarely holding her own in an extended fight scene against a guy who just three-man solo decapitated a bunch of Jedi knights in two seconds?
- Yord gets instructions to take Osha back to the ship, despite Osha’s protest to stay. But then Osha has a vision of her sister and suddenly Yord is like “ok that checks out guess we’ll turn around then”. What?
- The thing with Pip as a flashlight. Why didn’t Powerful Sith Guy just use the Force to pull it off of himself? Seems kind of obvious, no?
- Mae stuns Osha and then clothes swaps with her. Didn’t Mae just renounce her dark side master in the name of her love her her sister? But she’s going to just leave Osha to be found by her master now?? What? Why?
- Everything about Darth Swole Guy after he picks up Osha and nurses her back to health. We just saw him being the world’s biggest dickhead, but he’s nice now? Why? Osha even asks him why he’s being nice to her, lampshading the question, but it just never really gets answered. Guess he’s just a nice guy now.
- Everything with Mother Aniseya. We’re expected to see Ascension as this big culturally important thing that the Jedi are butting into, but none of it seems particularly important to Aniseya (the coven leader) who is willing to just look the other way and let Osha do whatever she wants (valuing her individualism the same way the Jedi do). The cultural relativism plot sort of breaks down when the two cultures don’t have, you know, conflicting values.
- Every single time there’s a question of whether to go with tradition or let the girls do what they want, Aniseya actively steps against tradition in the name of ‘it’s what Osha wants’. If the leader of the coven can say that it’s not that important and let Osha leave, then why is it bad for the Jedi to interfere? It don’t make no sense.
- In the finale, why does Osha agree to train with qimmy again? She says she will take her sister’s place, but why is this an option? Also, why doesn’t he want to kill Mae anymore? Didn’t he want to kill her for being weak or whatever back when he was still Darth Scaryguy the first time they met him?
- Why erase Mae’s memories if they are just going to leave her to the Jedi anyway? The whole Vernestra questioning scene where Mae does the Rosemary Kennedy bit just felt so weird, gross, and unnecessary. “Who am I? What is this place and how did I get here?” — Dude me too, Mae. Questions I ask myself when watching The Acolyte.
- Why leave her alive at all even? Why not just kill her and tie off the loose end? Isnt that kind of show of strength what the Sith are known for?
- Why torch Sol’s reputation at the end? If you have no moral backbone and are already about to admit there was an evil Jedi guy but are really Sol’s friend, then just put Mae on trial. You literally have her in custody. Why not just execute her and call it a day?
look I really want to like this show. The casting is fantastic, the acting is overall pretty good, and the special effects are so incredibly cool and perfectly capture the vibe of an older time in the Republic era. I wish I could say this show was amazing because it panders to the exact kind of Star Wars shit I love, but it’s so incredibly hard to get past the fact that the writing is so internally incoherent with its own plot and characters.

Yogurt - Bucky Barnes
Tumblr media
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x fem!reader
Word Count: 500+
A/N: Not sure where I was going with this
Masterlist / Marvel Masterlist
Living with men was impossible. Not only were they idiots most of the time, but they were also irritating. There were many times when you actually missed the Avenger's facility. At least there were two other girls despite being drastically outnumbered by men. Maybe you should be used to it by now, but there were moments that pushed your buttons a little too hard.
"If you guys keep touching my yogurt then I will have no choice but to declare world war three." You growled to the two men who were currently sitting at the kitchen island talking about god knows what.
"Well looks like I'll win." Bucky snorted out with the cockiest expression you've seen on him. What's got him in a cocky mood today?
"Living with men is impossible. Do you guys realize I brought 10 yogurts on Monday, it's Wednesday! There are two left in the fridge, and I only had one yesterday. Do you see that the math ain't mathing?" You slammed the fridge making them both jump, it didn't wipe the smug look off of their faces though.
"Looks like you must have eaten 7 this morning." Sam piped up making him and Bucky burst out laughing like it was the funniest joke in the world.
Even though you loved Sam and Bucky with all your heart and would die for them, you so badly wanted to strangle them. You would succeed with how angry you are. Maybe you should have found a place for yourself and struggle financially. It sounded better than living with these idiots.
"I'll run to the market to get you more doll, gotta get something for dinner anyway. My turn for dinner tonight." Bucky dropped the jokes as soon as he saw you were on the verge of a breakdown or meltdown.
"Can you get that cake I like for dessert?" You pouted making him chuckle with a smile. He was so easy to get. You could practically get anything you want.
"Yeah of course."
"Great. Sam will pay for it." You said flipping your mood 360 like you were never angry. It also had perks being the only female in the house, they wrote off your mood swings and never questioned them.
"Hey wait what, I don't think so. That was bucky being whipped for you." Sam quickly dropped his smirk making you laugh. It was payback, compensation if you will.
"Come on man, it's the least you can do for eating all her yogurts." Bucky pipped with a smirk earning a slap from Sam.
"She didn't know it was me." He gritted out.
"Yes, I/She did." You and Bucky said at the same time giving Sam an unamused look at his lame attempt to hide that he did it.
"Fine fine. Just letting you know it's not fair." He mumbled handing money for your yogurt and cake.
"What's not fair is that you ate 7 yogurts in a span of a day. Are you an animal." You said with a smirk of your own.
"How did you even know it was me?"
"Because Bucky was in my bed all night." You smirked making Sam immediately cover his ears not wanting to hear his two best friend's activities.
"Okay, I give up. It's impossible living with you two. I'm moving out." Well, at least it won't be outnumbered for you anymore.

A Good Girl's Guide to Murder - author Holly Jackson and the cast on staying true to the books and the big scenes fans will recognise
Filmed in and around Somerset, the series for BBC iPlayer and BBC Three is based on the smash-hit novels
It’s the Summer holidays, but teenager Pip Fitz-Amobi is focused on an unusual school research project. In Little Kilton five years ago, schoolgirl Andie Bell went missing. Her boyfriend Sal Singh sent a text confessing to the murder before being found dead, seemingly taking his own life. Andie’s body was never found. Case closed. However, Pip isn’t so sure and is determined to prove Sal’s innocence.
The six-part series is based on Holly Jackson’s smash hit novels and stars Emma Myers (Wednesday), Anna Maxwell Martin (Motherland, A Spy Among Friends), Gary Beadle (Rye Lane, Small Axe), Mathew Baynton (Ghosts, Wonka) and newcomer Zain Iqbal.
A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder was filmed in and around Somerset, England. Commissioned by the BBC, the series is produced by Moonage Pictures (The Pursuit of Love, The Gentlemen, Bodies) in co-production with ZDFneo and Netflix.
All episodes will be available on BBC iPlayer from Monday 1 July.
Interview with Mathew Baynton
Playing Elliot Ward
Tumblr media
Who is Elliot Ward?
Elliot Ward is Pip's English teacher and Cara and Naomi's father. He believes in Pip and wants to help her do well, and he's attempting to be everything to his girls after they lost their mother. He is trying to hold things together for their sake. It is that complexity that drew me to the role.
What is A Good Girls Guide To Murder about?
A Good Girl's Guide to Murder is about an ambitious and curious young student, Pip, who decides to re-open an old case in which Andie Bell was murdered by her boyfriend Sal Singh, who then killed himself. She suspects the police might have got it wrong. In doing so Pip re-opens old wounds in the community and puts herself in danger in the process. What's cool about it and what really sets it apart is that it's as much a coming of age story as it is a murder investigation. There's this procedural element, but the protagonist is not a professional detective and not even fully an adult yet, she’s someone emerging into adulthood and going through all of the things that you go through at that age. This young woman, Pip, is facing adulthood and all the excitement and terror that comes with it. New relationships, new experiences, both thrilling and scary. It's as much about the realisation that people can hurt you, and that as you go out into the world, you need to be careful who you trust.
How would you describe the dynamic between Elliot and his children, particularly Cara?
You get the feeling that he's really genuinely trying to keep a happy house. He's conscious of the loss that they've all been through, that he loves his daughters and that he wants them to be happy. It doesn't fully delve into how open they are with each other about discussing that grief and so maybe there's more than meets the eye. I feel like he tries to be light with them and there's a bit of humour in the way that they interact with each other.
Had you read the book before you got the role of Elliot?
I hadn’t but as soon as I was on board I started seeing it everywhere and everyone I spoke to who had teenage kids had read it so I quickly realised what a big deal it was. Once I got the part I read the book in order to find out how it ends, because when I was offered the role, there were only scripts for the first few episodes and I was desperate to find out what happened. Does Pip find the truth? Where does my character end up, and where do his daughters end up? I wanted to know more. It was exciting as Holly had written a character with real depth and shades, which Poppy, Dolly and the team translated perfectly to the script and then to screen.
What can we expect from the other casting?
For me I am most interested in Pip, Cara and their group of friends because I think groups of characters can often end up mirroring that. I was watching this bunch of people all become and behave like a really tight group of friends.
What was it like working with Dolly Wells (Director)?
I had worked with Dolly Wells years ago as an actor in Spy and was very excited to work with her as a director. It was a privilege to see her supporting this young cast, and fostering a really positive atmosphere in front of camera, one that ensured we could all do our best work.
What are you most excited for the fans to see?
With a book, it's your own imaginative world, you picture everything in your head and you get really close relationships with those characters. There can be a bit of a process when you get a TV or film version of something where you have to let go of your imagination and then take on the idea, oh, that's what that character looks like. I didn't picture them that way, or whatever. So hopefully there's added dimension to this and people can still go away and enjoy the books and their images in their head, too.

John Hancock (Fallout 4) x Sole Survivor OC Fanfic
Tumblr media
Rating: MATURE (MDNI)
you are responsible for the content you consume. This work of fiction is intended for those that are 18+.
Tags:
John Hancock x Female Sole Survivor, John Hancock x Sole survivor OC, Fluff, Slow Burn, Angst, Mystery, Slight Alternate universe, Violence, Mature language, Smut. (this will be updated as I continue to write this)
Summary:
Having survived 3 weeks on the surface, Bonnie Labelle finds herself in GoodNeighbor looking for answers to her awakening in a Vault. She has no memory of what happened just before she entered the Vault or even the start of the war. And she herself is shocked by her skills when surviving. The mayor of GoodNeighbor is just as shocked and intrigued by how she’s survived this long.
Authors Note:
Hallo! This is a bit of an alternate universe fic where the sole survivor was cryogenically frozen, but not with their family. My character does not have a son or husband in this fic. The conditions and reasoning for the vault she was placed in will be revealed as the story progresses. I hope you enjoy it! I’m just having some fun writing about the beef jerky man. Yanno how it is. 💀
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The sound of gunshots could be heard in the distance as the girl dove behind a crumbled building.
Her hair was a mess, the dress she wore was tattered and dirty. Her face stained with blood. She’d already forgotten what kill it came from. Her legs littered with cuts and bruises.
She huffed as she swung her rifle over the crumbled wall and took aim at a raider in the distance.
Her shot rang out loud, and the raider’s body flew back and onto the floor now missing his head. Now she could continue her journey in peace.
This was Bonnie’s 3rd week in the wasteland since she left the vault she awoke from cryogenisis in.
Her mind was more jumbled than she felt it should have been. Having no recollection of much. Some stuff was coming back in pieces. She remembered the ongoing war.
But that’s when things get hazy. She never even remembered entering the vault or the bombs dropping. Or where her family was. If they entered with her. Documents in the vault provided no help. There were just dead bodies. Luckily there were weapons.
But The biggest question she had was why she was still alive. All the other pods failed.
Yet here she was. A woman who looked like she had stepped out of a pre-war magazine. Her black wavy hair was now much more disheveled but still looked cleaner than most. Her skin, soft and smooth, with hardly any impurities. At least none that the wasteland could take credit for. No missing limbs. She stuck out like a sore thumb and so far it had proved to be a huge problem.
She learned quick not to trust just anyone.
As she walked she kept her guard up. Trying to stay out of sight for the most part. Some settlers she stayed with said there was a memory Den in the Goodneighbor settlement.
At first she assumed it was for drugs. But upon further explanation she realized it may just be a tool she needed to find out why her memories from just before the vault were so scrambled.
Her pip boy indicated the coordinations were close. She hummed to herself when she finally noticed a sign reading “ Good neighbor” and an arrow pointing toward a short alleyway.
Sure enough the bright neon sign came into view. She had made it. And it wasn’t a rumor.
She smiled to herself as she took a breath.
I’d do well to blend in and gain trust.
She thought to herself before observing her tattered dress. A forest green cocktail dress she found in her old home just outside the vault. It was better than the hospital-like gown she wore when she woke up.
She’d managed to strap some armor to her limbs for better protection. And pinned her hair up with stray Bobby pins. While she looked like she’d been through hell and back to someone from the old world, someone from the new world would know she had not been around on the surface very long.
She sighed. “ This will have to do.” She grumbled, knowing she was taking a risk with whatever kinds of people were in this town.
She knocked on the door. And after a moment the door opened down a small tunnel into a square.
It wasn’t as busy as she thought it would be.
She walked forward taking in the sights of a civilization that hadn’t totally crumbled. Shops. Shop keepers. People smoked as they carried on their business.
Like the world didn’t end.
“ Hey doll. You new to Goodneighbor?” A scruffy voice grumbled in front of her suddenly.
She hesitantly took a step back. “ Oh…” she stumbled her words.
“ You look like the kinda dame that could use insurance.” He grinned. “ Lucky for you, I happen to provide. So what do you say?”
“ Insurance?” Bonnie said in slight disbelief with a small scoff. “ Didn't think insurance would be worth anything now.” She commented.
“ You saying my services ain’t up to par?” He growled suddenly.
Bonnie tensed as her eyebrows narrowed. “ I never said that. You inferred it. I don’t want trouble. So I’ll just be on my way—“ she said, trying to step around him. Only for him to step into her path again.
“ Well maybe I want trouble.” He growled looking her up and down. The way he gazed over her sent a shiver down her spine.
“ Whoa Finn. That ain’t no way to treat a new guest.” A low voice sounded from the alleyway. She looked to see a man, lighting a cigarette as he exited the shadows.
His boots stomped against the pavement with Rhythm. His hat covered most of his face as he lit his cigarette. Bonnie noted he looked almost like a colonial soldier. It felt like he stood out more than her in that outfit.
As he finished lighting his cigarette he looked up and the hair on the back of her neck stood up.
“ Much less, A Lady.” He murmured as a cloud smoke drifted over his face.
His face.
It looked as if it was decaying. His eyes black as the void. No nose. Almost like a skeleton.
For a moment she cursed herself for entering.
What is this man? What is this place? Why was everyone reacting so normally to his appearance? He looks like the creatures I’ve had to kill just to get here.
Her thoughts rambled as he approached the man who was harassing her.
“ Knock it off with that extortion crap, Finn. This guest just got here. And you’re already mouthing off?”
Finn turned to him and scoffed. “ Fine. Just remember you won’t be mayor for long Hancock.”
Hancock chuckled as he eyed the young woman Finn was attempting to extort. He looked her up and down. She most definitely did not belong here.
“ Come on now. There’s no need to get so hostile.” He said with a grin turning back to Fin. He reached his arm to pat his shoulder. “ It’s me we’re talking about.”
Bonnie relaxed seeing this interaction was calming down.
A bit too soon, as she jumped back when Hancock pulled a knife out from behind him and stabbed Fin to death with no remorse or hesitation.
“ This wasn’t the first time I’ve told you to knock off that extortion crap.” He huffed. “ You’re breaking my heart.” He grumbled as he pulled his cigarette out of his mouth exhaling the smoke.
Slowly, he turned to the woman standing with a look of surprise on her face.
He grinned and stepped over Finn’s body holding his hand out.
“ Hello there, Miss. I apologize for this idiot’s behavior.” He chuckled. “ Welcome to Good Neighbor.”
She stared at him, unsure if she really could trust him.
She slowly extended her hand and shook his. His skin was rough. And his handshake firm.
“ I’m John Hancock.” He said with a smirk. “ The mayor of Goodneighbor. Who might you be?”
“ Someone who is shocked that a person up here still introduces themselves with words and not a weapon.” She laughed nervously.
The ghoul picked up on it and chuckled warmly. Attempting to tone down the theatrics a bit.
“ I’m .. Bonnie.” She said, offering a small smile.
“ Well, Bonnie. Sounds… and looks, like you aren’t from here. You a vault Dweller?” He asked, shoving one hand into his pocket while the other held his cigarette.
“ … I think so?” She said with a small shrug. “ That’s… a long story all on its own and it’s part of the reason I ended up here.” She attempted to explain. Her brow furrowed as she started to notice something wasn’t right.
Her stomach was turning and her head was pounding. The vision of the man before her was becoming blurry and slow.
Hancock tilted his head curiously. “ You uh… you okay? You’re looking a little.. pale…” he commented.
“ I’m fine..” she said breathlessly trying to stabilize her vision.
“ I just—“ she started to trail off as she slowly lost consciousness falling to the floor.
Hancock sprung to her aid, barely catching her in time. He knelt down, holding her over his knee, carefully.
“ Whoa there!” He said in concern. “ Hey you’re alright.. have you been hurt..? Damn it..” he murmured, looking her body over.
A shop keep rushing out to assist. “ If she ain’t from up here, I wouldn't doubt it’s the rads.” she commented.
Hancock nodded. “ Daisy, be a doll and bring some rad-away to the statehouse. Some food too. Let’s get our guest back on her feet.” He said as he stood up, holding bonnie’s body as he carried her inside.
He entered with the unconscious woman in his arms while his aid, Fahrenheit stared in confusion.
“ Who’s that?” she asked sitting up from the couch to allow Hancock to rest the stranger.
“ Still waiting to hear.” Hancock chuckled as he adjusted his hat. “ She came in, Finn attempted to extort her, and she passed out. Think it might just be rads.”
Fahrenheit scoffed. “ Well she already looks like the perfect target for some extortion… I thought all the vault dwellers were dead.” She chuckled taking a hit of her cigarette.
“ Well there’s a first time for everything, I guess.” Hancock murmured as he observed the woman. She was average height. Clear clean skin, only roughed up with some scratches and bruises. Most definitely from the wasteland.
More questions flooded his mind as he wondered where she came from, why she was here, and if she was from a vault, why leave it for this wasteland?
Daisy arrived with what Hancock ordered and helped inject the Rad-Away. As well as a stimpack. Within minutes the color started coming back to her face.
As her eyes slowly opened she stared directly up at the battered wooden ceiling. The room was stuffy. Her surroundings smelled like she was in an old museum of some sort. She could hear distant voices. And feel a draft.
She still felt dizzy as she tried to remember what she was doing.
“ Morning, Sunshine.” Hancock said sitting in the couch across from her.
She slowly sat up as she remembered everything. Her face slowly turned to meet his. The skeleton looking man who called himself Mayor.
“ What happened?” She asked, her guard raising back up. If he wanted to hurt her he could. She could see armed men standing just outside the office. So there was no true escape.
“ Seemed to just be some radiation poisoning. But no worries. Daisy fixed you all up.” he said with a warm smile.
“ Oh…” She murmured. “ Daisy?” She asked.
“ A shop keep. She brought you some food and water as well” He said nonchalantly gesturing to a plate of noodles and a can of clean water.
“ Now, where were we… Oh right…” he snapped his fingers as he remembered, sitting up with curiosity.
“ so What’s your story?” he asked with a small grin.
“ You're clearly not from the surface.” he chuckled. “ That makes you mighty vulnerable. And If I’m honest I'm shocked you’ve made it this long.”
“ You and me both.” She scoffed and sighed. She met his gaze again before looking away.
Hancock raised an eyebrow staring at her in silence for a few seconds. Each second felt like an eternity for her. Wondering if he was going to lunge at her like the other creatures in the wasteland.
“ You scared?” he suddenly asked softly and stood up.
She looked up and watched him walk around the coffee table to stand directly in front of her, bending down to meet her at eye level.
The hair on the back of her neck stood up, and her blood ran cold.
“ I’d imagine someone like you has never met a ghoul before.” He chuckled.
She stayed silent and simply shook her head.
“ I won’t hurt you. I’m just like you.” He explained slowly before reaching for her hand and slowly bringing it to his chest.
Her heart pounded faster with fear. As her hand touched the fabric of his shirt, she swallowed her nerves to keep calm.
“ you feel that?” He asked softly.
She stared up into his black eyes for a moment before her focus narrowed in on his chest. His heart beat against her hand, just as hers. But definitely more steady.
“ my heart beats just as yours does.” He said gently before taking a breath. “Ive got a good idea what you’ve had to face up here, we all do…. But I won’t hurt ya.”
His black eyes stared at her with a kindness she would have never expected.
“You got my word.”
He said releasing her hand and sitting beside her on the couch, leaning against the back of it, and extending his arms in a relaxed position.
“ So, take all the time you need. And maybe there’s a way we can help you out here.” he said in a gentle and genuine tone.

UHH- hello! I been a fan of your writing for a while, and since i noticed your requests are currently open, i though i might aswell try to request something.
So, i would like to request a headcanon of South Park Pip, Gregory and Wendy(i'm not quite sure of your limit of characters per request, so i'll stick to these three. In any case this might be too much it can be just Pip) with a s/o who showers them in big theatrical romantic gestures(such as dedicating plays to them, singing romantic ballads outside their window, going down on one knee in public and just professing her undying love for them etc). 🎭
Hi! I'm glad you like what I'm writing! I hope these headcanons turned out no worse
Headcanons Theatrical romance
📚 Wendy Testaburger x Reader 📱
Wendy realized that the relationship with you would be bright even at the moment of your declaration of love to her. You did it at school by asking her to meet you at the gym. There was no one there and you got down on one knee in front of her, after which you read her a romantic poem of your own, in which you confessed your feelings to her. It was only a little later that she found out that you originally planned to confess to her in front of the whole school, but then changed your mind, not wanting to put public pressure on her
You didn't hide your feelings towards Wendy even when you were in public and your ways of showing them to her were full of theatrics. You could sing her a love ballad under the window in the evening, when you were sure that she was at home, confessed your eternal love to her at school. Wendy was pleased to receive such romantic attentions, even though sometimes it seemed to her that you were overdoing it with theatrical romance
You often staged school plays. Perhaps it was because of your love of the theater that your displays of feeling resembled participation in a theatrical production. Your plays were dedicated to Wendy, which you didn't hesitate to talk about before the plays began. She was your muse, the one who inspired you to create and you didn't hide it from her
Wendy loved what you did for her. Bebe often told her that you were like a character from a romantic movie and Wendy never denied it. You were able to show your feelings beautifully, even though sometimes you overdid the theatrics
🗡 Gregory of Yardale x Reader ⛸️
When Gregory started studying at a new school, he met you. You studied with him in the same class and often staged school plays. You really liked the theater and Gregory realized how strong this love was when you started dating, because very often your manifestations of feelings for him were filled with theatricality
You dedicated every theatrical production to Gregory. You always changed the original scripts of the plays a little to make them more lively and spending time with Gregory inspired you. You openly talked about who made this or that play appear on the stage, and every time you talked about Gregory, who gave you the very inspiration that you sometimes missed so much
You often showed your feelings for Gregory in a variety of ways. You could sing a love ballad under his window, you could get down on one knee in front of him to read him a love poem or kiss his hand. You didn't hesitate to confess your eternal love to him, and Gregory always returned the favor, unable to restrain a smile
Gregory has often shown you his feelings too. His displays of affection weren't as theatrical as yours, but his displays of love were full of romance. You understood each other's feelings perfectly and were good at showing them to each other
🇬🇧 Pip Pirrup x Reader 🎀
In the eyes of your classmates, both you and Pip were strange, albeit for different reasons. You stood out among your classmates because of your love of the theater. You often staged theatrical productions at school, where your classmates had to go, and Pip was the one who genuinely liked these productions. And you genuinely liked Pip. You dated and you didn't hide your relationship or your feelings for Pip
You often told him about your eternal love, regardless of whether you were on a date, at school, or just spending time together at home. You weren't shy about other people, and when someone said something unpleasant about your relationship, you were like a knight, ready to defend Pip and your relationship. Several times you sang romantic ballads under his windows, which greatly embarrassed him
Another manifestation of your feelings were your performances in the theater. You've always dedicated them to him, ever since the moment you fell in love with him. Pip was embarrassed to feel the eyes of others on him, but he smiled at you anyway. The fact that you dedicated productions to him warmed his heart and made him smile sincerely, which no amount of embarrassment could hide
You were happy together, despite the giggles from your classmates. He genuinely liked your theatrical displays of affection for Pip. He didn't dare to show so openly how much he liked you, but you knew that your feelings were mutual and that was enough for you

Pip: “…I know you will never think so, but I have always hoped that in another life, you had ran away with me that night.”
Hunter: “…”
Pip: “We could have actually been finally free from this gilded birdcage.”
So I’ve never actually posted anything deeper into how Hunter and Pip think about each other/ their dynamic other than silly sibling dynamic but it’s actually a lot more interesting than that.
Pip and Hunter actually have a complicated relationship that somewhat is like funhouse mirror on what Philip and Caleb may have been like as they both flip flop between the two roles but ironically Hunter predominantly takes Philip’s role while Pip takes Caleb’s. Which uh caused a lot of disagreements.
In the au canon, they see themselves as actually being siblings rather than cousins because the fake story that Belos made is a lot different from the og canon of the show.
So rather than being Belos’s nephews like how Hunter is in the show, instead they are his actual children that he had with a human when he supposedly visited the human realm. This is what Hunter believes is the reason why he has no magic but pointed ears and why Pip thinks he has magic but round ears.
The story that Belos created in order to explain why their mum mysteriously missing is that a group of wild witches killed her and the rest of their family. It’s also the fake explanation for how both Pip and Belos got cursed.
This also adds credence to why Belos hates wild witches to the public and why the day of unity is so important because they’ve all been told it’s going to properly unite the human realm and the demon realm.
I also find it much more interesting that instead of Hunter just knowing that his “family” died in a mysterious way like in the show canon that instead Belos actually created an extremely detailed false family history so those two wouldn’t go snooping around searching for any missing details
it makes it even more fucked up when these two later learn that everything was a lie because to further solidify the illusion Belos even implanted false memories so uh these definitely two struggle with the consequences of figuring that out.
But yeah properly onto Pip and Hunter, both of them were basically inseparable as little kids but ended up drifting apart because Hunter had started working as the Golden guard and Pip was too young to help out (and also Belos didn’t want to have to go through the long and tedious process of cloning himself again) so Pip was often left behind bored and alone.
This boredom has consequences because when exploring the castle Pip found out about something he really shouldn’t have…He inadvertently ended meeting the collector who was also really bored and wanted to play with someone who’s not old and boring like Belos. Uh safe to say Pip straight up almost died when Belos walked in on him and the collector chatting about titans.
Hunter also ended up eventually getting involved to try and protect Pip but ended up getting that wound across his cheek. They obviously both survived but they were both punished by not being allowed to use healing magic on their wounds and to be locked in their rooms for the foreseeable future.
Pip sneaks out and attempts to convince Hunter to escape the castle and run away because it’s not the first time they’ve been almost killed for a mistake but Hunter believes that they had both deserved it for disobeying authority and refuses to come with Pip.
Pip just ends up escaping by sneaking on to an airship but almost gets caught by Belos but just escapes in the nick of time with just a scratch across his thigh. Luckily the airship was being piloted Lilith who had no idea that there was a stowaway onboard as she was too busy planing on how to finally convince Eda to join the emperor’s coven.
Oh yeah Eda straight up slams the door in Lilith’s face and tells Hooty to eat any intruders, Pip sneaks out of the airship as it’s about to leave and while trying to get a grasp of his surroundings, Hooty sees him and its on sight. Eda saves him and ends up with a new roommate along side King and Hooty and patches him up because she felt bad for the little guy.
I’ll talk about Hunter and Pip’s familial relationship in the modern times in another post as this one got really long TwT
But yeah that’s the origin to this post of small Pip and why him and Hunter have bad blood until they met again like 7 years later.

The Acolyte - Lost/Found and Revenge/Justice Thoughts
"The Jedi live in a dream. A dream they believe everyone shares. If you attack a Jedi with a weapon, you will fail. Steel or laser are no threat to them. But an Acolyte...An Acolyte kills without a weapon. An Acolyte... kills the dream." Stranger Dark Side user

I totally guessed that Indara would bite the dust based on how little we saw her in the trailers.
While Mae is cruel for her goal, she isn’t heartless when she spares the bartender after she sees his kid.
I'm so glad the Neimodian voices are not the racist accents from the PT in this show (though I will admit after hearing those voices for so long and in the iconic memes, it feels weird to hear non-racist voices...but nonetheless it's very good it's not present). I applaud Lucasfilm for doing this. Also my shameless advertising of Brotherhood, that book did a lot of justice to the Neimodian race. It's also just an amazing SW novel in general.
I love Sol and Osha a lot. Sol (played by Lee Jung-jae who did an amazing job at portraying Sol, he even learned English for the show! I'm so happy to see a great Korean Jedi Master. I feel represented and it's a great feeling) truly represents the best of the Jedi and is clearly disturbed by the direction of the Jedi Order's current path. I also like how Osha despite no longer being a Jedi still holds out for the best of them. Her funny banter with Pip also gives her some levity in an otherwise dark story.
Yord represents the dogma of the future PT Jedi Order while Jecki represents the emotion suppression of the PT Jedi. However, I like how the two just like Sol quickly caught on that Mae is definitely alive and is doing the crimes when Sol told them about her.
The Polan is such an amazing ship design and I love the Hyperspace ring-based craft that carried it.
I very much appreciate that Sol believed her rather even hesitating for a moment. It shows how much Sol is different from the other Jedi who were more ready to place judgment on Osha.
We also see the beginnings of the Jedi Order of the HR Era to the PT Era with the Jedi becoming concerned with emotions leading to attachment (ironically missing the point that emotions can also make people stronger through their bonds but they must make sure emotions don't lead to attachment) and their reputation to the greater public. Even visually, the Jedi Temple of the HR Era is shown to be much higher than the Temple in the PT Era where the levels of Coruscant expanded upwards kinda pulling the Jedi down.
The production value behind this show is simply incredible. All the practical sets and on-site location shooting are present. I love seeing the diverse array of aliens in this show including a Zygerrian Jedi (we also got a prominent one in the HR Era comics as well). As much as I love Andor a lot, I will admit that the lack of aliens in that show is noticeable.
I also absolutely love the Dark Side figurer's speech to the Acolyte at the end of the episode.

I really like how Sol is concerned about Osha falling to a dark side. With what is implied with Torbin's vague last statement, there's something bigger with Sol's concerns for Osha and desire to help Mae beyond failing them both.
Qimir is a squirmy little vendor. I feel there might be more to the guy than we think.
Master Torbin killing himself was one of the most unexpected dark turns I didn't see coming. I get a feeling the four Jedi might've been involved in the destruction of the Aniesya twins family although I highly doubt they were personally involved in the destruction but might've accidentally led to it.
I also love how the HR Jedi that Mae targets never attack her (except for Indura who decided to finally use her Lightsaber). The entire time Sol was fitting Mae he was more focused on asking her and disarming her weapons. A true Jedi never attacks first but to disarm and to try to prevent a conflict by non-violent means first.
Also very interesting that Mae didn't know Osha was alive. It's going to be quite an interesting conversation between Mae and her master when they reunite. That look when Mae finally sees her sister alive is amazing acting (you almost forget that they're portrayed by the same person which is how great Amandla Stenberg, Osha and Mae's actress, is).
I can't wait to figure out what's Kelnacca's deal next week.
The music done by Michael Abels is phenomenal and I cannot wait to analyze more into the score once the soundtrack comes out.
Overall, I really love this show. Leslye Headland and her team absolutely cooked and I need to talk more about the mysterious Dark Side figure's speech and how it related to their plan in the show.
