Sephiroth x Fem!Reader, Kingdom Hearts/Final Fantasy VII crossover

(This is my first fanfic on my board so I’ll do my best)

It was nighttime on Destiny Islands. And what a beautiful night it was. The stars were out and twinkling and there was a gentle warm breeze.

(Y/N) was sitting on her front porch waiting for her little boy to come home. He had been on the other island with his friend for most of the day. Then, coming down the dirt road, she sees the two of them.

“See you tomorrow, Riku!” one of them said.

“Okay, Sora,” Riku said waving goodbye.

After they parted ways, Riku ran towards his house and was met with his mother’s embrace.

“Welcome home, sweetie.” (Y/N) said before kissing her son’s forehead. “Did you have fun today?”

“I sure did, Mom!” Riku beams. “Sora and I had a race on the beach!”

(Y/N) smiles and pats him gently on the head. She then says that it was getting late and that Riku must be tired.

She changed him into his pjs. A white shirt with a blue crescent moon in the middle and fuzzy dark blue pants patterned with stars.

Riku climbed into his bed and his mother tucked him in.

“Goodnight, honey.” (Y/N) whispered before kissing Riku on the forehead.

But she had only reached the door when her little boy spoke up.

“Um… Mom?”

(Y/N) turned around to see Riku sitting up.

“What is it, Riku?”

It was only a moment before Riku spoke again.

“What was Dad like?”

(Y/N) froze in her tracks but quickly snapped out of it.

“Why, where is this coming from?” she asked kneeling beside him.

“I don’t know.” Riku shrugged. “I’m just curious.”

(Y/N) wasn’t sure what to say because of an old promise she made. But she figured it would be okay to give him some information.

“Well, your father was a strong, kind and handsome man. He was a soldier.”

“Really?!” Riku exclaimed.

“Yes. Of course” (Y/N) giggled. “And you know what? You look so much like him.”

Riku beamed brightly. He wanted to know more about his father but his mother said it was late and he needed sleep.

“Goodnight, Riku.” (Y/N) whispered as she walked out the door.

“Goodnight, Mom.” Riku whispered back.

(Y/N) took one more peek at her sleeping son before gently closing the door.

~4 years, 6 months ago~

At the Junon Harbor, (Y/N) had just arrived with her sleeping six month old child wrapped in a blue blanket. She had the message she got the night before in mind.

“Come to Junon. I have to talk to you. It’s important. And bring Riku.”

One she got to the base of the harbor, she sees a tall man with long silver hair that waved in the gentle breeze and holding a long katana.

“Sephiroth!” (Y/N) exclaimed. “Were you the one who sent me that message?”

Sephiroth turned to her, revealing his bright green eyes with the slit pupils. He takes a few steps closer to her and looks down at Riku. He smiles for a brief moment but regains focus.

“(Y/N). I’m afraid I can no longer keep you and our son safe in Midgar.” He said.

“What do you mean?” (Y/N) asked completely stunned.

“I’ve heard that one of the Turks had been spying on you. And if Hojo finds Riku, there’s no telling what he’ll do to him.”

(Y/N) looks down at Riku still sleeping in her arms with worry. She hadn’t met Prof. Hojo, but she had heard rumors about him.

“W-what can we do?!” (Y/N) cried.

“I’m afraid there’s no choice but for you to take Riku somewhere Shinra will never find him.” Sephiroth said sadly.

“B-but”

But Sephiroth puts a hand on her shoulder and assured her that it was for the best. He led her to a small vessel. He says it would take her and Riku to an uncharted group of islands very few people knew about.

“Before you depart, you must promise me one thing.” Sephiroth said. “You must never let Riku know that I’m his father.”

(Y/N)’s heart sunk at those words. But if it meant that Riku would be kept safe, she promised. With that, she and Sephiroth shared their last kiss before she boarded onto the ship and it pulled out of the harbor.

(Y/N) watched as Sephiroth’s figure slowly disappeared in the mist. She then turned her attention to little Riku who was just waking up, revealing sparkling blue eyes.

“Don’t worry, my baby. I promise to keep you safe from harm no matter what.”

2. Do you have a personal favorite among your OCs?

Personal favorite is often shown in the one I draw the most lol, which for a long time was Danielle LWW, but just because she was also my wolfsona at the time. After I made my own personal one I think I went onto Sam for a good while, also eventually going to Dany from Bsd!

So a tie between two beautiful girls, Sam is definitely my favorite LWW Oc, she is just precious and the one I hold the most and most always feel terrible and bad when I put her through it TM. 

Also Dany is my self insert, U//w//U, she has definitely allowed me to slowly self love and allow me to appreciate myself, especially the parts of me I didn’t think to much about or consider so appealing, I think? She has definitely been changing gradually into more of myself since I first came up with her almost 2 years ago! Watch me slowly knock her down to my height of 4′9″, let her have her 3 inches for another year maybe lol.

While SoraYama may have been the OG Couple in my story, my love and warmth for TakaSam is unmatched TwT.

It is wild cause I always draw anguish between them as could-have-been-lovers-had-it-not-been-for-death, but recently been drawing them purely happy and content. Total sweethearts, the love everyone wants, excluding possibility of being old friends or not!

19. Introduce an OC that means a lot to you (and explain why)

Definitely Darkwolfmon! I am sure I explained in the first question why, but again I consider her to be that other half of me, the part of me I never discovered or the parts that essentially fill in the gaps within me. She is my precious partner Digimon and has honestly come a long, long way since I first created her. I believe sometime in 2009-2010, so almost 11-12 years since. She was the first ever OC of mine and is one I hold closest too in my heart.

For the longest time, even too now, I have always wanted her to just manifest at my side. Go on this journey of life together. While she might not be physically here like my child-self would want, she is still in my stories, my imagination, my inspirational drive. I think that is definitely more than enough, I don't know where or who I would be without having created her. I probably wouldn’t have a whole tale of OC’s and stories to tell if it wasn't for her. 

I am more than grateful and thankful that I am who I am because of this lovely Oc of mine. I can only hope to have her at my side for the rest of my days!

20. Do any of your OCs sing? If they sing, care to share more details (headcanon voice, what kind of songs they like etc)?

Most, if not all, my OC’s can sing! Their voices and tones vary, to which I cannot give a straight answer on how I headcanon most of their voices right now ^^; I will say that Danielle has a British accent to her voice as well as Spanish speak, and Sora has a Russian accent to her voice, so may be just lightly deep, but not to much.

I will definitely go with my Bsd Oc/Self Insert Danielle Mika Mason, however! Because I have gone and done a thing on how she would speak in her Japanese and English Dub! Other than me also being her voice, her Japanese VA would be Yui Ishikawa, same VA of the queen herself, Mikasa 💕 English VA would be Barrett Wilbert Weed, with an English accent, good Veronica from the Heathers! You can have a listen to her here in this post! 

Dany is meek when it comes to her singing, she will often be caught humming and softly singing something, but quickly tends to stop around others. She is often back and forth with how she sounds and often shuts down when she hears someone she considers better than her. She just needs some encouragement and a gentle push from someone she really cares about. When she does feel the push and genuineness from someone she will sing her heart out. But of course prefers to sing for only that one special person~ can ya guess~ 🐯

31.  Pick one OC of yours and explain what their tumblr blog would be like (what they reblog, layout, anything really).

Oh boi! I literally have moodboards to add to this! I pick Samantha, or Sam! 

She would totes have a Tumblr blog, and Instagram! You always look forward to see what she post and just feel an instant calmness and warmth when you see it! She is always tagging her things appropriately, a soft and warm spring like layout that is shades of yellows, golds, orange, white; an occasional blue and teal as well! She would reblog anything of her aesthetic, golds, yellows, dance and ballet related things (may even post videos or poses of herself in practice and dance related things), cafe shops, sweets and desserts, warm night lights, cats, lots and lots of cats and felines of all shapes and sizes! Her best friend/boyfriend, Takaru always cameos in her stories and posts 💖

She would also reblog or spread awareness of any issues happening in the world, marking them and making her own voice heard as well. In spur moments, you may see her not tag things, but will likely go back to name things accordingly. She would also reblog anything of Bi Pride too!

28. Your most dangerous OC? 

Hmmm,,, my most dangerous Oc, I am taking the notion that they are just plain dangerous and likely of evil intent in their actions. Because plenty of my Oc’s on their own are dangerous in their own right, such as the Legendary Wolf Warriors, who have a great power at their paws. They can be destructive in their actions if they lose control or use it for the wrong intentions, which they wouldn't do of their free will. 

I will say Danielle and Sam are the strongest of the seven, because of their powers of Darkness and Light, respectively. Their souls created the others, so the other Warrior’s power does not match theirs. They can definitely be lethal together if used for the wrong reasons or if they are under the control of a Human or Deadly Sin.

Which leads me to say that the most dangerous of my OC’s with the worst intentions and evil thought processes that makes them dangerous is likely the Deadly Soul Sin Pride, or Mikka Penelope King/Pride as her solid name goes. 

She is definitely the most sinister of the seven sins, even worse than Wrath, who you may figure would be the worst. She has a calculating mind and is very precise in her actions and ways of manipulation. She has a poison within her veins that is just as deadly, capable of blinding others or even killing without remorse or care. While she may be a ghost like entity in my stories, a person/digimon holder in my Digimon College Au, she has enough power to influence people to fall under pride and vanity in the most dangerous level possible, heck even possess them if she wishes. That makes her stronger, as well as the other sins. Does not matter if she is dead or fades away for a while, her influence remains and if it does, than she can exist for a long as she desires.

48. OC who is a perfect cinnamon roll, too good for this world, too pure

Lol I saw cinnamon roll and instantly had a list of ocs ready, honestly any child OC I have is instantly a cinnamon roll and to good and put for this world, please treat them all kindly!

Current top Oc’s that come to mind are Haruko Mason-Nakajima, along with their nameless sister/pup! They are the sweetest babies ever and love them so much. Too good and pure, especially nameless pup with her love for tigers; she wants to grow up and be like her sibling and papa 🥺🥰  You can see the post on them here!

Next up is my precious flamey boi named Alik Azure Mizuhara! A next gen. LWW, son of Sora and Yamato! A little sightless boi with the softest heart and warmest empathy for others. Very much like his mother in likeness and pure curiosity of the world’s secrets and tales. His father worries for him a lot, but gradually learns to trust in his ability to guide himself. Don’t worry too much about him, he is very smart and knows how to care and guide himself!

So, a followup of my previous analysis of the Arknights because I finally got Sora from the shop! You might be thinking, what does an aidoru have to do with a private military company managed by a penguin rapper? I believe, for the people in Terra, the real question is “why not?”

Spells need chanting to activate, a common trope of fantasy works. This is why a lot of casters have “Tactical Chant” as the initial skill, though it’s more clear in 4-10, when FrostNova and FrostLeaf duel while singing/chanting their spells, and Lava’s profile wonders if her proficiency with magic exists due to her music lessons. So, if you’re good at singing, you’re good at magic.

Even non-combatants are good with arts. A bit of spoiler (but not relevant to the main story spoilers), but if you complete the second extra stage of the recent event, you get a cutscene with D.D.D. commenting with her manager that her Arts almost caused a blackout in a presentation - the implication is that the special effects and sound engineering rely a lot on Arts, on magic, another indication that a lot of their technology resembles ours in a superficial level only.

This really says a few things about the culture of Terra, and how it revolves around Arts and originum. In military issues, the arms race is related not only on ‘who produces the best weapons’ but also ‘who produces/trains the best Arts users’. A single powerful Arts user can decimate entire armies. That’s what makes Talulah so powerful of an antagonist.

And this means some bureaucrats decided that the best chance at producing better soldiers is to train them from the crib - Frostleaf says she learned how to use her halberd before learning how to read. And these bureaucrats must have said “Why stop there?”, and leading to development of engineered people, homunculii, and it’s implied to be Ifrit’s case (and a character that shows up in the CN server is confirmed to be one). And these bureaucrats probably said “Why stop there? If we infect 1000 people, at least 20 of them will be able to shoot magical beams!” (not confirmed it happened, but would it be surprising if it did?)

Given how easy artists and scientists can become soldiers and how there are a lot child soldiers amongst the operators (though some just look young because of the art style, Kroos, Beagle and Eyja must be in their mid-20s), war must be a normalized thing in the culture of Terra. Nobody bats an eye to RI’s pharmaceutical/military activities, they’re more concerned about the amount of Infected they’re housing. Mercenaries have social media profiles and nobody bats an eye when RI is taking vacations in Siesta.

If we take parallels with real life, the world of Terra seems to be both a world where the Age of Heroes never truly ended and its geopolitics has some similarly to the Early Modern Period (1500-1750AD), obviously tempered by other periods (like the French and the Soviet Revolutions, and the Cold War).

When I say Age of Heroes, I consider the focus of armies to be on a legion of commoners supporting one or a few “hero” units - they still have their Herculeses, Arjunas and Gilgameshes (obvious FGO reference) -, whose feats become legendary (in fact, one reason why RI must be treated with respect is the amount of 6 stars they have in ranks). But even this is ending, with the Knights of Kazimierz being just a fancy club for fancy titleholders and the “last of w(spoilers for CN)”.

Again, it should be noted that nation-states are something relatively new in Terra, as the introduction of Siesta showed - they used to be city-states that became nation-states. The Empire of Ursus may have achieved stability earlier than others and, if correct, this is what caused its expansion.

For during most of our Middle Ages, the states relied on mercenary armies, that was the destination of the treasury resources, and there was no such thing as a national and professional army (there were national militias, though). In Terra, organizations such as Blacksteel, Penguin Logistics and even RI itself are important parts of its economic and political landscape.

Still, Terra is living through interesting times, and this is reason why aidorus are a coveted career for private military contractors.

After reading the Sora x Syobai, could you possibly do a continuation, based on what happens in chapter 4?

Wow, I never thought that someone will actually like the Sora x Syobai one-shot I wrote and want a continuation of it. I have to admit, but I was really, really excited to make a part 2, even though I had no idea what to write at first. Also, I just realised that I made this too long again and a bit cringey in my perspective. I think it’s obvious that I ship them😅. Also, to make this clear, I don’t know any dialogue in the 4th chapter’s trial and investigation. Again, sorry if there’s any typos or mistakes. It’s 2:30am right now and I can’t sleep. Anyways, I hope you enjoy!

Never leaving you (Syobai x Sora)

It’s been almost 3 months ever since they both became a thing. Those months have been fun for them. Sneaking away from the others just so they can spend time with each other without anyone noticing their constant meetings. It was nice.........while it lasted.

Unfortunately, everyone found out their secret relationship thanks to Rat Bitch Kanade.

Here’s how it went after their 3rd trial before the twins’ execution started.

“Oh, and I have one more thing to say!” Kanade points at the 2 grey-hairs.

“Get it on you two! I know you two have been sneaking away from us for the past few months just to do whatever you want with each other!”

Wow, they almost forgot that Kanade was there when their small incident happen. Actually, she was the one who caused it.

After the end of the whole trial, Yuki and Yoruko somewhat made a very small Sora protection squad with just the two of them. They were cornering Hashimoto while interrogating him if he ever forced Sora to take drugs or do something to her that made her uncomfortable. Even Yuki had the guts to threaten him that he’ll stab him with no regrets if he ever hurt her. Luckily, as the broker was praying internally for help and the white-hair pulling her two furious friends away from her boyfriend, Monocrow appears and told them to shut up because it was about to be nighttime.

Anyways, during those 3 months, it’s mostly them just teasing and pranking each other. Making most of their time while they’re still alive. Like that time Sora recorded Syobai singing in the shower. (I hc that he sings Wonderwall [if you’ve watched that video from his English voice actor] when no one’s around. Can’t change my mind)

Payback time, Syobai pretended to be high just so he can make Sora flustered. What happened there in his room? Don’t worry, they didn’t go that far other than taking off a shirt.

Back to the present time, everyone arrived at the 4th island. Just one step outside, they’re already freezing to death.

“W-What is t-this place?!” Shinji felt as if his hair started turning into ice.

“The 4th island of course!” Monocrow chirped.

“W-Why is this island so different from the others?! It’s so cold!” Yoruko covers her exposing arms with her fur scarf.

“Probably because someone changed the code.” And who would even change the code to turn this island to a frosty weather?

Sora rubs her hands on the scarf she agreed with Syobai to wrap around her exposed neck the other day for................some reasons that might’ve been mentioned.

She shot a glance at the broker beside her. He wasn’t shivering at all. He was just standing there while puffing out the smoke from his cigarette.

Sora shivers, “Y-You’re not cold at all?!”

Syobai shrugs, “Why would I be? It’s not that cold.”

What the?! Okay, how the hell is he not freezing cold in this weather?!

An idea popped inside Sora’s mind. This was definitely gonna be her revenge.

“Syobai-Oppa!” Sora cheerily calls for the broker’s attention.

Weirded out by the last word Sora called him, he raises an eyebrow, “Wha-“

With both hands, Sora grabs one of Syobai’s hands and brings it closer to her chest.

She started speaking in another language with the sweetest tone she could do and stares at him with loving eyes, “Salanghae(사랑해)”

Hashimoto freezes for a small moment. “Did it work?” Sora thought to herself.

Suddenly, Syobai face started turning red and he smashed his cigarette with his 2 fingers, “Stop teasing me! It’s not funny!”

Before Syobai could react, Sora cups his face with her hands, “Aww, you’re so warm! This feels so nice!” She smiles sweetly.

Syobai was startled and surprised, but he didn’t push her away or anything. He just lets her do what she’s doing. He thought it was adorable anyways.

As Sora finally lets go of his face, the merchant’s voice can be heard. As the voice gets louder, they realise that Teruya is running to them, “Syobai! Give me some of your warmth too!”

Heat mode: OFF

“Aaa! C-Cold!” The green-hair flinched as soon as he touches the broker’s cheek.

Standing somewhere near the library in the Babel tower, the broker holds a book reminding him of his childhood. Everything he had to go through, from having a family with a dog that died before his vacation with his parents, getting lost in a country with no one by his side, and doing all of those dirty works to get a living. Never experiencing the childhood he was supposed to have.

As he grows up, he just goes with the flow. He only believes that what happens will happen and he has to accept it. If it’s death, then he’ll accept it if he has no other choice.

Then, how come he doesn’t feel like dying anymore? Like he probably has something to live for? Was it really the girl he’s with-

Nah, he’s probably not feeling well or something. He didn’t change a single bit, aside from his status that is.

Well, he was amused by the fact that Sora showed worry for him when Teruya pointed a gun on Syobai’s head.

“Teruya! Stop this nonsense! I can’t let you kill him!”

This was the first time he saw Sora this worried for him. Heck, she even smacked his head and hugged him once they were alone for awhile.

“You almost killed yourself back there! Stop risking your life like that! You’re making me worried!!!”

He couldn’t really help but let out a small grin when she was lightly punching his chest. Adorable is what he thought.

Speaking of Sora, where is she? She was supposed to meet up with Syobai by now. Oh god, she better not be-

“A body has been discovered!”

Once he heard those exact words come out of the small television hanging on the walls, a heavy feeling started to fill inside of him. He doesn’t know why, but his instincts is telling him to go to the location where this body is discovered.

All of that went away when he saw the white-hair standing right in front of the victim’s body. Was he actually worried about Sora?

Putting all of his thoughts aside, he goes to Sora, “So, who died this time?”

Then, Sora handed Syobai the Monocrow File, “Shinji Kasai. Cause of death was burning from flames.” She looked away a little with an expression Syobai couldn’t point out, but from her body movements, she looked nervous? She doesn’t act like that during investigations. Did something happen?

Sora did shot a glance at him as she handed him the Monocrow File, but then, her attention diverted to Syobai. With a questioning look, she asks, “Did you run all the way here?”

“Huh?”

“You’re sweating.” Syobai touches his forehead. He really is sweating. Did he really run? If he did, he didn’t noticed it at all.

Putting that aside, he too starts to question Sora, “So, where were you when this took place?” Not because he was too worried or anything. He just needs her alibi when the murder took place. That’s all.

“This isn’t the most convincable alibi I have, but I was with Yoruko, then I went to the bathroom. After using the bathroom, I went back to Yoruko and we continued searching for more clues. Then, we met up with Yuki and we both went to the place where the crime was committed. That’s when the body discoverment announcement was heard.”

There’s a huge part of him that wants to believe her whole alibi, but he knows that there’s something wrong with it. He’s not gonna confront her now, but later in the trial room.

He goes to the other students and asks them for their alibis and continues to search other places inside and outside the murder scene. During his whole time investigating, he couldn’t put his focus on the investigation. He felt like there’s something bothering him that makes him feel somewhat depressed.

Know what? He’s going to finally admit he’s praying to God that Sora has no involvement in this case at all.

His prayers did not come true and his gut feeling was correct. Sora was lying about her alibi. Apparently, she didn’t go to the bathroom, she was actually in the crime scene tampering all of the evidence to prevent Yuki from becoming the blackened.

When Sora revealed the truth of where she was and what she was doing during the time of the murder, for the first time, Syobai looked surprised and shocked. Was she gonna be the blackened? That thought actually made the grey-haired man have his heart pumping so fast.

He could actually see Sora feeling so ashamed about it. He tries to focus on the trial, but he didn’t until people started suspecting that this case was a suicide. All of that emotions were gone after that.

After the trial ended, he decided to leave early to calm himself down and to study something about Sora. From all the times they’ve been together and know each other, he became curious and started studying more about a certain former student from Hope’s Peak. He just needed to check one last thing.

After Sora met up with Teruya to discuss some things, she walks in front of the broker’s room and takes a shaky deep breath. She was really unsure if what happened back in the trial affected their reatlationship or his perspective of her. God, she couldn’t breath properly.

Sora knocks on the door, “Syo-“

Before she could say his name, she was pulled into the room. Next thing she knew, she was in a very tight hug with the broker. No seriously, she could barely breath in that hug.

Syobai lets go of her and he held her arms tightly, “Why did you do that?! Becoming a blackened for a guy when you knew that you’re going to die! Didn’t you know that?! Didn’t you know how I felt the whole trial?! I was so fucking worried about you the whole time!“

As Syobai kept ranting on, Sora didn’t feel scared or angry at him back. Actually, she felt amused and surprised. She could see on his face that he was about to break down emotionally. This is really new to see with him.

His voice, she thought she heard a different emotion when he mentioned Yuki. Was he jealous of him? Is he scared for her? Because if he is, she didn’t want to make him feel so burdened.

Syobai stopped ranting and without thinking, he pulled Sora closer and gives her a strong and passionate kiss on the lips.

Sora froze when he did this. He’s acting so different today, but it wasn’t a bad kind of different or anything. She finally gets to witness this side of Syobai which she finds very sweet of him.

After they both pulled away, Sora hugs Hashimoto, places her head closer to his chest and she gently says, “I’m really sorry for making you feel like this. I never realised how much you care about me.”

Sora lets out a small smirk without looking up at the broker, “Looks like the tables has turned.”

Syobai quietly laughs under his breath as he realises that it’s true. So much has changed in him. He didn’t really knew how, but he knows it was definitely Sora who caused it.

“Just don’t fucking leave me and understand how much I fucking love you.” He quietly mumbles those last words, wishing that the white-hair didn’t hear it.

Unfortunately, Sora actually heard it, but she laughed, looked at him with a large grin, “Aww, love you too and of course I’m never gonna leave you. Not now, not here.”

A wave of gladness washed over him as soon as she said those words. That’s all he wanted to hear. He really thought of her as an important person in his life now.

Even though he told himself not to get attached to anyone and to accept the fact that he will lose people on his path in life, he did get attached to someone and he’s not ready to give them up to death or to anything. He has time and he’s willing to spend it on her now.

Top 10 (Slightly Revised) Smash Ultimate - Fighters Pass Predictions

Keep in mind, these are fighters I personally want in Smash Ultimate. With the surprise reveal of Joker, and that he’ll be joining the roster soon with only a month away, anything is possible at this point. Also, Mii Costumes and Spirits usually does not mean a fighter is de-confirmed. For example, Mario is a fighter and he has multiple Spirits of himself from other Mario games. This will be a slightly lengthy list, so I’ll put a cut underneath.

Rex & Pyra/Mythra - Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Unfortunately they did not make it into the final roster as Smash Ultimate’s development period was around the time Xenoblade 2 released in December 2017, and Smash Ultimate released the next year. As compensation, we got a Mii Fighter costume of Rex if we pre-purchased the Fighters Pass DLC for free. I still have hope for Rex being in Smash. Some people say they want Pyra & Mythra as solo fighters, I have to disagree on that. They share their life-force with Rex, and without him as the Driver, they’re not at full strength, even if they are the Aegises. I COULD see Mythra as a solo fighter, should Sakurai and his team choose to use her Torna iteration. For their special attacks and Final Smash, here’s what I got: Sword Bash in Neutral-B, Rolling Smash is Side-B, Double Spinning Edge is Up-B akin to Link’s Spin Attack, and Down-B can be Blade Switch by changing between Pyra or Mythra respectively. For Rex’s Grab, it can be Anchor Shot akin to Young/Toon Link’s Hookshot, and it can also work as a tether-grab on ledges. For their Final Smash, it can be something like how Ryu and Ken have a 2-in-one Final Smash; Chain Attack - Burning Sword (Pyra), and Chain Attack - Sacred Arrow (Mythra). Rex call upon either Nia & Dromarch, Tora & Poppi, Mòrag & Brighid, and/or Zeke & Pandoria. They let their Blades go all out with the Special Attacks, and Rex deals the finishing blow with Pyra or Mythra using either of their respective Level 4 Special Attack.

Elma - Xenoblade Chronicles X Elma is one of many highly requested fighters to be in Smash, especially during the Fighter Ballot back in 2016 for Smash 4. Even if Elma doesn’t make, I can see the avatar, Cross, be in it. Elma’s moveset can be directly pulled from her origin game, and from Xenoblade 2: Neutral-B is Stream Edge, Side-B is Sliding Slinger, Up-B is Shadow Strike, and Down-B is Ghost Factory as counter akin to Lucario’s Double Team. For her Final Smash, it can be call Full Metal Jaguar Overdrive: This can be similar to Shulk’s Chain Attack in a way. Elma activates Overdrive, then splits clones of herself with Ghost Factory like in her boss fight from Xenoblade 2. Elma and her clones then go all out using moves like Violent Streak, Executioner, Electric Surge, Hundred Shells, and the original Elma finishes the attack with her signature Art being Shadow Strike. For a special aesthetic, one of Elma’s alternate costumes can be her True Form, where she’s actually one of the mysterious peaceful aliens trying to protect humanity from the Ganglion Alliance.

Kazuma Kiryu - Yakuza series I know what some of you might be thinking; “But Kiryu has never been on a Nintendo console before!” This is where I say, not true! The first two Yakuza games had HD ports on the Wii U. Sales didn’t do so well though.... But that’s okay! If we can get characters like Bayonetta and Joker, why not Kiryu? For Kiryu’s fighting style taken straight from 0 and Kiwami 1 & 2, he has Brawler, Rush, Beast, and Dragon of Dojima. For most of his standard and aerial attacks, Kiryu can use both Brawler and DoD styles. When dodging, that’s where Rush Style comes in. For his grab attacks and throws, Beast Style is in play. So all in all, Kiryu will mainly be using Dragon of Dojima with hints of his other 3 fighting styles mixed into one, just like in Kiwami 2 and onward. I’m not entirely sure what his B-specials can be like, but they’ll be something straight out of his DoD style. For example, his Down-B can be the Tiger Drop as a counterattack, where Kiryu gut-punches foes causing them to be stunned, similar to Ryu & Ken’s Focus Attack. For his Final Smash, Kiryu goes into Extreme Heat, unleashing powerful Heat Action attacks on anyone that gets in his way. The finisher is using his signature high kick, causing foes to be sent flying. A Kiwami symbol (極) will appear as an aesthetic when the Final Smash is finished.

Byleth - Fire Emblem: Three Houses With FE: 3 Houses recently announced and coming to Nintendo Switch soon, it won’t be a surprise if yet another FE avatar makes it into the roster alongside Robin and Corrin. Corrin especially since both them and Roy were originally put into Smash to promote both of their respective origin games. Roy being The Binding Blade, and Corrin being Fates of course. Robin, Corrin, and Byleth. Wouldn’t that be amazing? As of making this list, we don’t know much of Byleth other than they can use swords and have mysterious powers in Three Houses and how that’ll be incorporated into Smash Ultimate, but I have a feeling they’ll be an original FE fighter much like Robin & Corrin. Robin using their tomes & Levin Sword, Corrin wielding the Omega Yato & using their Dragon Fang ability, so I’m curious and I’d like to see what Byleth could bring to the table.

Shantae - Shantae series Reminder once again, Spirits don’t usually de-confirm fighters. In Smash Ultimate, Shantae & Risky’s Spirits are represented in their Half-Genie Hero appearances & design. So what I’m thinking is that we can bring in the “recent” Shantae iteration from one of her more popular games being The Pirate’s Curse. Shantae’s Smash design can be a mix of all of her past and present iterations, like her vest from PC. All of Shantae’s attacks can derive from all of her games. She can use her magic, and use other means of weapons & attacks from Pirate’s Curse. Shantae can be slightly similar to Robin, and how they use swords & magic. Like she can use her signature Hair Whip attack on the ground, shoot magic fireballs or use a flintlock pistol for projectile attacks, and use a pirate cutlass for her aerial attacks. She can even use moves like Power, Drill & Uppercut Kicks. Her dodge can even come from her notable Backdash. Her most iconic magical bellydances can be her special attacks, and her taunts. Shantae’s Final Smash can be something like unleashing powerful Genie Magic via her magic bellydancing.

Phoenix Wright - Ace Attorney series & VS. Capcom series I mean, c’mon now. We gotta have another joke-fighter in Smash. Nick works as a joke fighter in the VS. Capcom games because most of his moves are taken from his games and from Project X Zone 2. Shouting an “Objection!” can be a forward-Smash attack, his Up-B can be a powerful sneeze, and other attacks can involve his partners such as Maya & Pearl Fey (with the Steel Samurai), Apollo Justice, and Athena Cykes. For his Final Smash, the name can be something like “Final Evidence Presentation” A.K.A., “TAKE THAT!” Phoenix presents the final key evidence on the “suspect”, belittling them even further that they were at the crime scene with no alibi and hope left, with the finisher being a powerful “TAKE THAT!” shout sending the suspects flying. For this, both Apollo and Athena join Nick like they both did in Dual Destinies.

Neku Sakuraba - The World Ends With You I was one of the people that voted for Neku to be in Smash during the Fighter Ballot. If you’ve played TWEWY, you probably already know how Neku can fight. Most of Neku’s powers come from pins, allowing him to use pyrokinesis, electrokinesis, shockwaves, energy projectiles, quakes, soundwaves, and more. If he were to be a fighter, Neku can be similar to Robin. In his game, the pins’ powers have a limit use and time limit. After a certain amount of use, Neku must wait to use the pin again until it reboots. This goes for all of his special attacks. Neutral-B can be Energy/Force Rounds, Side-B can be Shockwave akin to Marth/Lucina/Roy’s Dancing Blade, Up-B is Vulcan Uppercut or Teleport, and his Down-B is Pyrokinesis which is controllable. Neku’s Final Smash will be Final Fusion. He summons Shiki, Joshua and Beat where they put all of their power in the Harmonizer Pin with Neku dealing the finishing blow. If Final Fusion manages to KO opponents, this fully reboots all of Neku’s pins.

Monster Hunter - Monster Hunter series Smash Ultimate feels nearly complete as it already has the armor as Mii Costumes and Rathalos as a boss & Assist Trophy. I know very little of the Monster Hunter games, but they can work as a fighter with their various weapons.

Ruby Rose - RWBY series Ruby seems very unlikely for a fighting game like Smash Ultimate, but she already has her own game which is RWBY: Grimm Eclipse, and stars in another crossover fighting game being BLAZBLUE: Cross Tag Battle. But what she can bring to the table is that she’s the most unique fighter out of everyone in Smash. Ruby wields her favorite weapon, Crescent Rose, a high-impact sniper-rifle scythe hybrid weapon. Most of her attacks from the show involve using her Speed Semblance, and attacking from a distance thanks to the rifle part. In a way, she can be similar to Bayonetta as both characters uses guns and attack from far away. Her speed can even match Sonic’s and Shulk’s Monado Speed. For Ruby’s Final Smash, it can be similar to Shulk’s Chain Attack, where she summons the rest of Team RWBY; Weiss, Blake, and Yang. All four girls use their unique team attacks, and the finishing blow is all four of them attacking together with their respective weapons.

Sora - Kingdom Hearts series Sora is on the very bottom for this list because I feel he’s highly unlikely to be the next DLC fighter. He’s technically a Disney character, and Square-Enix is usually careful with their IPs, though some producers seem to be okay with his inclusion in Smash Ultimate. Anyway, should Sora become a fighter, of course he would bring his Keyblade, the Kingdom Key to the battle. All of his attacks can derive from his origin games, like moves from Limit & Second Form. Sliding Dash is his Dash-Attack, Ripple Drive can be his Up-Smash, Stun Impact can be his Down-Smash akin to Zero Suit Samus’s, and Magnet Burst can be a Neutral-Air as an example. I’m not sure what his Neutral-B will be like though for the rest of the Special Attacks; Side-B will be Strike Raid akin to Link’s boomerang, Up-B is Aeroga, and Down-B is a Counterattack being Zantetzuken (or even his latest reprisals from KH3). Sora’s Final Smash is a bit tricky as he has a lot of powerful finishers and attacks. They can be either Ragnarok, Sonic Blade, Ars Arcanum, Union χ, Ancient Light, or Trinity where he teams up with Donald & Goofy to unleash a powerful attack.

meta on tooth's correlation to namine's powers bc Memories

           While it might seem contrary to natural assumption , Tooth and Namine’s powers don’t really affect each other in any meaningful way as far as the inherent information of my KH verse . Namine is only capable of influencing memories of Sora and those connected to his heart , while Tooth’s connection to memories is far more all-encompassing . And since Tooth never enters Castle Oblivion ( writer’s prerogative . I can’t rationalize her ever stepping foot in there and not burning the entire place down . ) she isn’t around when Namine is having the majority of her negative influence on Sora to have any sort of conflict there .

       Namine’s connection with memories does lead to Toothiana being naturally draw to help her though . Just like Xion , memories are such an integral part of her existence , that since Tooth travels from world to world by the guidance of memories , it’s just adds up that they’d lead her to the girl eventually .        So she finds Namine in Twilight Town , presumably during the same time that Xion is learning the nature of her own existence . And while Tooth could determine that Sora’s memories are not safe with Namine and seek to take charge of them herself , she would not . Namine is clearly well-meaning , she has the capabilities to do what needs to be done , and it would be an unnecessary risk towards all the memories of Sora and those connected to him .        Now there’s only so much I can simply state as fact , when anyone actually writing Namine might have their own interpretations and head canons that don’t align , and those would certainly take priority over what I’m coming up with to fill the space in my verse . But setting that aside for now :       1. Naturally Tooth would want Namine to feel a little bit better about herself and be proud of what she’s capable of doing . Because the poor girl has some self esteem issues ( as is only to be expected given every single relationship she’s had with other people since she first started to exist ) and it takes a while for her to accept that the connections and relationships she has with others are worth something . Tooth never looks at a nobody , or someone like Xion , and thinks to herself ‘well they think, act, and talk like sentient beings with emotion. BUT IT’S NOT REAL™ SO CLEARLY THEY ARE ACTUALLY WORTHLESS . ’ so she disapproves of those sorts of sentiments . ( And later on gets very tired of them LOL )      2. Tooth would tell Namine that she will work to make sure Xion’s memory does not completely disappear on her own , hopefully giving Namine some peace of mind and allowing her to focus on restoring Sora .      3. She would mentor Namine a bit in different ways to ‘look’ at memories before taking off . As in how to approach them from different perspectives . Possibly leading Namine and DiZ and Riku to realize they need to bring Roxas into Data Twilight Town in order to finish restoring Sora later on ,  Namine’s ability to recognize Lingering Will for what it is/can do , and later Namine’s recognition of Terra in Sora’s memories .      4. I don’t know if Namine still has any power of memories after she’s recompleted at the end of KH3 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . But Tooth doesn’t bother any of the kids on Destiny Island anyways , so unless Namine’s off on her own epic adventure , or comes to visit Tooth herself , their abilities will continue not to influence each other much .

god i love olympus. it was a rly nice world to be reintroduced to and i actually rly loved whats essentially a tutorial level.

and while im sorta implying game mechanics - i actually rly love the way kh3 plays. the fighting feels pretty fluid imo and i really love formchanges a lot more than i did in kh2

just. i guess just the formchanges from shooting star and hunny spout - more shooting star tho bc its just. rly fun to nyoom around

i actually really like concepts brought up with aqua. she stayed hopeful for so long, anti-aqua was an interesting concept! im also an awful person who likes to break characters sometimes for the development it brings but something tells me not much is going to come from this. she was left alone down there for so long, and when she had a shot at potentially escaping, she lost it. :(
