ah, where could she begin!?

noah had been one of the first friends lenore made during her time with the fleur la vie troupe, even though noah was much, much older than her. if she could voice it... truth be told noah was almost like the sister lenore never had. never knowing until years later that noah was the legendary vanishing quincy, lenore had even written a song about her during her years with fleur la vie.

she was terrified at the possibility that noah had been killed when the troupe fell apart, and there wasn't a day she thought of one of her dearest friends as she traveled on her own. but at the same time... as long as she didn't bury what was left of noah, much like she had to do with what remained of the troupe, then that was enough hope for her friend's survival.

perhaps the fleur la vie troupe helped nurture her passion for music and dance, but perhaps they also influenced her heart and granted her the grace of the ability to forgive. even if these were circumstances noah could never ever hope to control, lenore would still forgive her.

she was lenore's friend, after all.

In the Past, Noah was raised by a church but the same man who trafficked Lynette also got his hands on Noah (she was one of the girls in the basement when Arlecchino found her- Noah was 9 at the time, she had been sold to the man when she was 7 when she got noticed dancing on the streets for mora)

Noah is a member of the house of Hearth [she's old enough to be on her own now but she wants to be there for the other kids- Noah's 20 now]

Noah is also a sex worker, an escort so to speak. Does she enjoy it? Absolutely not, but she mostly does it to get valuable information for "Father".

Noah's parents are nowhere to be found, they're nomads and they do NOT stay in one spot. So she's pretty much given up on contacting them.

Why she was...so incredibly nervous being in the face of one of the royal guards in Soul Society? But Noah ultimately chalked it up to being before such an important figure.

"...It's an honor to meet you, truly..." A brief little bow, still unsure of how to act around the woman before she straightened out.

"...I do want to apologize for what happened between the wandenreich and soul society, I mean it." Noah began, fiddling with the end of her sleeves as she spoke.

"This shouldn't have happened in the first place...but then again... we've never gotten along to begin with."

It's almost like she's choking when she's face to face with the king of quincies. But she remains as she was when she first approached after arriving within Silbern...

yet he still scared her. Years could go by and she would remember the flames that razed a village and the forest to the ground...

"I apologize for speaking out of turn...but enlighten me, what do you mean by that?"

She knew. This could have been about Bazzard and Jugram, this could have been about her foolish devotion to the both of them... but she at least still held onto what little remained between the three of them...

"If I am to join your cause and your Sternritter....I'd rather not speak so vaguely or cryptically." Another honest statement, swallowing a lump forming in her throat and taking the time to slowly exhale and calm her nerves.

"So do please enlighten me, your majesty."

She hates it. Plain and simple. To her it's something that is CLEARLY set in stone and she knows nothing can change it, no amount of action or words said can change someone or somethings destiny.

Noah views it as a hinderance, something to stand in the way of trying to enjoy life- trying to save someone from a fate intertwines WITH their destiny. She's never once liked the concept of either... because it means reality is going to take away the people or things she loves.

And while she can try to openly defy it, she isn't stupid. Noah does know that while she can hate both fate and destiny at the same time it will never change someone's end or their decisions.

She will always lose Jugram. She will always lose Bazz. The troupe will always be slaughtered like animals. She will forever hold the bodies of the two men she sacrificed her freedom for as they die.

And she will forever be alone. She will always be the reminder that there once was a village that Yhwach burned to the ground, that there used to be a trio of children from that village who vowed to kill him. She will be the reminder that there once was a traveling group of quincies with their instruments performing and running from the Tyrant who forced them to run to begin with.

And no amount of changed actions will change the fact she was the one who vanished from the tyrant's sight, leaving her footprints on the ground as a sign she used to belong to that village he destroyed...
