The way I wanna see Luis go completely apeshit and just start doing things that he wouldn’t do in canon. In canon we know he feels immense guilt for his past and wants to make up for it all. We see him trying to do good over and over again. He wants to redeem himself and prove he’s changed.
But a part of me so badly wants him to kinda just,, lose the plot for a hot minute. The whole “be the monster they always said you were” kinda ordeal. He gets left for dead after the Krauser attack and nobody came back for him so he’s kinda bitter about it. I know it would be out of character because of what we’ve seen him go through and do, but… I do kinda wanna see it happen anyway.

also thinking about how ellis pursues The Horrors in the moment of any crisis because he sees them as an effective means to an end where he or his loved ones might live. he doesn't think about the moral or emotional implications until his actions have already passed & he is actively experiencing them

OKAY. OKAY. HEAR ME OUT. Just more thinking below the cut after watching these damn movies for a flayed or corrupted verse:
Now after studying both Spree and Marmalade I have come up with a little fun mix-match bag of ideas here on what a corrupted or flayed Steve might come across as. So we know in season 1 before Steve's whole development arc that he was very into attention/popularity/looking good, right? Imagine being flayed or infected that brought out that quality and cranked it up to a ten. Like the need to get attention, have eyes on him, all those things.
And negative reactions are not handled well, a lot like what we see with Kurt in Spree. He lashes out at those who do not give him the attention or positive reinforcement that he desires. Making him ruthless. But what if the corruption also takes a turn where Steve knows how to manipulate as well? He knows how to use that "act dumb and innocent. Give them the puppy eyes. They'll fall right for it" like how we have with Baron in Marmalade?
I know a lot of people probably aren't even gonna bother reading this but can you IMAGINE the power this man could have? And all the potential angst? Dude, this could be soooooo good for a verse]]

i'm begging iwtv fandom.
none of the characters are all the way good or all the way bad.
they all fuck up and do terrible things to each other.
it doesn't have to be one mastermind and everyone else is a victim.

thinking about how gepard navigates the world based on the knowledge he has and the faith that what he knows to be right and wrong are true. while he's experienced enough to form his own thoughts, feelings, opinions, they're not encouraged to be openly discussed or expanded upon. it's like putting him in this box that dictates that the supreme guardian is virtuous and would never do something that could bring ruin to belobog and while cocolia is gone now the impact she had on him while he worked beside her still echoes through his life. working alongside bronya and getting to see the underworld after over a decade gives him the opportunity to see things from both sides and work to amend years and years of them being negligent. he did not know how much they suffered, even the pain they experienced on the front line and the death was subdued by cocolia reassuring him that it wasn't for nothing, dissuading him to question her. this gives him the chance to grow, to allow his purview to encompass more than just the guard and the citizens from the overworld. even when you look at it from the perspective of just being a protector they let down the underworld by assenting to cocolia's will and not finding other ways to lend their aid ??

I've already spun the next void and secondary wheel stuff for the new update, and lemme tell ya. It gets worse, unfortunately.
Anyway, I forgot to add this on the last one, but by the time the next spins are posted (thinking Thursday or Friday for that), I'm gonna say that it's been about...two weeks, since the Corruption was announced? Maybe two and a half? So everyone that's already been announced would be at early-mid or mid on the symptom list. And then from there, I'll just add a week per new spin post (or every other spin post, we'll see)
I said this at the very beginning, but I don't actually intend to have any muses (mine or otherwise) get to the late stage automatically. At that point, I might pick one or two of mine, and leave it up to everyone else if they want any of their babies to get to that point too. But like...hopefully by then, the treatment will be figured out, so that won't be as big an issue.
