No person would act like she did under normal circumstances, but she is NOT! UNDER! NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES! Girl was already nearing her breaking point, and then they threw her the emotional curveball of designing the perfect reward for her. Anyone in her shoes would be upset under normal circumstances, and under her very ABNORMAL circumstances, her reaction was 100% justified.

You are not the first person to suggest this lol When I announced Fortune & Glory, several people suggested a Mummy AU and ngl I originally thought of doing it with Bradley as Rick, but so many people have said Jake! concept: mc transmigrates into what is obviously the pure innocent naive white lotus heroine in a shitty webnovel and she takes like. almost zero notice of it. what she does notice is that her body is like. super weak. why is it so weak. why is she so short. where are her muscles. where is her extreme tolerance for poison, sleep deprivation, and concussions. why can she no longer punch through a wall.

the plot is now actually a story of her pretty much trying to (re?)gain the attributes of a cultivation protagonist AKA her workout regimen. is the original plot happening? sure but like why would she care about that when she's trying to join a dojo so she can gain access to the underground fighting ring so she can punch more people.

I feel like Your Name Engraved Herein is quite a misunderstood film. I’ve seen some people not liking the ending but it’s actually the ending that’s most important to the director. The ending makes you understand what this film is all about. I read an article about it when it was released and it was quite enlightening. I found it again so here is an extract.
