The good boy indeed! This is Bo's workout partner :3
As goes for all of Savanaclaw, Jack is one of the people Bo is closest to. A decent guy with a good heart and a shit ton of fluff and muscle. What's not to love? Though, Bo has a habit of getting touchy with him a lot- he doesn't intend to make him uncomfortable, but he feels a lot safer when he has someone to cling to. He's getting better about it...
Bo asked Jack about working out together fairly early on. He's a small girl with little to no muscle and zero stamina on a campus full of people who will pick a fight over anything. Plus having something more tailored to his level than Vargas' reps would probably benefit him. Jack mostly just spots him while Bo works at his own pace, trying to make sure he doesn't hurt himself (which happens incredibly often because he tends to push himself through his pains), but he also gets super proud when Bo reaches a new best. Did five pushups? Hell yeah, that's more than the three from yesterday!
Bo also planned to join him for morning jogging, albeit with plenty more breaks than usual, but that meant getting up earlier. Which was miserable. He dropped that pretty quickly.
Jack will never admit it, but he lets Bo crash in his room fairly often when he's sleep deprived or hurting particularly bad because he gets worried. Bo is just happy to be there. As much as he likes Grim, the beast isn't exactly the greatest company for him if he's in a lot of pain (mostly because poor Grim doesn't have an off switch), meaning Ramshackle isn't a super pleasant place to rest.
Every time some gamerbro tries to use the Akkala dream house you build to *disprove* zelink I laugh tbh.
Clearly Link intends to abandon Zelda... by building a family home (with connotations in Akkala) with two of everything set up in it and a scholar's study in a location where Silent Princesses grow nearby.
Because obviously, Link doesn't care about anything, Link would never simp! ...even though he even only wants to face the Demon King to find a clue on Zelda and is straight up werid and pathetic thinking "My sweet princess 🥰" when he thinks she's ordered him to fight naked
i think the qsmp is very impressive for speedrunning the same love-hate relationship i have with the dsmp in under a year as opposed to the three it took for the other one
i think like generally kondrakis drinking was stirred by multiple things but. i cant imagine her having to watch her baby grow older knowing that there's a high likelihood that one day she will have to bury him helped it at all
sometimes someone will reblog my "silver lied in the finale no idea abt what tho" post and their tags all full of #flinthamilton angst and i just really am forcefully reminded that even though we all watched the same show . we did not in fact watch the same show. like yes their affair is basically what set the whole plot in motion and i really love thomas as a plot device but i do have to confess that idc abt thomas as a person at all lmfao
it hit me like halfway through the episode that they were probably gonna go for ruby’s mum just being an ordinary disenfranchised woman that felt like giving up her daughter was her only option. that did not prepare me for when they actually did that
I just watched that s7 episode where Rose, Dorothy and Sophia will have to move out if Blanche doesn't make them co-owners of the house and oh.... oh my god. I knew Blanche's grand gesture would hit hard, but Dorothy's talk to Rose before then?? Giving her an excuse for why she has to say, only to shrug that off and softly tell her the truth ("we love you") and proceeding to tell the permit guy that they're family!! They love each other so much & they can't be separated!! Rose's face throughout the whole thing!! It's so much
ppl who vaguepost about being unfollowed need to relax like not every time someone unfollows you is bc they just couldn't handle some crazy controversial opinion you posted.. sometimes they are still ur friend they just don't want ur posts on their dash. relax
There's a question at the heart of philosophical debate for centuries which is "is it more important that people do not die, or that I do not feel I have a hand in killing them?"
It's the basis of the trolley problem. Do I choose to let 4 people die just so that I could say I didn't personally kill one person? Which is more important? Their lives or my conscience?
From an outside perspective, we feel the answer should be obvious: that in choosing not to act, we are still acting. We are still choosing to allow 4 people to die. But, in the moment itself, it's hard to see, and we recognize that. The idea of being in any way supporting a single death is more than most people's conscience will allow. It's easier to let go of the switch and distance ourselves from the responsibility of the result.
But when the price of inaction becomes hundreds of thousands of lives, the gap of morality grows. When you have seen hundreds of thousands die already and you know hundreds of thousands more will, the idea of putting one's own personal sense of moral purity above those lives becomes harder for me to understand or defend. Especially in a case where, if one doesn't act, everyone on both sets of tracks dies.
Conceptually I do, of course. It's not like morality is a simple issue, especially in the face of mass atrocities. There's a reason the tolley problem exists, after all. But in practically, I will always have a fundamental difference in morality as people who think like that, when it reaches the scale it has.
It's still my choice, regardless if I choose not to act and I won't ever allow more blood to be spilled just to say my own hands are clean of it. To me, nothing seems more performative than that.
what exactly is one supposed to do about accepting things you can't control when the thing you can't control is a person who is actively fucking over many people, including children?
𝐎𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝘂𝗿𝘀𝐞, 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝘁𝐡𝐚𝗿𝐚 𝘄𝐚𝘀 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝘃𝐞 𝘀𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧𝘆𝐦𝐨𝘂𝘀 𝐪𝘂𝐞𝘀𝘁𝐢𝐨𝐧𝘀. That was against the rule-
What.
SHE DID WHAT ?
MINTHARA ! You are not supposed to kill sisters ! Not yours, not anyone else's. ❞ While yes, Babette would colloquially kill for cake too, the prospect of the drow having murdered one of her siblings was sadly unsurprising.
❝ You should NOT kill more sisters. Please let them live. Y-You could share the cake ? What kind of cake is it ? ❞ As if that was important for decision-making at this point.
