“La la La~ Da da da~ Da da~ La de da~” Douma twirled about the room, across his shoulders sat the fluffiest looking snake Rui had ever seen in his life. Though, it wasn’t a snake- not really.

“Her lips were red, her skin the moon, when she turned to me, oh how I swooned~” Douma sang out, leaning back dramatically and pulling the fluffy snake closer to him. “I wished her to be my bride, but alas I was blind! For she-”

“Douma.” Rui spoke up, his curiosity getting the better of him. “What is that?”

Douma looked over, starting out of his song. Then he smiled, making his way over. With a flick of his wrist, he pulled the snake across Rui’s shoulders, giving it a shake. “Why this? This is my feather boa! I got it from one of my followers. Lovely, isn’t it?”

Rui scrunched up as the fluffy garment tickled along his ears and neck, a soft giggle escaping his lips. “It’s tickly.”

“Is it now?” Douma seemed to glow with mischief as he wiggled the boa some more, earning even more soft giggles from the spider demon. “Soft to the touch and able to make you laugh? I’m glad to have been given such a prize!”

“Given what now?” Kokushibou asked in the background, brows furrowing as he watched Douma pull the fluffy garment back over his own shoulders. “What in the world is that?”

“A feather boa! A gift.” Douma struck a pose, shimmying his shoulders to make the fluff dance. “Do you love it?”

“I’m…unsure.” Kokushibou’s eyes narrowed in suspicion as he watched Douma wiggle up to him. Taking in the hot pink material and the glittery ends, he blinked slowly. “It’s…unique.”

“I’ll take that in a good way!” Douma stretched out a hand, wiggling the end of the boa into the taller demon’s face. “I feel something being awakened in me. It’s as if my past self was a theater performer and he wants to come out.”

Douma did a quick number as he twirled around Kokushibou, flicking the boa with him as he hummed another tune. When he was before him once again, he pulled the boa over the taller demon, yanking him forward so they were chest to chest. “Would you like to be my partner, Koku?”

“I think I’ll pass. Dancing isn’t my thing.” Kokushibou tried to ease the other away, but Douma only pulled him closer, smiling deviously. “Douma- please release me.”

“Dance with me first.” He brought the Boa up so it hung around Koku’s shoulders, giving it a fluff and making the taller demon scrunch some. “I’ve always wanted to waltz with you.”

“Ew, Douma and Koku are flirting.” Akaza mock groaned as he came in, taking Rui’s hand. “Come on, Spidey-squirt; let’s go find your dreamer companion.”

“Wait-” Kokushibou went to call out, but the word caught in his throat when the boa scurried along his skin, brushing his ears and shoulders. “Douma-heegh! Pleahehase!”

“Hmm, what’s so funny?” The blonde grinned, gathering both ends of the Boa with one hand and pulling gently, letting his hand push past the folds of Kokushibou’s Yukata to get his ribs. “Tell me~”

Kokushibou stammered before doubling over, fighting down the giggles as he held onto Douma’s shoulders. “D-Douma! E-enohoohough!” His laughter was rich and deep, shaking them both with the force he was suppressing them with.

“Let it out, Koku~”

And let it out he finally did. Giving into Douma’s antics, he let himself relax into his arms, barely fighting back as the blonde skittered his fingers up and down his side with gentle touches. “Ahehahahahahha! Yoohoohoohohu’re a peehhehehrsueahahhahahasive ohoohoohohne!”

“And you’re quite handsome when you laugh.” Douma grinned, pulling the Boa back up so it rested against his shoulders, freeing his hands. Bringing them up, he wrapped them around Kokushibou’s neck, standing up on his toes so he could press a kiss against his smiling mouth. “Hi.”

“Hello there.” Kokushibou replied, lips twitching.

“Dance with me?” Douma asked again, waggling his brows. The six eyed demon sighed before taking his waist, steadying them both.

“If you insist.” As he began to lead, the sound of strummed music filled the room. Nakime was somewhere nearby. “How long-”

“Eyes on me.” Douma demanded softly, turning Koku’s chin back so they were watching eachother once more. If he had eyebrows, Koku would be raising them high at Douma’s boldness. “For this song and the next, you’re mine and mine alone.”

“So demanding.” Kokushibou tsked, even as he let himself follow the soothing beat of Nakime’s tune, guiding Douma around the room with ease.

“It’s the boa. Gives me powers.” Douma shimmied his shoulders, making the material flutter and shake with him. 

“Those being?”

“The power to make handsome demons with six eyes and long hair fall in love with me.” Douam smiled, all teeth. Kokushibou let out a huff of a laugh.

“You don’t need a boa to do that.” He reached out, taking Douma’s chin in his hand with a quirk of his lips. “You’ve had me for a long, long time.”

hot take ??

the only reason people say that "mafuyu and tsukasa have nothing in common" when presented with mafukasa parallels is because they equate mafuyu and tsukasa being similar to "tsukasa has depression" because the fandom equates mafuyu's personality to being depressed and nothing else.

it doesn't help that people (primarily younger people in the fandom) who DO believe in mafukasa parallels end up making the mistake of portraying tsukasa as depressed because as of right now he is not (although it's possible he was in past because of his Very Unclear Middle School Backstory but that's irrelevant)

anyways, mafuyu and tsukasa are narrative foils because their core personalities are built off of the concept of wanting to make the people around them— especially their families— happy.

they both developed personalities at a young age based on someone they looked up to. for tsukasa, it was seiichi amami's performance that inspired him to be a star— a hero that could cheer anyone up. for mafuyu, it was her mother taking care of her that inspired her to be a nurse— and you can see the similarities from there.

for mafuyu, her identity would first come into conflict when her mother expressed her want for mafuyu to be a doctor— suddenly, "everyone's" happiness didn't match what she wanted to do, leaving her in a state of disorder and eventual depression.

for tsukasa, his identity was something he nearly forgot in its entirety at the start of the main story— becoming arrogant and fully absorbed in a hero persona, forgetting the kind person he truly is. furthermore, his current character arc seems to be foreshadowing that what "being a star" to him is going to be called into question— maybe it is something more than just being the main character that saves everyone.

their insecurities are incredibly similar.

in mafuyu's first mixed, mafuyu feels insecure towards ichika because unlike ichika, she feels as if her lyrics have no genuine meaning to be expressed to other people— despite them being her very real feelings. this is brought up again in her second mixed as well.

in tsukasa's third focus event, something similar happens. when watching seiichi's performance, he thinks that his acting is "real" and feels inferior towards him, which is ironic because tsukasa has been method acting this whole time. when tsukasa is acting out rio or bartlett or really anyone at this point in the story, it's not just those characters— it's a reflection of his traumas.

just like mafuyu, tsukasa undermines his passions he's poured his feelings into because someone else's work is more genuine in his eyes.

now, then, foils have many similarities and parallels (and i could honestly list a lot more), but how i define them is that they usually have some kind of major branching difference that MAKES them foils.

for mafuyu and tsukasa it's pretty straightforward.

mafuyu's people pleasing behavior comes from external expectations and pressures— her mother's demands.

tsukasa's people pleasing behavior comes internally, from himself— if he can't meet his own standards, if he can't be the perfect big brother or the perfect star, then he is nothing.

and even then, there's some overlap.

tsukasa's behavior was indirectly encouraged by his mother praising him for being a "good big brother" over the phone instead of asking him if he was okay while home alone.

mafuyu's terrified to be herself around other people because she doesn't want to worry or bother them— she doesn't want to be a burden— and projects her mother's expectations onto them, not realizing that they would prefer the real mafuyu if they knew the truth.

and the concept of mafukasa being foils is most perfectly and blatantly portrayed in these two cards.

mafuyu, the marionette, sitting limp on the floor— puppeteered by her mother's demands and donning a mask to hide her true self.

tsukasa, the jester, standing above everything else— puppeteering silenced plushies— his feelings. he's not being completely honest with himself, and he doesn't even realize it.

mafuyu has cut her strings and ripped her mask in half. she has acknowledged her true feelings and expressed them to her mother, even if she had to run away in the end.

tsukasa has not yet cut his.

Synastry Observations: Part 2💞

Your Moon/Mercury falling in someone’s 3H can open the house person up to bigger ideas of logic and emotion. A person who can be closed minded, ignorant or emotionally immature can possibly become more open minded and emotionally mature and considerate when they have 3H synastry with someone as the house person learns through the planet person.

Neptune synastry, esp when in the 1H/7H can project on the planet individual a lot. The house person can see the planet person as someone better or worse than they actually are. They refuse to see the person for who and what they are, whether in a good or bad sense and have rose colored glasses.

I noticed those with 9H synastry usually have issues with one another’s in laws. It can be that the in laws might not approve of a relationship or marriage between the two, seemingly because one of the partners might be completely different from what the others parents expected their son/daughter to be in a romantic relationship with.

Ladies, if your 1H falls in a man’s Venus sign or is sextile/conjuct his Mars/Venus/ASC, he may just be obsessed with you 🫢

Same can be said if your moon falls in his 8H/12H. They can obsessed with trying to know how you feel about them and wanting to own you basically

Pluto square/opp Moon in synastry indicate an emotionally abusive relationship sometimes.

10H synastry can indicate the friendship/relationship being a publicity stunt or something that’s very much in the public eye. Many people may know of you two being together.

Unfortunately, 10H synastry can also include a lot of your beef/fights with the person to be publicized or all over social media a lot esp if 11H synastry is involved too.

Your personal planets falling in someone’s 6H or aspecting Saturn/Neptune (esp harsh aspects) can indicate someone who is consistently trying to change or “fix” you.

6H synastry can also be indicative of someone making you do physical labor for them as well.

Jupiter opp Saturn can make the Jupiter person feel like they’re being held back or tied down in a relationship with the Saturn person but usually the Saturn person is just trying to give Jupiter some responsibility.

Uranus aspecting ASC in synastry is a sign of the ASC person feeling oddly vulnerable and comfortable around the Uranus person. They usually feel like they can be themselves.

Day 14: Tracing

Aww! Thank you so much anon! I appreciate it :D And of course you can request these two for Tracing! Since we already have a Douma and Akaza pairing, I decided to change it up a little and have Akaza get wrecked by the "Douma tickle minions" I hope you like it!

“Wow, Lord Douma wasn’t kidding when he said you were ticklish.” Daki sounded almost amazed.

“He’s so squirmy! Hold him down!” Gyutaro grunted, hands currently encasing Akaza’s.

“I’m trying! He won’t stop kicking!” Kaikagu rolled his eyes as he pushed down on the upper moon's knees, sneaking a few quick scratches here and there.

Akaza was in hell. One minute he was minding his business finishing up a meeting, the next he was jumped, brought to the ground by Douma’s minions as they attacked his stripes, tracing each one gently and sending boom after boom of ticklishness throughout his core.

Had they not put his only weakness on his chest, he probably would have committed a massacre.

That’s the only reason. Yep. Definitely.

“He’s so loud.” Rui mused, his small hands tracing the lines along Akaza’s stomach and sides like he was coloring in a drawing. Daki’s own nails were skittering lightly over the stripes along his right arm, pinching at his bicep and making him flail. “It’s kinda funny.”

“You mean hilarious!” Enmu giggled, their own hands tracing a rather sensitive spot along Akaza’s other side, reaching down and poking his armpits every now and then. “Oh, this is the sound of dreams, no?”

“GEHAHHAHAHAHAHHA! STAHHAHAHHAP IIHIIHIHIIIHT YOHOOHOHOU DAHAHHAHAMN BRAHAHHAHAHTS!” Akaza cackled, head thrown back in mirth as he tried and failed to break free. No matter which way he moved, someone’s fingers were tracing a stripe, scribbling into his ribs, even daring to graze his neck. “GEHEHHHEHHET THE HEHEHEHEHLL OHOHOOHOHOHFF!”

“Oh, come now Akaza. Don’t tell me you're not having fun.” Douma was standing in the background, a smile hidden behind his fan as he watched his minions go to town. Both he and Akaza knew it would only take a second to escape. Akaza was far stronger than all the demons combined. It was his own willingness to stay put that kept him “trapped.”

Douma knew this, and he relished it.

“IIHIHIIHIHIHILL GEHHEHEHHEHT YOHOOOHOHOU BAHAHAHHHACK!” Akaza roared after the blonde as Douma exited, giggling in his fan. “JUHUHUHUUST YOHOHOHOU WAHAHHAHIT!”

“We’ll see.” Douma winked.

🐻‍❄️ aquarius venus may feel very judged by their partners or may be embarrased of telling their partners about their interests or views sometimes and have fear of rejection. This is mostly what ive observed amongst the underdeveloped ones but i feel like this theme sort of follows them throughout their life but as they learn to accept themselves, it doesnt bother them.

🐻‍❄️ okay sooo, saturn tends to reward after hardwork but it also tends to create a lack mindset and also leads to lack literally in some cases and i hate it. Like i ik saturn has its own rewards but lorddddddddd?????? Like whatever house saturn occupies, you feel restricted and lack mindset also thrives and you really have to work hard to not let it affect you??????

🐻‍❄️ okayyyyy sun conj moon in synastry does make you feel like the other person is literally mirroring you. Like in my case, i felt like the other person was mirroring my negative traits more like passive aggressive and moody behaviour. He had cancer sun aqua moon and i had aqua sun and cancer moon sooo🙏

I have leo in my 12th house rightttt and theres this girl who had her sun in leo. Initially she wanted to be my friend but i felt icky towards her cause something didnt feel right and this kept happening for 1 year. 1year. I had no proof whatsoever to justify this feeling but guess whaaatttttttt. I recently found out that she would call me names behind my back and felt threatened by my presence and the fact that authorities gave me more responsibility. Likeeee it was so out of the blue and she then proceeded to project her resentment towards me and also attacked my reputation repeatedly but never on my faceeee💀💀🤚💀💀
