kids r so ridiculously funny im losing my mind. my suitemate was a 1st grade ta this year and the kids made her an all about my teacher goodbye gift where they fill in the blanks to questions and theyr answers r just.

1. The SUN in any aspect jupiter especially the opposition if it’s happening in the 1st and 7th house. Both the Sun and Jupiter are thought to be best friends In astrology much like Mars and jupiter cause they're ruled by fire signs so any soft or hard aspects puts the odds of being recognized in your field of career extremely high. I found sun-jupiter in the charts of alot of stand up comedians/ actors. Jupiter rules humor and the Sun rules fun, Jupiter is expanding on things pertaining to fun while the sun is illuminating the lucky and buoyant nature of Jupiter. These two planets in any aspect is EXCELLENCE at its finest, these people have no trouble expressing themselves and milking any opportunity like a groomed cow, especially if the signs are in fire

2. Hard aspects to the moon. This is actually one more astrologers have taken more notice to. And this is because in traditional astrology the moon much like the MC also rules the public other than just our emotional nature, food and family. Moon-Pluto, Moon-saturn, Moon-Jupiter are the ones I see alot. Kylie Jenner has her moon square jupiter(the moon is the public and her family and her sister is part of the reason her entire family is so rich and are famous just for the sake of being famous, jupiter is continously expanding all of that) marilyn monroe has her moon square her saturn (saturn rules time and things in the long term and forever, even tho Marilyn's upbringing wasn't so great due to saturns influence and she died so young, she's still the most enduring sex symbol of all time also due to Saturn's influence on the moon which rules the public). ppl with Moon-Saturn tend to have a “rags to riches” story.

3. A TON of outer planet influence especially hard aspects. Outer planets are generational planets so someone with their uranus in aquarius will share that placement with everyone theyre close in age with but not everyone in their generation will receive hard aspects to those planets. Look for aspects to the ASC, MC, DC or to planets like mercury, venus, Mars or jupiter. 5. Jupiter-Pluto aspects. I feel like people talk too much about how these aspects are associated with extreme wealth (which isn’t wrong) but not enough about how people with these aspects attract a lot of “yes-men” Jupiter a lot like Venus rules our values but more so our belief system, what we believe in and what we base our belief off of. Pluto rules just “power” in general so when it touches Jupiter it can forge cult leaders and perverted capitalists after becoming too aware of the power they have and not utilizing it properly. I'm just gonna make this post and then maybe I can focus on watching Fantasy High lol

I am mostly in camp prank on this whole wedding thing, but if it does turn out that they are actually married I really am happy for them!

My thoughts are below the cut (if you care):

These are comedians who have been shipped together for like a decade, of course they have it in them to plan an April Fool's prank several months, if not possibly even a year, in advanced. Like, I can see them hanging out like last year on April 1st and saying, "oh, we should totally post that we got married or something" and then they decided that was too tame and they had to take it to the extreme.

On the other hand, these are comedians who have been shipped together for like a decade, so of course they have it in them to actually get married but announce it on April 1st for the memes.

Smosh cast and crew's reactions are all over the place. Some of them are acting like its real and they knew all along and some are acting like this is a big surprise or a joke. I feel like if it was real everyone would be reacting the same way, ie congratulating them. But, again, this is a comedic channel so I can kinda see them playing it up, but it feels less likely with how disjointed the reactions are.

Like I said above, if this is real, I am happy for them, because they do seem like two people who really know how to have fun together and make each other laugh.

Just wanna finish off by saying that regardless of the legitimacy of this wedding this is the funniest fucking thing I think Smosh has ever done.

The Great British Bakeoff but it's Ghosts

This is going to be a longer post but here goes: (if you're British like me you'll understand this, if not you'll probably be confused)

Signature:

Pat - does something simple but wonderful that links back to his Yorkshire roots. (I feel like he would be a good baker.) He gets the Paul Hollywood handshake and immediately befriends the comedian hosts.

Mary - burns it.

Captain - does something from the time of rationing. He makes a very small cake with minimal ingredients, but for what it is it's quite good.

Fanny - makes something old fashioned, such as fruit cake or figgy pudding. It doesn't taste of much and she gets very offended when the judges say so.

Thomas - pours his heart and soul into the cake. Starts crying halfway through and has to take a break. He probably makes something fancy with pineapples or other unusual ingredients, just because he can.

Julian - brandy. He puts lots of brandy in the cake. He must have luck on his side, because it turns out surprisingly well. Maybe he bribed the judges.

Kitty - does something cute and pink and heart shaped. It's not that tasty but the judges don't want to be mean to her, and so they say it's delicious.

Humphrey - fairly average. He makes a two tier cake, and the top tier keeps falling off. At one point he leaves his head in the freezer.

Robin - Doesn't really know how to make cake, but he tries his best. He gets excited about the oven and messes with it just enough that the cake comes out perfectly cooked.

Technical:

1st place: Captain. Unsurprising, given he's good at following (and giving) orders.

2nd place: Humphrey. A little more unusual, but he seems to have a knack for baking now that he's reattached his head.

3rd place: Julian. Bribery, probably.

Last place: Mary. She burnt it.

Showstopper:

Pat - makes a scouts themed cake with marshmallows and chocolate. It's very tasty.

Mary - crème brulée. It's quite good, possibly because it's actually supposed to be burned.

Captain - makes Havers's favourite cake. Gets sad but won't tell anyone why. At least he didn't bury any explosives in it.

Fanny - very extravagant tiered cake. It has a replica of Button House on top, and it looks a little like a wedding cake. One of the windows keeps falling off. Strange, given it's the one she was pushed out of.

Thomas - Red velvet cake. He writes his poetry on the sides in food dye. It's decorated with small chocolate beads that look surprisingly like musket balls.

Julian - adds more alcohol. In fact, he spends so much time adding alcohol (and drinking it) that he runs out of time and isn't able to ice the bottom half of the cake.

Kitty - it's heart shaped again, and it has tiny fondant dolls on top that she made. They depict her, Alison, all of the ghosts, her father, and her sister - herself and the people she loves (even if not all of them deserve it).

Humphrey - he makes a french cake. It's very nice and all, but the instructions that his wife used to use are in french, and once again the top layer keeps falling off. Couldn't think why.

Robin - blows everyone away with an incredible Moonah Ston cake. It's very accurate, and there's something almost... electrical about the flavour. It's also perfectly cooked thanks to his fiddling with the oven.

Star baker:

Robin! Despite having no prior experience, he really managed to wow everyone with his showstopper. To celebrate he blows all of the fuses in the tent.

Part 11.

-- Hearing your explanation about that scene, a thought came to my mind that it was like a very realistic argument of a couple (laugh).

Toyonaga: Yes, yes, that's right! One person gets very emotional, but at the same time the other person is the opposite, very composed. That's why I think that the way we acted was closer to slice of life shows than anime. For me it was a bit of a shock, like "I see, so this is another possible interpretation, huh".

-- How do you see the relationship between Victor and Yuuri from your perspective, Toyonaga-san?

Toyonaga: Hmmm... From Yuuri's point of view, the Legend that, in the beginning, he was looking up to, tells him that he's going to be his coach, and is so close to him, so for Yuuri it probably felt as if he was dreaming. And from there, their relationship slowly started to be that of a coach and his student, I think. But from Victor's perspective, I think it all started from a surprise, a place of "what should I do next?". So he's using Yuuri quite a bit - or in other words, I think for him it all started from something like: "It will be interesting if I become a coach and make a Japanese skater win, won't it?". But as the story progresses, he starts to get inspired by Yuuri more and more... That's why I don't think it's a relationship that you can describe easily. They are not friends, and there isn't really a hierarchy in their relationship, so it's not really a master and a student relationship either.

-- And they're not simply rivals.

Toyonaga: Yeah. Having said that, to the question if they are lovers or not, I think that no, they are not. If you call that "love", it a deeper kind of love. I think that for Yuuri, as he said, Victor had a bigger impact on him than his family, so I think that they have a stronger relationship than a family usually has.

-- Listening to you right now, I thought that their relationship is close to a relationship of comedian duo...

Toyonaga: Yeah, it is perhaps something close to that. They don't talk with each other that much, and have separate dressing rooms, but they are tied together with an invisible string. And when the stage curtain goes up, they do their job nicely. I think that this is the kind of relationship that they built as the story progressed.

[Notes: 💀💀💀 Jp brand of homophobia, the kind of "why do you need to have what the "normal" people have?", "why do you need to get married like "normal" people do?" + when it's a man and a woman, then it's just "romantic love", but when it's a same sex relationship then "romantic love" is deemed not "good" enough, all of sudden, it has to be more "noble" and "pure" to be acceptable - you can very often see fujos referring to same sex relationships, such as that of Y&V, as "big feelings"... Even though they draw porn of the characters to get off as a hobby, at the same time a lot of fujos still firmly believe that referring to canon relationships as "gay" or "romantic" or "sexual" is offensive. Toyonaga here does exactly the same thing - "they are not lovers and if you call their relationship 'love', then it's a deeper kind of love😊" - I wonder if he has the same opinion of his own relationship if he has a girlfriend/wife - that it's somehow a worse kind of love, because it's romantic 🤔? I bet, he doesn't.

It's just pure discrimination, for the sake of discrimination, "I'm normal, you're not - you shouldn't have what normal people have" - there is no "religious beliefs" involved, for example.

Also why they suggest that comedian duos are not even friends or talk to each other? 💀 I'm sure a lot of those duos are best friends...

1. Irvin S. Cobb - American writer, editor, humorist & columnist hailing from Paducah, Kentucky¹.

He was the highest paid staff reporter on the NY World newspaper².

Irvin would write 60+ books & around 300 short stories.

Some of which were adapted into silent movies. And, 2 of his later tales were actually filmed, by the famed John Ford³, during the 1930s!

2. Cobb's "dark side" (horror works) of the otherwise lighthearted comedian & the story in question.

3 & 4. Comedic frontpieces(?) for books by Cobb. The 2nd even boasts an Abraham Lincoln quote!

1913 Addendum -

Intro: Irvin Cobb's infamous short story "Fishhead" is set in the back- wood bayous of the vast Reelfoot Lake⁴.

Plot: The tale concerns the murder of a local outcast freak by "poor whites."

With its surprise Jaws⁵-like ending, this gruesome work reminds readers of an issue of EC comics⁶!

Criticism: Lovecraft lauded Cobb for, "... Carrying on our (own) spectral tradition is the gifted... humorist, I.S. Cobb, whose works... contain some finely (made) weird (tales)."

Of the plot, Howard stated that, "Fish- head" (is) an early achievement, ... banefully effective in its portrayal of (an) unnatural... hybrid idiot & the strange fish of an isolated lake."

Lovecraft further opined, "It is (my firm) belief... that... few short stories of equal merit have been published anywhere (else)..."

Legacy: Cobb's "Fishhead" is seen as a major influence on Lovecraft's own "Shadow Over Innsmouth."

Robert M. Price⁷ noted that, "What (Howard) found revolting was the idea of interracial marriage (&) of different ethnicities mating, (thus) 'polluting' the (white? human?) gene pool."

Fishhead is supposedly "the son of a Negro father & a halfbreed Indian mother." It's never mentioned what her other half was from...

This is the same premise behind HPL's "The Shadow Over Innsmouth."

Except that Lovecraft calls them Deep Ones & has a whole city that's been 'turned'...

William Gaines printed mature tales of war, adventure, satire, etc...

Noted for its stories high quality, shock endings & progressive social awareness.

Among the themes that EC creators touched upon are: racial equality, anti- war sentiments, nuclear disarmament & even early environmentalism!

Sadly, official censorship forced EC to focus on its "Mad" magazine - which became it's greatest success!!

EC has just been revived, by Oni Press, on this past February of 2024!!

7. R.M. Price is an American biblical scholar, author & an authority on H.P. Lovecraft.

His works include: "Deconstructing Jesus", "The Reason Driven Life", "The New Lovecraftian Circle", "World War Cthulhu", "The Disciples of Cthulhu", "Arkham Detective Agency", "The Da Vinci Fraud", "The Apartheid State in Crisis" & more great stuff!!

Price was the editor of the greatly lamented Crypt of Cthulhu, Midnight Shambler & Eldritch Tales fanzines.

He even edited a whole series of Mythos anthologies for Chaosium.
