I headcanon that they have like twin telepathy, know when the other is in danger can tell what the other is thinking

They also probably use their twin telepathy to prank others, joke around, and to keep secrets from others. <3

Okay, hear me out.

You CANNOT tell me that the brothers have not both been ridiculed by Spike, INDIVIDUALLY, without the other to take a stand.

Like, I know they spend most of their lives together, but every now and again Spike catches one of them alone and just goes off on him about the smallest things.

Of course the good part here is that after his brother comes back after he was beaten both physically and mentally, they always know how to comfort each other, and it’s different for both of them. You can insert the rest here if you like.

So, Spike is one of Brooklyn's biggest asshole.

Stealing Luigi's shoes, locking them in his own locker so Luigi cannot get them at all until Spike returns to work on the next day.

Since it was raining and Luigi had to walk home in wet socks, he got sick. Of course, Mario takes care of ill Luigi and makes sure he gets well soon again. <3

And I'm pretty sure Spike totally makes fun of Mario's height, turning him into a constant laughing stack at work.

Luigi almost always is able to cheer Mario up by cooking a three course dinner for his bro. <3
