Cultivate: Slow Life in a Monster-Infested Mountain by NeonGhostCat

When trying to transfer Shen Yuan from the real world to Proud Immortal Demon Way, the System runs into an error. The transfer is not complete. Shen Yuan is dropped off at the foot of a mountain aware of two things: he's in the story, and the Shen Qingqiu of this world is not only aware but thinks he tried to possess his body — and he's PISSED. Shen Yuan tries to opt out and live a simple life on what locals tell him is a monster-infested mountain no one in their right mind would bother with. Sounds like a great hiding spot! (TL;DR: Stardew Scum Villain Valley Mountain.)

I’m gonna start saying I love this story so much! Yes, it is super long! But!!! It’s not repetitive, it’s curious and smart, and there’s so much character development. It’s a whole feast. So what happens when Shen Yuan is transmigrating, but the original Shen Qingqiu is able to stop the “transfer”? He gets a whole new body, finds himself a mountain to hide from SQQ, and decides to make a quiet life for him there, while also trying to avoid the Plot. Not that it is possible with Liu Qingge appearing at the mountain and deciding to help him (while also thinking SY is the secret younger brother of SQQ). We get feelings! Action! Plot! Character development! All the relationships are so good, romantic or platonic! Cool OCs! Shen Yuan being himself and amazing!

But when Steve and Tony finally manage to put their differences aside and rise up against New Versailles... not everything is as simple as it seemed.

This was not good. This was so not good.

There were theories of course, of what The Captain would look like. Most followed the typical Hollywoodesque belief that he was some version of the Godfather, sitting in a dark room with a cigar, commanding his forces with a flick of his wrist. There were even some that even thought that The Captain was not one person, but a whole network of people with eyes and ears everywhere.

The blonde Adonis in front of him was definitely not what Tony was expecting.

Of course, in the end it didn’t matter.

There was a reason no one knew what The Captain looked like.

Because anyone who saw his face never lived to tell the tale.

Or so they think. More and more secrets are revealed as they dig deeper, and the Avengers are finding it just a bit more difficult to trust one another. New villains are on the rise, pushing the team ever closer to their limits.

It isn't long after the team starts to fall apart that Peter goes missing.

Summary: Tony is an asshole and Steve may be a little bit in denial. Tony is Alpha and Steve is, well, not really Alpha but that is a secret. This is a long suffering path from hate to love. In a world where gender defines your life, where biology controls your body, Steve is trying to figure out who he is and what he wants from life.

It was supposed to be funny but it turned out very angsty.

Steve stares at his hands, and suddenly everything makes perfect sense. It's a nervous gesture so like Iron Man's that first day Steve woke up in this strange new world. An empty suit. Bruises with an explanation that just seems phoned in. Tony exhausted and aching but still working, funding the Avengers through his own pockets. Tony keeping untold secrets close, brown eyes wide and filled with something unspeakable in the hallway, leaning away from Steve's arms instead of into them. If it's true then Steve's in even more trouble than he already thought he was.

Dangerous does not even begin to describe Tony Stark. He thinks, even in his own mind he sounds resigned.

In which the world at large does not know Tony Stark is Iron Man, and Steve falls for him harder than a bag of bricks anyway.

Summary: Steve has always believed that a soulbond is a blessing -- a rare and beautiful miracle, joining the thoughts and feelings of two people forever, from the first time they touch. And the only purpose he has left is leading the Ultimates, a misbegotten team of superheroes with flaws too numerous to count. Steve hates everything about the future -- but most of all he detests Tony, flashy and flirtatious, who embodies everything Steve hates about a world he never wanted to live in.

And, oh, yeah, Steve has a soulmate after all: Tony fucking Stark.

1. Prepariamo la frolla impastando tutti gli ingredienti, la avvolgiamo nella pellicola e mettiamo a riposare in frigorifero per 30 minuti

2. Prepariamo la crema:

a. Montiamo la panna con lo zucchero a velo

b. In un'altra ciotola mescoliamo mascarpone e yogurt greco

c. Amalgamiamo panna e mascarpone dall’alto verso il basso per non smontare la panna

6. Prendiamo la frolla, la stendiamo tra 2 fogli di carta forno e la mettiamo in uno stampo da 24 cm di diametro

7. La copriamo con la carta forno e ci mettiamo sopra i legumi per non farla gonfiare

8. Informiamo a 180° per 20 minuti

9. Una volta fredda la frolla, prendiamo una sac à poche senza beccuccio e facciamo delle pallotte sulla scocca

10. Laviamo i fichi con la buccia e li tagliamo a spicchi

11. Mettiamo i fichi sulla crostata a nostro gradimento e decoriamo con le foglioline di menta!
